Lost Fic #182
1. Hi - I’m trying to find a fic in which Crowley has to abandon his flat because of “creeping holiness” spreading through it and bleaching the whole place white. Thanks! And thank you all for this amazing resource! - @stumblingoverchaos
2. Hi, First of all, thank you for all of the work you do on this blog, it's been very helpful to me. Second, there's this fic I'm looking for. Aziraphale found Crowley as a snake and took him home, but Crowley was acting like an actual snake. Over time, Crowley stole energy from Aziraphale overnight but he still wasn't acting like himself despite being able to retake human form. At the end, he was okay though. I think there was also a sequel, where to protect Crowley from the thing that caused him to be snake-stuck (snuck) Aziraphale had to trap him and use his (Aziraphale's) blood for a ritual. He also asked Crowley to trust him because he wasn't allowed to ask any questions. If you could help me find this, I would be incredibly grateful, as I could have sworn I found it through this blog the first time yet have been unable to find it since. Thanks! @alex-de-bayre
3. hello !! i know you have hundreds of asks but I've been looking for this fic for so long. it's adult omens, and i'm pretty sure it takes place in the Bentley? Crowley ends up on Azi's lap and there are some d/s dynamics to it, and Crowley ends up finishing from praise alone. it's definitely less than 2000 words, and has nothing too explicit. i know it's not the most conventional ask but I've been searching for a while, so maybe the librarians will have better luck? - anon
4. hello!!! ive got a fic to find, and i think i actually got it from here but idk what its called. the most distuinguishing thing i can remember is that aziraphale is discorporated after being hit by a bus, right before he started telling crowley about his feelings. the bus driver is a nice old guy on the brink of retirement who feels really bad, and crowley lectures/yells at the dead body before he miracles everyone to forget. i really looked that fic, but i mustve not bookmarked it :( thanks for the help in advanced, godsent mods! - @o-lord-heal-this-bike
5. Hi! I'm looking for a specific fic. It was an adult omens fic, and all I can remember is that it started with focus on Aziraphale and Crowley holding hands on the bus. I THINK it's from Aziraphale's POV, and he is nervous. Iirc, Crowley just stares ahead and the kind of don't mention it while it's happening. Any ideas? Sorry it isn't much to go on! - @acheemient
If you know any of these fics please include the number in your reply! Thank you :)

Ten people I'd like to know better
Alright, I've done this a few weeks ago when @friday-im-in-love-with-crowley tagged me in a chain post, but now both @stumblingoverchaos and @bellisima-writes have tagged me again, so time for a post on its own!
Last song: a compilation of Hozier's greatest hits, ending on "All things end" (great for cleaning)
Favourite colour: I used to go for blue. Blue everything. I saw something blue, I needed to have it. Nowadays, I've gotten a little more temperate in my preferences. Also, I do still like blue, but I'm more of a purple/violet girl now. Like, a nice, rich, saturated indigo, or dark magenta, or royal purple. Something like that.
Last book: I just started "The Body: A guide for occupants" by Bill Bryson today. Very enjoyable read so far, and very informative, too. Beautiful style. Contains gorgeous sentences, such as "silently and remorselessly we turn to dust" as a comment on how much skin we shed (a pound every year).
Last movie: uh... I think still Mr & Mrs Smith? Looks like it.
Last TV show: I don't own a TV. Does Drawtectives count? I say Drawtectives counts. And since it counts: Drawtectives. Season 3, to be precise.
Sweet/spicy/savoury: I prefer savoury, but I like them all. I keep it White people spicy, though.
Last thing I searched online: a very specific word, which I haven't found, but @lickthecowhappy has kindly helped me find an approximation.
Current obsession: Still Good Omens, and, recently, Drawtectives. The latter isn't quite a hyperfixation, but I am a fan. Highly recommend.
Looking forward to: Meeting with my pianist tomorrow to talk about some fun concert programmes and plans. Which reminds me that I need to do the same with my organist.
Ten people I'd like to know better: Oh dear oh dear oh dear, over a year on this hellsite and I still don't know about the tagging etiquette. I'll just tag people. Feel free to ignore me, or to jump on the bandwagon, even if I didn't tag you: @theriverspath @lickthecowhappy @theonevoice @knifeforkspooncup @phoen1xr0se @yowlthinks @di-42 @blackthorn-roses @celticseawych @ghostsparrow

