"Good morning!" A gentle voice blessed your ears.

You smiled without looking up from the register.

Mr. Cardigan's ritual began. Glance over the menu, top-right to the espresso drinks, consider getting a decaf-- of course he won't go with the decaf, it was 7:40 and he was already tapping his foot to get to his 8 a.m class. Then he would decide on his tried and true as if it were a brand new idea:

"Double espresso, steamed milk, sweetened with honey."

He was wearing a face of mild shock, a touch of embarrassment, when you looked up from the order you already input.

"Oh, shit--," You laughed, warm at your slip-up, "I'm so sorry."

"Nono, it's- it's fine," He sported a similar color.

After a moment's hesitation, he chuckled and gave you his card.

Your Monday, Wednesday, Friday shift lined up with everyone who had a MWF 8 a.m (+9, 9:30, 10:00, and 10:30, regrettably). He was one of the few you cared to remember since he was such a cutie and he usually tipped you well.

"It's been a long morning, I get it," He graced you with a smooth forgiveness.

You sighed, relieved, and agreed wholeheartedly.

Spring semester was right at the close. Most were coming in to the Business building's little ground-level cafe early or late to cram for finals. He stayed consistent throughout the past few months, though, with his 7:40 sharp arrival.

7:44 if there was a line, but that was Mondays. Fridays weren't as busy because so many people skipped. But reliable Mr. Cardigan never missed a class.

"Almost done, though," You handed him his card back and spun the tip screen around for him, expecting nothing this time.

"Thank god," He tapped for No Receipt and closed his wallet.

He stood at the counter with his hands crossed in front of him to wait for his drink.

He never noticed how pretty your hands were before today. He looked down at his own kinda stumpy fingers. Then he watched -careful not to come across as creepy- at how gingerly you held the mug to the steam wand while screwing the filter in place.

The urge to talk to you nudged at the back of his throat, but he fell silent when you flipped the switch on.

The espresso machine was always a little too loud to talk over.

It was a graceful background noise to those who studied in this lobby, and a good backdrop to stay quiet to.

This time, he didn't feel as though your usual exchange was natural anymore. He wanted to talk, but didn't know quite how. The usual 4-minute wait felt like ages, but today he wasn't keen on leaving until he spoke to you again.

Your eyes flitted over his when you turned towards the lobby side for the honey.

His broad shoulders tensed and he turned his head to take false interest in some of the artwork on the walls. He didn't realize he was staring so hard.

He wondered how long you had been paying attention to him. If was just habit, or maybe a fondness had been growing and he was always too tired to notice anything other than how well you made his drink.

Now it was impossible not to overthink your friendly customer-service smile, or the smiley face you always put on the side of his cup.

Say something!

He repeated it so many times that his mind had been made unintentionally blank when you held the cup up for him to take over the counter.

"Good luck with finals," You said softly.

When he reached for his latte, your fingertips brushed for the tiniest moment. An intense heat crept up the back of his neck.

A shaky, "You, too," was all he could manage.

Something wasn’t right with the consistency of the batter.

Eddie had triple checked the recipe on the notecard in front of him and it was still wrong.

He tried not to cry out of frustration, but his eyes were stinging and he felt a lump in his throat anyways.

He was in charge of this one tiny thing for Steve’s surprise birthday party. It’s literally all he was asked to do: bake the cake.

He’d gotten the recipe for Steve’s favorite from Claudia at his own insistence that he could definitely handle it and it couldn’t be that hard.

Apparently he couldn’t and it was.

The batter was extremely water-y, definitely not thick like the recipe said it should be. It also was more of a tan color than a brown color, but that wasn’t even something Eddie could be worried about right now.

He was supposed to be done with it 20 minutes ago. Steve would be home from work in 30, and there was no way this would be baked and hidden and cleaned up in that time.

He’d fucked everything up.

What a surprise.

He poured the batter into the cake pan, resisting the urge to just pour it in the trash.

He had to see this through even if it did end up being the failure he expected it to be.

He’d call Claudia while Steve was in the shower if he had to; She was already prepared to help if needed.

He put the cake in the oven and waited.

He watched the timer slowly click down and the clock slowly approach the time Steve would be walking in the door.

He could always just say he wanted to try a new hobby. Steve always said he needed a hobby just for him to do alone. All his hobbies usually involved the kids or his band.

Baking could be a hobby. Probably not though since he couldn’t even get cake batter right.

He was startled by the front door opening.

Fuck.

“You’re early!” Eddie yelled as he tried to hide the recipe card, as if the rest of the mess wouldn’t give away exactly what he was doing.

“Yeah. Robin didn’t need a ride tonight.”

Steve’s voice was closer to the kitchen with every word he spoke and Eddie was going through either a panic attack or an aneurysm.

Maybe both?

And then Steve was standing in the kitchen, hands on his hips, suspicion written clear across his face.

“Hey, sweetheart.”

Yeah, that’s good. Act normal. Greet him like you always do. There’s definitely nothing baking in the oven. There’s no dirty dishes in the sink and on the counter and…is that a mixing spoon on the floor? God, he’s a mess.

“What’s going on?”

“Nothing.”

Steve snorted, amusement taking over instead of suspicion.

“Okay, but this looks like a big mess for nothing.”

Eddie watched as Steve walked behind the counter and took in the rest of the mess.

Dustin and Robin would be so pissed at him for ruining the surprise.

“Just felt like trying my hand at something new.”

“Uh huh. And that something new involves making every dish in the kitchen dirty?”

“It was a test.”

“A test.”

“Yeah. Just making sure everything works.”

Steve nodded once and then turned to Eddie with a smirk.

“Did you make me a birthday cake for my surprise party?”

Eddie’s jaw dropped. How the fuck did he know about the party?

“What do you mean?”

“The surprise party that I definitely don’t know anything about but is taking place tomorrow at the Henderson home. I’m assuming this is what you’re in charge of.”

“How did you find out? I was so careful. God, Dustin’s gonna kill me. Robin’s gonna kill me a second, bloodier time. I couldn’t make the cake right, I couldn’t keep anything a secret, now the surprise is ruined and-“

Eddie was cut off by soft lips on his.

When Steve pulled away, he was smiling.

“I love you.”

“I love you too?”

“You didn’t ruin the surprise at all. Dustin did three days ago. He doesn’t know he did though, so please don’t tell him.”

“What?! That shithead threatened my LIFE.”

“I figured.”

“Well, the cake isn’t gonna be right anyways. I fucked it up.”

“Did you add flour?”

Eddie looked at the counter where all of his ingredients were still scattered.

“Uh. Is flour one of those?” He pointed at the sugar and powdered sugar containers.

Steve looked at them, then back at Eddie, then at the oven.

“Let’s get that one out and start over.”

