Some funny Syah information

The general church worships the gods and perform the burials. At least 2 Syah members are assigned to big churches and put the souls of the dead in the rocks so later on they can exorcise them at the temple. Vice versa 2 members of the church are assigned to bring the Syah the stones in which the souls are trapped.

They are mostly unaware of the Syah, only knowing about them since they produce the fiber from the Ziff’s (a typical desert bug) exoskeleton. This fiber is made to create durable and hardened clothes that can even regulat the wearer’s body temperature and are harder to penetrate.

Who are they

(Just silly little guys) The Syah are a subcategory of the church. They are in charge of the Ziff fiber production although that is a facade for their actual purpose is to exorcise the souls of the deceased, at least the ‘bad’ part that is called Mer. If Mer aren’t exorcised they accumulate and ‘misfortune’ strikes. A few are qualified to be part of the Syah since their lifestyle in the isolated Serh desert is more difficult than the one of an ordinary priest. They also must be skilled in the ways of a more peculiar exorcism(which aren’t the ones typically used by priests since to properly exorcise) (basically they have to sing and dance💀)

Ziff

The Ziffs resemble the likes of scarabs, the different colours differentiating the two at first glance.

In the early stages of life Ziff have a signature green colour to them and are of small scale, just a bit bigger than a bean. As they get older and shed their exoskeleton they start having a more yellow colour to them. In this stage they are about one fingers length. In the last stage of their life their exoskeleton has darkened, almost the colours of midnight. The biggest recorded Ziff was the length of a palm or around 15 cm lenght and 7 cm wide.

Green garments are traditionally worn by the extremely wealthy as a symbol of status since 1m of fabric is around 1000- 1500 exoskeleton and natural dye of the Ziff. Those of a smaller rank may afford yellow or black garments (depending on wealth)

Syah members start off with simple black robes but over time they get changed with ones made of the Ziffs black thread. In the day(although they usually go out at night) they wear white-creme fabrics so that they don’t attract as much heat from the sun. A mask (usually with a pair of googles) is an essential component in their outings, one which prevents to sand hit their face or enter their eyes.

Villagers from villages nearby and Syah members wear flowy clothes and fabrics. Hats or scarfs around the head and face are essential to not get sunstroke. Shoes are light and commonly aren’t worn in houses.

Houses, in the Seh desert and its surrounding, are made of clay and partially submerged in the earth for natural cooling. Traditionally the walls have a slight blue colour to them as a way of replicating the sea.

Water is a the most valuable resource in the Seh desert. Villages that are situated near a river are wealthier since they sell some of their water to the Syah since no other big group of people are able to survive there. By selling the Ziff thread and purifying Mer stones they are able to afford living in the desert.

It was forgotten many many years ago. Scholars are still researching it to figure out what it is, how to access it, and what it does.

Sins blood: Black

Royal Blood: Golden

Heaven:

How do they use it:

To use it they have to draw blood (usually by slicing their palm)

What do they use it for:

Advanced healing spells called Blood Binds where the person's blood helps to seal large wounds and replenish the person's strength and blood

Blood manipulation: create, shape, and manipulate blood

Who can use it:

Blood magic connects back to the 7 original sins and virtues. As a result of this only Royals (Duke/Duchess, King/Queen, Prince/Princess) can use blood magic. It also causes the Sins and Virtues to stop aging at 25

I’ve mentioned in the past, the main thing that made me start playing FFXIV properly was seeing people’s character designs. I’m still honestly blown away by the creativity and range of approaches people bring to this game, so I’ve decided to be an absolute madwoman and break my favorites into subcategories to share with anyone curious.

And to be clear. I’m not going to do something so broad as “oh top ten in-general :3″ because that would be sensible. No, I’m going to do it for all the current combat jobs. And all the current races. And different genders within the races and combat jobs as things stand. And I’m going to make a model-focus subcategory. And there are gonna be LOTS. Because I seriously cannot understate how inspired I’ve been by this community, and after however many years I just feel the need to vomit some incredible visuals I’ve encountered at you guys lol.

NOTE: In an abundance of caution, I want to stress this list isn’t a value judgment on anyone but a fragment of things that blew me personally away. Looking at the DRK sections it will be immediately clear that I Illegible really like that edgy dark knight aesthetic lmao, but there are plenty of non-edgy dark knights that I also love to bits. Other people might not like edgy dark knights. Due to a combination of size and search constraints plus trying to keep gear somewhat varied, these glamours are just what wound up on this particular list of mine. I could make another list one day. Contains abuse & rape. fanfiction.net/s/5057112 my thoughts: I remember thinking this felt like a friggin... graphic Law & Order: SVU episode where Dean was the victim/survivor & instead of following the officers, we followed him. Dark and riveting. It’s extremely Dean-centric and full of Dean whump too - I know I’m all about whumping the fuck outta Sam but every once in awhile I can surprise y’all, right? Beware this fic’s a WIP but at 238k words you got more than a full story out of it - while the last chapter is an abrupt stop, after a two-second think I was totally fine with it as there wasn’t much of a cliffhanger or anything.

You’ll also be shattered by this next fic, another one of my GOAT fic recs, and a glacially slow burn in the midst of this epic (nearly double the length of Anna Karenina) of trauma & healing, companionship & trust, ugh I could blab for days bout this one:

Freak Camp: A Monster by Any Other Name series by Brosedshield, LaviniaLavender, whereupon (AO3). Rated NC-17, Dean/Sam (unrelated AU), 655k. Summary: Our story takes several steps away from canon. Dean Winchester is an only child. Mary died November 2nd, 1983, but neither in a fire nor on the ceiling. Five-year-old Sam is deported to a concentration camp for monsters. But the core remains the same. This is a love story. ao3.org/series/5884 Listed in my top favorite SPN fics ever. This slavery fic breaks you (Part 2) and then builds you back up piece by piece (Part Three). It’s a 655k epic that’s been going for about 10 years by the authors. It earns every word. It’s an incredible story of abuse, recovery, rehabilitation, independence and eventually love/romance. I’ve reread Part Three several times. Chapter 25 is one of my favorite Christmas stories. An end of an era with this fic matches Supernatural’s own  announcement that season 15 will be its last I’m not crying you’re crying.

