Central Park is a vast and iconic urban park located in the heart of Manhattan, New York City. Covering 843 acres (approximately 341 hectares), Central Park is one of the most famous and beloved urban green spaces in the world. Here are some key details about Central Park:
Location: Central Park is located in the borough of Manhattan in New York City. It stretches from 59th Street in the south to 110th Street (also known as Cathedral Parkway) in the north and from Fifth Avenue on the east to Central Park West on the west.
Design and Landscape: Central Park was designed by landscape architects Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux in the mid-19th century. The park features a diverse landscape, including meadows, woodlands, lakes, and recreational facilities. Its design was inspired by the English romantic landscape tradition and includes winding paths, rustic bridges, and scenic vistas.
Historical Significance: Central Park was created in the 1850s and 1860s as a response to the growing urbanization of New York City. It was designed to provide residents with a respite from the city's bustling streets and offer a natural oasis in the heart of Manhattan.

Year-Round Beauty: Central Park offers a different experience in each season, from the lush greenery of spring and summer to the vibrant foliage of autumn and the serene beauty of snow-covered landscapes in winter.
Hiking and Nature Exploration: The park's extensive network of trails and pathways allows visitors to explore its diverse natural landscapes. The North Woods and the Ramble, for example, offer a more rugged and wooded experience, providing a stark contrast to the park's more manicured areas.

Hey 🌈
When do ggdd finish filming their current movies?
Hi Anon,
GG's movie is supposed to finish filming in November, and is set to be released shockingly fast. They're claiming Legend of the Condor Heroes will be released for Spring Festival, which is mid February. It's such an aggressive timeline, it's hard to believe.
There's not a lot of info out about DD's film Intercross (I hate that name so much). Cheng Er previously said it was going to be based on his short story Mermaid, but there are also rumors that he has since said that it's an entirely new story, so even what it's going to be about is unknown, although there is a synopsis on MyDramaList:
In the heart of the Greater Khingan Range, a secluded young man lives an isolated life; he travels for the first to the hot and crowded south to face its temptations. In Hanoi, Vietnam, a bittersweet middle-age man performes his unique and imaginative dance as a merman. In Aomori, Japan a female university student studies art. These people are from widely different worlds, yet their lives 'Intercross' with each other.
There have been so many melons about that project, including filming dates and locations (Tokyo, Thailand, Inner Mongolia, etc) that haven't materialized. It's really impossible to say anything about it at this point with any degree of certainty.
There are rumors that the booting ceremony already happened late August, and given what the director said about the project in the past (it would begin filming later in the summer) it has probably already started filming, but that's an unverified assumption.
Like I said, there really isn't any good info out there about this project at all.

Another Pe(ray)achtober piece for today (it’s Day 29 of Peachtober 2024), featuring another The Ex-Morning bit. At one point, I really wished Pathapee (Krist Perawat) and Tamtawan (Singto Prachaya) would have fixed their own issues, and I hope that they have given their relationship a second chance once they have forgiven each other for their shortcomings. That way, their torn couple portrait could have fixed (this is why today is #peachtober24break day)—you know, with a little bandage and some help from the Peraya bunch. :P (O HAI KING MAN!!! Like, King Man here represents every Peraya who looks forward to the series~~~~~ :P)
A broken couple portrait is one proof that Tam + Pee had gone through a breakup—not to mention, a messy background that emphasises their current state. Based from the plot GMMTV shared for a film festival in South Korea, this is going to be a drama with a little bit of action—especially that Patapee’s career has been marred by controversies, and someone out there is set to shoot him down. But hey, Tamtawan is also a red flag, and their breakup led to Patapee being a miserable snot to the point of him being abusive towards his co-workers. Like, WTF?!? :O
That's the point of having torn portraits: to invoke that Patapee and Tamtawan had broken up. The photo below is a print of the fan piece I used to make a series based on their breakup (not to mention, their tumultuous relationship), and you know how messy things have turned out for them~ T o T
Mess aside, it doesn't change the fact that I'm 110% hyped about The Ex-Morning. It has been so long since Krist + Singto had a BL drama together (read: SOTUS!!!), and I hope they could deliver us a great performance in The Ex-Morning this 2025~~~~~ :D
P.S. Krist has stated in his birthday charity event that The Ex-Morning fitting is scheduled sometime on November 2024. He also said that the shoot will start on 15~16 December 2024, so it is expected that the series will be out sometime in spring 2025, if not summer 2025. :P (Did I also mention that Lit Samajarn, the director of SOTUS, will also take the directorial role in Krist + Singto's comeback series? Now, that's going to be something for the books~~~~~ :D)

Sandra Oh’s Sense of Purpose
The actor discusses Hollywood survival skills, winning the lottery, and her interest in telling “messy” Asian American stories.
