Whenever I spot a sick succulent, I take action right away: whether to remove its rotten part to prevent further infection or to move it to a more suitable location. Oftentimes it dictates whether a succulent will stay alive or not, so don't waste any time when you're tying to save a succulent!

The ultimate DONTDO when you're trying to save a poor planty soul is repotting them. I've met so many succulent hobbyist who told me that they repotted their succulents because they look sad or dead. More than 90% of them told me later on that the doctors had tried their best and their succulents didn't make it.

Repotting a succulent while it's injured or in a bad shape will only cause further root damage, and will worsen it's already bad situation. So no no repotting when it's dying plis!