“I knew it! I knew it wasn’t gonna be right! I’m so fucking stupid. I swear to you I followed the recipe perfectly!”

“Baby, it’s okay. It’s just a cake. You did kinda miss the most important part, but we can make a new one.”

“You can’t make your own cake! It’s a surprise party!”

Steve chuckled. “It’s not a surprise anymore. And it’ll be fun.”

It would be fun to see Steve in an apron, mixing ingredients together, getting flour on his nose.

Hm.

“Fine. But if anyone asks, I got it right the first time, and Claudia is in charge next year.”

“Deal.”

Steve sealed it with a kiss, and quickly started washing the dishes.

Their cake turned out perfect and Dustin was so impressed that Eddie not only managed to keep the party a secret, but also make a perfect cake, he told him he could be in charge of next year’s party altogether.

Eddie smirked but went along with it.

Steve never had a surprise party again. Eddie got his help making the cake every year.

"Ok!" You said as you set the box of albums on the coffee table "what's this?" Sohee asked sitting up from his spot "I ordered I think 10 copies of your debut album" you stated proudly "I may be broke but anything to pull my bais" you continued now cutting the tape on the box

"Your so weird" he giggled, you rolled your eyes and opened the album a small sigh left your lips before you flipped the photo card over "oh my-" you gasped before jumping up to celebrate "I pulled him!!!" Kageyama Tobio truly believes that he lives and breathes volleyball. It was never really a hard choice for him growing up when asked whether he would choose volleyball or eating; his instant and definite answer is, volleyball.

Though a tiny whisper could be heard from him, “is it meat though?”.

When you came into the equation though, his choice had faltered a bit more. A love great enough to possibly triumph against his love for volleyball. Truly, you became a force that he didn’t expect to reckon with in his younger days.

Class had finished exactly 30 minutes ago. The school now is only bustling with those who either have club activities or sports activities. Yet you have neither, and here you are, standing in front of the gym where the Karasuno volleyball player, trains. It has been 15 minutes since you give yourself some pep talk to just “you only live once, what’s the harm to it”, and the gnawing nervousness is getting to you.

Kageyama and the others have finished changing into their sports attire, and from a far you could see a group of man walking towards the gym, towards you. You could feel your chest tightening up a bit but you regulate your breathing. Your eyes search for a certain dark-haired man, with a prominent scowl on his face. Kageyama was munching on some bread while he actively listens to Hinata talking about some tv show he watched last night.

It was Tanaka, obviously, Tanaka would be the first one to notice you standing at the side of the court’s door, back leaning on the wall. Then after Tanaka nudges Nishinoya, he jokingly said that maybe you’re going to confess to him.

Right yet very wrong. You on the other hand, who’s watching Kageyama, well really all of them yet your eyes had blurred the others out; is getting the cold feet. You could feel your hand sweating as you proceed to rub your palms on your skirt. You could hear your brain screaming at you to just turn around and leave, to stop embarrassing yourself but you stood your ground.

You’re doing it. So, with another deep breath and a ‘you can do this!’ cheer to yourself, you pushed your body of the wall and walk straight to Kageyama. The loudness from the group of boys slowly dissipates when Tanaka whisper yelled “hey a girl is coming”, and they thought you were going to confess to Suga, since so many girls had confessed to Suga, but you stood directly in front of Kageyama, the most oblivious out of them all.

Kageyama had stopped his bickering with Hinata when Suga pinched him, getting the setter’s attention on you. You could feel your ears getting warm, something that always happen when you’re getting embarrassed. Your head tilted up while Kageyama looked down at you. Honestly, he looks pretty scary with his sharp eyes and that deep scowl, but you strengthen your resolve.

“I really like you”. The words blurted itself out before you could even think to actually pull him aside, and well, not confess in front of his team mates. Yet what’s done is done, and the words have been said and reciprocated by sharp gasps. All of them are watching the scene unfolding, it quickly reminded Hinata of the tv show he watched last night, while Kageyama, who’s not really fluent in the language of relationships could only stare at you dumbfounded.

Tsukishima snickered, a smirk gracing his features as he nudges Kageyama. “Oi, a girl is confessing to you, why the hell are you stiff as a rock?”. Kageyama who’s still confused could only coughed as he shifted his weight on another feet. You were searching his face for, anything, yet you kinda, already know the answer.

“You like me?”. You nodded, a blush covering your face but you continue your eye contact with him. Now, the genius setter is only a genius when it comes to volleyball, but love? Bro is absolutely dry in that area. Kageyama is unsure on what to say to you, because first of all, does he know you? Probably. But where? He’s bad at memorizing people’s faces and names so getting a confession from someone he doesn’t know feels weird.

So, the only thing his dumbass could say is, “But I don’t know you, and I don’t like you”.

It was instant, the collision of Daichi’s palm to the back of Kageyama’s head, causing the setter to grunt in pain. Suga’s smile was getting dangerous because holy shit, Kageyama is a dumbass and who would have thought he had raised such stupidity. They’re both painfully aware of how socially awkward he is and how blunt he could get, but this takes the cake. Sugawara pinches Kageyama’s forearm as he whispers yells, “what the hell is wrong with you?!” while Daichi bowed at you repeatedly, apologizing for Kageyama’s reply.

Now, Kageyama is confused all over again, poor man for his lack of knowledge, but to not have any delicacy? That’s truly on him. The confusion though was cut short when he sees you rubbing your chest, tears forming in your eyes and a thought came into his head. “Maybe I should have thought about it more”. He definitely should have thought about it more because he’s incurring the wrath of a certain captain, a certain setter, a certain wing spiker and a certain libero.

“Fair enough”. You whispered. “I expected that but damn, it still hurts”. It’s true that you already knew that Kageyama would reject you, and it’s true that he doesn’t know you. Its only you who had eyes on him, who noticed that he’s an airhead, and that he’s not that social, that he really loves volleyball. You have like him ever since you saw his incredible combo with Hinata. You remembered your friends going crazy over how high Hinata’s jump is, but your eyes were completely on the one who utilized Hinata so well. You were in a trance and in that moment, your heart beats another rhythm.

Your tears were blurring surroundings, and you know now what you’re going to do next. You’re going to say thank you, and apologize for being a nuisance, quickly walk out of school, run to your home and cry. Cry because you’re kinda dumb, and you shouldn’t have confessed, and you’re probably gonna dread the few days of school because you’re going to see him in class.

But your plan didn’t really work out like you wanted.

“DID YOU JUST MADE A GIRL CRY???”. Tanaka screamed as you and Kageyama flinched. Kageyama was going to try defending himself but before he could, Tanaka yelled again. “What kind of man makes a girl cry?!!”. Nishinoya and the others nodded vigorously, agreeing to Tanaka’s words but really, they’re just jealous. Like why the hell would Kageyama, the most awkward member of theirs get a confession. Of course, they won’t admit that, so they resorted to taunt and poke at Kageyama.

