I was on r/stupidquestions yesterday to avoid doing my job and someone was like “Is it dumb if I feel despair because AI is taking every job I could ever possibly want?” and people were trying to gently dissuade them away from this half-baked under-researched opinion in the comments and OP was arguing with them like it was their damn job

Like ok if you want to feel suicidal because you think the job of Artist won’t exist in 15 years then you do you I guess!!!! Fuck me for trying to challenge that!!!!

Alright, I am cringing out here. So I ate at Panda Express and asked the peeps there about their family thing. I wanted to know what's the best value?

Then the employee there asked, kinda offended like and that kinda made me feel like ugh.

Feels like how parents shut off their kids and they start to lose their spark. I felt unheard and misunderstood. I don't blame that employee. I asked the best value thing in a way that is just stupid.
