Merry Whump of May - Day 1
(The Man From U.N.C.L.E. 2015)
@themerrywhumpofmay
“You should not be here.”
This was the first thing that Solo said to Illya in two weeks.
“Too bad.” Illya whispered and finished uncuffing Solo from the metal chair. The dim bulb above made it hard to parse Solo’s expression, as did the bruises.
“You should have left.” Solo stood slowly, arm wrapped around his chest. He leaned over and spat dark blood on the floor before speaking again. “Why didn’t they bring you in?”
Illya jerked his head towards the door, holding out a pistol.
Solo took it.
Illya took the lead and left the room. “They tried.”
He heard Solo wheeze out a laugh softly behind him.
They finally got outside and Illya led the way to the first car he spotted, halfway down the street from the warehouse. It was unlocked. But no keys.
While Illya hotwired the vehicle, Solo eased himself into the passenger seat, groaning in pain.
The engine rumbled into life.
Illya slammed the door closed and caught sight of Solo’s face. His head was back against the headrest and his brows were furrowed. The harsh light of day brought the bruises into sharp relief. Yellowing greenish contusions that were healing. And darker, reddish purple for newer ones.
Illya gripped the steering wheel hard and set his foot against the gas. “Are you ready?”
“No.”
“Good.”
They sped off into the sunset.
An hour later, sun down and surrounded by dark trees, Illya pulled the car to the side of the road.
“We have arrived at milepost-” Illya turned and noticed his companion was asleep. “Solo.”
No answer.
Illya reached out and just barely touched his shoulder when Solo gasped awake. He pressed as far away from Illya as the car door would allow.
“Solo.” Illya retracted his hand and filed that reaction away for later.
“Y-yes.” Solo relaxed a little. “What?”
“We have arrived at milepost 8. This is where we start walking.”
Solo sighed. “That sounds like the last thing I want to do.” His voice was hoarse.
Illya left the car and circled around to Solo’s door and opened it. “Too bad.”
Solo unfolded himself gingerly from the car. “Where-” He stopped to breathe. “Are we going?”
“Remote cabin.” Illya retrieved two bags from the side of the road from underneath some bushes, damp with dusk dew.
Solo limped over and took the map, compass, and bag Illya held out to him. “How remote?”
“We will arrive by dawn if we make good time.”
Solo swore, coughed, and swore again as he slung the bag over his shoulders.
Illya paused for a moment and looked his partner up and down.
“What?” Solo asked. Hunched over. Already panting.
“Can you?”
“Can I what?”
“Make good time?”
Solo straightened up immediately. Even in the darkness of night, Illya could see his jaw was set. Eyes gleaming.
“No pain, no gain.” Solo grated out.
“That does not make any sense. Follow me.” Illya led the way into the dark trees.
A few hours later, Illya stopped and waited for Solo to catch up. “Water.”
Panting, Solo nodded.
They both drank from the canteens in the bags and caught their breath. The forest was thick with trees and brush and the hillsides were steep with slippery pine needles and rocks. It was slow going. Slower than Illya had hoped. But it could not be helped.
He watched his partner take out the map and compass.
“Flashlight?” Solo wheezed.
Illya stepped over and flicked on his flashlight.
Solo took a small step back, map shaking in his hands.
“Th-this is the location?” He pointed at a small pen mark in the middle of the map.
Illya stopped where he was. “Yes.”
“Right.” Solo sighed, held the compass into the flashlight’s beam, turned a pace or two to the right. “We need to be going this way.”
“We should take a break.” Illya did not want to push Solo too hard. The way he was favoring his chest suggested a broken rib. Or more. And that could not be all. The point of rescuing Solo was not to kill him in the process.
“Sit down.” Illya urged his partner.
“No.” Solo pocketed the compass and map again. “Sorry, but if I do that, I won’t get up again. We keep moving. Unless, you need a break?”
It was dark but Illya could hear a little smile in Solo’s last words. At least he felt well enough to needle Illya.
“We keep moving.” Illya agreed.
The first tatters of dawn were showing when they reached the cabin. They were cold and damp from a mist that had settled into hills. Feet wet from fording a few streams. They trudged inside. It was bare bones. Cool and musty. A fireplace. A table. Kitchen sink. Bed in the corner.
“This is honestly worse than the warehouse.” Solo drawled, panting. He dropped his bag to the creaking wooden floor planks.
“Be grateful.” Illya sniffed and set down his pack on the rough table. “You are safe here.”
“Yes, safe from a hot bath.”
“There is a gas generator and well-water. This is better than most hotels.” Illya dryly said.
Solo edged closer to the kitchen windows and stripped off his jacket and damp shirt slowly and painfully.
Illya stayed across the cabin, despite how much he wanted to help.
Finally free of the shirt, Solo let it drop to the floor and looked down at his torso. In the dim dawn light from the grimy windows, Illya could see a mess of mottled bruises, the worst of it dark like thunderclouds over Solo’s ribs.
Illya realized Solo was falling before Solo did.
A brief moment. A sway. Eyes glazed. Eyelids fluttering.
Illya strode across the cabin and caught Solo as he went down, head hanging limply. The heat coming off Solo’s body was concerning. And he was slick with sweat.
Solo’s faint only lasted a moment.
He began to thrash in Illya’s arms, pushing away. Frantic. A rough sob tore from his throat.
“Stop.” Solo’s voice was barely a whisper. “Don’t.”
Illya did not drop Solo to the floor but lowered him as carefully as he could as Solo struggled. And then he backed away.
“Sorry.” He muttered.
Solo propped himself against the kitchen cabinets, panting, eyes wide and wet. Tears threatened to fall.
