Don't take yesterdays problem into a new day.
Just be happy.

Marketing Tips For IT Companies
Tech marketing encompasses the entire spectrum of marketing techniques.  New, innovative tech startups are often at the cutting edge in terms of their marketing and comms strategies. The more traditional IT services sector has often been found lagging behind when it comes to inventiveness and embracing the latest marketing methods.
There are many reasons for this.  A lot of the traditional tech firms were established in a time before the internet and social media really took off.  They did business with loyal clients for years and business was often won through referrals, word of mouth or traditional sales techniques.  It served them well at the time, which is why their need for the more inventive areas of marketing was ignored.
Now though, IT companies need to get serious about their marketing and embrace the platforms they had avoided in the past to produce results.
Create Video Content
Video is fast becoming one of the most successful marketing tools. You can use it to introduce products, visual case studies or how-to videos.  When producing videos, make sure that they are informative, fun and able to convey your story and brand. IT support companies can benefit from content such as customer testimonials. According to research done by Smart Insights, people will spend an average of 100 minutes a day watching videos by the end of 2021.
Webinars are also a great way to build up your sales funnel as people need to give you their data in exchange for participating. A report by Hubspot found the 73% of B2B marketers saw increased ROI from video.
Influencer Marketing
There are a lot of misconceptions about influencer marketing.  Many people believe that it is simply confined to people bloggers promoting content on YouTube and Instagram feeds. This isnt the case. Many business decision makers look to the experts in their particular sector to discover and recommend new products and technologies.
As other forms of marketing vie for the attention of the target audience, influencer marketing cuts through that noise and provides a level of trust that is difficult to achieve in other ways. A basic influencer marketing campaign includes the following stages:
Identify your buyer personas - create overviews of your ideal target clients.  What is their background, goals and pain points?  Where do they get their information? What format do they prefer to consume information?
Find the influencers - now that you know who you are targeting, you can research the people that they listen to.  This can include publications, individuals, social media accounts and LinkedIn Groups. Who are they following and retweeting? This will provide you with your initial influencer list.
Build your own profile - influencers and experts aren’t just going to promote anyone and everyone who asks.  Their reputation is at stake.  Therefore you need to build your own credibility online through social media and blogs. Quality content and professional expertise will make it far easier to get influencers on board.
Approach influencers - this can take many forms.  You might want to hire them to speak at your event, or to contribute to a whitepaper or news story that you can then use to attract people to download your gated content.

Is it Time to Hire an IT Service for your Small Business?
Many people with small businesses find that they get along just fine handling their own technology and IT services. It’s relatively easy to tackle most problems as they arise, when it comes to things like antivirus software, glitches in programs or apps, and website issues.
However, as your business grows and you integrate more and more into various types of technology (using POS software, transferring data to the cloud, and paying attention to things like SEO and analytics) you may find yourself (and your team) becoming overwhelmed with all the responsibilities associated with your internet and technology usage. You may also worry about the security of your system - is it susceptible to viruses, phishing, or some other more serious type of security breach?
You may find that it’s time to hire an IT service or team to take over your internet and security systems. Having an IT team at your disposal will give you peace of mind that all of your systems are up to date, your software is working efficiently, all of your sensitive and confidential data is protected, you’re free of viruses, malware and other security issues, and that your social media, websites and email are all looking good.
There are lots of great IT staff available out there, from local contractors you can hire, to managed teams available online, through reputable sites like Ribbit Business Solutions, with dedicated, well-trained and experienced staff. Whatever type of IT superstar you’re looking for, whether you need just one employee or a team, you can find them quickly and easily.
IT professionals handle so much more than just antivirus software and the internet. They handle data and analytics, monitor internet speeds and usage; integrate systems into the cloud and sync up programs, social media, websites, email platforms and apps; install and maintain antivirus; handle other data security including web hosting, POS data, domain security, and more; installation and maintenance on software, and so, so much more. If you find yourself inundated with various tasks, hiring an IT professional to take over is such a good idea and a worthy investment. An IT person is arguably one of the most important roles within a business.
Companies who have IT staff on hand are far less likely to experience major security disruptions or incidents, have faster internet (which translates to more productivity and efficiency) and have software, programs and platforms that are all integrated much more seamlessly.
Hiring an IT staff doesn't have to be a hassle. Just look at the many reputable companies for hire online. Whether you need one person or ten, part time or full time, you’ll find the great IT professionals you’re looking for to maintain the security of your business, keep programs running seamlessly, and handle any other IT issues that might come your way.
Hire an IT person to handle all those day to day technology issues so you can focus on running your business.