It was on Sale by HazelDomain (AO3). Rated NC-17, Dean/Sam, Dean/Sam/Cas, Sam/Cas (unrelated AU), 131k words. Summary:  Dean’s been hunting solo ever since his dad died, and he knows damn well he’s running on borrowed time. The simple solution was to buy a slave, someone who could watch his back and help with the heavy lifting. The man he finds is young, healthy, obedient, and inexplicably cheap. And that’s just the beginning. Dean figured he’d deal with the catch when he found it, but he’s a little busy with screaming ghosts, crazy doctors, lying housewives, geeky witches, sociopathic plutocrats, mind melds, celebratory pie, surprise blowjobs, and oh yeah, a surly angel. ao3.org/works/6037312 This story was intense and compelling. In particular I remember the sense of equality and trust built up and developed between Sam and Dean over time and during cases was super satisfying. Also the just ending rocked my world!

Next up, I just realized I’ve never written up a full rec/commentary blurb for this fic. I’d only linked to it under Freak Camp like “read this if you liked this fic” so /drumroll/ here’s the full write-up!:

Are You Afraid of the Dark by lukinha_jesus. Rated NC-17, Dean/Sam, 341k words. Summary:  It should have been just another birthday, but it wasn't. When Sam disappears mysteriously, John, Dean and Bobby team up to start a desperate search for him. Meanwhile, Sam wakes up in a strange, cold room, where no one talks to him, although he knows he's being watched. He's just a boy, and when things go terribly wrong, can Dean help him survive the darkness that creeps through his skin and nestles in his bones? This is a story of great darkness and pain, but also of great love and comfort. ao3.org/works/3162539 my thoughts: So this fic is a lil more sensational than my other recs where you’re like “what the everloving f*ck” about the villains’ sadism, but the recovery & comfort parts just got me. I was emotionally invested like whoa. And I deeply appreciated the slow burn, specifically Dean being scared something between them would further damage or traumatize Sam. I really appreciate it when authors understand what dangerous waters they’re treading when they feature both rape recovery and romance in their stories.

Summary:  AU Mary and John adopt two boys named Sam and Dean, who have been severely abused and refuse to be separated. However these boys may turn out to be more trouble than they're worth. Limp!Hurt!Sam Protective!Hurt!Dean Non-graphic sexual/physical abuse fanfiction.net/s/4975188 my thoughts: it’s been awhile since I read this but I remember enough to warn y’all - brace for extreme cuddles. Like they’d be sweaty and desperate for space in real life. But it’s not real life, thank goodness, and these cuddly bros have NO expiration date 😂 Pretty basic prose & this author lays the drama down thick but I was still into it! Also their complementary psychic powers were pretty cool and interesting. Now that I think about it, this might not be a fic about recovery (from rape… I think) so much as the journey to get traumatized Sam+Dean to trust Mary+John enough to start recovering. Good fic worth trying out!

With Spit and a Prayer. NC-17, 10k, Gen. Summary: The real tragedy is not the act itself, but the mess it leaves behind. https://amalthia.mediawood.net/ebooks/viewstory.php?sid=639 my thoughts: Sad and realistic, this is a disturbing but honest take on how canon!Sam and canon!Dean would perhaps deal with this nightmare scenario of possessed!Dean raping Sam (and Dean). I marked this as gen because while there’s incest, it’s rape, and then there’s another instance where it’s like... coercive bc they’re both so fucked up from the rape. Basically the truth of the matter emerges that they’re not (and never have been) attracted to each other, so I put that as gen in my mind. This is a very dramatic, dark and twisted story at first, but that makes the recovery (when a lovely OC therapist is introduced to the story) all the more satisfying.

[Oh my gosh, anon. I suck. Seriously. I’ve been trying to sit down and get this done from the moment I got your ask and I just haven’t been able to do it. Anyway, hopefully you see this. Thank you for your patience.]

Little do you know how long I have been waiting for this moment. This is my time to shine! Jk, but I would be happy to give recs. It’s a delight. I started going through my MDL and realized just how many dramas in this genre I have actually seen and realized I would probably have to trim my recommendations somewhat not to seem like a crazy person. Also I have subcategories! Yay!

(I’ve included the *** next to titles that I have watched multiple times or that stand out from the rest of the pack.)

First of all, Movie Melos.

Sometimes you don’t have time for 16-30 hours of drama. Sometimes you want to get all your feels out in a single sitting and move on with your life. That’s where movies are so helpful. My favorite bite-sized melos are:

Always*** – An ex-con trying to get his life together falls in love with a blind woman, but his efforts to help her recover her sight might drag him right back into the violence he’s tried to escape.

Shoot My Heart – A young heir is forced into a mental hospital by his rich family where he meets a disturbed young man. They become friends, try to protect each other, and eventually escape. This one has a bit more of a comedic element to it than the other movies I’m recommending, but there’s plenty of the melo tone as the movie goes on.

Will You Be There? – After finding out that he’s dying of cancer, a man travels through time to beg his younger self to save the life of his first love.

Butterfly Sleep – This is a Japanese movie, but it also stars Korean actor Kim Jae Wook, who recently got a boost in popularity from Her Private Life. The movie revolves around a poor young man from Korea who ends up living with an older woman, a novelist who has just discovered she is in the early stages of Alzheimer’s, and the passionate relationship that develops between the two as he helps her finish what will be her final book. #tragedy_tag

High Quality, Human Melodramas

So, this category is for if you want something with all the emotional gut punch of a really wild family drama, but you also want your melos to have actual artistic merit so when you tell your non-drama watching friends and family members about them they don’t end up losing respect for your taste.

Just Between Lovers – This is the story of two young people involved in and scarred by the same horrific accident, but survived and end up finding solace in one another as they deal with their combined traumas. If you’ve seen this drama around the kdramasphere on tumblr you might have seen a lot of gifs of the soft romance. Don’t be fooled though. The romance is indeed wonderful, but the themes are heavy and it can be rough sit.

My Mister*** – I really am just looking for every possible opportunity to recommend this drama. It has supplanted my former favorites and become my top drama of all time. It’s about two people, a troubled young woman in her 20′s and a structural engineer in his 40′s who have become beaten down and broken by life. Their two lives end up intersecting and they develop a really complex friendship that changes both of their lives. Acting, writing, directing…I have nothing bad to say about My Mister. This drama is actually perfect. 

The Smile Has Left Your Eyes – Do you like your melos a bit murdery? I know I sure do. Give me a sociopath any day of the week and I’ll say, “Thank you. I’ll take two.” This drama is about a young man who might be a monster. He becomes a detectives prime suspect in a murder investigation. At the same time he meets the detectives younger sister and they begin to fall in love. #tragedy_tag If this sounds like your thing, but you don’t like super sad endings check out Hello Monster, also starring Seo In Guk.