“Sorry.” Solo coughed. “I don’t-”
“It is fine.” Illya cut him off. “They beat you. I know. I am sorry.”
Solo just breathed and shook then closed his eyes. “Yes.”
“You are safe now.” Illya knew there wasn’t anything he could say that would fix this. But he tried. “You rest. I keep watch. I will keep you safe.”
A few tears hit the wood floor, soft sounds, the only sound.
“Thanks, Peril.”

hihi reddit's mogai peeps, welcome to mogaiblr, here's a (not so) small guide by your host Vivian to help you grow accustomed to this place.
press the read more/keep reading thingy to continue, dont worry, it dont bite!
general tumblr etiquette
tag your stuff, they wont be seen otherwise.
do not crosstag (tag a group youre complaining about), or tag unrelated stuff
reblog, reblog, reblog! if you see a post that interests you, reblog! this is super important as there is no algorithm and all the like button does is basically save the post for later
tag triggering things!! [thing] tw or [thing] cw should suffice, dont tag every possible version of a trigger, you only have 30 tag slots, it's the reader's responsibility to block all possible tags as theres no limit on blocked tags. I suggest trigger tagging after the 20th tag as tags after the 20th one dont show up on search (stupid I know) but still gets blocked okay
get a profile photo as soon as possible, this site has a massive bot problem and if youre thought to be one you will be blocked without hesitation
if youre on pc, I highly recommend you get xkit, its a browser extension that helps a lot with your tumblr experience
these are the basics, these have been talked about over and over with twitter refugees as well so I wont drabble on them too much
mogaiblr etiquette
1: keep in mind the intersectionality
the mogai tumblr community has a lot of overlap with other communities, namely the disabled community, nonhuman community and plural community. respect them, and listen to them, for they are your allies. you will see the overlapping community get referred to as "LIOM" a lot (like in my username), it stands for labels, identities and other minorities and is meant to be an all encompassing umbrella.
2: make your posts accessible
as I just said, theres a lot of disabled people in this community, so its important to make your posts as accessible as possible. I will talk more on this later
3: dont be afraid to ask individual blogs
there is no subreddit posting system, and if you just post a general question you likely wont get any answers, if you get seen at all, so dont shy away from asking individual blogs about stuff, if their asks are open, it means they WANT you to talk with them and ask them stuff, so never view it as bothering them. the askbox doesnt always say "asks" and similar stuff though due to being customizable, so just know its the little button to the left of the follow button.
4: check pinned posts
pinned posts are posts that are pinned on top of a persons blog, when you open someones blog, theyll be the first post to be seen upon scrolling down. a lot of people use these to introduce themselves, set boundaries, give request rules, talk about availability, etc. so its important to read these through whenever possible.
more on accessibility
1: image descriptions!!!
its basically where you describe the image, as the name suggests, tumblr has an alt. text function for it but it doesnt always work so little [boxes like this] right under the image is ideal for most, yes it makes it look less pretty, but is your aesthetic worth more than someone whos visually impaired not being able to understand the post? trust me no one cares if your posts are pretty or not. anyway, the ideal way to know how to describe an image is pretend youre explaining it out loud to someone across from you, who cant look at your screen for whatever reason.
2: plain text!
yes, tumblr has a lot of cool text features (like bold or italic, or even colored [PT: like bold, italic, or even colored. end PT]) but this is, again, unfortunately inaccessible, due to tumblr being a broken website it often doesnt register formatted text for screenreaders, plus it can be hard to navigate for people with disabilities even without a visual disability. this goes for fancy text and symbols as well (like stars emoticons or a cursive text font). so you have two options, offer a plain text alternative or dont format text at all. offering plain text can be done in the same way as image IDs (theres even an example above).
3: eyestrain
bright colors are awesome, trust me, Id know, but not everyone can view them properly without a migraine or even worse, a seizure. so its important to tag your posts with eyestrain if you decide to make a brightly colored flag, or even better, do your best to make the flag accessible instead, with slightly duller colors with more (or less depending on the flag) contrast. it doesnt make your flag as ugly as youd think, trust me ^^
4: availability cant do one or more of the things mentioned above for any reasons? dont fret! theres blogs out there that can help you, most of them do this out on their own accord.
currently the most active ones are @plaintextpro , @accessmogai and @transflorall (my blog hehe), who specialize in plain text, image descriptions and eyestrain-help respectively
thats about it that I can think of!!! thank you for reading, and if theres anything you'd like to add, dont be afraid to!

hello!!! i've just deleted my twitter. life is good and free and i am finally at peace :)
if you're a mutual from twitter: HELLO!!! welcome to tumblr! (or not, i know some of you guys have visited hell before). this is my blog where i sometimes post my thoughts -- but mostly reblog the thoughts of others. for the newcomers: reblogging is fun, and you should do it right now with this post by clicking the two arrows sign! it's easy and free and you can always unsubscribe later (sorry for that reference...). once you've reblogged something, the two arrows sign will turn green.
tumblr is not driven by likes the way twitter is, so liking a post really won't do anything. instead, it's what you reblog that makes the real difference. so if you like a post on here, your tumblr mutuals will not be able to see it on their dash! they'll only get it on their dash if you reblog it.
for added effect, you can use the tags option at the bottom of a post! (it'll say something along the lines of: 'add tags to help people find your post'). you can add popular tumblr hashtags here so that more people can see your post... OR you can adopt some of the local tumblr etiquette of rambling and spilling your thoughts there too! (1)
BY THE WAY: you can format text differently on tumblr! so you can italicize, bold, underline, etc. on here. And there's a huge character limit! (according to the tumblr help center, you can fit one third of Moby Dick in one tumblr post! pretty nifty!)