5 Modern Technologies Every Manufacturing Business Should Look Out For
The manufacturing industry is one of the most profitable in the world. With a worth of over a trillion dollars, it’s easily one of the best industries for businesses to enter. And helping this ever-evolving and growing industry is technology.
Helping manufacturers to increase productivity, gain a vital competitive edge over others and reduce the need for human intervention, there is an exciting future for the industry.
But what are these innovative and exciting technologies that you should watch out for? Here are five that you should keep an eye out for if you’re running a manufacturing business looking towards future grow:
Virtual Reality
Similarly to many industries, virtual reality (VR) is taking many manufacturing businesses by storm. Simplifying product design from the get-go, it’s enabling engineers and designers to create realistic and effective product models that they can utilize to finalize a design before it goes into production.
For example, many automobile manufacturers are using the technology to design and test cars at the initial development stages. This helps to decrease time and cut costs – as well as ensure that the cars are safe for customers.
3D Printing
Many manufacturers are also starting to implement 3D printing within their operations. Not only does it help to make processes cheaper and quicker, but it allows designers to directly test and troubleshoot products before they go into the production stage.
Completed on-site within a short number of days, it takes the pressure off of your workforce and ensures that products are manufactured within a tight time frame.
Collaborative Robots
Also fondly known as cobots, collaborative robots are designed to work alongside humans. With the potential to be worth billions of dollars in the next few years, collaborative robots are rapidly growing in demand. Helping on the assembly line, quality inspections, machine tending, etc. they are very effective for any manufacturing requirement.
Internet of Things
Although this technology has been around for a few years, the constant updates within it make it still prevalent within the manufacturing industry. Enabling manufacturers to connect various devices, it will ensure that all required compliance measures are met,  processes are made more efficient, costs reduced and more innovative products.
Giving businesses access to real-time information, it allows for crucial decisions to be made quickly.
SMART Manufacturing
Another technology specifically designed to create an efficient workplace, SMART manufacturing involves machine learning and analytics. Vital to long-term success, it allows businesses to make future decisions that will benefit the company directly.
Final Thoughts
So, there you go! Those are the top 5 modern technologies that you should look out for within the manufacturing industry within the next few years. Of course, when looking at these, you need to keep in mind that technology alone won’t create a successful business.
You also need to establish goals for business growth, weigh up the pros and cons of each technology, source high-quality materials, work with reliable suppliers and set specific margins for your business.

How Your Small Business Can Save Time
Unfortunately, there will always be 24 hours in each day. It’s impossible to make time, and each minute that passes whilst you sit still and ponder the thought is another minute that’s lost into the abyss of the past. Making the most of your time and becoming as productive as ever should be one of your main priorities within your small business, as this will help you to get as much done as you possibly can in order to further encourage your company to grow and prosper. So, if you feel as though you don’t have a secure handle on your time management and would like to know a little more about how you can take back control, then read on to uncover some of the best tips and tricks that you can implement to start seeing changes in no time at all.
Provide The Right Training
If your staff are not fully aware of what they have to do to complete each task that they are set, then they are essentially falling at the very first hurdle and are bound to take an extraordinary amount of time trying to figure it all out. It’s your responsibility as the boss to provide them with all of the training they need to do their job to the highest possible standard, as you simply cannot just throw them in at the deep end and expect them to thrive. Training should be a constant focus, and you will benefit from regularly testing your employees as this will aid you in discovering any weak points that might need some extra work. Encourage an open atmosphere in which all of your staff can make their voices heard if they are struggling or in need of advice or support, as often people will keep their issues to themselves out of fear of being judged or ridiculed. If your employees know exactly what they are doing, each task will become almost second nature - it’s so much easier to work faster when you’re fully aware of the job at hand.
Outsourcing Certain Tasks
Running your own business requires a lot of effort. There are so many different things that you have to think about, and it can easily become completely overwhelming. Some tasks that you must get done will not suit your own or even your employees skills and experience, so trying to get them done takes a whole lot longer than you might like. Finding a way around these issues needn’t be tough, as you can outsource almost every service and job! Whether you want to organise your payroll and benefits in Provo UT or hire professional cleaners to blitz your office rather than having your staff do it all, there are so many choices for you to make the most of. Be sure to do some research to find the best respected businesses to use so that you can actually benefit from the service rather than encounter more time consuming problems!
So, what are you waiting for?

