You knew that your husband was doing this for your own good and you loved him very much for doing so but you really liked tequila. On a daily basis, you are relatively shy and soft-spoken and reserved but when the alcohol hits your system, you have no shame and go absolutely nuts.

You and Jake loved to dance, it was one of your favorite past times together and the both of you would often collapse into each other's arms from exhaustion from the amount of dancing that you did. You would dance with him while the both of you cooked and cleaned and especially when a silly song comes on the radio or TV.

Jake had dragged you off the table and slung you over his shoulder like a bag of potatoes, carrying you away, shouting at the onlookers. Let's just say that you and husband are now no longer welcomed in that establishment.

“Fine, one shot, that's all, then you’re going slow on the drinks there alright?”

Now, what Jake should have done is poured out the shot for you and hid the bottle from your stupid ass. But instead, he hands you the bottle and walks into the bathroom to change. You grin at your chance and decide it was time to mess around with your husband. You pour a shot, lick the salt, down it and suck on the lime. When Jake didn’t appear, you cautiously poured another shot and repeated the steps again, eyeing the door. You sucked on the lime as you placed the bottle back and washed the shot glass.

“Ready to go?” You felt Jake’s lips on the base of your neck as he turned you around to face him. You stare at him, lime still in your mouth and he leans in and grabs the lime with his teeth, dropping it in the trash can beside you. You raise an eyebrow and you find your lips curling into a smirk.

“Stop, or else date night is going to take a very different turn, amor.” Jake mirrored your smirk, putting on his newsboy cap and you rolled your eyes, grabbing his hand and your heels.

Jake watches as you open the window of the cab and let your fingers be grazed by the wind, your legs draped over his thighs. You weren’t afraid to let the wind catch your hair, blowing your curls around your face as you blissfully smell the London air. Your lips twisted in an enchanted smile as you tipped your head back.

Jake can’t help but admire you, his wife, his everything. Your love had arrived unannounced to him, like an uninvited guest to his troubled heart. He was glad you decided to stay, to shower him with all you had and he feared that his place would get taken by someone else, someone more worthy than he ever would be.

But that fear drove him to love you more, to cherish every moment you ever had with him with more fervor. With that, he would do anything and everything for you, knowing that you revolved around his little chaotic world.

By the time you and Jake had arrived at the club, you could feel the alcohol numbing your senses. Jake had yet to notice the sudden change as he led you through the doors that open up to a dance floor. You stared in awe at the size of the floor before you and turned to grin at Jake who was already looking at you with a smile on his face.

Jake pulled you towards the bar and ordered as you watched people dance. The atmosphere was exhilarating and you could feel your body wanting to move with the music as its bass courses through you. You close your eyes and let the music envelope you, swaying slightly with its rhythm, your brain voiding all the sounds of people around you.

You raised your hand, flashing the ring that Jake had slipped onto your finger a few years ago.

“I wonder who the lucky bastard is. Nevertheless, I bet I could do better. Care to let me try?” Jake’s lips quirked into a smile, and you feigned hesitation slightly before taking his hand, letting him lead you to the dance floor.

Once you both were at the center, Jake spins you around and you twirl away from him but he catches your hand before you could get too far away. He pulls you towards him and you spin into his chest. Jake smirked as you kicked your leg up and let your back dip back with his supporting arm. You snap back up and search Jake’s eyes and all you see is mischief.

“Oh I can assure you that you’ll find what you’re looking for if you stare a little longer, princessa.” he leaned in and whispered, leaving tingles on your ear.

Before you could retort, he repeats the spin when you grab his opposite hand, twirling you away from him. Pulling you close again, Jake hooks his right arm under your back and left arm, picking you up and swirling you around, a move that the both of you perfected after watching a movie. A crowd starts building around you and Jake and cheers erupt around the dance floor with the move that Jake and you just pulled.

Jake turns you around and you grind into him as he guides your hips to the rhythm of the music with his body, his arms and your arms crossed in front of you. As the music starts to dip to its end, you turn and Jake dips you down again, running his hand up your thigh and pulling you back.