Twenty Questions
Thanks for the tags, @eybefioro, @goodoldfashionednightingale, and @hoarder-of-dragons! I picked my favorites from the posts you tagged me on, and added a few more of my own:
Currently consuming: Good Omens everything
Currently consuming: Good Omens everything (it's worth repeating!)
First ship: I'm not sure. I think I was introduced to the concept of ships through Thomas Sanders' Sanders Sides
Do you have kids? Yes, birth and foster 🥰
What sports do you play/have you played? Dance, horseback riding, and martial arts
Are you more likely to be sincere or sarcastic? Sincere
How many tabs are open on your browser? Over 3,000, because Session Buddy doesn't work on mobile yet 😅
What's your favourite colour? There's no way I can choose! I love the play of different colors with one another. I tend to wear a lot of purple, burgundy, and teal jewel tones, especially in the autumn and winter.
Favorite drink: Hot cocoa with marshmallows and herbal tea for the winter
Last movie: Nothing Lasts Forever and Pride and Prejudice (Those of you as obsessed with Good Omens as I am might recognize a theme here 🤩 )
Scary movies or happy endings? Feel good media with happy endings, please! The world is already full of too many sad and awful things.
When was the last time you cried? I don't remember, but it was probably induced by sleep deprivation and stress. Or really big feelings.
Any talents? Photography! And I love to nurture things. Sometimes that means cooking for loved ones, or growing a jungle of plants in my living room, or organizing gatherings for an extended circle of friends and chosen family
Talent you wish you had? Drawing
What are your hobbies? Right now, the only honest answer is Good Omens 😅
Do you have any pets? Yes! I've shared my life with a whole zoo full of cats, dogs, fish, and reptiles, including an adventure cat, a part-bear part-muppet therapy dog, and a tegu lizard that I trained to walk on a leash and harness.
Super power you wish you had? Reading minds
Dream job? I don't know! I've had so many, and they've all been valuable stepping stones on the path of my life. The jobs where I get to teach and help people - especially kids - are my favorites.
Dream vacation? Seeing the northern lights in person is high on my list. Also, a wildlife photo safari in Africa.
How would you change the world if you could? (Or, what are you passionate about?) I would teach everyone the skills of DBT (helpful for absolutely everyone who has ever had a strong feeling or a connection to another person) and then I would give everyone universal healthcare and a universal basic income with an aim to eliminating poverty, especially among children, plus all the other long term benefits that would stem from that. (Read more from WaPo about UBI here if you're interested.)
Currently working on: Solving the ineffable mystery with the lovely people at the @ineffable-detective-agency, and finishing a new fanfic for the Good Omens Minisode Minibang. Hopefully I'll be ready to post that later this weekend!
No-pressure tags for a few mutuals who might be into tag games, and an open invitation to everyone else!

Tag 9 people you want to get to know better
I was tagged by @jamgrlsblog 💛
Three ships: any three? Ok let’s just have fun with it. First, though, it’s important to remember that I am right about everything ever. Here you go: (1) Eliot Spencer / Damien Moreau from Leverage. (2) Aang / Azula from Avatar the Last Airbender. (3) Madalena / Isabella from Galavant.
First ever ship: Spirk. I did NOT understand at the time, but I knew that I wanted two things—to be Jim Kirk and to have Spock as my boyfriend. This became clearer later in life.
Last song: Born to Run by Bruce Springsteen. Songs to yell along to at the top of your lungs while driving alone down the freeway.
Last movie: Rūrangi. It was surprisingly sweet, but unsurprisingly very Basics of Transgenderism and Intersectional Politics for Idiots. Not that that’s bad, I’m just not the target audience.
Currently reading: Moby Dick, reread via whale weekly. Also a truly terrible new history of ancient Greek mathematics.
Currently watching: End of the World with You, Utsukushii Kare 2nd season, and Bed Friend. I also really need to watch Gap now that it’s finished airing.
Currently consuming: a can of Thai tea, thanks @bogwitch-extraordinaire ! 💜
Currently craving: ahahahah so there’s this deeply repressed nerd who teaches at a seminary…
I am tagging @stumblingoverchaos @sadday4sure @ginger--judas @davidbowielovesyou @lokerosing @nerasvalhalla @chaoticpanenergy @ben-wisehart @benkaaoi