be sure to use tumblr etiquette! the phrase 'tumblr etiquette' might sound gatekeepy, but rest assured! tumblr etiquette is used by many bloggers here to help make the blogging experience as "pleasant" as possible. (i put pleasant in quotes because sometimes people say things on here that deal you irreversible emotional damage. truly, you don't get this anywhere else). the general rule of thumb here is: IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T INTERACT!!! Block and move on. you'll find that tumblr drama really isn't a thing here because of this principle. live by it, die by it, blog by it!
for me personally, I'm trying to keep this blog as impersonal as possible for privacy reasons (since this is a public blog), so if you want to chat, say hi, or talk about life i suggest you use the messages feature! i'm always down to chat over messages! :)
other than that, nothing else comes to mind. have fun on this atrocious hellsite and happy blogging! love you guys <3
#(1): like so! i am now using the tags to talk to you! in this case im using them as footnotes.#(1)-cotd: just note that there IS a character limit on tags! they can be no more than 140 characters :) and also you can't use commas#(1)-cotd: the comma situation is weird. apparently it closes the tag which is super annoying >:/#(1)-cotd: (i promise this is the last one) you can reblog a post without block text and just tags! tags are your friends! use them wisely!#tumblr etiquette#tumblr#twitter users

o1. 𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋. common etiquette applies: BE RESPECTFUL! that’s pretty much all i ask for. as mentioned above i’m LOW ACTIVITY and won’t be super present. i will always reply, sooner or later, but expect long times! i’m NON-MUTUAL FRIENDLY, but i do tend to be a little selective with who i roleplay with. remember that MUN AND MUSES ARE DIFFERENT PEOPLE, and what they think or do might not reflect what i would think or do.
o2. 𝐈𝐍𝐁𝐎𝐗 & 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐓𝐒. the prompts lists i reblog NEVER EXPIRE, and you don’t have a cap on how many you can send me! SEND AS MANY AND AS OFTEN AS YOU WISH, regardless of how “old” the list is, with or without plotting! any questions are always welcome, both ic and ooc! just please make it clear if you’re talking to me or my muses, especially if you’re going for a heavy hitting question or statement.
o3. 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐒. my turns usually get really long: i tend to write multi-para and novella, and often don’t use any icon and minimal formatting. DON’T WORRY ABOUT MATCHING MY LENGTH OR STYLE. write as much as you like, being it more or less than me, and use any graphic you wish, i have no problems at all! i only ask you to write at least enough for me to work with on my next turn, so a couple of lines at least, and to keep the formatting readable. IF I NEED TO MODIFY ANYTHING, LET ME KNOW! i have no problems in modifying or straight up rewriting a turn. i’m open to roleplay pretty much anything, from the light and fun ideas to extremely delicate and dark topics, but i’m not interested in smut, as it makes me extremely uncomfortable.
o4. 𝐏𝐋𝐎𝐓𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆. i don’t require it for us to roleplay, but I ADORE IT! from pre-established relationships to entire plots to develop and roleplay together, if you have an idea, throw it at me! i’m open to have multiple plots with each character, and even with the same person: if there is something i love roleplaying for, is to see how differently things can evolve based on circumstances! basically, i just enjoy putting together ideas and writing, haha. so never fear of throwing ideas at me, i have never enough of them!
o5. 𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄. while it is not a main focus for me, i easily get invested in ships and enjoy writing them! I GLADLY EXPLORE ALMOST ANY KIND OF SHIPS, unrequited and one night stands included. for toxic relationships i INSIST we plot it beforehand, and set our boundaries before writing absolutely anything about it. i ship characters that have some alchemy and am a big fan of slow-burns, unfortunately for me, so those are the ones that i’ll prefer. I’M NOT INTERESTED IN THE CHEATER TROPE, SO ANY NEW SHIP WILL BE IN ITS OWN TIMELINE. i do roleplay some suggestive but am highly selective with who i write it with. SMUT MAKES ME EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE, so i avoid it entirely.
𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐒. avatar is an official decidueye sprite from the games. decidueye pixel art in header by ahruon. art in header and dividers by melissa lee on art station. edits by me.

˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗Rules˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗
Without exception, our players should enjoy role playing with the understanding that all members interact according to these rules. They have been written with everyone’s enjoyment and comfort in mind. These rules are expected to be honored in all spaces of Throughline; Tumblr, Discord, and Google Docs. If you have any questions or would like to suggest ideas, please do not hesitate to reach out..
You must be over 18 : This roleplay will explore mature themes that will not be suitable for anyone younger than 18. It is important that all members feel that they can interact with everyone else, without having to make exceptions or adjustments.
Sensitive content : Please read the triggers list and diligently tag any sensitive content with the correct warnings. Due to the long form format of how threads are posted, all threads must be placed under a readmore with triggers listed. Please utilize the form at the top of the thread post to give specific but brief warnings for sensitive content. It is always better to tag content that may be triggering than not to, if you are ever unsure. Any additions to the triggers list are welcome and requests will be facilitated privately.
Activity : Throughline encourages players to eagerly prospect their character’s development and seeks members that are willing to proactively connect with others to explore engaging dynamics and plot. Your activity will be taken into consideration whenever applying for additional characters, or requesting to change characters.
Application review : once an application has been posted as received, Throughline will review and accept within 24 hours.
Once accepted : You will have 24 hours to provide your account information. Once you have sent in your account, you will be given access to the group discord server.