Suddenly, you were interrupted by a sharp ring and Jake groaned, slipping his hand into his pocket to pull out his phone, glaring at it.

That was one thing about dancing with Jake, you’d almost forget that he is THE Moon Knight. You dreaded the sound of his phone, always knowing that your husband would be off to somewhere, doing something entirely dangerous. He was looking at you now, brown doe eyes big and you forced a small smile.

“I gotta go take this, mi alma, give me five.” Jake said, giving you a kiss as you nod.

Adjusting was the only way you could keep up with Jake Lockley. He always promised that he’d be back, never said goodbye and so far, he has never failed to keep the promise. You try not to think about what would happen if he ever decided to break that promise but you trusted him enough to make things work.

You watch him walk quickly to the exit before making your way past a bunch of overeager dancers to the DJ’s booth where they were taking song requests.

“Hello there, desi girl!” exclaimed the DJ in an instant before you could say anything.

You squinted and leaned closer to the DJ trying to observe his features.

Quickly, you had pushed your previous request aside and gave him a list of songs that you wanted to surprise Jake with. The DJ listed every single one of the songs down, grinning from ear to ear.

Your heart is warm as you make your way to the bar, glancing around for any sign of your vigilante husband. When the coast was clear, you pulled a tiny wad of cash out of your bra and signal for the bartender.

Clearly the girls around you knew the choreography too as all of you matched your dance moves to the lyrics of the song. As the song speeds up, you swung your hips harder and shimmied your chest to the beat. There were claps and hoots from everyone around you and your dance group grew larger by the second.

You found yourself laughing and dancing with one of the girls as your arms fly around rhythmically. Your eyes suddenly caught a man staring at you from across the dancefloor and you knew you were in trouble when you saw the smirk curled onto his lips.

Jake watched with dark eyes and a knowing smile as you danced theatrically to your favorite song in the middle of the dance floor. He knew that you had been sneaking drinks with the way your arms and legs moved in sync. The man could read body language like it was an open book and the way your face lit up was a telltale sign that you had been drinking a little more than you should have.

Fortunately for you, Jake had a major weakness, and when you used it against him, it rendered him completely useless. You lowered your head and looked at him through your lashes, winking before throwing your head back in a laugh. It's a move that definitely got him to his knees and friendly anger surged through him as he shook his head.

The song changed and you beckoned Jake towards you with your index finger. You gulped as your husband walked towards you like a predator that was threatening to pounce. For a man who never fails to buy you flowers every Sunday, he sure looked scary.

tsukishima is scared of rollarcoasters but just says they give him a headache as an excuse

they get into arguments over the most stupid things and they continue the arguments into practice until daichi yells at them LMAOO

oh god can you imagine them on a 4-way facetime call ??

you can’t tell me they don’t have a minecraft server

they have a shared playlist and it’s a mess and like 50+ hours long

i’d like to think that tsukishima was the first one to learn how to drive which, in turn, means that the group begs him to take them places

daichi definitely forces them to do group bonding so they have a sleepover

they end up going to 7/11 at 3am and they all have way too much energy (except tsukishima who just desperately wants to go to bed)

kageyama can hold a handstand for an extremely long amount of time

tsukishima will avidly pretend he does not see hinata since he’s not in his line of vision LMAO

yamaguchi and kageyama live pretty close to each other so sometimes they’ll go on walks or go get snacks and sit on the curb

hinata gets songs stuck in his head all the time and by the end of practice, everyone has it stuck in their head too (and it’s always the most ridiculous songs lol)

cue everyone at practice mumbling the backyardigans theme song lmaoooo

yamaguchi is so accident prone like this boy gets bruises and cuts so often

kageyama likes feeding ducks at the park

they’re all double jointed

tsukishima and yamaguchi LOVE going to the movies and sometimes will purposely go see bad ones so they can laugh

they all like playing uno but get so competitive for absolutely no reason HAHA

yamaguchi owns a record player and whenever one of the other boys comes over, they ask him to play something on it

i feel like they can all play at least one instrument

they trip each other in the hallways and it’s SO FUCKING FUNNY