Secret Love Affair – I think it’s probably safe to say this drama is considered a modern kdrama classic, and for good reason. A story revolving around a woman who gave up her dreams for security, trapped in a loveless marriage, who meets a piano savant from an extremely underprivileged background and he sets off a spark for passion, music and love that she hasn’t felt in a long time. This is a quiet, pensive drama with a lot of wonderful music and atmosphere. YMMV depending on your tolerance for cheating and a slow-burn pace.

Alright, Cut the Crap Jona, Show Me the Extra Soapy Guilty Pleasure Dramas We All Know You Like…

Maybe you don’t go in for this type of self-conscious, “serious” drama watching. You’re going to watch these things in the sanctity of your own room and never tell a soul about them. Or perhaps you’ve evolved past needing other people’s approval to enjoy the things you like. Good for you, I say! As it should be. In that case, I have some top shelf makjang crack to deal you. This is the part of the list where the sliding scale of quality gets a little wobbly. Most of these shows contain a little, if not a lot, of crazysauce. All of them are over-the-top melo fun.

Baker King Kim Tak Gu – A drama about the illegitimate son of a conglomerate CEO who has inherited his preternatural baking abilities looking for his place in a family that will never acknowledge him. Yeah, the premise is pretty “what”? When I first watched this drama I thought it was supposed to be a satire of the makjang genre. To this day I’m not sure how seriously this drama actually takes itself. What I will say is it’s hella entertaining, even as it piles on more than it’s share of craziness (machinations, murder, affairs, chaebol fuckery, love polygons, gangsters, birth secrets, and on and on.) I was surprisingly invested and remarkably satisfied by the ending.

Ms. Perfect – This drama is something of a gothic romance/makjang melo mash up. It involves a woman whose marriage shatters just as she loses her home and finds herself desperate to take care of her family. She’s enticed by a mysterious woman to live with her in her huge house, but this stranger has eerie motivations of her own. Really fun, weird show. But brace yourself to be blue-balled by the romance. It’s one steamy make out session from being noona-romance catnip. 

Money Flower*** – I unironically love this drama. It’s very close to the platonic ideal of the Revenge Melo. It involves a Dantes-esque male lead, Kang Pil Joo, who is willing to destroy himself to enact his multi-decade revenge on a wealthy family that took everything from him. He is the shadow of a spoiled young heir who he plans to use to take down the whole evil empire of Chungha group, but in order to do that he has to orchestrate the heir’s marriage with the innocent daughter of a powerful politician, the woman who Pil Joo himself is in love with.

That Winter, The Wind Blows – This one is a lurid conman tail about a gambler who, in his attempts to pay back a dangerous gangster out for his life, pretends to be the prodigal brother of a blind heiress. He tries to get the money and skip town, but ends up falling in love with the mark which comes with a host of other complications, not the least of which is she thinks he’s her brother. This one is high on the guilty-pleasure-o-meter for me.

Come and Hug Me – Some people might disagree with my putting this one on here, but for me the premise is too wildly melodramatic to omit. The leads start out as childhood sweethearts, but the problem is his father is a deranged serial killer and her parents end up two of his victims. As adults he becomes a detective trying to make up for his father’s legacy of cruelty and she becomes a famous actress like her mother. Traumas resurface when she becomes the target of an apparent copycat and their past connection becomes the fixation of a ruthless tabloid journalist.

Thank You – After his fiancee dies of cancer, a Doctor travels to a remote island to fulfill her last wish–to help the family of a little girl the late fiancee was responsible for inadvertently infecting with HIV. Unexpectedly he finds himself attracted to the girl’s single mother. However, he will have to contend with the prejudices of the island people about AIDS and the reappearance with the girl’s father. This one is as heavy as it sounds, and the oldest drama on this list, from 2007, with all the idiosyncrasies that go along with older dramas. But it’s remarkably well done. From the same writer of a bunch of classic melodramas (I’m Sorry, I Love You; A Love To Kill; Innocent Man; Uncontrollably Fond, etc) but this is my personal favorite of hers.

The Last Empress – Okay, I couldn’t omit this one. I tried. Average musical actress Oh Sunny winds up married to the Emperor in an alternate history version of Korea and becomes embroiled in the machinations of the corrupt royal family. With a nice side helping of revenge plot. It’s demonstrably not a good show. It’s one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever seen. But it had me hooked early on and then I couldn’t get myself free. What a magnificent train wreck this drama was. If you’re looking for problematic nonsense melos that were MASSIVE hits in Korea and you’re torn between this and Baker King, go with the silly bread show and keep this one in your back pocket.

Fated to Love You – This one is probably the most off-brand on the list, because it leans heavily on the comedic tone, especially for the first half. There’s a definite turn at the midpoint of the drama where it becomes MUCH more melodramatic (with all the tropes you expect to go along with that), but I think it pulls of the transition impressively well. Besides, it’s a fun watch with a fluffy feelgood ending with a bow on top. It’s a dash of sugar for your melodrama sojourn, a genre that admittedly can be a bit of a bummer.

Backstory: Changes with each iteration

1st + 2nd iteration - Max Dragon

Max Dragon is the prince of dragons. Well, a version of dragons that are part human and primarily look like humans until they're capable of transforming at the age of twelve. Max and his twin Giancarlo were the subjects of a prophecy that they could kill a dark dragon known as Ken. Ken attempted to assassinate the royal twins during their first public appearance as literal infants.

The King and Queen decided the best course of option for their children's survival was to send the twins away to live amongst humans. They were given to two guardians who would take them away. Max's guardian was a twelve year old boy named Jake (renamed Valen in later iterations) who descended from the family of a dragon that had married a wizard and not a human.

Jake leaves the hidden paradise island of dragons and runs away to the human world with baby Max. He hopes to reunite with a distant human relative that will help him raise Max in secret. Unfortunately, Ken is hot on his heels with the belief he has both infants. Jake spends months running from Ken but a recent encounter leaves him gravely injured. With a stroke of luck, he makes it to his human relative and stresses the importance of Max and his protection. With his dying breath, Jake obscures Max from Ken's sights and succumbs to his injuries.

Max is raised by Jake's relative known as Old Man Jenkins. They don't have a good relationship since Jenkins didn't want the responsibility of taking care of Max. It's a better relationship than the one they have with the other villagers. Max is ostracized by the villagers for his unusual eyes, his mysterious origins and because he lives with the odd hermit. As such, he's lonely most of his youth. He joins a secret organization of rangers to develop some of his skills and also meets pure dragons that he has an automatic connection with.