Daichi stepped up to you as he squeezes your shoulder, catching your attention.

“Hey, I am so sorry for his behaviour. Kageyama is quite… challenged in that part so…” You shake your head as you give him a small smile.

“No, it’s okay! I already expected this. The emotions just came suddenly that’s why”.

Sugawara was going to console you when you step back and speaks.

“I’m sorry for the inconvenience Kageyama-san. I wish you the best”. You bowed and give him a small smile, as you nod to the others. Quickly, you turn around and walked away as fast as you could, sniffling with a sad slump on your shoulders.

Kageyama watches you walk away as an annoying feeling fester in his heart. He feels bad for rejecting you but he truly doesn’t know what he should do. He was going to ask for the team’s opinion when Sugawara speaks up.

“I think you should get to know her, Kageyama. She seems nice and she’s willing to like you”. Hinata nodded as Tanaka and Nishinoya stares at Kageyama with rage.

Kageyama was lost on what to do or think so he searches for Daichi’s eyes, waiting for something. Daichi had his hand on his chin, as he gives Kageyama a small smile.

“Your punishment for today is decided”.

“Huh?”.

“You are to chase after her, apologise, walk her back home and then come back. Then you will begin your laps once you’re back, is that understood?”. Daichi announce, and though he’s not one to let love life interfere with trainings, this is Kageyama they’re talking about. For him to actually get to know a girl by his own would be a dream that settles in dreamland.

“Well, scram!”. Nishinoya yelled as Kageyama frantically nods and went on to catch up to you.

You were sniffling lightly, trying to hide the fact that you’re crying since there’s still people around you. Ever since the confession, you’ve been in a state of self-loathing, thoughts going over on, is your attractiveness the cause of the rejection? or is there something you did wrong? It seems like there is comfort in trying to understand why through self-loathing, but you knew it’s not really you. It just Kageyama barely knows you, but you can’t really fathom that at the moment.

The convenience store was ahead of you, and you put a little smile on your face. As you change your path to the side, you could hear footsteps running from behind you and a voice calling out for someone.

“Hey you! wait for me!”. You knew that voice, its none other than your crush and when you turn around to confirm, indeed the tall man is running towards you. You stopped on your tracks as he halted in front of you, two hands on his knee as he tries to catch his breath.

“Kageyama? Why are you here?”. You inquire as you place a hand on his shoulder.

“Puh… hah”.

“Puh?”

“Punishment…”. Your face twist in confusion as Kageyama finally regain his breath and towers over you.

“My captain told me to go after you, and apologise and get to know you. After that, I was instructed to go walk you home, go back and start my laps”. Kageyama said with a face filled with determination while your confusion turns into embarrassment and pity. You held your hand up and shake it as you say.

“It’s okay Kageyama! It’s not that big of a deal! You should go back and start your training for the day”.

“I can’t because Daichi will ask me on the details and I can’t really lie”. You were going to refuse him again when he looks up and saw the convenience store, his eyes lighting up as he held your forearm, pulling you to the convenience store.

“Let me treat you to something as an apology”. Okay maybe that’s not what Daichi meant with an apology, because that’s borderline bribery but you’re too startled by the fact that Kageyama is pulling you to the convenience store rather than the ‘apology’.

Now you’re inside, Kageyama asked you what you want and you were going to refuse again but he insisted, and so you told him that you’re getting some drinks. The both of you walked to the milk fridge and you took out strawberry milk along with Kageyama’s usual, plain milk and hand it to him. Kageyama had a confused look on his face yet takes it.

“ You like plain milk right?”. You claim as you close the fridge’s door.

“How do you know that?”. You chuckled and reply. “Kageyama, I have a crush on you, knowing what you like is not that hard to know, when I spend most of my time thinking and observing you”. Yup too honest, you thought. Your face reddens as you look up to him.

“I mean- I don’t-, I mean I just have been seeing you a lot!”. You tried to cover it up cause your confession sounds very stalker-ish, and you don’t really want to be branded as a stalker by your crush. Kageyama instead choose to stay silent as he went over to the counter to pay for the both of your drinks.

Once the both of you stepped outside, Kageyama finally breaks the awkward silence.

“Why do you like me?”. You had your head down all the time because you were worried that you have offended him, then when you finally lift your head up, you realized that Kageyama is watching you so intensely.

You stare into his eyes as you gulped, looking at your feet again.

“It was really just… awe in the beginning. I saw your fast combination with Hinata and then eventually, my eyes kept on going towards you in class”. You confessed, kicking of the pebbles on the ground.

“I can’t say grand things like you gave me purpose or anything like that, I just like you, simple and straightforward”. You sucked in a breath of air, willing yourself to look at him, and again Kageyama was staring at you.

“What’s your name?”. Kageyama asked as you answer. Then you waited again, searching his face for anything, but you can’t read his facial expression.

“I’ll be honest, (y/n)”. You nodded as Kageyama now become the one staring holes into the pavement.

“I’m not good with relationships, if isn’t clear as of now…”. You nodded again, understanding where he’s coming from, because frankly, you don’t know yourself. Both still very young and naïve.

“So, when you confessed to me earlier, I was confused and words just come out of my mouth. I didn’t mean to hurt you, so I apologize”.

“It’s okay Kageyama. I was not expecting you to accept it anyway because like you said, you don’t know me. Truly, you don’t need to do all this”. You replied, while gesturing the air.

“But I’m just curious really. You’re the first girl that ever approached me like so”. You smiled in amusement because you would have thought a man as handsome as he is would probably have been pursued several girls.

“But again, I can’t give you a relationship because I don’t know how. So…”. You quirked your eyebrows at him as he rubs the back of his neck, his ears getting red.

“Maybe we can try and be friends first you know… that’s really the only thing I know…”. Kageyama waited for your response yet you laughed out loud, a hand on his shoulder.

“Kageyama, I think I know another reason why I like you”.

“Why?”.

“Because you’re incredibly adorable”. You whisper, your voice low and for sure, only Kageyama could hear you. You had a soft smile on your face, a smile that reaches your eyes as you pinches his cheek. Kageyama could feel the blush creeping on his face because at this time, this stranger he just gotten to know looks absolutely beautiful.

He coughs, trying to hide his embarrassment as he speaks.

“Don’t tease me…”. You laugh again as you ask him for his phone. Kageyama gives it to you without question as you save your number in his phone.

“That’s my number, call me when you’re free”. Kageyama was confused again because why should he call you, the both of you can just meet in class now that he knows you’re his classmate, yeah, he just known.

