Higuruma is one of my fave newer characters in JJK.... I remember being soooo worried when he was first hinted at when I was reading the manga and I was stressed like every week during his intro fight VS Yuuji while it was ongoing lol

Wolf/Rabbit parallels between Yuji/Mahito and Megumi

Watching the anime, the end of the fight between Yuji and Mahito became prominent on my mind again. We see Mahito utterly defeated and running away for his life, slowly chased down by Yuji who promises him that he'll kill him without remorse now and every time he gets reborn.

The scene even gets an overlay of a snowed-in landscape, driving home the imagery of Mahito being chased as a rabbit, small and defenceless, by a big and white wolf. The anime adds some extra scenes into this e.g. by showing us a rabbit with a broken leg.

The representation of this turn in power dynamics is extremely visual (Mahito's new facial expressions, him running away, the split panel with Yuji on the left and Mahito on the right with Yuji's hitherto unseen cold demeanor that's Sukuna-like) with an extra metaphor added on top with the prey animal and predator.

It's really striking though that Gege decided to use this prey and this predator: a white rabbit and white wolf. Two animals mostly associated with Megumi. Yuji himself is mostly associated with a tiger.

For the above metaphor, the rabbit and the wolf are adversaries with an obvious showing of who kills who. For Megumi though the rabbit and the wolf are companions and two of his shikigami that are still alive - except with the white and black wolfs/dogs reversed.

If we were to try and apply this imagery and metaphor onto Megumi, we could come up with the theme that Megumi is his own and biggest enemy right now. His dog and his rabbit existed in harmony with each other but now there is internal strife caused by trauma that ripped those shikigami apart into a state of prey and predator.

If Megumi had been mentally stable (which is an impossibility after all the suffering he was pushed into) he could've reacted to Yuji entering his inner domain by retaking his body. But he's obviously in deep pain and resignation because of outside influences - Sukuna's torture.

Those influences most likely have also caused inner turmoil where Megumi's mind, his heart, his desires, his duties, his concience, everything is working against each other leading him to be in a state of powerlessness. His Cursed Technique and body have been literally used against him as well.

In the next chapters, Yuji and the others will try to bring Megumi to fight back and defeat Sukuna from the inside. From the looks of it, this will be a tough call because Megumi already lost his will to live. Whoever will take the lead on that help and who will contribute what is unimportant right now.

The thing is, even if/when Tsumiki's soul itself starts to talk to Megumi, he'll still be completely defeated because what he had cherrished and wanted the most in his life died at his hands and won't come back. Even if Megumi wanted to listen to Tsumiki and Yuji, parts of him won't get up from that floor he was trapped on for a month completely alone.

In the Mahito metaphor, Yuji is represented for some reason as a white wolf. The anime shows this better with additional black wolves at his side. Yuji's colour scheme, overall but especially in that fight, is black however.

The very first shikigami from Megumi that had been killed was his white wolf and that by Sukuna's Finger Bearer. When we apply the Yuji/Mahito metaphor to Megumi, the white/black inversion of colours becomes significant because it pulls Yuji - the white wolf - into Megumi's struggles.

It also pushes the fear that Yuji will be killed by Sukuna to the forefront. Megumi's metaphorical white wolf might get killed directly by Sukuna who had previously killed his literal white wolf indirectly.

There is also comfort there though when your first fallen friend spiritually guides you back to the light. Megumi just needs to see and understand that and finally find the conviction to live for himself without being bound down by Tsumiki and her death.

(The association between Yuji and Tiger Funeral though is also there. Tiger Funeral did not have a design reveal and I think Gege intentionally made that decision so Megumi could be the first to summon him right after Yuji saves him to show us their bond.)

they actually ARE all from the manga (even the first one 😩) and i think she scanned them !! i'm not sure what app she used to edit them, but whenever i make my own banners, i use photopea (a free browser-based rip of photoshop lmao)

basically, take a black and white manga panel, grab the hex code of a color you like, double click on the layer with the image > select color overlay (or gradient overlay if u wanna get fancy) > input the hex code for the color you want > play with the blend mode options to find something you like! i tend to use multiply and screen for a lot of my banners!!

Todo and Yuuji had first bonded over their infatuation for Jennifer Lawrence. Yuuji always said his type was tall girls with big butts, however, he’s never been one for the superficial. Truthfully, Yuuji’s weak for strong, independent women, who are confident in their strength. Confident enough that they know it’s okay to depend on others.

