Fic Recommendations...🙃

So I don’t know but this may be a little different to normal fic recs? I’m not really sure but I’m just gonna list my favourite writers and my favourite stories from them soooo this might be a really long post but you know what? WHO CARES THESE PEOPLE DESERVE OUR LOVE!!! 

@marshmallow-phd aka. my favourite writer on Tumblr - AN ABSOLUTE WRITING GOD, will take you on an emotional rollarcoaster - brilliant, just brilliant. Has so many more brilliant stories but I’m just gonna link my absolute favouritessss. 

The Experiments - EXO OT12 - LuckyOne!AU - The best fan fiction I have ever read. Hands down. Nothing will ever compare to this story. I can’t really say much about this story without spoiling it but just WOW. - It was because of this story that Junmyeon became my bias. 🤭 The sequel The Wanderers is just as good, but the Experiments just takes the cake for me. 

The Untamed Universe - EXO OT12 - Werewolf!AU - There is a personalised series for 8 out of 12 of the members, and each story is so beautifully constructed and so different from the last which is what makes it so goooodddd. You don’t have to read them in order, but I recommend that you do in order to get the full story. However, my two favourite stories within this Universe are undoubtedly

Fighting Instinct - Jongdae (Part One).  

Charming Instruction  - Junmyeon (Part Five). This one resonated particularly well with me because the protagonists life goals are almost exactly the same as my own which just made the read so much more enjoyable for me. 

The Sins of the Father - EXO - Junmyeon - Mafia!AU My favourite genre to read is MafiaAu’s so this was pretty much my ideal story. Again, the world crafting is brilliant, the use of language amazing. And has a Luhan spinoff that is currently being written. 🙃

Like a Butterfly - BTS - Yoongi -  NonIdol!AU/ SingleDad!AU - Again I can’t say too much without spoiling it but it is so soft but angsty and it has a really really good ending. 

Competition - BTS & GOT7 - Jungkook, Taehyung, Jackson and BamBam. Fluff and angst. 4 boys fighting over a girl. I really love this  story. 

Now we come to a group of writers I refer to as ‘the New Rat Pack’ (George Clooney Matt Damon, Andy Garcia, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Casey Affleck, Scott Caan, Elliott Gould, Bernie Mac and Carl Reiner - literally anyone in Ocean’s Eleven) of Tumblr Writers because they are so freaking amazing you can literally identify their group by the EXO Customs Series because they are all each writing a section of that but just wow. Okay, I’m just gonna list the writers and my all time favourite piece because if I don’t limit myself we will be here forever.

It was something that the two of you had been trying for, for a while now. When Chanyeol had returned from his military service it had seemed like the perfect time. You were married now so why not? You were both ready. Except it just wasn’t happening. It had begun to get to the stage where the two of you were terrified that it was never going to happen. Until the day you found yourself on the cool floor of your bathroom losing all the previous days food. Which was peculiar for several reasons… One you hadn’t felt ill the night before and two the food that you had eaten was food that you had eaten before so there was nothing new in your system. Which could only mean…. No. You didn’t want to get your hopes up like the several times before only to have your heart broken again. And well there was only one way to find out. So, you dragged yourself across the floor to your bathroom cabinet where you kept the spare tests. You rummaged through the draws digging through to the bottom of the draw where you spotted the familiar box. The prayer running through your head ‘Please. Please. Please. Please.’

‘Yeollie…’ you whispered when he tore through the bathroom door. The tears pouring down your face only added to the fear he felt when he received your panicked phone call 15 minutes prior begging him to come home. Slumping to his knees in front of you he frantically grasps your face in between his to hands, his eyes searching for answers in your own, when your face broke out in the largest grin, he had ever seen grace your face. He followed your gaze as it moved to you lap where you were gripping something in between your fingers. Hands shaking, he let go of his hold on your face and reached down slowly to envelop your hands with his own. He felt his heart leap in his chest as he began to recognise the shape of the object in your hands. After what felt like an eternity you removed your hand that had been covering the small digital plate.

Pregnant

He began to sob, crash tackling you to the floor peppering your face with kisses. The only other time he could recall feeling as elated as he did in this moment was the day he married you.

Eventually he pulled you back up into a seated position, his arms cradling your head to his chest.

‘I’m finally going to be a dad?’ He whispered, confirming what he had read. Pulling away and gazing up at him you replied

‘Yes, Chanyeol you’re finally going to be a dad.’

Interruptions - Sehun Request 1

Pairings: Oh Sehun x Reader, BestFriend! Kyungsoo x Reader (Platonic)

Synopsis: You and Kyungsoo were best friends long before he introduced you to Sehun, which was something that Sehun quite often forgot. 

A.N: I wrote an 800 word narrative for English today and then just went you know what I’m gonna write this Sehun request while I'm at it. So I’m sorry if this is terrible...