“Now go back to your training! You’re already late!”. Kageyama notices the time on his phone and panicked a bit because he took longer than he should. He was going to offer to walk you back home, but you insisted that he would be late, thus after some thought, he agreed. The both of you then say your goodbyes as Kageyama started to run. You smiled in fondness as you watch him run away towards the school but suddenly, he stopped and turn around.

“I’ll give you a call!”. Kageyama screamed out as he waves you goodbye while you give him a thumbs up, despite how surprised you were.

You released a sigh as a smile came upon your face again. You walked back into the convenience store, now with a new mission for the evening. You’re not going to be sad tonight as you expected, instead, a call might ring.

BONUS:

Kageyama and the team had a meeting early in the morning since a tournament is coming. After the meeting ended, the boys huddled around him, wanting to know the details of last night.

Once he came back from your meeting with him yesterday, he was bombarded with question and Kageyama had to spend some time telling them the details of what happened because even his usually level-headed captain was interested. So when they knew that the both of you might be calling last night, they were so excited for him.

“So did you guys call last night?”. Kageyama nodded slowly as the boys howled in excitement.

“Did you like the call though?”. Sugawara asked as he grins, proud of his boy.

“It was… surprisingly fun. We talked a lot, well she, talked a lot and I answered but I think I liked it more than I expected”. The boys laugh as Tanaka smacks Kageyama back repeatedly.

“Now you only need to ask her out on a date!”.

Tanaka’s suggestion became a question and answer session as Kageyama asked them how exactly dating begins and so the Karasuno team had a short meeting on what dating is, thankfully Shimizu told them that school is starting soon.

That short q and a session brought you to Kageyama standing over you in class.

“(y/n)”.

“Kageyama”.

“Let’s go on a date”. You gasped as you look around, making sure that no one heard you and thankfully no one did.

“My senpai’s told me that we should go on a date as soon as possible”. Your face was so hot and red that you have to take a deep breath. A part of you thanks his seniors for their word and another part of you is understanding that Kageyama is actually interested at you to that point. And both parts are a win.

And so, you nodded, as you told him that the both of you should discuss it later.

Now your confession failed, yet it succeeds in ways you didn’t expect, at all.

Jikook Week 50 Complete (19/11-26/11/2024)

Their 50th week in the military is now complete. Today we are looking back at this week in 2020. This was a big week for BTS with the release of Be on 20th November along with Life Goes On directed by none other than Jeon Jungkook.

On the same day these concept photos were released to accompany the album. Jimin in a room full of flowers and JK backed by a wall of music speakers. Both of them looking fabulous in their own way.

Their agenda was packed with interviews and appearances that week. Alongside the promo activities Run BTS 116 (17/11) & 117 (24/11) were shown. Run BTS was centered around good team work. There were 16 potential missions but they only had to pass five of these before they could go home.

Minimoni had a penalty from the previous episode and had to wear flowery trousers and rubber shoes.

Game 1: Read my Mind ✔️Success - The members had to do a pose in response to a specific word e.g. heart and they would win if their poses were all different. There was a fair amount of creativity on show and the game was completed in quick time.

Game 2: Jump Rope ✔️Success - In the second game, BTS had to jump rope 50 times. Jikook took the lions share of the work together doing 30 jumps and Sope did the least with 5 between them.

Game 3: Tennis ❌Failure - Despite having Hobi on the team (bronze medal winner in a tournament of three teams) tennis just didn't work out for them.

Game 4: Guess the song - ✔️Success -Tae, JK and Suga took turns to be blindfolded. They had to feel the poses that each member was making and from that guess the song. Jimin is squirming when it was Tae's turn to guess and then there was JK. We know he did include Jimin, there is even the picture below from the behind but that whole sequence is cut from the show.

JK guessed correctly and Suga also turns out to be a bit of a whizz at the game so they safely completed this round.

Game 5: Table cloth pull - ✔️Success - This was a really difficult challenge and the staff kept setting the bar lower and lower when BTS failed to achieve it. Initially the target was 4/7 to successfully keep the bottles upright while the table cloth is pulled away but by the end BTS had successfully negotiated that one person would be enough. Jimin was up and no one was more surprised than he was that he successfully pulled it off.

Game 6: Bottle Pass - ✔️Success - They took ages planning how to take on this challenge and had numerous unsuccessful dry runs but when put on a timer, they competitiveness and teamwork won through and they successfully completed the task.

They displayed such good team work that they were able to complete the challenges by 6pm and went home three hours early.

Idk how to explain one moment. Bts had an interview after Black Swan mv came out (Jimin was in purple sweater, all of them had smth purple on them). And during this interview Suga stroked his back and Jimin looked… nervous? He looked at the camera as if saying Suga “stop it, not now”.

If you remember this moment and you have some thoughts on it, pls share, what could it mean?

I think you’re referring to the MOTS 7 comeback special. (I’ve answered an ask about it before here, but it’s been awhile! You can take a look at that to get the context of the back rub moment.)

Yes, Yoongi rubs Jimin’s back in his usual reassuring way, but this time Jimin turns toward him and says quietly, “hajima (stop).”

Long story short, earlier in the special Yoongi brought up Jimin’s visit to the Shadow set and said he appreciated it. Jimin interrupted to say that he felt Yoongi hadn’t greeted him very warmly, and they went back and forth about it for a minute.

So, I think Jimin was still a little bothered about how the Shadow visit had gone. Did Jimin tell Yoongi “no thanks” to the back rub because he’d been reminded earlier of the Shadow incident and was upset? Or was he just aware of the cameras and wanted Yoongi to stop? It’s hard to say. But I can’t help but wonder if these things are connected.

Anyway, this moment has a lot of context. You can see the Shadow visit here*, the MOTS 7 comeback discussion of it here (after the little Weverse intro, this link should take you to 23:40), and the back rub moment here (1:05:30).

All pairs/couples/whatever-you-believe-they-are-to-each-others have rough days. This whole thing was very…convincing... to me. Everything that happened in the comeback special—from Yoongi going out of his way to discuss Jimin’s visit, to Jimin not wanting Yoongi to rub his back, to Jimin squeezing past Joon and linking arms with Yoongi at the very end—seems like unusual behavior for typical pals.

Hope this answers your question! Like I said, there is a lot of context to this moment that I think is important. And I have plenty of thoughts on the Shadow visit but that seems like a subject for another post!