Sandra Oh wanted to talk to me, first, about the Monterey Park shooting. The attack had taken place a week earlier, not far from her home in Los Angeles. She was still working through her feelings about it. Seeing her face fill my laptop screen over Zoom, I thought about her ability as an actor to externalize emotion with the camera up close. For our interview, Oh had set up her computer in her back yard. A fire pit, with cushions and an L-shaped seating area, was behind her. As she discussed the shooting, Oh stared at a point off to her right; her eyebrows sloped upward, and her brow furrowed. She radiated dismay.
After we discussed the tragedy for a few minutes, she asked if she could start recording the conversation. She wanted to keep a copy of it for herself. Perhaps it was her age, she told me––fifty-one years old. She had been feeling the urge to gather her thoughts and “put them all together one day.” (She told me that she’s kept journals going back to the fifth grade.) She’d been dwelling on the shooting, turning over its meaning in her head––particularly the fact that the perpetrator turned out to be an Asian immigrant himself. The reflection is, in some ways, part of her work. Last October, during a panel I moderated at The New Yorker Festival, on “identity and craft,” Oh said that in the past the characters she played hadn’t “necessarily had their history, their family, their race, their culture explored.” Now, she added, her overriding interest was in “telling Asian American stories.”
Oh is still revered by fans for her decade-long stint as Cristina Yang, the unapologetically ambitious cardiothoracic surgeon and devoted best friend on “Grey’s Anatomy.” More recently, her portrayal of the world-weary British intelligence agent Eve Polastri, in BBC America’s breakout hit “Killing Eve,” earned her a raft of awards and critical plaudits. It was during the pandemic, however, as violence against Asians surged, that Oh’s artistic choices seemed to coalesce into a sense of purpose. She was at her farcical best as Ji-Yoon Kim, the pathbreaking English-department chair at Pembroke University, in the Netflix series “The Chair,” released in 2021. Last summer, she began production of an original Hulu comedy movie with the comedian and actress Nora Lum, otherwise known as Awkwafina. Oh is now filming a miniseries adaptation of “The Sympathizer,” Viet Thanh Nguyen’s tragicomic novel on the Vietnamese refugee experience, which won the Pulitzer Prize in 2016. The project is slated for HBO, and one of its creative visionaries is the South Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook.
In March, 2021, Oh was in the middle of production of “The Chair,” in Pennsylvania, when a white man went on a shooting rampage in Georgia, killing eight people, six of whom were women of Asian descent. Afterward, Oh made an unexpected appearance at a “Stop Asian Hate” rally in Pittsburgh. She took the megaphone and delivered a rousing speech that culminated with her asking the crowd to join her in repeating a mantra, which could have been a credo for her Hollywood career. “I am proud to be Asian,” she said, thrusting her hand high, and then pointing it at the ground in front of her. “I belong here.”
In the span of more than two hours on a Friday last month, she spoke about identity, opportunity, winning the lottery, and why she’s no longer waiting for the “white dudes” of the industry to call.

“I grew up in the 1960s in Hermosa Beach, California – a golden South Bay surfer city. My father, Freddy Pfahler, was a legendary surfer who was in Bruce Brown documentaries, including The Endless Summer (1966) and Slippery When Wet (1958). It was an idyllic time, when surfing was our American Renaissance and the lights of consciousness were being turned on. There was so much ritual, mythology and non-traditional religious custom in my life – like getting up at 5am with my father to watch the tide.