Things change when Max is 11 as the village leader figures out Max is working with the rangers to overthrow him. He sends men to trap Max inside a burning building in order for him to have a terrible death. However, Max's heritage allows him to survive the fire. Max is confused but puts it on hold to effectively end the reign of the village head. On the eve of his 12th birthday, Old Man Jenkins reveals Max's origin and how he came to take care of him. Max, with the Old Man's permission, decides to return to his home, reclaim his title and kill Ken. His adventure begins.

The adventure includes finding his brother, meeting mermaids and their princess Zelda that he grows affection for, returning home, traveling to different worlds and times, war, loss, love, clones, truth of a clone-triplet situation and meeting an evil alternate self of his.

3rd iteration - Max Darwin

Max Darwin is a human boy who lost his parents to a teacher who had become obsessed with him. He's a quadruplet - Giancarlo, Sehel and the official appearance as a sibling with Halt - but is distraught since the other three are in comas since the attack by the teacher. Max is a closed off boy that Jake Anderson, legal guardian and cousin, struggles with since he knows Max is just hiding his pain.

Max meets Zelda and the two have a typical teenage coming of age story where they begin to open up to each other and fall in love until news break out that his obsessed teacher has escaped prison and is most likely searching for him. Then it becomes a thriller.

Maxiel "Max" Garwin is the latest iteration that has subcategories: the king/prince, the God, the damaged soul and the assassin.

King category: King Maxiel Ilian Draconian

Maxiel I. Draconian is the Dragon Witch-King of the country of Draconia in the No. 6 fanfiction Children's War (first fanfiction appearance of the character!). He lost his father at a young age, before his father could choose a successor. So he and his brothers became the Four Kings, ruling the country until an invasion from a foreign country's king led to their deaths(?)

God: Leixam, 12th God, "Maxiel"

Leixam - Leixam is one of the Elder Gods in the No. 6 fanfiction universe that makes his first appearance in the OC-centric Serendipity: Through the Eyes From Above. He is initially an apathetic, bored deity until he becomes involved in the love story of Nezumi and Shion. He goes through great lengths to ensure their happy ending, messing with the natural order in order to do so. To summarize, he's a big NezuShi shipper.

12th God - 12th God is a part of a large pantheon of gods that has been helping humanity for centuries. Unlike his fellow deities, 12th God likes to spend his days disguised as a human and chilling with them. He meets an interesting village boy named Nath, who is a complete atheist. 12th God grows fond of Nath and is distraught when Nath catches a terrible plague that kills his family and nearly kills him. 12th God spirits Nath away to the realm of the gods and gives him the gift of immortality since he can't cure the plague, as it was another god's doing. Nath initially hates immortality and is rattled by finding out gods are real. He grows thankful of his new life and stays with 12th God for centuries. Forces threaten to tear them apart such as jealous gods, amnesia, near loss of immortality and, oddly enough, death.

Another version of 12th God has him meet a modern day Nath - short for Nathaniel - under the human alias Maxiel. The two met at several points in Nath's human life while "Maxiel" was fighting a celestial war. The two became a couple a year after Nath divorced his wife and they lived together for decades. They had several demigod children - none of them born in a traditional way - and fun adventures.

However, 12th God finally realizes one day that his Nath has become old. Despite Nath's insistence, he remains by his side with the promise to immortalize his soul after his death. Unfortunately for the duo, others want Nath's soul and immortality seems less likely to happen.

"Maxiel Nikas" - "Maxiel Nikas" is not a god like the previous versions but he's not completely human either. He was created as an Irregular weapon with the power to implant, erase and manipulate memories. For the power to manifest, he has to have physical contact with the person. He weaponizes his power in order to complete his mission.

The damaged soul: Maxiel Hadriel Garwin-Russo

Maxiel H. Garwin-Russo - Maxiel is the son of a wealthy CEO and an international actor. Like most of the other incarnations, he is born with other siblings. This time, he's a quintuplet with the same brothers plus a younger, quintuplet sister Gwendolyn. For reasons not to be told to avoid spoilers, he ends up in the streets where he meets Zelda and their love story begins anew.

The Assassin: Maxiel Garwin

Maxiel Garwin - Max has been an assassin since he was seven, eliminating an entire crime organization that killed his parents, sold his brothers and kept him as a slave. He was found by two men, Jason and his younger brother Ken who, instead of doing the right thing and sending Max to therapy, recruited him as an assassin for their organization.

He does pretty awful acts in his line of work until he disappears at the age of seventeen and reappears at age nineteen with an interesting case of amnesia and a bullet that should've killed him. Instead of letting him go, Jason takes advantage of the amnesia to convince Max that he is his father and Max is fiercely loyal to the organization. He brainwashes Max with falsehoods before he allows him to interact with others.

As this happens, "Felix" wants to create the Black Jokers, a group of 4 individuals that they can use to assassinate anyone they please. "Felix" wants the amnesiac Max to be the leader, to Jason's anger since he wants to have Max completely under his finger before releasing him. After a threat, Max is released and allowed to join the Black Jokers.

The story involves friendship, experimentation, fake deaths, hurt and comfort, child abuse, manipulation, fragmented memories, more mature content, quintuplets, racism, etc. I can't divulge more without spoiling anything but I can say that therapists should come out more often.

Love interest: Max, in many iterations, is either bisexual or ace. Bi!Max is present in the fourth iterations with the exception of King Maxiel Ilian Draconia and "Maxiel Nikas". Those two are asexual and have no love interest. Hell, the war that led to the downfall of King Maxiel was his insistence on not getting married and a spurned man deciding to try to take him as a spouse by force. "Maxiel Nikas" doesn't have any romantic or sexual interest in people and he doesn't fault his mission for it. He genuinely doesn't understand it. The godly versions of Max are either pan or aro/ace.

Max Dragon in his first iteration had no love interest since both he - and I as the author - were children. So his sexuality was never brought up or thought upon by yours truly. The second version of Max Dragon did have more options since he lived longer and I was older. He dated Maxine, Hebe and Zelda, only marrying Zelda and having children with her. 2nd Max Dragon still didn't feel straight, though, so it could be possible he was bisexual.

The 3rd iteration of Max is also a mystery. Again, I didn't think of a sexuality because it didn't seem important.

Depending on the iteration, Max has either Zelda or Nath as his love interest. So he definitely has a type since both have black hair and bluegreen/sea-green eyes. Both Zelda and Nath are morosexual - exclusively attracted to morons - since they like Max (Just a joke, ya'll).