This is exactly what Suga was talking about with scandals or controversial just from him drinking whiskey, like we haven’t seen him do that before we’ve seen him drunk before mind you we’ve seen them all drink on lives in the soop their festive dinners, so what’s the issue? This is exactly why Namjoon concert you had to be 18+ to get in. I need y’all to stop painting them in this light they’re adults let them be adults they’re not little kids anymore. Most of them are either already 30 or gonna be turning 30 in the next 2 to 3 to 4 years, I need you to stop fantasizing in the most unhealthiest way. These men are not your boyfriends not your husbands respect them as idols and as such and please be respectful to them when they’re on live, and the other thing, I Gotta say we’ve gone way way too far with the Yoongi marry me joke to the point we’re going into other idols, lives and commenting that and it’s ridiculous it’s embarrassing. It’s cringe. He and it’s a mess up to other idols that think you come there to see them y’all be doing too much lately so now I really understand. I’m really like why for the music video Suga was smoking because y’all are acting ridiculous. Y’all can never let these men beat them, the raw natural, authentic selves and I’m glad they’re not caring anymore and showing who they are and if you don’t like it, you can always leave but it’s ridiculous and then you’re gonna go ahead and paint. Tae as being mean or a bully because he told you to update your comments or your questions, or if he goes and defends his members just leave these men alone let them be happy. Why do you feel like taking all this happiness from them? It’s ridiculous.

Jimin is here as he is visiting for the weekend, Taehyung and Jungkook came along with him as well, I just found out Jungkook is from Busan and I don't know about Taehyung though as he hasn't left to see his family and he somehow knows the Busan dialect I think he just clingy to Jimn and Jungkook or something .I just found out that I got accepted in Busan High School of Arts last week, I worked hard so I can achieve my dream. I dance my ass off, so I can audition in a few like he did.

As I put my journal down and put away I go over to Jimin's room and plop down on his bed crashing onto Jimin himself. "Poppieee!" He screeched as he hugs and clings onto me as he continues to talk to Taehyung and Jungkook, "hyung, why do you always change her nickname?" Taehyung asked, Jimin turns to him before speaking, "We always been though nicknames one just haven't sticked." I nodded in agreement before Taehyung suggested a nickname, "how about ...Dove? like the bird since she soft not yet ready to fly but has inspirations"

Jimin then piped up and ran to tell Jihyun and our parents, I'm guessing then I turn to Taehyung, "how did you know I like birds?" he just shrugged and said "lucky guess, I think doves are pretty so is Jimin I guess it'll fit you since you're his sister." Jimin is visiting because I have a dance competition and really need his support and of course Taehyung came along but shockingly, the rest of Bangtan came along too, something about supporting the members family or something; I'm glad to have my brother around as they are about to make more music for another comeba-

"What do you have there?" I hear a voice say as I yelp and throw my journal across the room looking at the source of the voice. "Nothing! Oh hi Suga-nim" I see him pick up my journal and flip through it while I basically swallow myself whole.

"Oh wow! You are quite a good writer you write quite a lot if you put this writing in music you'll probably be a top idol; we haven't achieved that but you're a good writer; unlike me" I shake my head in denial "No no you're great! You just need to put in to actual experience instead of the typical stuff your company is doing" Yoongi tilts his head in confusion.

"Show me then Y/N-ah"

May 5th, 2015 Jihyun and I are watching The Show as Jimin is on there tonight as there is a chance Bangtan might win I hope they do! I haven't told Jimin yet but I have an audition lined up for a company called Pledis as they have a audition in Busan this week I'm really excited and been wanting to tell him but they been so busy

"Dove hurry hyung is about to preform!!" I hear Jihyun as I rush out of my room and sit next to him leaving my journal open as they start preforming and we do the fan chants as well being all excited and clapping at the end seeing how hard they all worked for this after a while we're watching the end to reveal the winner It's Bangtan oh my goodness!!! Yay!!

2 days later I hear my phone ringing and see a FaceTime request

I run over and pick up the phone "Doveeeee! We won! We won!" Jimin said with tears in his eyes and with lipstick on I smiled widely and screeched.

"Congratulations to you and the rest of BTS," thats when I saw it, Taehyung staring in the background of the call. It made me uncomfortable, as in I barely called Jimin anymore because, he's always staring and don't say anything, but thats when I saw Jungkook. "Oh! Is that Kookie? Hi JK!" The maknae looked around as he heard a voice, not just any voice Dove's voice. He turned around and then seen it. Jimine hyung's little sister in a video call. "Dove!! Hi! How are you?" Jungkook said very exictedly, as it's one of the only people besides bangtan he comfortable talking to. As time passed, Taehyung eventually started talking to the Park siblings as well. That's when the topic came up. "Dove which entertainment are you gonna audition for? I think you should start thinking which entertainment fits your style, since you are almost Seventeen" Jimin said in a serious tone, in which I agreed with his statement. "I actually have audition coming up with Pledis hyung" I teased and can see on Jimin's face he didn't like when I call him hyung, I then started to snicker at his recation. "Just call me Oppa once please?" I shook my head. "I will when you grow taller than JK" I heard a few giggles from Jungkook himself, Hoseok, Taehyung, Namjoon and a few managers of theirs. "That's the Parks for you" you heard Seokjin say and you see Jimin nod to someone out of frame.

May 10th, 2015 "Ahh, good job Ms. Park! You take after your older brother quite well" I smile at the compliment my teacher gave me for my dancing

"Ahh, it seems like I'm gonna say the same thing to you as I did to your brother years before... are you ready for your very long-awaited audition?"

...

Here I am at the finally at the Busan Pledis entertainment auditions. Waiting for my number 03572 to be called so I can audition. Years of practice for this very moment. My dream. "Number 03572, 03573, 03574 and 03575" I quickly stood up and walked to the staff, along with the other people that were called up as well. We all went to a room where the judges were at as we stand in a line in front of them. As, I was first I sang and danced first, I sang one of Bangtan's song; Moving On and danced to Up&Down by EXID All the judges seem satisfied as in they didn't stop me at all and went on to the next people in line, which they stopped a few times.

Thats the day I became an official Pledis entertainment trainee.

July 30th, 2015

I'm on the train to Seoul. It was hard saying bye to Jihyun and my parents, but this is my dream so Im going besides I'm going to be closer to Jimin though, I hope to meet new friends and maybe some other people from Busan, while there I will keep on practicing with my whole life being as this is my dream I want to be a good as Jimin if not better but that's reaching and I hope Taehuyng will stop being as creepy as he been.

I put my journal down as I reach the station in Seoul. I collect my belongings and head off the train I see two very pretty men with the sign "Park Y/N" and walk up to the two boys one a similar height as me while the other is a little taller but not by much.

"Hello I'm probably the only one you can talk to because of dialects, I'm Jihoon my stage name is Woozi, and that's Seungkwan, we were on our way back to the company with our manager so they asked if we would pick you up"

I nodded while Jihoon explained, and I introduced myself "oh alright I'm Y/N but everyone calls me Dove" both boys nodded then Seungkwan said " wow you have a thick Gyeongsang dialect, knowing all trainees and idols you'll end up talking like us soon! what year were you born Y/N-ssi?"

