I dunno why I thought of this, but SK Sun would have a visceral fear/hatred(?) of Will Wood, SOLELY because he owns a shit load of rats (the most popular one being Mr Boy, the silly guy)

I imagine he finds out like this:

Kid: “have you ever heard of Will wood”

Sun: “oh, well I’ve heard of them! What about them”

Kid, who is either obsessed with WW or rats or both: “he’s a cool music artist and owns a lot of rats” (UNAWARE OF RAT TRAUMA™️)

Hey I really LOVE you're Galactic Phoenix fic! Really cool! And I just love you're writing in general! I was wondering if you could possibly express an opinion on a ship I have made that you may or may not have heard of!

Sun x Taurus x Cetus....

Cetus being put to trial, Taurus wanting Cetus to do die yet he can't face the thought of his old courtship dying so he defends him, Cetus getting his powers taken away and having to live with the celestial fam, getting domesticated in the process and falling for Sun and Taurus...

Or Cetus flirting with Sun and teasing Taurus about it while Sun is in between them like "Why is this kinda hot...?".

Also the angst of Taurus hating the fact of Cetus being in the same house as Sun and Dazzle but yet still loving him and being in love with Sun.... Or that Taurus feels responsible for Cetus losing his arm which he chopped off during Cetus' betrayal...

(Cetus is the main villain and creator of NSP btw! And is a constellation of a sea serpent! Also me and my moot joke that his father is Poseidon since Poseidon created him to kill Princess Andromeda! And I imagine he's Taurus' ex)

1) THANK YOUUUUU ♡♡♡♡♡♡ my Angel Aura AU is one of my favorites to work on and I am shaking my Nursery!Sun aggressively (/affec)

2) I've seen that ship before!!!!!! And while a loooot of what I've seen is kinda vague-ish, I am so down. Sun deserves all the lovin', and honestly? I can see it.

Also it's kinda funny how the Celestials are just... becoming Astral Rehab. Oh, you need a pick-me-up? How do you feel about robots-?

I think Taurus would be pretty protective and conflicted, but while Sun has a... bad history with NSP in general ((smth that, I will add as an aside, they really don't touch on enough in Canon, and that has Potential-)) I think he'd also be pretty fascinated overall, too.

All in all, I think Sun, upon the introduction, would be WILDLY uncomfortable. There's a LOT of unpacked Issues regarding NSP that he's dealing with, and I think personally, he'd probably keep Dazzle as far from Cetus as possible. Aside from the Jack Situation, there's also Lunar's recent history, Razzle, and then Nexus. But I also think Sun considers himself to be the dumb one, but his anxiety gets worst when there's unknown components. So after the acclimation, I think he'd have... so many questions.

Imagine Taurus patiently answering everything he can, but some are either out of his own wheel house or even just too hard to explain. So he escorts Sun to Cetus himself.

Cue some passive aggressive flirting solely for the lolz. Smth along the times of "Oh, well color me surprised, Tau - I thought bringing me such a pretty gift would be beneath you~"

"He is no gift of yours; Sunrise is merely a bright mind seeking the truth. It would be in your best interest to offer it."

"Is that a threat, handsome? You know I enjoy a bit of rough play."

"It is a warning that he is under my direct protection. I am certain you recall just how acute my control can be, from personal experience. How is that arm treating you?"

"Oh, I'm not built to tolerate so much salt-"

Enter Sun immediately tilting his head, confused, as he pipes up, "But as a sea serpent, wouldn't salinity be where you thrive? Err- I-I mean-!"

And Cetus just blinks. "Ohh... I like you, silly one. Sunrise, was it? What queries have you in mind for me?"

Taurus is just seething with conflicting, Sun is glowing under the protective affection of a bull and the flirtatious attentions of a fish. Cetus is just happy for the entertainment for a spell.

Bonus points:

• NSP being, like all things, a genuinely GOOD tool in moderation. An overabundance of anything can be toxic, and there is meant to be balance. Cetus may have created NSP as we know it, but Rez and his group are propagating it in a way intrinsically poor to the nature of balance.

• think of them as like. Particles. We have protons, neutrons, and electrons. These make up atoms, which make up EVERYTHING in the known universe. You Need To Have Balance. While the USAGE of NSP is newly (comparatively) in effect, the energy itself has existed prior to it being an art or study.