Several people have fallen for Max - mostly women - for his status, looks or personality. The majority do it for his status since he's either a prince, king, rich kid, god or just a powerful assassin with influence. Nath and Zelda are the few of the people that look beyond the mask of Max, loving him because of who he is rather than his money or looks.

Possible love interests: I actually had to read back my old writings (yikes) to discover people who could've been Max's love interests if the story had taken a different route. They are: Maxine, Hebe, Greyson, Lady Cassandra, and Oliver.

Maxine was Max Dragon's fiancee but circumstances caused by one of the people on the above list (Greyson) cause Maxine to believe Max was dead. She mourned for two months before marrying his cousin, Samuel. Upon his return, Max was heartbroken but tried to not show it. Maxine was the first love interest written for Max.

Hebe, the goddess of youth, didn't think her relationship with Max was as serious as he thought it to be. He loved her more than she ever loved him, leading to their mutual separation.

Lady Cassandra's the darkest of the girl love interests since she wants Max despite his marriage to Zelda and their children. She didn't view Max as a person either, seeing him more as a trophy to be earned. She wanted Max because he was a powerful, handsome king, not for anything else. She's the most selfish person "in love" that I've written.

Greyson is the prince of the wyverns (drakons in the original version) who was manipulated by Ken to see Max as an enemy to his people. The two nearly destroy each other until they realize that they were manipulated. After that, the two began a very close relationship. Greyson always did his best to save and protect Max and was his most loyal friend during Max's darkest times.

Oliver met Max when the two were slaves. Oliver immediately decided he wanted to protect Max because he saw the other boy as fragile and weak. The two were separated and Oliver temporarily lost his purpose and thought Max had died in his absence. They reunite but Max has no memories and Oliver feels slightly intimidated by Max's strength and independence.

The closest people to qualify as potential love interests are Greyson and Oliver. Heck, Oliver and Max would've become a couple had they not been separated. Alas, the two are second to Zelda and Nath.

Family: Max tends to have an extensive family. The first iteration has him with the largest amount of siblings who would either be written out or rebooted. His original family consisted of his parents, the eldest and only sister Elizabeth, older brothers Jake, Jacob, Zack, and Cody and his twin Giancarlo. The 2nd iteration brought Sehel into the family.

The 3rd iteration removed Elizabeth, Jake, Jacob, Zack and Cody and put in Halt and having Max be a quadruplet. Max is also orphaned in this version with his legal guardian being Jake/Valen, his older cousin.

The 4th iterations returned some of Max's previous siblings. Elizabeth, Jake, Jacob, Zack and Cody are the older siblings of Maxiel Garwin-Russo while Max is a quintuplet thanks to younger sister Gwendolyn. He doesn't have true siblings in his godly forms, though. Just vaguely connected to other gods. Maxiel Garwin the assassin only has three brothers and two sisters (removing Jake, Jacon, Zack and Cody).

As for kids, only 3 versions of Max has kids: Max Dragon version 2, Maxiel Garwin and 12th God "Maxiel".

Max Dragon has a lot kids with Zelda: Blake, Gabriel, Dylan, Atticus, Kay, Zora, Senna and Nami. The first three are later incorporated into Maxiel Garwin the Assassin. 12th God Maxiel and Nath had 7 children, currently unnamed at the time.

Closing thoughts: I really really love Max. He was my first and oldest OC. I created him as this spunky, confident and outspoken kid because I was the complete opposite. I've changed throughout the years and Max has been the only OC that changed with me. I even used him as a form of therapy when I got a bit depressive in middle school. Max has a special place in my heart and is the OC that made me fall in love with writing. That's all for Max's OC Origins. See you next time!

CHANGES

So with Damien and Why Killed Markiplier, I’ve been doing some thinking about my own ego AU. Kinda unorganized but whatever

Under the cut because this is going to get LOOOONG

Dark has learned control and balance between the Kim Twins. At first it was just Celine with Damien peeking through once in a blue moon, but even that only worked for only a few minutes outside of their heaven. Then it was Damien with Celine waking up just briefly because she was so fucking tired of fighting. Now however both are more or less in control, both sleeping when Dark goes to bed, and waking when he does, the time difference much less unless the twins start arguing then time in their dimension speeds up as if it’s standing still outside Darks head. Of course one of them is the main one in control with the other merely helping out, and you can usually tell by which color is surrounding him more, red or blue, but they can hide or manipulate the colors if they try hard enough.

There is a third soul in Dark’s head too, but he was so broken at first he was unable to help at first. Durans was slightly unwelcome at first, before the Kim's realized he was just as much a toy to Mark as they were, a character in a story, although a bit more willing to participate. They don't trust him at first but he rarely asks or takes control, simply happy to have someone other than Mark know he’s here is more then enough. He is the ever presents shadows around Dark, the greys Dark’s skin has become. He rarely helps with making decisions for Dark but he will help break ties if both twins are being too pigheaded to listen to each other. 

Technically speaking Dark is only 1/3 Jinn at this point but Jinn is the dominate trait so he registers as Jinn as his subcategory to Tulpa instead of human. No one can really tell he’s mostly human and the Jinn in him plays very little role in the thought process of the being. 

Dark’s personality shifts slightly depending on who has main control.

When Damien is control, Dark is more likely to go along with, or allow antics to go on in the Office, fighting back laughter more and even getting up to mischief himself if he feels so inclined. He also will go easier with punishments if he feels the ego needed is feeling particularly vulnerable. 

When Celine is in charge, Dark is more sarcastic, and exasperated. He’s always mother henning the egos and seems to know about stupid stunts they're going to pull before they do. She does make him very protective of them however, Dark will eviscerate anything that tries to harm those he holds dear.

If Durans is feeling okay then Dark becomes cooler under his control. He will be very formal, but very cunning at the same time. His words become as lethal as his claws. He cares for the egos but not as much as his own hide and will manipulate them without a second thought to get what he wants.

One prays they never see Durans take over while enraged, because Dark will be nearly feral. His skin with stretch paper thin, his teeth will elongate, his eyes will ooze black sludge. He will destroy anything in his way, and the object of his ire, the singularity that caused his rage will not stand a chance.

Wilford knows that Dark is the twins, because while hacking the matrix, as Mark said, he gained the ability to read ‘old scripts’. This allows him to know what actually happened to the twins and the DA but he just doesn't care, after all they're just stories now, characters in a play.

Dark, Wilford, Abe and the DA don't give a fuck anymore when it comes to the oddities of their lives, they've realized that they probably will never be free of their unseen scripts, of their roles. At first this caused pain, but now they're numb to it, even as egos they can't escape their roles. 