Yuuji was in awe of her meekness. Her ability to know her talents and how to meticulously use them to support herself and the people around her. God, he was in awe of Dollie.

Days would go by in a flash as he stared at her from his desk. She’d scribble down her notes in an, undoubtedly, smooth penmanship, contrary to his own chicken scratches. Her coffee-colored eyes would flicker from the board to her notebook and, even though they were facing the opposite direction of Yuuji, it felt like she had put him in a trace. Her brows would furrow for a moment when she was confused about something but she softly smile and lax her face one she figured it out. The small reactions she made always captivated him completely.

Yuuji knew, no matter what, that he had to protect her. But the best part of Yuuji’s attentiveness was that he knew the limitations of his dear friends. He knew what they could handle, he knew they were strong, he trusted in their skill set, and he trusted in them.

After a devastating mission with a curse born from wrath, all four of the first years were incredibly scuffed up, especially Yuuji, who had devoted himself to protect Dollie at any cost. Out of the four, Dollie had it the best. And the kind soul that she is, she made it her responsibility to patch up all the first years, starting with her favorite one.

“Yuuji?” Dollie opened his door and peaked inside. Strands of inky hair overlayed her vision, prompting her to tie it back.

Yuuji’s jaw had been dislocated and relocated multiple times, so, his silence was completely justified.

He had taken a shower, that was quite evident due to his soaked hair that rested on a towel over his pillow. He waved and tried to smile but he winced and immediately regretted it, for, the pain that came after was daunting and ruthless.

Dollie smiled sympathetically, “My poor boy,”

Her words ignited such a flame in his heart and, though not outwardly, he was sporting a beaming smile on the inside that Sukuna, of course, berated him for.

After his shower he didn’t bother trying to put on a shirt after he realized how much it hurt to raise his arms. The feeling of uselessness was terribly unforgiving, though, the feeling on her hands rubbing over his chest with a healing ointment was.

Dollie glanced to his face and her eyes fell toward his jaw. Taking to fingers on either side she gently massaged where the two bone structures met, diligently watching for any signs of discomfort. Yuuji hadn’t realized his eyes were lulled into closing during her ministrations on his aching jaw, but Dollie had.

And for some terribly odd reason, seeing Yuuji this peaceful with his eyes closed and his his face free of tension, lips parted in bliss, her cheeks were flooded with a fiery, unwavering, heat. Until she noticed it. A small, faint, cut on his top lip.

She traced the slit with the pad of her pointer, her touch so soft that it barely felt like she was touching him. Yuuji’s eyes opened to see concern painted on her face. It was excruciating not being able to tell her he was alright, or praise her for her hard work— but someone else could.

“Tell her Sukuna! Do it! Say how wonderful she is to us!” Yuuji yelled as he fought with his own personal devil.

“No, she’s your crush not mine, brat.”

“I won’t stop asking you! Please, please, please, please, please, please-”

“ARGH!”

Dollie saw in his face a moment of sheer determination, and then contentment, before a second mouth revealed itself, as well.

“The brat said, ‘kiss me already’.” Sukuna’s mouth left his cheek as Yuuji’s eyes shot open and he tried to sit up and defend himself. He didn’t get very far before he felt two soft hands push his chest back down. He watched in amazement and adoration as Dollie lowered her head down to where her lips met his.

“I thought you’d never ask,”

God, she has the voice of an angel.

Dinosaurs might not be around anymore, however, we are still in awe about these creatures that once ruled this Earth. I am one of those people that has always been curious about dinosaurs (in fact I even collected some fossils myself). Mushroom Heartless

I remember the release of Kingdom Hearts back in 2002, that art, the music was just sublime. Now Square Enix have announced Kingdom Hearts 4. This announcement brought joy to me, and I began to think about memories from the previous games that I played. That's where these kawaii heartless come into play!

Here I have created the colours of some of the original Fungai heartless, however, I also made sure that the Twitch streamer has a hierarchy with the colours available for their Twitch subscribers.

Elder Scrolls

The Elder Scrolls game series is one of the most talked and played game series across the globe. If you've ever heard of their titles such as Oblivion, Morrowind and Skyrim, then I'm sure you caught a Twitch stream where their theme is based on this game series.

Want to energize your fans? This Elder Scrolls/Skyrim sub badge pack will get everyone pumped! There's a range available, from the map marker to items within the games, including Khajiit's skooma.

In certain states in America, some things are more legal than others. I'm sure if you're into recreational activities of sorts, that you might have come across Twitch streams that have content that covers this topic in one way or another.