(…)
Mary Heilmann, Lorraine O’Grady – in fact, I was in a performance this year with Lorraine, Laurie Anderson and Anohni at The Kitchen in New York called She Who Saw Beautiful Things. It was dedicated to the late Japanese trans performer Dr Julia, who played with Anohni and the Johnsons. And, in 2008, my work was shown alongside Mary Heilmann’s at the Whitney Biennial. I’ve been incredibly lucky to work with some of my favourite teachers and artists. I didn’t care for Joseph Kosuth, though. He once screamed at me: ‘Kembra, what are you?’ At first, I turned away, because his words really hurt me. Then I looked him in the eye and said: ‘I’m an availabilist. I make the best use of what’s available.’ Sometimes, anger can point you in a direction, and that’s what happened to me that day. I invented availabilism because he enraged me.
(…)
My first husband, Samoa Moriki. When I first saw him, he was dancing on the bar at the Pyramid Club in the East Village. We were married and worked together for 21 years. He was from Hiroshima and adored Japanese theatre: Butoh, Noh and playwrights like Yukio Mishima. But he especially loved extreme outside performances, in which people would dive from the sky into pools of water: physically courageous, beautiful acts. Samoa appeared at one of the first Wigstock drag festivals with Lady Bunny and collaborated with the great performance artist Tanya Ransom, who sadly died of AIDS. Ransom was queer but had a child with a woman called Paula Swede. At the time, many of us were gender fluid and simply didn’t talk about it: the language was only just being born. Later, important people like Ron Athey, Bruce LaBruce and Vaginal Creme Davis would articulate it.
(…)
I loved all of Karen Black’s films: she was somehow beautiful yet ugly, and her consciousness was so expanded. One day, Mike Kuchar, the underground filmmaker, said to me: ‘Oh, Kembra: your work looks voluptuously horrific. And that’s how the name started. Karen Black actually came to the band’s first L.A. performance, in 1991, and introduced us saying: ‘I’m not sure if this is meant to be an insult or an homage: does voluptuous mean I’m curvy or fat?’ Then she took my hand and said: ‘You’re an artist and this is a creative project.’ She never sued me; she just let me be an artist.
(…)
I do feel the need for community and I believe the greatest changes are wrought through open-mindedness and grassroots activism – the principles of which are still the most vital to me. Important as it is to collaborate and meet others, though, I still spend a great deal of time isolating myself, instinctively protecting this painful humanity. But I learned the value of contrarianism from Lydia Lunch. So, when I crave retreat, I remind myself to go out.
(…)
There’s a very thin veil of freedom and truth over what is currently known as democracy. I would love to invent a different vocabulary for what exists now, but I can’t articulate it today.”
“Perseverance is something I don't think about. I don’t really suggest anyone navigating their work in any way unfamiliar to their own instinctual process. The harm comes when people start doing work for others instead of themselves or by doing what’s popular. As long as an artist stays true to their instincts there’s never a moment of despair. It’s a luxury to be able to do creative projects. Many can’t because they’re taking care of their families or their children. Art isn’t cool anymore, it’s for greedy suckers. Being creative is freedom and sharing what you make is like a celebration of that freedom. But art is for creeps these days, it’s become so disproportionally monetized people feel like failures when they don’t make money. Money has deformed art and money itself should be redesigned. It’s aesthetically so ugly. Change the size paper! Have someone do a sharpie drawing for the 2 dollar bill. The government has been so creative with stamps, they should get creative with money. I’m not sure if I answered that question either.