Thread development + follow up : Since Throughline utilizes multiple web spaces to create the best experience possible, it is not as simple as checking when a member last posted a thread. Since threads could take much longer than average post by reblog role playing, activity on Throughline will be watched on a holistic basis. If you have been inactive or unresponsive for over two weeks, you will be contacted. Failure to respond to this check within 24 hours will result in your character being reopened.
Group Etiquette : Throughline endeavors to facilitate a socially aware and safe space for all people. Any interactions outside of character writing must remain respectful and inclusive. Anything less will not be tolerated. This includes the following:
Do not pressure members : As long as each player has met the activity requirements of Throughline, there is no further appropriate expectation upon them. Do not message players asking where they are, when they will be online, hint that you want them to reply, or guilt anyone for their activity level. Throughline encourages deeply exploring character development and connections, and fully supports creating strong narratives and relationships with other players. If your writing partner has not been forthcoming on why their activity has changed, please respect that. While each relationship has different boundaries depending on the individual, be sensitive to what is playful or innocent, and what can be seen as passive aggressive behavior.
Do not pressure character dynamics : Regardless if a desired character relationship is canon or not, no member is entitled to anyone else’s character. Character relationships of any kind must be proposed and discussed respectfully and without expectation or assumption. If a member is unwilling to explore a plot or connection, do not push them to answer questions about why or offer explanations that have not been given freely. Any member is entirely within their right to say no to a plot or connection that does not spark their inspiration or fit their interpretation of that character.
If there is a problem, reach out: The last thing any player should feel is unable to speak to any concerns they have, whether it's an in character issue or out of character issue. You will always be listened to and supported with the intention of keeping everything fair and making sure every player feels supported.
God Modding and Major Plots: It is important to make sure the group has a clear understanding of what you’re planning to write that may affect outside characters. Please check in the mods as well as players and make sure any assumptions or important changes you make are agreed upon. Not only is this best practice for making sure involved players are comfortable with how it will affect their characters, it is also great inspiration for players to build from.

Hey, everybody!
So, I've been seeing quite a few posts about people having an interest in RPing. I thought I'd write a quick little guide to help those interested get started! This is not, by any means, an exhaustive guide. Nor is it rules. It's guidelines, folks, so you can take and ignore whatever you want. It's mostly just to cover the sort of etiquette that has developed within the roleplay community over the decades.
First, it's a good idea to choose a character you feel connected to or have a deep interest in writing. That might be a canon character (someone who actually exists in the media, i.e. Travis, Jacob, Ryan, Emma from The Quarry), or an original character (OC) who does not exist in the media but who you develop yourself. Canons do tend to get more love in the roleplay universe, but there are writers out there who are happy to write with OCs, too.
Second, once you've decided on a character, it's time to make a blog! Most RPers won't write with you if you're writing on a personal blog. It tends to be a personal preference. I don't care, myself, but if you want to make headway in a fandom, then you might want to consider making a sideblog, at the very least, for your character.
Third, the trickiest part is finding people to write with. Fandoms ebb and flow with activity as time goes on. Old fans leave and new fans discover it and join. You can search Tumblr tags for a particular RP fandom (i.e. "Quarry RP") or look through the various tumblrs devoted to RP hunting and requests. You can even submit your own requests.
Four, after you found a few blogs, it's a good idea to check their tumblr for rules. Some people will make a pinned post (people who are much better at tumblring than me, for example) while others will have a link to the rules post on their actual tumblr profile. Look them over and make sure you're a good fit for that person. A lot of adult writers, for example, will not write with writers who are under the age of 21 or 18.
Five, if the rules check out, then it's time to make contact. First, follow the blog and wait for them to follow you back. If you get a follow, then that's a sign that they have an interest in writing with you. This is where having your own blog for your character helps. Most writers won't follow back personal blogs.
Six, if you get a follow back, then it's time to discuss plots. There are usually two methods for this. The easiest is to simply send them a message. Let them know you're interested, see if they want an interaction, too, and if you really want to show them you're motivated, perhaps suggest a few possible storylines. Nothing too involved, just basic ideas. If they say no or don't respond, then try not to take it personally. There are some characters that just don't interact well with other characters in the sense that it can be difficult to think of organic interactions that they might share. The other way is to send them a prompt or meme through their Asks. Double-check the rules to ensure they're okay receiving those without prior interaction.
Seven, after you've plotted, it's a good idea to determine who is going to write the starter. For some plots, it might more sense for one character to start things off than the other. If the other writer tends to be busy, and you're not, then you can also always volunteer to write one. Often, the hardest part of getting a story going is simply starting it.
Eight, when it comes to formatting, Tumblr is the wild west. You'll find most veteran writers formatting their posts in some way. They'll pretty up the text and use some stylized icons. You can do as little or as much formatting as you want. I keep things pretty basic because I just don't have the time or energy to devote to making my posts look aesthetically pleasing. You're more than welcome to make yours as gorgeous or as plain as you want. Most writers tend to care about the quality of the writing over how pretty it looks.
Nine, and that brings us to quality. Writers all have their own standards. I'm old and I've been writing for almost two decades now, so my standards tend to be on the higher side. Others are a lot more lax. And some have standards even higher than myself. The quality of a post comes down to a few things. The first is authenticity of the character you're portraying. If you're doing things wildly out of character for no reason, then that can be jarring. Secondly, is how well you engage the other character. For example, the best writers tend to be able to give something for the other writer to build on. It may not be possible for every post, but in most cases, if you're only giving one-worded sentences that don't drive the action, then you're making it harder for the other character to interact with you. What's keeping them from just having their character walk away from yours, for example? Thirdly, grammar. As a professional writer, I tend to be a grammar whore (although typos are totally fine, I do them all the time). How a person formats their posts might interfere with some rules of grammar. For example, it's standard practice to write dialogue with double quotation marks, but some writers might use single quotation marks because of how they want to format their posts. That's totally fine. If English isn't your first language or you struggle to write well, then I have the trick for you. Chat GPT. Get a free account, copy and paste your reply in it, and then ask it to edit the post for you. You have yourself a--mostly--error-free reply!
Ten, have fun. Roleplaying is two-parts fun. The first is interacting with others but the other is really developing your character yourself. Think of headcanons, develop playlists (both songs ABOUT your character and songs they might listen to themselves), write little ficlets, read fanfiction, explore fanart, and just enjoy who you're writing.
If you have questions, feel free to hit me up! As always, this is just guidelines! Take what you will and enjoy this lovely bit of escapism with the rest of us.

if we’re mutuals, i’m open to interacting, so please feel free to send asks (prompts never expire), interact with my ooc and headcanon posts, or reach out via dms to plot or just chat. i appreciate this sort of interaction because i’m shy and find it difficult to initiate conversations with new followers without “permission.” ‣ i am duplicate, oc, au, and crossover friendly! non-rp blogs dni (unless that’s how you follow/follow back, in which case, please let me know!) ‣ i’m not comfortable following anyone who is under the age of 21. if you don’t have an age or age range listed somewhere visible on your blog, i won’t follow/follow back. ‣ if after a few months of following, you show no interest in writing with me or at least interacting ooc to some degree, i may unfollow/softblock you just to keep my dash focused on people i’m actively communicating with. you’re welcome to reach out/refollow if you’d like to try again! ‣ if for any reason, you decide you no longer want to be mutuals, feel free to soft block me. there won’t be any hard feelings.
03. | writing
‣ i am a novella writer. on average, my replies range from 3 to 5 paragraphs (200-600 words), but i don’t expect anyone to match. write what feels right for the scene. quality is always more important than quantity. ‣ my formatting is limited to small text, bolded dialogue, and stylistic italics. i don’t use icons. if you need me to use regular sized text for our threads, i’m happy to do so! ‣ i don’t ever rush my own writing, nor will i rush you to get replies to me. writing is a hobby, and i don’t like adding anxiety into the mix. thread replies, asks, and any other things of this nature have no experiation dates. if you’re struck with inspiration to respond to something six months after i wrote it, please feel free to do so. i guarantee i’ll be thrilled to receive an unexpected reply. ‣ that said, i have a tendency to respond much faster to threads/asks from people who communicate with me ooc. i don’t need to plot out entire threads or anything, but i value ooc communication with my rp partners and find a lot of joy in discussing characters/ideas.
04. | shipping/dynamics
i’m happy to explore all kinds of dynamics from romantic to platonic to familial to antagonistic! as of now, i’m multiship and don’t currently practice ship exclusivity. ‣ for romantic dynamics, i require a decent amount of ooc communication, especially since some of my muses can be difficult to ship with for various reasons. ‣ it’s very rare that i will do pre-established relationships with ocs. because i can’t get to know them via canon, i want to get to know them through rp, so exploring the development of the relationship through threads is really important. ‣ kiss ask prompts and the like are a good “what if” scenario that i’m willing to write even if we haven’t established/discussed a ship, but i may not want to expand it into a thread without discussing ooc. ‣ i am also willing to explore one-sided crushes, unrequited love, or relationships that don’t work out if that’s something you’re interested in. ‣ any nsfw content (ic or headcanons) will be tagged ‘tw suggestive’ and will be under the cut.
05. | etiquette
‣ any transphobia, homophobia, racism, zionism, antisemitism, or other bigotry will lead to an immediate hard block. ‣ i don’t engage in mun drama or callouts, and frequent passive aggressive or vague posting about other blogs might lead to a soft block. if you have a serious concern about someone i follow (ie they’re a real threat offline), please reach out privately so you and i can discuss things like adults.

Etiquette and Fair Play in Online Rummy: Rules for Better Gameplay
Etiquette and Fair Play in Rummy: A Guide to Sportsmanship
In online gaming, where competition can often be fierce and stakes are high, maintaining sportsmanship and fair play is paramount. This holds especially true for games like rummy, a classic card game that combines skill, strategy, and social interaction.
In this blog, let’s explore the essential etiquette and fair play rummy rules that every rummy player should follow. By adhering to rummy rules, you not only improve your gaming experience but also contribute to a positive and respectful community.
Importance of Etiquette and Fair Play in Online Rummy
Sportsmanship and fair play go hand in hand, not only in rummy but in all competitive activities. In the context of rummy, these principles create an environment where players can enjoy the game while treating each other with respect and integrity.
Let's dive into some key aspects of etiquette and fair play that should guide your interactions and actions while playing rummy.
Respect Your Opponents
One of the foundational principles of sportsmanship is showing respect to your opponents. Regardless of the outcome, treat your opponents with courtesy and politeness.
Avoid taunting, gloating, or making disrespectful comments, even when you get amazing rummy cards or are winning. Remember, behind every screen is a fellow enthusiast seeking enjoyment just like you.
Maintain a Positive Attitude
Maintaining a positive attitude is crucial in promoting a healthy gaming environment. Whether you are facing a losing streak or dealing with a challenging hand, stay composed and optimistic.
Negative comments or complaints not only affect your own experience but can also impact the morale of your opponents.
Follow the Rummy Rules
Adhering to the rules of the game is the cornerstone of fair play.
Cheating, exploiting glitches, or using unethical strategies not only ruin the experience for others but also diminish the sense of accomplishment that comes from genuine victories. Playing by the rules demonstrates your commitment to fair competition.