This is why Dark hated Mark when he first became an Ego, because even becoming a new species he can’t escape being a tool for Markiplier, even if this Mark is genuine and nice, it still rubbed him the wrong way. He’s gotten over it and decided that this Mark is fine since he doesn’t demand anything from him except a few basic rules.

Damien liked Mark first. Mark reminded him of Mark when he was younger, when The quartet was just teens with wide and varied dreams.  He reminds Damien of happier times. 

Celine decided to trust him when She saw how he interacted with the other egos. He had been thrown into a supernatural life without his say and yet he still learned to love and cherish each of his egos, no matter how lost in his own head he cared for them, treating them like he would annoying little brothers, something she could empathize with. 

Actor Mark is still out there but he's lost track of his characters. He can find his detective sometimes, but Damien, Celine and William disappeared awhile ago and he needs them back to continue his story. So he searches for where they might be hiding. He's sure he’ll find them sooner or later.

The dimension where the Office is in is within the subconscious of Mark. He thought this might be the case from the beginning when he first entered the Office not from a door but from merely falling asleep and appearing in one of the bedrooms.  If he learned how he could do whatever he wanted to the Office and the Egos inside it, even against the DA own actions. Mark isn’t the only one uneasy about this fact, but the egos trust Mark, trust him not to hurt them and that’s enough

      Bad, bad, bad, this was something really, really bad-- 

       Hands remained met with the surface of the medbay’s rightmost counter, and a forced shake of his head wrought its way back and forth through him. This couldn’t be happening, this couldn’t be happening. 

       It wasn’t entirely something that brought panic to him, seeing himself fall into what may just be a state of physical instability, (what could he say, he doubted many would come to miss him) but the shift in color... lone socket locked stare with his palms pressed to the pristine grey countertop of the expansive laboratory medical wing. 

      Turning over palms, with the readings so recently found still available to be read at a sideways glance, that same energy h had trusted to save his hide for centuries now swelled over both his biomechanical limb and his right hand. In place of what had come to be familiar, that sharp teal hue, it wasn’t something dreadfully drastic... but... in the time span of the past few days, he had watched it so gradually change. 

        From what had once been Cyan... through to Turquoise... and then where it had stuck for the last few hundred years... at that viridian blue. He’d thought it had stopped, he’d thought it would stay there, but even now (lone socket drifted up to lock with his screen, willing it to flit through its listed information, tabs flickering between one another. 

      A chart swelled into being, and listed over the screen, paired with a radial image of the SOUL of mention. Central Energy production wavelength hugged close to the far left, the tight hugging wavelengths sweeping high and low in motion over the screen, roughly ten times the pace of the SOUL’s pulse listed just below it.

       Even now, he could see it fighting to edge its alignment between the subsectors, seems it had only just switched from the first to the second of the five subsectors.

ILLEGIBLE’S TOTALLY SUBJECTIVE FAVORITE EORZEA COLLECTION DESIGNS: FEMALE

I’ve mentioned in the past, the main thing that made me start playing FFXIV properly was seeing people’s character designs. I’m still honestly blown away by the creativity and range of approaches people bring to this game, so I’ve decided to be an absolute madwoman and break my favorites into subcategories to share with anyone curious.

And to be clear. I’m not going to do something so broad as “oh top ten in-general :3″ because that would be sensible. No, I’m going to do it for all the current combat jobs. And all the current races. And different genders within the races and combat jobs as things stand. And I’m going to make a face-focus subcategory. And there are gonna be LOTS. Because I seriously cannot understate how inspired I’ve been by this community, and after however many years I just feel the need to vomit some incredible visuals I’ve encountered at you guys lol.

NOTE: In an abundance of caution, I want to stress this list isn’t a value judgment on anyone but a fragment of things that blew me personally away. Looking at the DRK sections it will be immediately clear that I Illegible really like that edgy dark knight aesthetic lmao, but there are plenty of non-edgy dark knights that I also love to bits. Other people might not like edgy dark knights. Due to a combination of size and search constraints plus trying to keep gear somewhat varied, these glamours are just what wound up on this particular list of mine. I could make another list one day. Other people can make lists too that are totally different.

PLEASE NOTE: MENTIONS OF MURDER, WAR, AND BLOODSHED WITHIN THIS STACK OF PROMPTS. If any of these (or anything of the likes) are a bother to you, please keep scrolling! (Nothing ridiculously gory or descriptive, but there are certainly implications.)

Also, quick note: I did a bit of reading, and I’ve been made aware that hit(wo)men and mercenaries are often grouped together as being basically the same thing. I’d like to inform my dearest readers that they are not.A mercenary is a hired soldier that has no political nor any national obligation to be fighting, but rather, they’re in it for the money, or for some other reason that will benefit their person. A contract killer is someone that has been hired to murder a specific target, decided solely by their employer(s). They’re always payed for the terrible things they do. On a very similar note, hit(wo)men are usually members of organized crime parties, and thus aren’t paid on a regular basis like contract killers are. As a general rule, both types are ‘subcategories’ of assassins. Hope I’ve (somewhat) helped to clarify! I’ve included prompts for both killers and mercenaries, as library–of–souls has requested.

- - - He propped his gun up against the charred trunk, and leaned back a bit. Usually, war was just war. He honestly didn’t care who won. Heck, if there was a chance of fattening his wallet, he’d even switch sides. But this one. This one was….Different. He reached up to rub the back of his neck, wincing as his thoughts spun relentlessly in maddening circles. He knew he wasn’t on the right side. (At the least, not the morally right one.) But he simply couldn’t bring himself to abandon that wad of cash they were holding over his nose.

- - - The cat hissed at the strange person that had just crept through the window. Silently, with the smallest hint of a smile, she held a finger to her lips. (She had always adored cats. No matter how many times they threatened to ruin her operations, she couldn’t shake her adoration.) The cat, that couldn’t be bothered with sticking around, bolted off, into what appeared to be a hallway. “Wha’ss the matter, kitty?” A groggy voice acknowledged. The killer cursed under her breath, and dove back out through the window. She scraped her knee on the frame, but that was the least of her concerns. They were awake. Why? Why were they awake? This wasn’t part of the plan.

- - - And with a fell whirl, the dane axe sailed through her opponent’s neck. But she didn’t have time to watch them drop. She was surrounded, wasn’t she? Before the moment passed, something bit into the back of her leg– an agonized shout jumped from her throat as her knees hit the ground. The mercenary hissed, and whipped her head about to see the ruffled, dusty-blue feathers of an arrow. She groaned, but not before she spat on the ground. For what must’ve been the millionth time that evening, she truly wondered if the gold was worth it.