(…)
The girls of Karen Black I haven’t spoken about enough Christian Music, Alice Moy, Jackie Rivera or Chloé Blackshire. These women have illustrated the songs with costumes and a strong dislike of show business. The show must not go on. We aren’t in the entertainment business, we are just artists who accidentally formed a band that at times has more of an outreach than decorating a wealthy person's home. I like that it’s hard to put a picture frame around what artists do collaboratively. I don’t have a team, a manager, or anyone advising us on relevancy. I don't care if you think I’m relevant. I don’t have a career. I have a life and it’s fun to share things we learn or discover. That’s where art serves its greatest purpose. What else do we do? War? Make prisons for sick poor people or create shit jobs that don’t pay? Being creative and sharing is a benevolent human trajectory that’s difficult to irradiate even under the most heinous conditions. It lifts the spirits.”
“TVHKB is an interdisciplinary rock band established by my first husband Samoa Moriki and myself. We were married for 21 years. The band is named after one of my favourite characters in the 1975 fi lm Trilogy of Terror by director Dan Curtis. In terms of the new album, it took me about ten years to compile the lyrics. I don’t have a label that supports me and therefore I don’t have any time constraints. My last album I shelved and didn’t put out … I guess I’m fortunate because I don’t have people pushing me for management of my time. When I was a child in Los Angeles, I decided that I didn’t want to live on that side of the tracks, in terms of representation and what not. People were always asking me, “What’s up with your makeup?” and “Why do you dress like that?” I’d say, “What makeup? I’m not wearing any makeup, I usually wear full body paint!” [Laughs] It’s a lifestyle choice, I guess. I chose to be who I want to be. I have very intelligent friends and family so I have the tools to learn how to not listen to people telling me that I can’t do what I want to do.
(…)
To me, a renaissance is a golden time when the lights get turned on. I think New York in the ’80s was certainly a golden era, but of course things change. The years leading up to the ’80s in New York saw some really powerful ‘consciousness raising’ changes – those were the years that gave us people like Martin Luther King and Malcolm X and Alan Watts from the ’60s, when lights got turned on. Now, in 2021, it’s really nice to see young people getting to open galleries and run publications, but I think there has been a big change in corporate morality. There is still misogyny and racism here, those things have never been eradicated. I think a lot of larger corporations and galleries now monopolise on this.
(…)
The hard question is: how do we participate in capitalism knowing how virulent it is without utterly starving to death? It’s something young people, old people, everyone is dealing with. Dictatorships and facism have never been absent from the state of war, which transcends the modern day. It’s like that ACDC song, “War Machine” – it’s such an old song but it’s still so relevant today.
(…)
I would say, never compare yourself to other artists. That’s what I tell my students at Yale and Columbia. Be your own kind of artist.”

2017 VoicePlay fall activities — go, go, go ’til you ho-ho-ho
The last few months of the year are usually a busy time for singers, and this year was no exception for VoicePlay. Once they had wrapped up their summer projects, they rolled right on.
.
And they're off
The boys leaped into autumn by heading north once more for shows in NYC and Reading, PA.
They also threw their hats in the ring for a Hostess snack cake giveaway. (They didn't win, but that's okay. Some of the fans always made sure to keep them well supplied with sugar anyway.)
.
Back home, it was time to start rehearsing for their third and final year of residency at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. They also needed to prep for their upcoming trip to the west coast, and film their next music video. Eli did manage to sneak in a bro brunch with their old friend, Jeremy James, though.
.
A little West Coast swing
For the third weekend in October, the guys embarked on a fast-paced trip to Los Angeles. They crammed a concert and three video shoots into just three days.
They kicked things off with a Saturday night show in Palos Verdes (and teased the locals a bit by calling it by the translated name "Green Sticks").
.
On Sunday, they packed in two music video shoots. They started with one of their two Christmas tunes for the year and new collaborator Shoshana Bean. Then they hopped over to reunite with Kurt Hugo Schneider for a little Broadway music.
.
Monday was time to get silly and messy with the pocket.watch ladies and some Taylor Swift.
.
Keep it going
When they flew home, the boys were met by Rachel Potter once again for their second Christmas song of the year.
.
