#summer at the lake

In grade school, Jimmy Buffet played the trombone in the school band. As a child he was exposed to sailing through his grandfather and these experiences would go on to influence his later music. He started playing the guitar in college and began his musical career in Nashville, Tennessee, during the late 1960s as a country artist. Jimmy later moved to Key West and began establishing the easy-going beach-bum persona he became known for.

James William Buffett died on September 1, 2023 at the age of 76.

How could I forget that spending a relaxing day at the lake with a good friend feels like a vacation? Summer is over soon and I just did it today!

Whereabouts do you live, roughly speaking, and what drew you to that place in particular?

I'm in Michigan, and that's as specifically as I will answer that question! We have really lethal lakes.

So imagine the Three Wolves (and maybe the Divin' Wolf Pups as well) doing a sunset dive on a warm summer's evening in a bay of some lake in northern Minnesota not unlike this.