- - - “Hey, listen. I didn’t know they were related to you. If you don’t want to go through with it, I’ll get some other bloke to do the job. A'ight? I don’t want you breaking down on me.”“No, no. It’s fine.” The air felt sharp as he drew in a sigh. “My plan is to just not think. Y'know? I won’t drag it out like I usually do. I’ll just get in and get out, and that’ll be that. And….Oh, geez. I swear, if you’ve already taken me off the target, you’ll be the next one on my list.”

- - - The men were already settled down for the night. All they had to do was untack the horses. One of the soldiers decided to start a fire, and he was promptly joined by a good handful of his comrades. They were swift with the pleasantries. It was about halfway into the conversation when, quite suddenly, a certain realization spread over them all like a wave. None among them were native to this land. None among them seemed obliged to talk about the actual reason for why the war was upon them. None of them seemed to know why there was a war. None of them, in fact, were of the King’s men. Certainly…no. No. What a droll thing to assume. But…. Certainly, it very much seemed as though they were all mercenaries.

- - - She was almost too good at her job. So good, in fact, that she managed to even scare her employers. How in the world did she manage? How exactly was she capable of performing such gruesome deeds? And, the most pressing question of all, why in the world was an 80-year old working as a hitwoman?

- - - “I didn’t take this job for the money. Nor out of altruism. I took it because I was promised your hand.”“"Wh-….WHAT?! My hand?! I wouldn’t marry you if you were the last soul on Earth. You’re a–”“Are you mad? I don’t want to marry you. I want your actual hand.”“I’m not sure if that’s better, or worse. I’m not giving you my actual hand, either!”

- - - He chuckled, and reclined in his chair. The single bulb above was flickering, threatening to snuff out entirely. “Kid, I don’t know how you do it. Two cops down, plus the target, plus a squeaky-clean getaway. Well….Sorta. You painted that alley red. But….I don’t know, man. I don’t know how you do it. You’re like, what, not even outta high school yet?”The teen returned a grin, and shook their head. “Just started last year, actually….But dude, it’s not me that’s doing the work. I’m just holding the reigns.”“Whatddya mean?”“My dog makes all the kills. No-one expects doom on all fours, amIright?”

- - - When she had signed up for the war, she knew she was going to get blood on her hands. She just didn’t expect that it would be purple.

- - - Deep down, he knew that working for two different people was bound to get him into trouble. It wasn’t long before his consequence reared its head– both of his contractors wanted the other dead. Despite this, he had a terrible suspicion that neither knew he was involved with both of them. He’d have to play favorites.

- - - “You want me to kill who now?”“"You heard me. I know you’re not deaf.”“Ma'am. Please do not take offense in….Uh, my refusal….But I only kill humans. Not…ah, not fish.“

- - - “I….You’re…. You’re refusing payment? You can’t do that. You fought. You killed. You nearly died. You can’t just….No. I can’t just let you walk away. You take this bloody cash, or I’ll become your shadow until you do.”

- - - “Listen. I hired you because I love you. I don’t love your work. You think I actually wanted someone dead?” They managed to choke out a laugh. “I gave you a fake name. A fake name and a fake motive. But my heart. My heart was real.”“Yeah, and so’s this gun. I don’t care what you think. I want my money, and then I don’t want to see your face ever again. Unless it’s on the side of a milk carton.”

- - - “By gum,” the man scoffed, taking off his glasses so that he could see his son properly. “Look at what you’ve done. You’ve left your limbs behind. Didn’t I tell you that war isn’t your plaything?”

- - - She’d done it. She’d killed every last one of them.She grinned, eyes aglow with the thought of all that dough she had been promised– with luck, she wouldn’t have to worry about a single thing until she retired. She whipped out her mobile, and dialed in that old, familiar number. She held it to her ear as she stood up.Her smile faded as she looked about the room. Her targets…. Hadn’t been what she had expected. When she first heard of them, she thought of guns, of sneering faces, of bloodthirsty villains waiting for their next victim. But….No. These people were civilians. And she had massacred them. Her phone slowly slipped from her hand as a terrible feeling burrowed its way through her gut.

- - - He was content. Moreso than ever. “That,” he chuckled, making himself a touch more comfortable upon the helicopter’s rickety bench, “was the shortest battle I’ve ever seen. Two grand for that?” He slapped the nearest soldier on the back. “Gotta be kidding me!”The soldier turned towards him with a rather solemn, pointed look. “The battle isn’t over. It’s only just begun. It’ll come back.”“…Pardon?”“They’re coming back. Do you even know what we’re up against?”

- - - TARGET IN BACK ALLEY. BRING GUN.Right. Because she wasn’t already planning on bringing one. She tipped the cabbie handsomely, and opened her umbrella. The light of the street-lamps glared off the wet concrete; the roar of the storm was only rivaled by the sound of the traffic behind her. Perfect. She applied another layer of lip-balm with her free hand as she stepped into the dark passage. She hadn’t gone twenty paces before, suddenly, she was adressed by name. “…Put your hands up. You’re under arrest!”She sighed heavily, and let her umbrella clatter to the ground. She stretched her fingers towards the booming sky. “Again? Really, Gerald? Thought you were over this whole thing.”

Mod Mew Reads! “Don’t Trust Anyone, Not Even Yourself” (PART ONE)

Hihi, guys, and welcome back to Mod Mew Reads! And it only took eight months! Today, we’re gonna be reading something special. It’s gonna be big, it’s gonna be huge, and it’s gonna be personal. Why? Because today, we’re looking at the first three chapters of a fanfiction. 

A fanfiction that I wrote.

That’s right! Today we’re looking at Chapters 1 and 2 of Forbidden Magnetism, my GakuKai fanfiction I wrote three years ago! Is it as bad as I’m making it out to be? Well, let’s not stall any longer. Let’s dive in HEAD FIRST!

Kaito and Gakupo both have new girlfriends, they both love them so much. However, when they meet each other in a practice studio, an attraction that shouldn't be forms between the two. How long can this magnetism last before they are caught? Rated M for later chapters containing smut. Yaoi, boy on boy, KaitoxGakupo. UPDATED FROM MY TUMBLR WITH CORRECT SPELLING.

For a little context, I based this entire fanfic off of this video. The video is five years old and the creator has not updated in three years, but just watching it brings back memories. Hot tip for high school me; don’t make a name for yourself critiquing fanfic and then write a shitty one yourself. Anyways, enough stalling.