Thank you kindly for the tag @bibliosophie ❤️
Five things that make me happy:
1. My husband Christos, beautiful inside and out, who will always surprise me with his ancient soul and youthful persona. And our pug Darth, a joyful little clown with his own mind and curious personality.
2. My hobby; paper. My hobby has turned me into a paper hoarder; anything paper related with all the additional things that goes with it. Paper allows me to make books, art journals, collages, anything really as long as I keep an open and curious mind.
I always buy at least one journal or notebook in every country we visit during our vacations, and while traveling I collect papers off the streets, poster walls, stickers peeled off lamp posts or memorabilia wherever there is some to take for free.
3. Greece ❤️ with Paros on the top of my mind. A small Greek island which sits in the heart of the Aegean sea and belongs to the Cyclades. I visited Paros last year for the first time, and at first sight I was blown away by all the whitewashed houses though a little sceptical about the desert nature and rocky terrain. When we left Paros, after having explored its magickal nature and medieval villages, as I stood there on the ferry watching the island disappear in the horizon - tears flowed down my cheeks as I realised Paros had stolen a piece of my heart. I still have that heartache, longing for Paros, and can’t wait to return in September.
4. Really good tv-series, lastly seen: Maestro in Blue (2022) and Colony (2016). Though *Star Trek will always be rolling on tv while I indulge in my paper play.
*Star Trek (1966), TNG (1987), DS9 (1993), Voyager (1995), Enterprise (2001)
5. Food, delicious food! Cooking myself, often trying something new (latest was Mexican mole), or tasting interesting foods while traveling, or spoiling myself with the offerings from our local restaurants or cafés in and around Stockholm.

It always throws me when people change their avis so I figured I’d do the courtesy. You’re welcome! :)
Unless you were talking about the blog content, in which case you are still welcome. :p

A great thing about fandom is when we can help and motivate one another! @one-time-i-dreamt
Tumblr media
Thanks for the tag, @dashoulinas-fandom-dump! More tags for some helpful among the fandom: @im-not-a-virgo-im-a-lesbo @goodoldfashionednightingale @phoen1xr0se @crowleybrekkers @eybefioro @hoarder-of-dragons @ineffably-poetic @kimberleyjean @lemonic-whimssyy @lil-king-trash-mouth @tragic-cosmic-magic @weasleywrinkles @indigovigilance @katsfavouritethings @catsteinbooks @stumblingoverchaos
ok maybe I'm a little late to this BUT I'm gonna do a to-do list motivation thingy because I've had the worst two weeks since I started college :)
SO these I should start on asap:
50 I make the snack I really want but I haven't had the motivation to make
100 I clean my dorm. another thing I've been meaning to do for a week
150 I do the presentation about mid-victorian fashion I've been putting off (due Monday)
200 I start memorizing the monologue that was due a week ago (now due Tuesday)
these can wait longer:
300 I spend time outside. It's so nice but I'm getting stuck scrolling because I feel like shit. vicious cycle ect
500 I start setting a better weekend routine (aka getting up before noon)
1k I start working out again. I was doing a routine to get more masc and build muscle and I liked it but life hit me like Crowley driving the Bentley and I've missed like 3 weeks
2k I buy my first binder. I've been coping with sports bras for almost a year now and I haven't been able to justify spending $50+ on a binder even though I know I'd love it and use it everyday.
Do I tag people? I don't know but I'm going to. @the-globe-theatre-maggot @weirdly-specific-but-ok @howmanyholesinswisscheese
here's just some context if you want to read, feel free to skip. some of this I've talked about in the maggot server, some I haven't, but I really just need a place for this to go that's out of my head. tw homophobia, transphobia, car crash(??)
How I Have Been Run Over By The Bentley Going 90 In Central London What Feels Like 50 Times In The Last Two Weeks
I'm going to college about 4 hours away from my parents, and it's been really nice. They.. suck, to say the least. transphobic/homophobic ect, super traditional conservative catholic, racist, all of it. so i tried to move somewhere where I wouldn't have to think about them and I could be myself and do what I can to be happy. March 1st was the start of my spring break, which meant going home because the dorms close. I was already not excited, but I was prepared. the problem with being away from home is I forget just how bad they are. My optimism gets the better of me and I think maybe this time they'll be better. so I decided to not hide my septum piercing.
that was a mistake. it starts a whole fight where they say we know you're trans, you're actually a girl and you always will be, we have the bones argument, they think I'm being influenced by demons or something (if only they knew about crowley) because I want to change my name, and they tell me that going on t will completely ruin my body and give me cancer and other things. They're also mad about my dyed hair, septum, and general style, and say I'm setting a terrible example for my (5) younger siblings and make it a point to tell me just how much of a disappointment I am. I think I'm pretty cute and fun but y'know, whatever. very fun time. I lie so much, don't give them any more details about my identity, and say I'm not planning to go on t to save my ass. which is all on instinct which makes me feel worse because if I'm really trans I should be able to stand up for that, right? maybe I'm faking the dysphoria.
the next morning I wake up really sick, and spend the rest of the week sick and feeling like shit because I'm home and back in the same place and situation I was a year ago that I thought I escaped. at one point I pretty much lose my voice but also kind of get gender euphoria from it. it's weird.
On Friday it's time for me to drive back 4 hours to school, and I make it about 3/4 of the way when google maps takes me on a random gravel road and I crash my car, really crash my car, like sideways-in-a-ditch-windows-broken-crawling-up-out-the-door crash it in the middle of nowhere. (I was fully paying attention to the road, it was raining and super slick) I call my parents because I have no one else to call and I sit in a Subway for 3 hours while they drive to get my car. when they get there they're (understandably) really mad, and they tell me that I'm not mature enough to be going to school so far away and I need to get my shit together and stop depending on them. which. is probably true. but made me feel even more stupid about the fact that I crashed my car. I get back to school and I'm still Very Sick with no energy or motivation to do anything. So I've spent the last week trying to get better and honestly to do anything. it hasn't really worked. I'm a lot better health-wise (Not emotionally), still sick but I have a lot of work due, so I really need a push to get started