Merry Hallowee-mas
All the preparation the guys had been doing for the upcoming holiday season didn't mean that they would ever neglect spooky season. After a few days of rest, sound guy Paul Kaleka and J.None kicked off the weekend by winning Indaba Music's Spooky Jams contest with a song called "Ghosts and Goblins".
VoicePlay released their video for "What's This?" from The Nightmare Before Christmas on the day before Halloween, and used it as a segue into their new holiday EP, "Warm Up", which they announced at the beginning of November.
The tracks are a combination of revamped tunes from the previous year with J.None's vocals added into the mix, this year's three new offerings, and one more new song that received a video during the following holiday season.
Note that J.None is credited as a member of the group, not a featured guest.
.
One more spin
Just over a week after they'd gotten home, the boys headed out of town again for a student workshop and a concert at Western Illinois University.
.
Off to the races
One week after that, it was time to kick off their MVMCP schedule in the Magic Kingdom.
With sixteen shows per week for the rest of the year, it would be reasonable to think that job would be their sole focus. However, persuing a career in the performing arts isn't usually a path for sensible folks. There were still plenty of other engagements to keep them busy. For the second night of the residency, VoicePlay handed the reins to their backup guys and scooted up to Ohio.
.
But wait, there's more
The reason for their visit to Dayton was headlining the Kettering National A Cappella Festival. The trip there didn't go nearly as smoothly as they would've liked.
Once they actually reached their destination, though, the concert went off without a hitch, and the audience had a grand time.
.
The next weekend, they took a drive down to Avon Park for a show at South Florida State College. Because it was close to home, Kathy and Geoff decided to bring little William along for the first time.
Uncle Earl always seems to end up holding the babies in group photos. 😁
.
Having the week of Thanksgiving free from their Disney World duties didn't mean that they just kicked back and relaxed. First they hopped on the middle leg of a Disney Magic cruise for a three-day jaunt to The Bahamas and back.
Then on the evening of Thanksgiving itself, they gathered up Erik Winger and scooted down to the southeast coast to perform at the annual tree lighting ceremony for the Boca Raton Resort & Club.
.
On another day off from MVMCP in early December, the PattyCake guys teamed up with their friends at Entertainment Central to film a very beachy Christmas romp for their Atlantic City Boys group in Cocoa Beach. The final "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" / "Here Comes Santa Claus" mashup video was originally posted to Michael Evans's channel a week later, then reposted to the group's channel a year and a half after that.
.
That weekend, Winger joined VoicePlay for a two-show day at Mariner Church in Sping Hill, FL.
important preparations — ear plugs and power naps
.
When Rockapella came to town on their holiday tour near the end of the month, Layne and Cyndi took little Doris to see some of their pals.
.
J.None spent both the weekend before his birthday and New Year's Eve rocking out at local shows with Paradigm Party Band.
.
That's all, folks
With the year coming to an end, the VoicePlay guys finally took the chance to relax, spend time with loved ones, and prepare for the coming months. But those are tales for another post.

LENA YENER —
cis female & she/her
32
august 8, 1991
artist / owner of the broken spine
south addition
biography
lightening round —
born and raised in washington dc. parents emigrated from turkey. father was a diplomat and mother still works as a translator/interpreter
had a very strict and conservative upbringing. suffered abuse at the hands of a family member and was kept in silence about it
went to nyc for university and her first art project. the first exlorations into her art and ideas began with photography at music festivals, art directing for advertisements and magazines, and music videos
met her first partner and began a relationship with them during this time, even asked them to move back to washington dc with her when her time in nyc came to an end
the relationship always felt as though it were missing something and as though lena kept coming up short. when a new project came up and lena was to relocate for her work (to anchorage) she asked her partner to come with her and proposed. the no on both counts was devastating but she poured her pain into her work. plus it went along with the theme of her life
the move to anchorage was only meant to be temporary but lena ended up in a rebound relationship that fulfilled a void and she ended up staying even after her project was complete. making a home in anchorage and traveling when necessary
upon settling into anchorage, lena opened a book bar called the broken spine and has too much fun running it
as with anything else in her life relating to love, the rebound relationship eventually came to an end. leaving lena to stop making her work about heartbreak and push for something greater
a few of her projects/series have brought her international attention and acclaim. the first being, ‘i could not protect her’, a multimedia work, both her signature cinematic still photography along with a silent film detail her journey though abuse and the unchecked actions by the abuser. the next being her series titled “3ieb!” in arabic / “shame on me!” in english. a series that equally caused an uproar and gave voice to hundreds of thousands of middle eastern women all over the world
recently lena has been dipping her toe into video work once again, beginning to shift away from her decade long photography medium by publishing a book of a compilation of all her work. a little different from the music videos she’d produced in the past and her recent foray into short film, lena is interested in moving forward in long-form video work
the positive shift in her love life, experiencing real love for the first time without the usual toxicity she’d fallen into in the past and finally experiencing healthy love has also made a big difference
+ art series —

Hope can you tell us your 10 favourite documentaries or more than 10, I don’t mind hakshsj
hey babe!! i don’t know about 10 or more than 10 haha but off the top of my head these are ones i’ve really enjoyed:
The Decline of Western Civilization
A look at the late 1970s LA punk-rock scene and how its music drove its culture which was largely and blatantly ignored by the rock music press of the time. Investigating the songs of Alice Bag Band, Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Fear, and more.
Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck
Filmmaker Brett Morgen uses material from the Cobains' personal archives in an in-depth examination of the Nirvana frontman's childhood, music career and untimely death.
Meeting People is Easy
This film takes a decidedly unromantic look at the touring life of English rock group Radiohead. The gloomy alternative band finishes recording their third album, "OK Computer," then travels to Asia, Europe and North America to promote it. Radiohead plays a series of large concerts and holds extended press conferences, all of which take a physical and mental toll on the band. Radiohead's introverted lead singer-songwriter, Thom Yorke, has a particularly difficult time dealing with stardom.
Artifact
Telling harsh truths about the modern music business, this riveting and award-winning documentary gives intimate access to singer/actor Jared Leto (i know rip but it’s really good) and his band Thirty Seconds to Mars as they fight a relentless lawsuit with record label Virgin/EMI and write songs for their album "This Is War." Opening up his life for the camera during months of excruciating pressures, Leto reveals the struggles his band must face over questions of art, money and integrity.
Backstreet Boys: Show ‘Em What You’re Made Of
A behind-the-scenes, no holds barred look at the popular boy band, Backstreet Boys, as they discuss their rise to stardom, pressures and stresses of being in a world-known boyband, and the dark side of fame.
The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart?
Brothers Barry, Maurice and Robin Gibb find early fame in the 1960s and go on to write over 1,000 songs, including 20 No. 1 hits. This film follows the group's meteoric rise as they navigate the complexities of working so intimately alongside family.
I Am Trying to Break Your Heart: A Film About Wilco
This insightful documentary chronicles the tumultuous recording and release of the band Wilco's 2002 album "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot." A bold departure from the group's earlier releases, recording it nearly broke up the band, and when it was completed, their label refused to release it and eventually dumped Wilco from their roster. With the album completed, the band turned to the Internet to get attention for the record, which was eventually released to widespread success and critical acclaim.
Summer of Soul (…Or When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised)
In his acclaimed debut as a filmmaker, Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson presents a powerful and transporting documentary—part music film, part historical record created around an epic event that celebrated Black history, culture and fashion. Over the course of six weeks in the summer of 1969, just one hundred miles south of Woodstock, The Harlem Cultural Festival was filmed in Mount Morris Park (now Marcus Garvey Park). The footage was largely forgotten–until now. SUMMER OF SOUL shines a light on the importance of history to our spiritual well-being and stands as a testament to the healing power of music during times of unrest, both past and present. The feature includes concert performances by Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone, Sly & the Family Stone, Gladys Knight & the Pips, Mahalia Jackson, B.B. King, The 5th Dimension and more
Amy
Archival footage and personal testimonials present an intimate portrait of the life and career of British singer/songwriter Amy Winehouse.