Sehun quite often forgot that before you were his girlfriend you were Kyungsoo’s best friend. It was moment’s like these where he resented that fact. You were at the dorms and you had been hanging out with Sehun in his room, just the two of you taking about everything and nothing. The key words here are had been. Kyungsoo had barged into his room WITHOUT KNOCKING and took you away because ‘he had you first, which gives him the right to steal you whenever he likes’. Please note the sarcasm…

So, now here you all were sitting in the living room watching a movie together and you were curled up next to Kyungsoo with Jongin on the other side. And look whilst it frustrated him that you found so much comfort in the other boys, he wasn’t jealous. Nope. Not at all. He even made it through a large majority of the film before you caught onto his jealousy. The whole film you had been whispering with Kyungsoo and Jongin, Sehun could only assume that you were asking questions about the film, however, it was when you started laughing that set him off. It wasn’t even the quiet giggle you normally do around your friends; it was the full belly laugh that was usually reserved for him and him only.

‘Babyyyyyy…’ he whined, desperate for your attention, but no you kept laughing at something that Kyungsoo had said, then Junmyeon piped up and said something absolutely ridiculous, which caused a loud snort and tears to well up in your eyes. Sehun had had enough but also didn’t want to bethatboyfriend who constantly removed you from fun situations. You only noticed his mood change when he abruptly stood up and left the room, which cut your laughter off instantly. You quickly stood up, apologised to Kyungsoo and chased off after Sehun down the hall.

When you finally reached his door you could hear his soft footsteps indicating that he was pacing around his room, so you took you’re hand reached up, knocked and then proceeded to shuffle into the room, your head hung because you understood what had happened.

‘Hun?’ you whispered as his head snapped toward you ‘I’m sorry I broke my promise. I know I promised that I would spend today with you, no interruptions…’

Sensing how upset the situation had made you he replied, ‘Y/N, no. No, no, no, no. I forget that you had Kyungsoo before you had me and that kind of inseparable friendship is hard to be away from, I mean look at me and Myeon. I get it, and I’m the one who should be sorry for reacting like that again…’

You interrupted before he had the chance to continue, ‘Do you wanna maybe sat in here and watch a movie? Just you and me? I promise no interruptions.’

He closed his eyes for a brief moment, a small smile graced his lips as he grabbed your waist and pulled you onto the bed, ‘I thought you’d never ask.’

Junmyeon was worried. Actually, no worried was an understatement he was terrified. He had only just come back from tour and you had been distant. Not in the sense that you were ignoring him or anything, you just disappeared for long periods of time without really telling him were you were going and that scared him a lot. He didn’t know where you were or who you were with and that caused him to jump to terrible conclusions. 

You were here all alone for such a long time and it would make sense for you to find some comfort somewhere. Junmyeon just prayed that the comfort you sought was with the books in the new library that had gone in in the middle of town and not with another man. However, it was moments like these; where the two of you lay in your bed and he watched the sun trickle in through the blinds and onto your sleeping body curled up next to him, where his worries disappeared for a few moments.

It was when he reached out to tuck some of your hair that had fallen into your face, back into place that your eyes began to flutter open. Not too dissimilar to a cat, you stretched your muscles out, eventually placing your chin on his shoulder and grinning up at him. Him beaming right back.

‘Morning beautiful,’ Junmyeon murmured as he lent down to kiss you. However, you scrunched up your nose, trying to push away from him.

‘NO NO NO NO NO MORNING BREATH!!!’ You giggled rolling away from him,

‘Y/F/N! What did you just say to me? Did you just imply that I have morning breath? Now that is a crime punishable by death!’ He laughed along with you, grabbing your hand and pulling you back against his chest, pecking your lips in the process. ‘Can we just stay here for a little bit? It’s been so long since I’ve gotten to just hold you without anywhere to be. Y/N please?’ He begged, his arms getting tighter and tighter around your waist, preventing you from leaving. And as much as you wanted to stay, you were itching to finish your most recent artwork, it lay unfinished in your in-house studio begging to be completed. That and it was a surprise for Junmyeon.

‘Myeonie…’ you began

‘Please... Y/N just five more minutes please?’ Somehow his grip became even tighter almost if he squeezed you tight enough you wouldn’t leave.

‘I’m sorry Myeonie, there is just something really important that I have to do. It’s almost finished and when it is done I’m all yours I promise.’ You reasoned… He eventually conceded defeat, leaving you to ‘wait for him’ until he came back from the bathroom to accompany you to do whatever it was that you needed to do. However, you had vanished in the time it had taken him to return from the bathroom. His fear of what you may have left to do resurfaced if only for a few seconds as Junmyeon ran down the stairs to your studio, following the sound of the music blasting from the speakers he bought you in the previous year. He rounded the corner, bursting through the door prepared to confront you about your behaviour, when he froze.

His assumptions for your distance were so far from the truth that he was ashamed of himself. How could he have thought you were cheating when you loved him enough to do this for him? No, you weren’t cheating on him. You were painting him. And he had never felt so guilty. Upon hearing the door open you immediately spun around in shock and began to try to move him from the room.

‘Myeonie no! Please it was supposed to be a surprise for you. It’s not finished, you aren’t supposed to see it yet!’ You yelled, only managing to budge his frozen body slightly.

