Amazin Cosplay Black Myth Wukong

This was significantly more difficult than swapping Macaque and Wukong's clothes but apart from being dumb and using a lower quality image I think I'm happy with it overall - it was a fun challenge!

I struggled with what to do with MK's hair until I came across this really cute post by py-dreamer. I know I could have just left him with his bandana but apparently I hate to make things easy for myself.

The new headpiece crown thing in Sky cotl will be nearly PERFECT for my Sun Wukong outfit. I'll put it all together sometime later. For now, I adore how my Sky kid looks 💜💜

So, i said that i would try to make a Sun Wukong costume for my plushie, and i intend to keep my word!

So right now i've got..

WIP of attempt number 1 of the tiger skin skirt, im not sure If it will end up good but If It doesn't i can always try again

Mini book accurate Ruyi Jingu Bang (i tried writting in chinese multiple times but it's too small and my brush is too big 😭 so i tried to make the shapes of the letters at least, so It looks like there's something written on it)

Look at her with the staff! :D (she can't stand up straight lol, so Sunny has to sit on a brush for the picture)

And WIP of attempt number 1 and number 2 of the golden circlet. (Twisting the metal was a nightmare-) I think number 2 will look better, but we will see.

I want to try making a robe too, but i got no idea how im gonna do that yet, i'll have to see what materials i have.

And i want to try making a goard for her to carry, that will probably be easier to do

I got to meet stephanie sheh and micheal sinterniklaas at a con!!!!! :DD I made her fanart to keep and i also brought a version for her to sign! I was dressed as mk and i think i was the most excited person in line to meet both of them, they are like my heros!! this show means the world to me and inspires me everyday, voices like mei and ao lie mean so much to me :)

Ive been a huge fan of this show since season 2 began airing and ive been thinking about it everyday since!! it was so cool to ask him about his favorite part of voice directing and to ask her about her favorite part of playing mei! and after i was done talking to him, he asked to take a picture of my cosplay and sent it to sarah harper!!!!! thank you so much to the both of them for being huge inspirations to me, this show means so much to me!

If i ever see micheal sinterniklaas again at a con, i will print a version for him to have too!! im still super sorry i didnt print a third version D:
