Alright so my family has a bit of a tradition where at least five days around your birthday you get a present, and yesterday I got a lock-picking set and I mastered it in like 20 minutes (no thanks to the paper manual it came with 😒). adopted by infertile parents while born with a defect in the lungs and heart, rosemary was very sheltered growing up. being homeschooled and an only child she grew up very lonely around parents who suffocated her while teaching her a bit of a toxic mentality of “anger is bad. turning the other cheek is best.” as rosemary grew up, she found it difficult to make friends due to being so sheltered and exposed only to what her parents wanted to expose her to. not to mention her height, slight speech impediment, and her “odd” way of dressing as if it is still the 1970s. it wasn’t until she was a sophomore that her parents decided to put her into school based on the advice of one of their colleagues who claimed rosemary would have a more successful life if she was at least a bit exposed to the world before she was going to step into it. it was at school she met what would be her first friend – jerry when she found him muddy and dirty after a hazing moment with bullies.

he introduced her to the rest of the club soon after. to say they would end up being bad influence due to all her pent-up anger, want to rebel, and her lack of knowledge beyond academics, would be an understatement.

bill dickey ; one-sided crush, rosemary likes him as a friend but they get into arguments a lot because of how he treats jerry.

josh levy ; he’s a bit wary of her, expecting her to suddenly turn on all of them. rosemary likes josh, she sometimes finds it funny and exciting when he talks to his mom in a way she knows she’d be murdered for if she spoke to her parents like that. again, most conflict is how he treats jerry.

pete dinunzio ; they despise each other due to a misunderstanding created by bill when it was noticed that the two were getting too close. they don’t speak to each other unless necessary and every conversation ends with rosemary using up almost all of her inhaler.

jerry stokes ; really good friends. rosemary has a crush on him but worries he doesn’t feel the same since she confuses his shyness and jittery behavior around her to be a sign he doesn’t like her that way.
