Obi-Wan’s hand paused on his back, and Anakin felt as he took a deep, shuddering inhale.  In tandem, their bond lit up with a cascade of colourful sparkles, exuberant and beautiful in their joviality.

From chapter 2 of Suffocate Me (I'm Still Breathing):

Heat rushes to Obi-Wan’s cheeks at the obviousness of his unkempt state, a massive contrast to his usual state of affairs, but he can’t help the fondness that bubbles up at the other man’s words and his familiarity with his old Master’s preferences.

I hope you are still a trans ally despite detransitioning. Earlier someone anonymous dropped a prompt for the sub Anakin fest that said "no trans characters" and then a detransitioning fic was uploaded: it makes us question who in this community is a terf. We're tired of trying to exist and being pushed back.

Like I said, I have participated in real world activism for even longer than I was trans. I said on discord that I have volunteered at a center for trans youth. Last month, I applied to be on my employer's board for the LGBT experience and in my application said my center of focus was on healthcare and legal rights in the workplace. I hope this makes sense, I don't have hate in my heart for anybody. I talk to and work with trans people in real life every day, which I feel like is more than a lot of people can say.

I saw the sub Anakin fest conversations on twitter, but it wasn't really my place to say anything. My assumption was that the person who submitted the prompt was probably trans themself. I know a lot of trans people who don't like seeing trans characters in fiction, especially porn, because it can trigger dysphoria. But again, it's not my place to say anything. If you know me you know that I probably would not be participating in a submissive Anakin fest hahaha.

Obviously I understand how it is just trying to exist and feeling so pushed back. I wish we could all discuss things civilly and get along. In the end though, I don't want to make this a political blog. That isn't my focus on here at all. I write and draw to escape.