• from the Nursery Sun Idea, imagine Nurseries being rich with both. Imagine them not differentiating because protecting the brood justifies the means to the end. Sun who doesn't use either SPECIFICALLY because he uses Just Raw Star Power. Sun being exactly what Cetus thought possible, proving a long held theory maybe.

• ((Nurseries, maybe, being damn near extinct for Stars would explain the split. NSP being so volatile would account for the vehement push to NOT USE IT EVER AT ALL THAT'S ILLEGAL-

But simultaneously, Nurseries are lost. Where they once existed in the hundreds of thousands, now they wither and wane. Sun is the youngest, the healthiest, and the newest. The NSP study and formation was done to recreate Nurseries synthetically. "Breaks eggs to make omlettes" type of shit. But it's damn near impossible to replicate bc the two types either react badly or the power is corrupted.))

• Cetus (Neg), Taurus (Pos), and Sun (Both) being a power throuple. UwU

Oh gosh I went on a tangent, sorryyyy. But yeah!!! I love the ship!!!!! Sun gets TWICE the kisses!!!!!!! Love giving that twinkled giant boyfriends!!!!!!!!

WIP Wednesday (8/21) | Guardian Angel Neil AU (Part 226)

“The other night, when you were talking about... Nathan. You started coming up with funny names for other criminals. And you were right. A lot of them have stupid monikers like that. Like…” Neil sticks his tongue out for a moment, clearly thinking. “Off the top of my head, Sherry Whittaker— fake name, most likely— she’s the Dentist. Wanna guess where she lives?”

“Not particularly.”

“Denver.”

Andrew blinks. “Seriously?”

“Mhmm. And I know what you’re thinking: that doesn’t seem too scary. Wrong. Queen of torture, that one. She was my mom’s go-to for information. Pulls people’s teeth right out of their heads until they tell her what she wants to know. Starts with the front ones and works her way back.” Neil places both index fingers over his lips before sliding them towards his ears, to the back of his jaw. Andrew’d like to trace that path with his tongue. 

With a start, he remembers the conversation. “Unpleasant.”

“Severely.”

“They should call her the tooth fairy,” Andrew says, recalling how that fable used to freak him the fuck out. Of course, growing up in foster homes, he was never visited by the horrid creature. But his classmates used to get excited about it, coming to school talking about finding a few bucks under their pillows. Andrew didn’t like the idea of someone coming into his bedroom like that. (Still doesn’t.)

“Catchy,” Neil says with an appreciative nod. “But, no alliteration. They love their alliteration. Makes them easy to remember, I guess.”

Andrew allows a snort and realizes that the rain has stopped, for real this time. Even outside of Neil’s little insulated bubble around them. Everything is wet still, drenched really. But Andrew's not and Neil isn't. The angel smiles at him warmly, then he sits back and looks up at the sky. Andrew joins him in watching the sun finally start to peak through the clouds.

Moon on the other hand would absolutely just wrap them in a blanket burrito and use the opportunity to fix Y/N's sleeping schedule a little bit.

Eclipse is just freaking out because they do NOT know what to do 💔

Demon trio AU- They would all fight over Y/N and whoever wins gets their first turn on cuddling with Y/N.

Shapeshifters duo AU- Sun would become small with Y/N and start a ridiculously long adventure for nothing

Moon would smother Y/N in affection, cuz obviously it's by instinct 👏

Eclipse (if it was to be around, cuz it's been gone for a long time), it would absolutely like to toy with Y/N and trick them, making them believe it wants to eat them or hurt them, or anything believable enough it can come up with.

Statues & Angels lost to time (OLDEST AU ever made)- Sunny would definitely snuggle with Y/N cuz he's been touch starved for a LONG time<33

Moon would be hesitant at first to approach you, because he thinks it has something to do with the building's curses and dark aura. But he'll reluctantly agree to hold you.

Eclipse- Oh boy.... he has a lot of things in mind. But for OGs that know this AU or for friends, y'all can guess...

Perhaps another time, on a sunny day AU(the one AU where it's Y/N deciding to save all the ruin animatronics and live with them, again, another older AU. Happens after the escape from the Pizza Plex)- Sunny would be over Y/N the moment he sees them, and would be sobbing as much as a broken machine can and asking Y/N almost incomprehensible sentences with no sense whatsoever.

Moon would pretty much just have a sleepover during the middle of the day with Y/N in a pillow fort, cuz why not!!