I smiled shyly and answered "I'm a 97 liner" he then frowned slightly, I'm guessing I'm older than him then I follow them to a black van and were surprised to know that there were 11 more members in their group before going into Jihoon's van as I felt most comfortable with him as I understood him the most and he somewhat looked familiar

"Has anyone told you that you kind of look like Suga-ssi from Bangtan?" he nodded but looked surprised by the informal speech I used to describe Suga and then he asked me "Do you know Bangtan?" I nodded and explained that I'm related to one of the members, I find out while on the ride that their group is called Seventeen.

As we arrive to the Pledis building I approach the lady at the front desk, "hello I'm Park Y/N, I'm a new trainee and I don't know where to go" The lady who name I find out later is Kim Garam calls her buzzer to get the CEO, Han Sungsoo and I wait for him to come down and now see the whole group of Seventeen walking to another part of the building and ten minutes later the CEO comes up to me; after the introductions I'm led to a room that says Pristin and was told that by the beginning of next year I'll be on a survival show but until then I'll be training these girls and need to find a stage name as Y/N doesn't really fit for the image for the group I nodded and walk into the room to begin my trainee life.

I'm nervous as it's the first day of airing the show and I'm lucky to see familiar faces from my company but there a lot of girls here they weren't kidding about the 101 part but I'm happy to be a part of this show and see where everything goes and how high I rank in the show as the cameras are always rolling , since training I haven't have any time to write unless its songs I'm always writing songs If not for that I would be going crazy as I been journaling since I was 14. Jimin has visited a few times since I started training like the opening school ceremony as I transferred schools, our birthdays and a few other times as I gotten close to Jihoon and he's a producer, every time Jimin is around I always see Taehyung when I ask Jimin he always says he just clingy which I believe a I seen him being clingy to Jimin and all the other bangtan members since meeting him back in 2012 so I don't mind it as much as I used to, I encourage Jimin to bring him if it calms Taehyung down

I'm in the group oh my...I ranked 6th I'm going to be in the group I can't believe I'm going to be in the final lineup Jimin called right after the airing and was screaming in excitement for me as I might be promoting alongside him in the future, I'm really excited I'm going to be debuting and I'm so excited for it I can't wait! Our debut is set in a month until then we got to prepare everything for the debut, Jimin said he going to help us a lot behind the scenes and I'm thankful for that a lot like we'll need all the help we can get.

The Bangtan Gal Chapter 67- BTS RUN Episodes 4-9

Episode 4

Wearing white shirts and red shorts, the members filmed this episode in a swimming pool. The game they will be playing today is called 30 Seconds Gate. They must clear the mission in 30 seconds. Three missions will be played today to decide the final winner.

“Do you see the buoy behind you? In 30 seconds, you must move two Jenga pieces using chopsticks.” they were told.

“Oh wow, great,” Jen mumbled.

Here she thought they were just going to have a swimming competition. She should’ve known better.

‘Round 1 Rules are to move to the buoy with the Jenga tower. Take two Jenga pieces out by using chopsticks. Clear if you stack them up. Fail if it falls or time is over.’

“Hold on, let me go first,” Rapmon announced.

“Then I should go right after Rap Monster.” Jimin raised his hand.

“Nope. I’m going first.” Jen stepped in front of the guys and put her hair in a high bun.

“Good luck!” Jungkook shoved her from behind, making her fall in as she yelped.

He giggled loudly while the rest of the members cackled uncontrollably. Still, in shock, she swam up and moved her wet hair from her face. She ended up cursing at him which had to be bleeped out as the members laughed harder. Turning to the buoy, she slowly swam to it. For Jen’s strategy, she decided to move cautiously and not rush. She wanted to be accurate with her movement. Carefully grabbing the chopsticks, Jennie moved two pieces as she heard the whistle blow.

’29 seconds!’

“It’s better than going over, I’ll take it.” she fist pumped.

Jimin shoved Rapmon into the water, and the members laughed and applauded.

“Just let me swim!” Rapmon yelled.

After watching him, he managed to get 28 seconds. With Jimin, who happily jumped into the pool, he cleared it in a jaw-dropping 13 seconds.

“Go!” Jimin yelled and shoved Jin into the pool as everyone whooped and applauded.

“Ding, ding, ding, ding, ta la la la~!” the members danced and sang.

Unfortunately for Jin, he facepalmed as soon as the blocks fell and he would have to drink some garlic juice. V suffered the same fate while Jungkook prepared to jump in. To get him back from earlier, Jennie kicked him in the butt, causing him to fall in as the members whooed and cheered for her sneak attack.

“Ahahah, that was priceless!” Jimin laughed.

“Payback by Jennie!” V giggled.

“He deserved that-ah!” she yelped when Jungkook grabbed her ankle.

She lost her balance and fell as he dragged her in with Jin and Hobi trying to grab her back but failing.

“Fight! Fight! Fight!” Jimin and Taehyung cheered as they watched JenKook splash each other with water and start grabbing onto each other.

“That’s for earlier, you punk!” she jumped on his back and wrapped her arms around his neck to try to choke him.

“D-don’t drown him!” Hobi laughed.

“Break them up!” Jin exclaimed.

“Ah, let them keep fighting!” Suga waved them away.

After separating and laughing, Jen got out of the pool and simmered down while everyone watched Jungkook attempt to move two pieces which he cleared successfully.

When it was J-Hope’s turn to jump in, he automatically failed the mission because the blocks had fallen from the impact of him coming in the pool. Once he came out, he flipped his hair and ran a hand through it while requesting ARMY to make lots of gifs. The losers who managed to fail the first mission were given garlic juice to drink as they pretended to film a garlic juice commercial. Watching V down the drink in one gulp and seeing his face twist up in disgust made Jennie cringe as the members laughed.

“Due to time constraints, we will skip the next loser.” The PD announced, which made the rest of the losers excited and happy as they began to cheer and yell happily.

For round 2, the mission is the unfold the paper crane in 30 seconds. They would just have to walk to the table on the buoy and will clear the mission if it’s unfolded in 30 seconds. Jennie started off first, slowly walking on the buoy. Grabbing one of the paper cranes, she carefully opened it and managed to get 18 seconds.

“Effortful.” she gave the camera a thumbs up.

Jimin seemed to be killing it in this episode of Run because he kept simply getting things done quickly. It impressed Jennie. As she continued to watch, Suga failed his mission because the paper had ripped and the members raised their hands to agree that he should fail the mission if the paper was ripped.

“It ripped!” Suga accused as Jin held up his finished paper.

All of a sudden, Jin slipped and fell, making a big splash as the members laughed and Jennie widened her eyes. J-Hope had also failed with 32 seconds.