Give Your Best Effort
Every game is an opportunity to test your skills and improve your gameplay. Regardless of the outcome, always strive to give your best effort.
Playing half-heartedly or intentionally making poor moves to manipulate the game's dynamics is unfair to both you and your opponents. If you are a beginner, we suggest you learn how to play rummy and follow the tips & tricks before you start playing cash games.
Avoid Slow Play
In modern rummy, slow play can be frustrating for opponents and disrupt the flow of the game. Be mindful of your pace and avoid excessive delays between moves.
If you need to take a break, consider using the designated break periods or opt for formats that allow more flexible time limits.
Be a Gracious Winner and Loser
Winning and losing are both essential parts of any card game. When you win, celebrate your victory with humility and grace. When you lose, accept the outcome with dignity.
Congratulate your opponents on their successes and avoid making excuses or blaming external factors for your losses.
Engage in Constructive Communication
RummyPrimes has a chat feature that enables communication between players. Use this feature to engage in friendly conversations, share insights, or discuss strategies. However, always ensure your communication remains respectful and positive. Avoid engaging in arguments or using offensive language.
Support Beginners
The rummy community thrives when players help newcomers feel welcome and encourage their growth.
If you are an experienced player, offer guidance and advice to those who are new to the game. Encourage them to learn the rules, practice, and enjoy the journey of improvement.
Report Misconduct
If you encounter players who consistently engage in disrespectful behavior, cheating, or any other form of misconduct, utilize the reporting feature provided on the RummyPrimes app.
Reporting such incidents helps maintain a safe and respectful gaming environment for everyone.
Conclusion
Etiquette and fair play are the cornerstones of a thriving rummy community. By adhering to these principles, you not only enhance your gaming experience but also contribute to a positive and respectful environment for all players.
Remember that rummy is not just about winning; it's about enjoying the game, improving your skills, and forming connections with fellow enthusiasts.
Treat every opponent with respect, play with integrity, embrace the fellowship that comes with a shared love for rummy, and get your Game On.

RULES.
i have no password for this or any of my blogs, however i will send in passwords or like posts to show proof i have read your rules if you require it.
my rules are nonnegotiable, and i expect people to follow them. but i won’t make a big deal out of anyone accidentally breaking them, especially for smaller issues!
GENERAL.
>>Discrimination. I will not tolerate any kinds of LGBTQ+phobia, hatespeech against religion, racism, or anything else similar. RESPECTFUL discussions of these topics are okay, and will be trigger tagged appropriately if they occur.
>>Content Warnings. Topics of death, gore, mental health issues, violence and other similar themes will appear on this blog. All will be tagged appropriately. Suggestive content may also appear, but explicit sexual content will not appear on this blog, I have a sideblog for that which, if you are an adult, I will DM the url to you if requested. Anything of that nature will either be faded to black, or moved to that sideblog.
>>Trigger Tagging. I tag things as ‘x tw’, for example, ‘gore tw’. I do not require anything to be tagged for myself, but if you have something, please let me know!
>>Who I Will Follow. I will most likely follow if you have a rules page and muse page listed (with exception for canons that I already know well). I will not follow personals, but you are welcome to follow and send in asks, but please do NOT reblog my posts. I will not follow you if you regularly vaguepost about people.
>>Drama. I do not want to be involved in any drama. Do not drag me or my mutuals into it, if you have an issue with me, please DM me privately, I will do the same if I have an issue with anything you do.
>>Discord. I will give out my Discord if requested! I’m happy to write there or talk there OOC if you would prefer.
ROLEPLAY.
>>Standard Stuff. Don’t act like your muse is invincible, don’t take control of my muses unless it’s small (e.g. moving chars to a different location) or you have gotten permission, don’t take meta knowledge and act like your character would know it when they shouldn’t, etc. General etiquette stuff. My muses are NOT me, just as I am not my muses, I do not share the same beliefs as my muses, don’t take it personally if my muse if mean to yours.
>>Shipping. All of my muses are available to ship with, so long as you respect their sexualities, preferences and relationships that already exist. I also prefer to discuss shipping beforehand, at least a little to see if our muses would be compatible or have an interesting dynamic.
>>Exclusivity. I do not practice ship exclusivity. However, I may have mains.
>>Formatting & Style. I prefer to use smalltext when writing posts, but I will generally match whatever you do. I will also use italics and bolding. I write in third person, present tense, and will not change this unless it is a big issue, I don’t mind what you write so long as it is understandable to me.
>>AUs. I love AUs, I have so many of them, and will absolutely be happy to talk about any ideas that you have.
>>Crossovers. I am also happy to write crossovers, so long as I know the source material that your muse is from, or you can explain it to me.
>>Asks & Magic Anons. My askbox is always open, and I will accept asks from ask memes regardless of how old they are (unless you’ve specifically clicked onto an ask I have answered and I’ve said I don’t want any more of those). However I may periodically clean out my askbox so things don’t pile up. I will also accept magic anons, though I reserve the right to reject any effects I don’t want to happen.

SMALL TOWN DREAMS TO BIG TIME SUCCESS: BUILDING A BUSINESS WITH HEART
June 11, 2024
Welcome back to the boutique chat podcast! Today’s conversation promises to be an enlightening one as we delve into the journey of Safna Sahir, a successful boutique owner hailing from small-town Trivandrum. Join us and uncover the insights and strategies that have fueled fashion boutique business growth and positioned her as a standout entrepreneur in her community.