‘Oh god Y/N, its beautiful.’ He whispered. ‘I don’t care that it isn’t finished, it is beautiful, and I love it.’

‘As much as you love me, Myeonie?’ you questioned sweetly. He chuckled in response.  

‘I’ll never love anything as I love you Princess.’ He reached up, brushing his thumb lightly over your cheek as he rested his forehead against your own, smudging some wet paint that you had somehow managed to get on your face. ‘C’mon Y/N lets go back to bed, we can finish this together tomorrow.’ He whispered, after waiting for the slight nod of your head, Junmyeon gently clutched your hand in his own and removed you from your studio leading you up to your shared bedroom once again.

(I feel like this is the kind of face he would have pulled, when reader insulted his morning breath lol)

It Never Hurts to Just Say Hi.

The first time he met you, you were practicing for an award show with Hoseok. Considering the two of you had been dubbed the dance king and queen people thought it was only fair for the two of you to perform a special stage at MAMA this year.

Jin had been coming down to the practise studio to ask Hoseok for some pointers for their latest comeback but what he got was a lot more than he bargained for… He had heard Hoseok talk about you before and wanted to get to know you as his brother had. The moment the two of you made eye contact however, he knew he was done for.

‘H-Hi, I’m Jin. Kim Seokjin.’ He pulled his hand out for you to shake not breaking eye contact. Your smiled radiated from your face as you grinned back at him.

‘Y/N. Y/N Y/L/N.’

Blood, Sweat and Tears - Park Jimin

Synopsis: I don’t really know how to explain this one... Involves Jimin ‘Blood, Sweat and Tears’ era and a whole lot of jealously...

He hadn’t let you watch the music video when it first dropped, wanting to see your face when you watched it live at their first stage. That should have been a clue in itself for you to watch the music video to prepare yourself but no, you trusted your boyfriend (big mistake) and went along with his plan.  

Jimin had asked for you to be seated in the middle of the centre row. Far enough back so you could watch the entire performance but directly in his line of sight and fans weren’t a problem because you two had been secretly going strong for a few years. So, there you sat, waiting for them to perform Blood Sweat and Tears. Jimin had not given you any clues or hints as to the song or the choreography, Jungkook however, had approached you quietly before the show warning you to prepare yourself, which confused you even more.

As the lights faded the screams around you turned deafening. The moment the music started you finally understood why. You finally understood the difference between your boyfriend and the idol. The person who stood centre stage looked like and sounded like your goofy, loving and playful ChimChim however, he wasn’t. This was Park Jimin, idol and member of BTS. He moved so smoothly, like rain running down a window in a storm. And boy did he look good. If you were to compare your boyfriend to anything in that moment it would be to a Greek God, sculpted to perfection. Which was probably the moment when the green monster appeared, as much as you were in awe of him, only you should see this side of him and once the performance was over, he got the message loud and clear.

To say you were mad would be an understatement. If he had let you watch the music video before or had in any way warned you things might have turned out a little bit differently. So, you thought you mind give him a taste of his own medicine. Which is how you ended up sitting with Hoseok in the change rooms after the performance. Ignoring Jimin. Who had full well expected a veryyyy different reaction, consisting of you crash tackling him as soon as he came off stage but nope he just received the cold shoulder and a little green monster of his own.

He watched silently, eyes sharp and glaring at Hoseok who had just made you laugh. Again. For the fifth time this minute. To say he was irritated would be putting it nicely, he finally reached his tipping point when Jungkook walked over and asked if you were coming out for drinks with them afterwards. Your answer should have been no, because you and Jimin had plans. The two of you were supposed to go back to your apartment after the performance but that was clearly no longer happening as you nodded your head excitedly, a grin spreading across your face.

It is safe to assume that that was his tipping point. Marching over to you, yanking you by your arm to your feet and dragging you through the door.

I’m not gonna have many STRICT rules but I do have a few things that I am firm  on. 

I WILL NOT write smuts. - I might imply it somewhere but I won’t ever out right write it. Maybe someday in the future but it isn’t something that at present I am comfortable with. 

I WILL NOT write member x member purely because I don’t want to misrepresent something and then unintentionally offend someone. 

I WILL write for any one -  If you would like me to write for someone I will, but if I don’t know much about them it just might take me a little longer because I will have do some research. 

Unless specifically requested I will write EXO Ot9 in requests, because I am currently in year 12 and I have very limited time to write as is. 

I WILL write Ot12 EXO, if requested. 

AS I AM CURRENTLY IN YEAR 12 AND AM ABOUT TO SIT MY HSC EXAMS (for non-Aussies they are the Australian equivalent of SAT’s and from what I’ve read are supposedly harder than the SAT’s so please bare with me) POSTING WILL BE IRREGULAR AND PROBABLY RARE BUT I AM TRYING TO WRITE ALL MY REQUESTS SO PLEASE BE PATIENT I WILL HAVE THEM POSTED EVENTUALLY. ❤️❤️❤️