I still think this is my best opening line of anything ever.

This is the conclusion Gakupo came to after the events that happened. First, he had finally asked Luka out, and, to his suprise, said yes.

Oi, past me, have you heard of this hot new tool called SpellCheck? “Surprise” still gives me trouble, but good lord.

However, he couldn't kiss her, not at the school. Luka had told him her best friend, Miku, also got a boyfriend not too long ago. He had decided to stay after in the school's expansive practice school, to write her a song.

Why was fate a bitch?

Because as soon as he stepped in, his eyes fell on a beautiful person.

He knew immediately who the person was. It was Kaito. He was part of the 'Big Five', the most popular kids at the high school. The most popular of them all was Kaito's new girlfriend, Hatsune Miku. If you were associated with them in any way, you were considered 'popular', or at the very least, 'known'.

The ‘Big Five’ in my mind were Miku, Luka, Rin, Len, and Gumi, if I’m remembering correctly.

Kaito was 16, but he looked around 20. He was tall, with dark blue hair. He always wore his scarf, no matter what.

OH YEAH I FORGOT I MADE THE CHARACTERS TEENS. Spoilers, but they have sex in later chapters, so I wrote underage smut when I myself was underage. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

I know age of consent laws are very iffy, and the AoC in my state is 16 years old, but to me the AoC always will be 18.

He was beautiful.

And staring right at Gakupo.

The events that followed were a blur in his mind. He remembered walking towards Kaito, and the next thing they knew, they were kissing furiously, unable to stop.

Fun fact, the inspiration for this scene was a seen in Brokeback Mountain.

What had lead up to this? 

Well, first off a thirsty 15 year old girl who had an unfortunate habit of fetishizing gay men, but that’s a story for another day.

Gakupo remembered talking to him, remembered him being asked to practice a duet with Kaito that he was going to do with Miku. His memory fogs up, then clears up around the time he hit the wall while making out with Kaito. They didn't want to break the contact, not even to breath, as of they feared that if they did, they could never kiss each other again. Their tongues were fighting for dominance, but it was becoming painfully clear that Gakupo was the dominate one.

The tall one isn’t always the dominate one open up your eyes sheeple.

Finally, the need for air overpowered their want for each other. 

There’s this funny little thing called your nose, try breathing through that.

They broke apart, gasping for air. Gakupo could feel that just the kissing had made them both half hard. He wanted to continue, so badly. However, the sudden realizations that both of them had girlfriends hit him like a bullet train.

YEAH NO SHIT ASSHOLE!!

He pushed himself off of Kaito, and, without another word, left the studio.

What school has a professional recording studio? All I had at my high school was a shitty photo room we used as a storage closet.

If the two boys had been smarter, that meeting would have been just a little fling, and nothing more. 

YOU STILL CHEATED ON YOUR GIRLFRIENDS YOU FUCKSUCKS!

However, nobody could even begin to guess how far out of control this situation would get. And it all started thanks to a magnetism that shouldn't have been felt.

It had been a couple of days since their 'meeting', and both boys had become a bit restless, unable to shake the memory of each other out of their minds. They couldn't really see each other during the day, and they felt as if they were slowly going insane. They hoped their girlfriends didn't notice.

They did.

Oh, they noticed that you two fucking CHEATED ON THEM huh?!

Luka decided to keep silent about the situation, and not inquire Gakupo. After all, if the problem was truly bothering him, he would've told her by now. She chalked it up to nerves.

Kids, if you’re having relationship troubles, just talk it out with the person, it’ll be so much better in the long run.

Miku, on the other hand, was the talkative type. 

Speakin of which, if this goes up on time, happy 10th birthday, Miku!

She expressed her emotions through many words. Including her concern over Kaito.

"What's wrong, sweetheart?" Miku asked one day between classes. She needed to know. Otherwise, it would drive her nuts trying to figure it out for herself.

Kaito smiled sweetly at her. "It's nothing, Miku," he lied. He was a performer. He could fake any emotion at the drop of a hat. And no one could see he was faking.

No one, that is, except Miku.

I want to re-write this but like, not have the guys cheat on the girls??? Polyamory, it’s a thing.

"Don't lie to me, Kaito," Miku said sternly. "I won't be mad. I promise." Her puppy dog eyes seem to be staring right into Kaito's soul.

No, trust me, you’ll be pissed.

"I'm just nervous. You're my first real girlfriend. I don't want to mess this up."

I actually ship KaiMeiko more so LMAO @ past me.

Miku grinned. "Was that all? Well, that's a relief! I thought it was something seriously bad. I'll try not to make you nervous."

Kaito was relieved that she believed him. There were truth to his words; Miku was his first girlfriend, and he didn't want to screw up too badly. However, in his mind, making out with your girlfriend's best friend's boyfriend (try saying that three times) qualified as 'screwing up', and was in the subcategory of 'screwing up pretty damn badly'.

The warning bell rang, and Miku gave him a quick kiss goodbye, before rushing to her classroom.

Kaito always felt a spark when he kissed Miku. He always felt like it was right, like she was the one.

But no matter how hard he tried to deny it, he had felt that same spark during that meeting with Gakupo.

See, this is something that I liked; Kaito having feelings for both Miku and Gakupo was super interesting to me, and I want to expand on it one day, but maybe in a format that’s... well, less shit.

Also, looking back, this might’ve been me working through the fact that I’m bisexual...

Because of their concern, the girl decided a double date would set everyone at ease. They planned it out, and didn't tell the boys about it until the day of. The boys didn't have any choice but to say yes.

For the girl, the date went just as planned. The park they chose was close enough so everyone could walk there and back, yet secluded enough for them to enjoy the day in peace. They had a nice day, and things felt right.

For the boys, it was a totally different story. Every time they saw the other's girlfriend kiss them, they wanted to say "No, he's mine." But they knew they couldn't. It was as if the girls were trying to make them envious. Envious of a love that they wanted to share with each other.

After the date had ended, and both girl went home, the boys arrived at Gakupo's house. They decided to make a promise: whenever they could, they would meet up at one of their houses, and leave when dawn came around. No one would know except them. It was the perfect plan. As soon as they agreed, they began kissing.

Hey past me, if you actually took time to develop scenes instead of acting like you’re Sonic The Hedgehog and speeding through them, maybe your writing wouldn’t be as shit.

Of course, anyone with half of a brain could see this promise was idiotic and flawed in so many ways.

No, really? I can’t see how cheating on your s/o with their best friend’s s/o is a bad idea, not at all!