With fashion businesses recognizing the benefits that blogging can bring to their websites, it’s understandable that many are rushing to create their own blogs. There is no shortage of potential blog post topics to select from, and a fashion blog is not only cheaper than traditional advertising, but i can have greater reach as well.
Fashion is an ever changing subject that can give rise to new trends overnight,so fashion aficionados will be looking for blogs with daily updates of expert insights, creative guides, and general news regarding what is currently stylish.
The spark of inspiration
The idea to open her boutique was sparked by a chance encounter while shopping with her family. Prompted by her salon owner’s suggestion , Safna Sahir took the leap and turned her dream into reality. With a background in fashion and a determination to succeed,She embarked on the journey of entrepreneurship with enthusiasm and dedication.
These are some useful fashion blog topics can write about:
Outfit of the Day.
Fashion blogs should focus on topics that readers will find immediately useful, and that means blog posts that give creative ideas on what to wear for any given day will be popular among readers.
Expensive look & A budget.
Give tips to your readers on how to get the most out of their money so that they can look good without breaking the bank. Be sure to also mention the drawbacks that can occur when choosing to buy clothes from un reputable sources when looking for something cheap.
Wardrobe items that see the most use.
Going over items that are particularly versatile and therefore worn more often can be a fun read for readers. This can be done in a list format to simplify the blog post.
Wardrobe items that see the least use.
Talk about fashion items that may not see a lot of use for any particular factor. You can add a creative idea on how to use that item so that it sees more use.
Wardrobe tour.
Fashion can be very personal,so showing your readers an individual’s wardrobe can be very interesting to your readers.
How to style outfits yourself.
As the amount of clothing available to people increases, more people are looking for ways to style the clothes they already own into proper outfits. Explain how to style clothes and what to look out for when matching items.
How to dress for a wedding.
Weddings are very important events, and nobody wants to be the one that wore something inappropriate,so readers will find a blog post that explains the rules for wedding attire useful.
How to dress for formal events.
While normally not as important as a wedding, formal events can leave people unsure if they are following social etiquette with their attire. A post going over the minute details of these guidelines will be informative.
How styles have evolved.
Talking about current styles that have transformed since their inception can be interesting for readers that are unaware of the history behind their favourite outfits.
Finding your personal style.
Some people are looking for the style that suits them the most rather than a style they already know, a post that explains the things that they should be looking out for would be popular among readers. Explain how colours, body type, and personal likes can impact a person's style.
How to style jeans.
Jeans are arguably the most versatile article of clothing and so there are countless ways to style them. This type of post should go over how to make denim stand out in an outfit.
How to style specific trends.
Creative guides that help people navigate new trends will always be welcome and instil readers with the need to check back on your blog regularly to stay up to date on these tips.
Recreate celebrity looks.
Posts that serve as a guide to recreate a famous look that was seen on a celebrity or in a movie will be well- received and a fun read for fans.
Fashion fails.
Talk about well-known fashion fails that are somewhat humorous and act as a lesson for readers. You can also talk about fashion fails that people unwittingly commit. visit our website http://orchid.rf.gd/

an independent, mutuals only 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐰 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐲 from n*tfix's bridgerton/queen charlotte series. headcanon & show based. canon divergent. low activity, 21+, minors dni. written by starlette.

psds used: show yourself by jaynedits & psd 001: Anti-whitewashing by evansyhelp
also at : acharnemcnt & inebranlabl
& RULES
i. hello and welcome! this is a mutuals only blog. i have a busy work schedule so i tend to be low to medium activity. thus reply time will vary. just fyi: i will not follow back if you blog does not have rules or an age/age range.
ii. this blog is 21+. this blog will contain mature themes & potentially spicy implications. please follow at your discretions. minors do not interact. all nsfw posts will be tagged with "cw: suggestive". and any violent/gruesome/triggering content that may appear will be tagged, though these themes are less likely.
iii. standard rp etiquette applies. please do not godmod or metagame. be kind to one another. i don't not support call outs or petty drama. i will block anyone who is racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, etc & anyone who writes taboo topics. i will not follow people who write whitewashed muses.
iv. everyone gets two freebies when it comes to turning memes into threads. after you've used your two, then please ask before turning a meme response into a thread. i don't mind! i just like to manage my thread count. i use small text. sometimes i used icons, other times i do not. but i don't expect my mutuals to format.
v. i love ships of all types! but i like to plot a bit before shipping romantically, just to establish chemistry between the characters and to make sure i vibe with the other writer.( i portray brimsley as gay, as stated in the novels. ) and i do ship reynolds & brimsley but i will not assume the ship. i am also open to other ships! please don't force ships & i will do the same. feel free to ask if you think there is potential. the worst thing that will happen is i will suggest another dynamic.
vi. i don't mind winging it, especially when getting to know new muses or writers. but i am more plot oriented. i like to write with all my mutuals & will send memes, like starter calls or reach out to plot if i follow first. if you have followed first and have not interacted in a week, i will reach out/interact. if i have attempted to interact and there is no reciprocation in over a month ( unless you are on hiatus ), i will soft block. you may refollow but i will expect you to initiate interaction this time.