Eclipse would take the utmost care of Y/N, treating Y/N like the most important thing he's had to do. He will also try his best not to scratch them cuz yeah, the body hasn't been fixed yet</3

Seas, and otherwise, fishes for you AU (big fish AU. The one I told pooks ( @st4rryk1tten ) about :3)- Sun would definitely be scared when he comes from underwater, surfacing, only to find you as such a small, fragile doll instead of your human vessel that he got used to seeing. After he'd calm down, he'll swim out of sight of the open beachside and take care of Y/N in a more private place. (Yes that includes smooching the fish)

Moon on the other hand, would be a little confused, especially given the time of day it is. But when he acknowledges it's Y/N, he simply takes Y/N and does just about the same as Sun. (Except he's more eager for kisses and smooches. He's a very affectionate fish<33)

Eclipse (haven't decided what they'll be or if they'll even appear) will be a little more confident and immediately recognize Y/N, taking them before they get seen together, given their humongous size.

Other then these, I just have a lot of random AUs I absolutely forgot about, but I think you got the idea 👏

I'm not entirely sure what you're referring to with the Angels of Baal, do you means the angels as in the gods or the Blood Angels? Either way I will happily answer both questions! Take it as a two for one!

With the Blood Angels, she's usually fine with though she can end up feeling deeply uncomfortable being around them for too long. Her own legion, the Mourning Suns do worship her, but they usually keep it hidden from Lilith. The Blood Angels don't hide the fact they revere her in the slightest, they don't realize that she's a goddess, but they revere her for being the daughter of their lost primarch. They know that her presence seems to sooth the thirst and the black rage, thus they consider her to carry the blessing of Sanguinius.

In reality, it's the effects of Lilith being a goddess that allows her to lessen it's effects on those who carry it. It should also be noted that the Blood Angels are the only ones who have a Pre-heresy statue of Lilith that isn't destroyed. The Blood Angels keep it on the Angel's fall on Baal Secundus in the hopes that the forgotten Angel will continue to watch over them, as she once did their Primarch.

For the Angels of Baal? Lilith gets along very well with them. For the Golden Angel or Sanguinor, it comes to visit her every so often to see how she's doing. Both the Black and Golden Angel are confused as to why she won't ascend, why she clings to a humanity that isn't even there, but they attribute it to her being young and therefore a phase that she'll grow out of. Lilith takes comfort form their presence as the Angels are very much her actual parents.

The Golden Angel tends to give her advice, or allow her to seek comfort from it as it knows she needs it. The Black Angel on the other hand, also likes to visit. Both love her deeply and the Black Angel tends to cause Mephiston, its current vessel, strange amounts of emotions, as it tends to cause him to feel the affection and pride that it feels for Lilith. They are proud of her and cannot wait for the day she ascends and joins them. She is small yet to them, not quite the size of a planet yet, which fine to them.

She just hasn't hit her growth spurts in the warp yet.

which the jade emperor’s plan was wanting a strong heir that has the white wings which can populate many people so his next plan is making an arrange marriage for the futures heir when it is time from their right age,

the jade emperor wanted all this because this can make the heavens have more powers then anyone who tries to attack the heavens and him.

AC!Wukong doesn’t want all this he just wanted a safe place that is called home, which he doesn’t realize that his safe home is the flower fruit mountain that was his safe home but……his memories were wiped……by someone😃

Are we gonna get a Galatic Phoenix update anytime soon?

I'm gonna be so fr rn, honey. Ideally, I would LOVE to do another chapter soon. In practice? Suffice to say that life for me rn has me by the throat, and any personal time I can eek out goes toward trying to sleep, snagging a shower if I can, and working on my writing in that order.

I am essentially doing the stay-at-home mom thing without ever having had kids of my own, on top of full time care for my mom, on top of disabilities, and add on looking after two households for cooking, cleaning, etc. There's a LOT happening rn and my update schedule is reflecting it.

Galactic Phoenix is one of my passion projects, and the syntax I use for it, to really nail home the vibe and character voices, takes a LOT of brain power that I am currently just... not equipped to slam out. I get the ideas, sit down to type, and it's like it just goes poof to some dial up noise, ykwim?

Anyway, idk when I'll get the next chapter up, since I prefer to stay one chapter ahead in my docs, but I hope it'll be soon!!!! Sorry for the wait 😭😭😭😭