For the final mission, the members would have to transfer Coke from one bottle to another. They must walk to the table with a 500ml Coke bottle and an empty one and they will clear the mission once they transfer the Coke to the empty bottle within 30 seconds.

For a prank, V and Rapmon had shaken some Coke bottles to try to make some fail the mission. It worked because Suga failed and so did Jennie and Jin as the members laughed. When it was V’s turn, Jennie applauded his skill when he turned the bottles around so the soda could drop into the empty bottle without a big mess.

“I should’ve done that,” she said.

In the end, Jimin was announced as the MVP, which he rightfully deserved after how he made the challenges look so simple while Jin was forced to drink the garlic juice.

“I will finish it with a quote by Won Bin,” Jin said on camera. “I still have one more shot.” he drank the juice but immediately cringed as everyone laughed at his face.

Episode 5

For this episode, the members were on a soccer field to play Korean traditional games to celebrate Chuseok. 100 seconds Sports Day was the theme. The members had to complete six missions in 100 seconds. Missions are completed in a relay and they have five chances and will receive penalties if they fail.

“So, is it BTS vs crew members?” Rapmon asked.

“Sure.” the crew responded.

For Round 1, Jungkook spun around quickly and kicked the shuttlecock before tagging Suga. Suga placed a block on his chest and slowly made his way over but failed so Jungkook had to go back to spin around ten times and go back to Suga. When he finally dropped the block to hit the block on the floor, Suga tagged J-Hope who struggled with opening the bag of chips with his feet.

“We might need Jin on this one,” Jen commented as she watched him struggle. They received a mission failed and the members began to roughly kick him for making the team fail. “Jin, you’re gonna have to do this. You’re skilled with your feet, so switch places with J-Hope.”

Soon after, Jin took his place and the members started over. He opened the bag instantly and went to Jennie who had to carefully walk to Rapmon with an egg on a spoon.

‘Don’t drop, don’t drop.’ she thought

“Come on Ennie~!” V cheered

Once she made it, she set the spoon and egg down and high fived Rapmon. Things went smoothly but once it came to V and he tried to toss the milk carton into the bin, it fell and the member yelled in defeat.

Jungkook and V switched places for round three but Suga ended up tossing the shuttlecock through the fence outside.

“What is going on!?” Jennie yelled at the heavens and dropped to her knees. “WHHHHHHHHHY!?”

Jimin and the rest of the guys rushed over to Suga and began to stomp on him.

For Round Four, the members tried it yet again, determined to get it correct. When it was Jungkook’s turn, he chugged the carton of milk as the members started yelling and jumping around him.

“Let’s go Kookie! Drink that milk! Drink!” Jen cheered.

“Hurry Jungkook! Calcium!” Suga yelled.

“You’re getting taller!” Rapmon yelled.

But once Jungkook tried to toss it in, he failed as Jimin threw the milk carton at the Golden Maknae. For the fifth and final round, the members attempted to make sure everything went according to plan. Jungkook managed to get the milk carton in and once they made it to Jimin, he successfully caught the Songpyun in his mouth.

“AHHHHHHHHHH!” The members yelled and ran with their hands up high in victory.

Jennie ended up doing cartwheels around the soccer field and then V jumped on her back as she ran around.

“Thank you, Lord! Thank you! Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!” she fell down on the grass after he got off. “No punishment!”

After settling down, the members watched in delight as the crew members drank the horrible drink mixed by them. The sourness of the drink was strong based on the smell and Jen almost felt bad for the crew.

Episode 6

‘A small Catholic church in a village. Many visit here to confess their sins to a priest. Hearing that, BTS members secretly visited here.’

For this episode of BTS Run, the members were to confess their sins while Suga and Jimin were portraying priests for the episode. After waiting, it was finally Jen’s turn as she walked in and sat in front of Suga.

“Hi.” She smiled.

“Welcome. What brings you here?” Suga asked.

“I’m here to confess my sins. So...I kind of cussed out some of the members because they purposely ate my smarties that I had just ordered and received from the mail when I went out for another rap lesson with Suga.”

Suga ended up laughing to himself as he remembered the memory of her cussing them out in English. It was just a prank to continue the prank war but apparently, her smarties were off limits if she had just received them that same day. It was a tie between messing with Jin’s Mario collection or her smarties. He didn’t regret it because seeing her like that was hilarious and it was worth getting cussed out at.

“I should control my frustration but y’all know how I feel about my smarties, so...I just hope that next time the guys will think with their brain and understand that my smarties are off limits.”

“Yes, this is serious.”

“Oh, and I have another one. I kind of messed up.” she laughed and covered her face.

“Another? What did you do?”

“It’s...about Suga.”

“What about him?”

“I really hope that he can forget this matter. It was just an accident and I’ve been keeping it in for months.”

“What did you do?” he asked again in a low tone, preparing for the worst as Jennie had to refrain herself from laughing.

“Okay, okay, I need Suga to promise me that he won’t get mad.”

“He won’t get mad.”

“All right, so...remember back at the time when Suga’s studio was rearranged and created into a pool party? And he immediately blamed Jimin and Taehyung because of what had happened last time?”

“Where are you going with this...?”

“Let’s say that...I was the-“

“Are you serious?”

“Aye! Aye! You promised you wouldn’t get mad. I’m sorry! I thought it was funny!”

Suga exhaled sharply, contemplating if he should kill her. It took weeks to find his items and get things back in order.

“Give me your finger,” he demanded.

“Why should I?”

“Give me your finger.”

“Oh gosh...” she put a finger through one of the holes in the wall separating them. She laughed and winced in pain when he grabbed and twisted it. “Ow! You said you wouldn’t get mad!”

“I’m not mad. This isn’t mad.” he let go. “Your sins are forgiven. Suga cannot be mad at you. It was...a little funny to say the least.”

“Thank you. I’m glad to hear that.” she stood up. “Can I have a hug?”

“Really...?”

“Please?” she opened her arms out.

“Aish...” he shook his head and embraced her.

Episode 7

For this episode, the members arrived in Inje for a Silmi-do special. The members were told that what they doing would be a survival picnic and split up into two teams. Jimin, Suga, Jennie, and J-Hope were in one team, while the rest of the members were on the other. Jennie’s team wore black vests while Jungkook’s team wore red vests. The game will last for 30 minutes, and each team will play by offense and defense in paintballing. If shot by a paintball, you’ll have to return to your camp to rejoin and if you enter the enemy’s camp without getting shot then your team will win. As they prepared, Jungkook’s team huddled up together to discuss strategy.

“We really need to watch out for Jennie, she’s good at defense.” V brought up.

“We should go after her first.” Jungkook nodded.

With Jen’s team, she discussed strategy with her teammates. “I think that we should be on a defensive route and be careful. Let’s not go in guns blazing. Hide in various spots."