For ur classpecting, is there any specific questions u want us to answer or do u want us to go ham with what we decide to tell you
๑ Classpect assignment etiquette ๑
if you are new here, welcome. in this blog i cover classpect assigning, among other things, which you can view in my pinned. i will not be explaining what classpects *are* in this post, perhaps i will make an entry for them in the future. if you are unfamiliar with classes and aspects i suggest seeking information elsewhere as of now.
for the quickest answer skip to the 2nd paragraph under cut
you can view examples of my classpecting at @insufferable-homestuck under the classpect assigning tag , but to briefly describe the operation; a tumblr user ( majority of the time anonymously but it is up to them ) will list off some personal traits and i will dissect it down to the letter in order to find an appropriate Class and Aspect for the player, it is all very much based of *my* interpretation of the aspects and classes but you'll have to suck it up.
there is no set format for which personal traits im looking for and how i want them listed. there is no character limit, the amount of text someone will sent, how formal or informal it may be and if they choose anonymity or not all helps in the overall classpecting. this may sound silly but you can tell a lot about a person from what traits of theirs *they* choose to say and how they describe themselves, what they think is a key part to them how much they're willing to type for me to get it through my thick green skull that a huuuge part of them is being sensitive and forgiving people /directed
i think i just about covered it.

#𝙆𝙄𝘾𝙆𝙎𝙃𝙀𝙇𝙇 an independent & private & selective blog for michelangelo hamato from teenage mutant ninja turtles. ROTTMNT influence heavy + a mix of canon / headcanons. written by reynard, 25, he / they. personnals dni !
rules under the cut .
#1 - mun . reynard, he / they, transmasc , 25. i am from france so english is not my first language and i may not share the same timezone. activity will depend on a day to day basis. discord is available for mutuals on request !
#2 - content . primary verse is based off rottmnt for the most part, with influence from other iterations as well as headcanons. there will be aus / verses such as the last ronin.
content warning applies for any verse. there will be themes such as body horror, violence, blood, angst, mental illness and disorders, difficult childhood. not everything will be tagged but if you need anything specific to be, do come to me so i can tag it ! i use the following format: " cwname // ".
as for posting style, i use small icons, a small font, bold, italics and colors. trying to keep it to a middle-ground, however i can change it up for our interactions if you have troubles with any.
regarding other's posts, i don't care whether you use icons or not, nor about fancy formatting. just keep it readable, aka cut your texts, and don't use overly whacky fonts. i'm not big on purple prose, either.
#3 - following & interacting . crossovers with dc / marvel, other iterations of the turtles as well as any modern verse muse will be welcome ! duplicates are a-okay with me, i just don't follow these first. ocs are fine too, provided you have at least a basic bio. i am mildly selective in my following, keeping to blogs i wanna see on my dash and / or interact with.
i will interact with mutuals only ! as long as we follow each others, feel free to send in memes, unprompted asks or starters or anything, really.
personal blogs can follow, but will be blocked if interacting with any posts. it just messes things up.
#4 - shipping . i am open to shipping. and that includes all sorts of dynamics ! love to explore a bunch of these. i am fine with pre-established stuff too, provided we discuss it beforehand. though, it must fit into the other present rules.
romantic ships are not off the table. however i'll only romantically ship mikey with muses into his age range ( and again, that don't go against other rules ) and will stay selective about it.
any ships require chemistry foremost. including betweens muns, as i would much rather be able to discuss things out !
#5 - no-nos . anything in this section is not up to debate. nor will i feel the need to justify myself.
no suggestive content or lemon. michelangelo is a teen so don't get weird ! absolutely no incest / tcest.
no tolerance for drama, and i'd rather stay away from callout posts unless they serve more than petty purposes.
no bigotry, queerphobia, racism, or any sort of hate or what have you. general etiquette and common sense applies: don't be a douche.
#6 - mains & exclusives . well, i don't actually deal in exclusives. i am down to interact with multiple version of a single muse, though they'll be independent from each others. on the other hand, i may consider affiliates later down the road.
mains are a thing. it needs to be discussed first ! once we are mains, you basically allow me to break into your inbox anytime, tag you, post unprompted interactions, yell about our muses in dms. and vice versa.
#7 - credits roll . for all graphics i use the psd zone 6 by andsaintsources with some tweaking. icon caps are from the shows or comics.

On July 5, the tech giant Meta formally unveiled Threads, a Twitter competitor. In the first seven hours, more than 10 million individuals registered for the service, according to CEO Mark Zuckerberg. Let's do this, Zuckerberg said in his first post on the app. "Welcome to Threads," with a fire emoji next to it.
In the context of an online forum or discussion platform, a "thread meta" refers to the discussions, comments, or activities that are specifically about the thread itself. It involves conversations that focus on the structure, organization, rules, or dynamics of the thread rather than the main topic being discussed within the thread.
Here are some examples of thread Meta:
Thread guidelines: Discussions about the rules and guidelines that participants should follow when posting in the thread. This may include guidelines on appropriate language, formatting, or the types of content allowed in the thread.
Thread organization: Discussions about how the thread is structured, including suggestions on categorization, tags, or subtopics. Participants may discuss ways to improve the organization to make it easier to navigate or locate specific information.
Thread moderation: Discussions about the moderation practices within the thread, such as how the moderators enforce the rules, handle reported posts, or maintain the overall quality of the discussion. Participants may provide feedback or suggestions on how moderation can be more effective.
Thread etiquette: Conversations about the expected behaviour and etiquette within the thread. Participants may discuss ways to foster respectful and constructive discussions, address any issues related to tone, personal attacks, or off-topic posts.
Thread meta-discussions: Discussions about the discussions themselves. Participants may comment on the quality of the ongoing conversation, highlight interesting points, or reflect on the overall dynamics of the thread.
Thread updates or announcements: Posts made by the thread creator or moderators to communicate important updates, changes to the thread's rules or guidelines, or any relevant announcements related to the topic of the thread.
Thread Meta discussions can play a vital role in maintaining a healthy and productive discussion environment. They provide a platform for participants to give feedback, suggest improvements, or seek clarification on thread-related matters, contributing to a more organized and engaging discussion experience.
