Chocola(t) Meilleure (meilleure is the feminine form for the adjective "better" in French) is one of the two main characters from a magical girl manga turned anime known as Sugar Sugar Rune in English. The other protagonist is Vanilla Mieux (mieux means best in French), her best friend with opposite looks and personality). It seems her name is sometimes written Chocolat (which does mean chocolate in French, with a silent "t") and sometimes Chocola (which I think I saw it several times on French covers and I believe it's the writing used in the French version)

From her original submitter : "I don't know if chocolate is close enough to a plant name but Chocola is my favourite character from this anime so I wanted to at least try to submit her"

As a pollrunner, I hesitated a bit when I saw that another family member was -at least occasionally- named Pepper and that her Mom was called Cinnamon since it shows an intention... but nevertheless I'd refused characters for less and chocolate is manufactured. I would have accepted Cacao/Cocoa.

In reply to the original submitter : I'd looked and no, the cabbage man didn't have a name when you submitted him. However, I had another look just in case recently... and it looks like he's going to be known as Cai in the children book focused on him that should go out this Summer. According to the wiki, "if he shares the same last name as his son Lau Gan-Lan, That would make his name "Cai Gan-Lan", a play on "gan-lan cai", the name of a vegetable dish."

I know nowadays everyone's alot more into shoujo and magical girl anime, but this one gets forgotten alot ♥️

This anime follows our main characters Chocolate and Vanilla, on their quest to become powerful witches worthy of ruling the magical world!

The outfits are pretty and detailed and the wands are some of the nicest I've ever seen! Lots of unique character designs and our protagonists are super loveable! The animal designs are also so unique and adorable!!

If you haven't given this classic a try, what are you waiting for! Magical girl witches are still less common and I like this version a LOT compared to Madoka's rendition! I hope you all will give it a try this Halloween!!

consider ko writing names in his death note of stalkers who start getting too overzealous following misa around bc if he does it when she's busy or smth she has an alibi. and then misa writing down names in the death note of people who bully ko at times when they're both busy so they both have alibis. and them always making it really inconspicuous accidental deaths so they're rarely ever labeled homicide in the first place. the list of types of people he would kill for her is just: anyone who even remotely makes her uncomfortable, anyone who shows intentions of harming her, and definitely overzealous stalkers. and of course he’d be extremely inconspicuous about it, probably even more so than any other time he uses his d.eath n.ote because he just cares about her wellbeing so much, and wants to make sure any threat for her is eliminated (in ways that wouldn’t be linked to either of them).

also he’d never ask her to kill people who bullied him, or kill anyone for him for that matter, but he absolutely appreciates the gesture of her doing. kjhmlkhklmljlkmsnjk he probably like, tears up every time she kills someone for him because wow what a #realfriend JHJKLSJSMLKJNSLMS. he probably considers their friendship to be one of the luckiest things to ever happen to him + considers her the ultimate good luck that came his hellish cycle, and for that reason alone he’d just murder for her and he would be content with getting nothing in return man i’m weeping. IF YOUR FRIEND DOESN’T MURDER FOR YOU MAYBE YOU’RE NOT REALLY FRIENDS.