TARJA TURUNEN Hopes To Complete New Rock Solo Album In 2024
In a new interview with Chas Byrne, Tarja Turunen spoke about the possibility of new music from the former NIGHTWISH singer in the not-too-distant future. She said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "I'm writing new songs all the time, preparing the songs for the new album, new rock album. I hope [I will be] wrapping things up in January, February next year before all the touring starts again, because there will be a lot of touring involved next year. I'll go on tour March with Marko Hietala from NIGHTWISH. We go to South America. I do in Germany also a tour, 'Rock Meets Classic', together with SUPERTRAMP guys, [members of] ULTRAVOX — legends, I go on tour with them in April. And in May, I will be in Mexico having a tour on my own. And then it's the summer already, summer festivals and more touring to do at the end of the year. So there's a lot of things. It's a lot, but I hope to come out with the album next year. Absolutely."
Turunen released "Dark Christmas", the sequel of her 2017 album "From Spirits And Ghosts (Score For A Dark Christmas)", on November 10. The LP includes enchanting and captivating renditions of well-known Christmas carols, such as WHAM!'s "Last Christmas", Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You", Paul McCartney's "Wonderful Christmastime", classics such as "Jingle Bells", "Frosty The Snowman" and "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer", as well as Tarja's brand new original song "Dark Christmas". The release is accompanied by 12 music videos — a video for each album song, as well as a full-length music feature film made available with Dolby Atmos immersive audio mix on all supporting platforms.

First Day of Fall/Fall Equinox
The First Day of Fall, also known as The Fall Equinox or Autumnal Equinox, takes place when the Sun crosses the celestial equator—an imaginary line in the sky directly above the earth's Equator—from North to the South. When the autumnal equinox occurs in the Northern Hemisphere, the vernal equinox occurs in the Southern Hemisphere. During this time the sun shines directly on the Equator, and the length of day and night is nearly equal. Days continue to shorten in the Northern Hemisphere as the earth's axis begins to tilt away from the sun, and days lengthen in the Southern Hemisphere as the opposite occurs there. With this, fall, which is the transition period from summer to winter, is started in the Northern Hemisphere. Temperatures begin to cool and leaves fall from deciduous trees.
The word "autumn" has Etruscan roots, and was used by the Romans before becoming the Latin word "autumnus". It was used sparingly in the Middle Ages, and came into wide use in the 16th century. Referring to the season as "harvest" was prevalent prior to the 16th century, and the use of the term "fall" has Germanic roots and became a widespread term used in England in the 16th century—deriving its name from the phrases "fall of the leaf" and "fall of the year." Although the term is now used less in England, it was brought by immigrants to North America and has remained in wide use there.
The season is closely associated with Halloween and Thanksgiving Day, and the traditions that go with those holidays. Tourism is important in some areas because of the beautiful colors of the fall leaves. But, at the same time the season is associated with melancholy, as colder weather is on its way. The season is also associated with the harvesting of crops, and the harvest moon, which is the full moon that occurs closest to the equinox.
How to Observe The First Day of Fall
Celebrate the day by doing something associated with fall:
Pick apples—maybe you can even make your own apple cider or bake an apple pie.
Pick and carve a pumpkin.
Drink Oktoberfest beer or find an Oktoberfest or other fall festival to go to.
Go on a hayride.
Watch a baseball game—the World Series isn't too far away.
Watch a football game—fall is the season of high school, college, and professional football.
Rake some leaves—maybe enough have already fallen that you can jump in a pile of them, or you could collect some colorful leaves and plan to do so for the rest of the season.
Pick out what you will wear for Halloween.
Plan a fall trip to see the changing colors of the leaves.
Read poetry that deals with fall, such as John Keats' "To Autumn", William Butler Yeats' "The Wild Swans at Coole", and "Autumn Song" by Paul Verlaine.
Watch a film that takes place during fall.
Listen to music associated with the season, such as Neil Young's Harvest Moon, George Winston's Autumn, or John Coltrane's "Equinox".