How To Make An At-Home Business Appear More Professional
When running an at-home business, there will be certain things that might put down the professionality of your home. Sometimes those who you network with or deal with as clients may think slightly less of you if you don’t appear to have a working office and instead run your business from home. However, that doesn’t mean that you’re not any less successful. Here’s how to make an at-home business appear more professional.
Go Virtual
When you can get a literal office or receptionist, why not go virtual? Many businesses who are working from a home or a venue that isn’t a working office, will have a virtual aspect to their business. A virtual office like yourvirtualofficelondon.co.uk is a way of impressing your clients and hopefully will push your business to work on a professional level and to develop further. Some of the benefits are exactly like what you’d have in a physical office, even down to the virtual meeting rooms. The business world is certainly using technology to their advantage and having your clients meet with you in a virtual space is going to save them time and effort in having to and do the travel to come and meet you in person.
Get A PO Box And Landline
To make your business appear more legitimate, it’s good to get some physical contact details. Getting a PO Box will cost a certain amount each month, but it can be handy to keep your personal home address from your business. The PO Box can be local to you, and then all your business literature can go to this letterbox which you can then pick up once a week or as regularly as you want it to be. A landline is also a good shout, even if you have a virtual receptionist at the end of it. They can screen calls and help you manage the daily incoming calls that you’re getting.
Order Business Cards
Business cards are going to look impressive when you’re interacting with your clients at events and networking opportunities. You may work at home, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be the same as other businesses and have quality business cards that show off your logo and have your contact details on there.
Improve Your Website
Don’t forget that social media and the internet is a fantastic source for any business. You should be looking at your website, and social media handles to see what can be improved. Get in a website designer to help build on the vision you have for your brand and business going forward. The more professional you can look, the better it will be for your business. Be active on your social media and continue to have an active voice in your industry to stay relevant and to become an expert in your field. Promote and push your services!
Just because you have an at-home business, doesn’t mean you can’t compete with the rest of the time. Use these tips to excel in your company to the next level.

How to Keep Your Business Ticking Over
Things might be going well with your business right now, but there’s no guarantee that things will continue to be just as rosy in the future. To ensure that your outlook is as promising as the present, you need to be doing certain things that’ll keep your business ticking over well. It’s all about planting seeds that will have a long-term positive impact on your company. Below, we take a look at a few tried and tested methods that’ll help to keep all areas of your business performing well one, three, and five years down the line.
Continuous Hiring
It’s not often discussed, but employers are having a hard time at the minute finding the talented staff to fill their roles. There is a skills shortage, and it affects many different industries and companies. If you’ve put together a solid team of employees, then well done, but you won’t be able to rest on your laurels. If they’re talented, then who knows when another company might come along and poach them? You can keep this threat at bay by treating staff well, offering good salaries, and so on, but you should also be “continually hiring.” If a talented prospect comes onto your radar, then bring them on board.
Under the Hood
For your company to be at its best, it needs to have the right systems in place. This will allow employees and the business as a whole to run smoothly. Even if things are going well now, it could all be derailed if you hit a problem “under the hood.” Take your IT, for example. It’s important that you’re working with a company that offers IT Consulting and Strategy services. This will help to ensure that your tech system works for your company not just today, but into the future too. It’ll allow you to focus on the tasks that you can contribute to your business growth, safe in the knowledge that the important tasks have been taken care of.
New Services
Everything’s going well with your business. But that’s just for 2019. Will the same products and services that you’re offering today but as important in 2024? Possibly, but possibly not. It’s important that you’re keeping an eye on the future of your industry -- you can find projections in trade magazines and at conferences -- and then preparing your business to take those changes in its stride.
Continuous Improvements
And it’s not just in the core services that you’ll want to improve things. You should also look at your broader business aspects, such as, say, your marketing, customer service, and so on. None of these things will be perfect; all can be improved!
Taking Breaks
Finally, make sure that you’re looking after yourself, and taking breaks. Even if you love working twelve hour days, if you want your business to be successful in the long-term, then you have to take breaks. You’ll only run the risk of burning out if you don’t. It’s important to make sure that you’re working sustainably.