As each team prepared, Jennie leaned against a tree, turning to the camera filming her. “Let’s do this thang!”

‘Reds vs Blacks, who is going to win?’

‘BTS Survival Round 1’

The red team rushed quickly while the black team focused on defense and stayed close like Jennie requested. It seemed to have worked because Suga instantly shot Rapmon while Jennie also shot him in the butt.

“OW!” Rapmon yelled and rubbed his behind.

As the game went on, Suga announced, “They’re running out of bullets!” as Team Black regrouped to take on Team Red.

“No bullets? Let’s make a run for it to the camp!” Jennie announced as they dashed away.

“Run! Run!” Team Black yelled.

Jennie instantly jumped into Team Red’s camp, for her team to win the first round.

“Woo!” she yelled and high fived her teammates.

She took off her mask and took a deep breath.

“Victory screech!” she mimicked the Spongebob scene as J-Hope joined her.

Suga took off his mask and fell to his knees, laughing. “Why is this so exhausting?”

‘Round 2’

Soon as the second round began, Team Red pushed Team Black hard as they got more aggressive.

“J-Hope!” Jennie laughed when he began screaming and running to the trees like Suga ordered him.

Jungkook endlessly continued to shoot at J-Hope, while Jennie continued to hide. Seeing J-Hope getting ganged up on, she ran and saved him, grabbing him and making him hide behind a tree so he could calm down.

“Don’t move. Stay there, relax, I got you.” she chuckled and continued shooting at Jungkook.

The game was intense with constant screaming from J-Hope and the sounds of paint bullets flying around.

“Oh, my God...” she laughed as J-Hope continued screaming around.

Before she knew it, Jungkook started going after her as she managed to hide behind a tree, avoiding bullets. But it wouldn’t be too long before her bullets were out and she remained calm, trying to think of a solution.

She shrieked when she noticed him coming her way and she managed to grab a hold of his gun as they stumbled around.

“Ow!” she yelled and fell to the ground, holding her stomach when he pushed the trigger by accident.

“You okay!?” he kneeled down. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry!”

“I’m good, I’m good,”

After realizing she was okay, he went back to win the game for his team, sprinting right over to Team Black’s camp to win the round.

“Ennie~! Ennie no! No! My baby!” Jimin rushed over to her, who was still on the ground. “You killed her! JEON JUNGKOOK~!”

“This boy really shot me in the stomach though...” she groaned and got helped up by Jimin.

After regrouping and taking off the equipment, the members discussed the game, pointing out where they were shot. In the end, Team Red won with 31 respawns which made them the winner.

“Awwwww.” Jimin laughed and turned around.

“It’s okay, guys. We tried. We had fun.” Jennie patted her teammates on the back while Team Red jumped up and down in celebration.

Episode 8

In a continuation of the previous episode, the members wore helmets, knee and elbow pads for this episode. The members would have to find flags and get meal tickets. Some are blank flags so the members individually will have to work hard to find as many flags as they can.

After playing rock, paper, scissors, Jennie, Rapmon, Jimin and Taehyung were on the walking team while Jin, Suga, Jungkook, and J-Hope were able to ride the bikes.

“My legs are killing me.” Jennie sighed as they got in position.

Once the whistle blew, the walking team ran to the mountains. All that was on her mind was finding as many flags as she could. Managing to find one but it was blank, she continued to walk around with a camera following her.

“This is like Running Man. I really want to be in another episode. Running Man, call me! I am ready! Ooh anotha' one!” she grabbed another flag.

She began to walk through the area that Jimin had already been in after he found some more flags, so she had no luck and started searching for another place.

“You mean to tell me that there are no flags around here at all? Come on!” she huffed as she walked around with her aching legs. “I shouldn’t have run.”

She bumped into Taehyung. “You find any?” he asked

“Only two but they’re blank.”

“I still haven’t found anything.” he giggled.

As the treasure hunt went on, Jennie could not for the life of her find anything else and only remained with the two flags. Time was up for the flag hunt and the members revealed the flags that they had.

“Guys, I have three flags.” Jimin took the flags he was hiding from under his hoodie.

“Woooooow.” Jen shook her head

“You have all meal tickets!” Rapmon exclaimed. “Give me. Give me.”

“Count me in.” Jungkook tried to take one but Jimin playfully pushed him away.

“You go. He called me trash.” Jimin accused.

“Wow! Really Jungkook?” Jennie shook her head in disappointment, playing along.

“Trash is too harsh,” Suga added. “That’s too much.”

“When did I say that?” Jungkook slammed his flag on the ground and everyone laughed.

J-Hope picked the flag up to get the sausage flag, claiming it for himself. In the end, Jimin ended up giving Jungkook and Taehyung flags while Rapmon gave Jennie one of his meal flags.

------

Episode 9

Continuing from the previous episode, this time, the members were on edge except for Jungkook because they were going to be bungee jumping. It was 63ft in height which Rapmon explained is the highest in Korea. For this mission, the members would have to express a song title with body language. Once split into two teams, each team will bungee jump while the others from the other team try to guess the song.

“What is this?” Jennie exclaimed.

These missions were getting more and more complex. You want her to risk her life and almost die by jumping from that height and trying to express a song with her body? Goodbye!

“I hate this. I hate this,” she murmured and signed the papers. “Mom, dad, sisters, ARMY, 'errbody, I love y’all but today is the last day of my life and I just want to say that I thank you for making my life fun and I will see y’all again in the afterlife.”

Suga, J-Hope, Jennie, and Jimin stood on the ground as they watched Jin go up. Jennie widened her eyes as she watched him jump and yell “Eat Jin!”

“Oh my God! Do we have to do this!?” she exclaimed.

She was so going to fail this mission because she already knew she would focus on screaming instead.

“This guy...” Jennie exclaimed when Jungkook jumped fearlessly.

Next up was Jen’s team to jump as she made her way up, freaking out.

“Jennie fighting!” the members shouted.

“Oh God...” she exhaled shakily as she looked up at the night sky and city lights.

But when she looked down, her butterflies worsened while Rapmon, V, Jungkook, and Jin stood out to watch.

“I believe in you! Let’s go, Jennie!” V shouted.

“Represent the Golden Duo! You got this!” Jungkook added.

Jumping, she screamed, “Smarties!” until her screaming became high pitched as the members laughed at her suffering.

Tears flowed through her eyes as she was swinging around. She was soon back on the ground, resting her back on a bench.

“I’m alive! Thank you, Jesus,” she covered her face with tears in her eyes. Tears of joy that she survived. “I’m sorry but I couldn’t see anything, I dunno what was going on.”

“How did you feel jumping?” she was asked

“Let’s...not do that again, please. My heart can’t take it.”
