was catching up on boruto and i am genuinely shocked to see that people think anything other than boruto and sarada would be endgame? like no disrespect to the ogs love them all but kishimoto never gave a single romantic pairing in naruto this much development or base (like you could say naruto and sakura had lots of screentime together but her loving sasuke had been established from day 1 so eh)

lowkey why would i even want to ship any other female character with boruto like sumire when he’s already dedicated his life to helping sarada as hokage and now tack on his vow to sasuke on top of that. like sorry but i would rather jump off a cliff than see the man in my fav ship prioritize another woman like 💀

Yin-Yang Trope:

Sumire has Gozu Tenno mark on her left hand (Lunar side) while Boruto has her Karma mark on her right hand(Solar side).

Mitsuki's eyes are the color of Eye of Horus(Lunar eye) while Sarada's are the color of Eye of Ra (Solar Eyes).

Mitsuki and Sumire are Yin-Type characters while Boruto and Sarada are Yang-Type.

I can go on talking about the trope,But i can tell that it's more likely for MitsuSara and BoruSumi to become Endgame especially after Sarada said Boruto is like her brother and the fact that Sumire was brave enough to confess her love for Boruto while Mitsuki has never shown to be intimate with any girl except for Sarada,and both of them are quite almost always seen with each other and in Sasuke shinden they even had a Tarzan and Jane moment when a romantic song was being played.

I'm familiar with Kishimoto's tropes,and the way Boruto treats Sumire/Mitsuki treats Sarada makes it more believable knowing what happened in OG Naruto. Like how many times we were teased with those SasuSaku panels? NaruHina scenes in anime? Yeah,you might get what i mean.

Do you have any headcanon on how Boruto's extended family members (i.e Hinata, Himawari, and Naruto) would do once they find out about Sumire's crush (love) for Boruto in the future? Especially if we get something similar to a Pain moment between them or they come to know everything Sumire's done to support Boruto from behind

i think the uzumakis would be in awe and just so grateful to sumire. thanks to omnipotence, boruto essentially has no one. sure, yes, he has sarada since she was unaffected BUT prior to omnipotence, she didn’t know anything about momoshiki. she found out during the boro fight and she found out kawaki killed him later while sumire knew. she has always been kept up to date (and that imo says a lot tbh about the characters’s roles). so to find out sumire has always been there for boruto… i can’t help but think the uzumakis would be grateful

also, i feel like hinata could possibly help sumire gain the confidence she needs to confess to boruto. i say hinata since she was always in love with naruto so she knows and understands where sumire would be coming from and how it feels to love someone and how nerve wracking it can be to confess. i don’t think any of the uzumakis would drop hints to help boruto realize sumire likes him because it’s up to sumire when she feels comfortable and ready to confess. plus, giving boruto a hint and push him towards sumire imo is more sarada’s job since her and boruto are close friends and she was the first to find out about sumire’s feelings

and yeah !! i feel like a pain moment between boruto and sumire would be really cool :3 but we’ll have to wait and see how this all plays out. i wonder if sumire will be back on the battlefield at some point since in chapter 8, we saw her and sarada running towards where the threats are. makes me wonder why if she’s not a fighter but we’ll see what happens

i personally feel like sumire won’t be put on the battlefield unless they’re like low on shinobi and sarada… its hard to tell. i feel like they’ll only give her like one fight and then make her take a backseat until the final threat shows up cuz the writing sure points as her not doing anything at all especially since it seems sumire is getting more focus regarding the overall story. makes sense considering boruto has the ninja tech and cyborgs and sumire is in the science field and she’s the reason shikamaru listened up about omnipotence, while he always disregarded sarada. i think sumire’s future looks promising since we still need to see where her scientific research leads her !!

but overall, i think the uzumakis would be forever grateful she was always there for their boy since day one and even when he had no one. due to this, i think she’ll fit right in their family♡

final note: i feel like boruto finding out everything sumire’s done for him will make him fall for her. kinda like jack and sally (the nightmare before christmas) in a sense. sally was always in love with jack, worried and doing things for him in the background. she just wanted what’s best for him and after all that happened when he tried taking over christmas, he falls for her cuz she was right all along and was always there to support him ♡ borusumi feels pretty similar. i can see boruto approaching sumire and telling her “i need to thank you” cuz she was ALWAYS there for him♡ i don’t know how to explain it… i’m not very good with words so sorry if i make no sense in that regard >.<

People say that this scene reminded them of NS eps where Sakura hugged Naruto and Hinata watched them, but for me it gives me a déjà vu to Sasusaku hug scene in the hospital where Naruto just watched them instead, Sumire's expression was so similar to Naruto's when you compare them. I feel sorry for Sumire because it seems like Boruto only has his eyes for Sarada and it's always Borusara to begin with. Oh, MK sensei I see you..

Let's talk a bit about this. We already know that currently only Sarada and Sumire are outside of Ada's omnipotence, but they must pretend to her. We added Sasuke because Sarada in her desperation to save Boruto awakened the Mangekyo which made Sasuke blindly trust her and protect Boruto, however there is another character that should be added to this list and that is Sakura.

Before you call me Sakura Stan, think about it for a moment. Sasuke blindly trusts Sarada just like Sakura, but above all, Sakura fully trusts her husband and knows that Sasuke does not act foolishly or lightly, so it would not be strange to think so even if she is also under the rewrite.

Currently the key pieces of the franchise are Sarada and Sumire to face the rewrite because they are the only ones that are perfectly reminiscent of boruto. Sasuke and Sakura probably don't trust him at all, but for Sarada they take a chance.

Why do you say this?

In chapter 1 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, we saw that sarada already knows the truth about Sasuke and no one other than Sakura could have told it, she knows firsthand what the old team 7 experienced, so Boruto's situation would not be serious something new for her, she married a deserter after all.

My theory is that, she was the one who told Sarada about Sasuke's life in order for Sarada to trust not only her father to protect Boruto, but also for her to keep hope in Boruto and defend him until the end. end like she did with Sasuke.