When you get this you have to answer with 5 things u like about yourself, publicly. Then, send this ask to 10 of your favorite followers (non-negotiable, positivity is cool - but also you can do whatever you want forever)
Thanks for the tag, @thehorseofadifferentcolour !
Here are 5 things I like about myself:
I am kind to people and genuinely try to make their lives better.
When someone presents me with a convincing argument or new evidence about a topic, I change my mind.
I try to speak the language of every place I visit, even if it’s only at a basic level and I feel very shy/insecure about it.
Many of my hobbies are based on acquiring skills that enrich my life and give me new opportunities and ways to engage with the world.
Bisexual.

top 3 ships*:
Geralt/Jaskier from The Witcher
Crowley/Aziraphale from Good Omens
Parvati/Junlei from The Outer Worlds

My current escape of choice is Geraskier fanfic on Ao3! I don’t have any particular stories I am reading at the moment, but I just finished The Chameleon by Elizabeth (which is an in-universe Coffee Shop AU) and it was an utter delight 😊

I would like to recommend Good Endings by WyvernQuill (ao3). 56k! And wonderful.
Sure thing!
Good Endings by WyvernQuill
A Narrative of Certain Events following the Ending of the World (Except Not Quite), as vaguely hinted at in The Slapdash and Not Very Helpful Prophetic Tidbit of Agnes Nutter, Witch (And Matchmaker.)
"Their lives are in horrible, terrible danger that only we can save them from!" Anathema held up the Prophetic Tidbit. "It says so. Right here."Madame Tracy peered at the page.Raised a meaningful eyebrow."Dearie, as a woman of, well, considerable experience, I really don't think that's what 'the lyttle Deathe' means in this context..."
"Huh." Anathema squinted. Flipped the page. Read another bit. "....huh."
(Or, alternatively: Eight - give or take - matchmakers trying really, really hard, honest; two clueless ethereal/occult beings mutually pining their endless days away; and one witch, who can't leave well enough alone when it comes to matters of the heart, no matter how many centuries ago she died.)

Thanks for the tag! (I think!) My result:
We've spent our existence pretending we aren't.
Well, you're brave enough to call this what it is. Can you face losing even that pretense, though? Can you face the consequences of laying all your cards out face up, being all in?
The answer is yes, yes I can, and have, and probably will again. I never want to regret leaving something important unsaid.
Who wants to play? Anyone who sees this is invited! stumblingoverchaos replied to your post “A brief list of strange things that happened to me today”
I adore surreality interludes! Like the night I was leaving a neighborhood theater after a Kubrick double feature, walking alone along the sidewalk (where were the other people? It was a packed house.) when the windshield wipers of a parked car started going as I was walking past. No one in the car. No one on the street. Hadn't rained for days...
That’s such a strange aesthetic experience and I absolutely adore it! Post-Kubrick bizarreness isn’t just you: the last time I walked out of a Kubrick screening was in New Haven after A Clockwork Orange and it was absolutely pouring. We walked a few blocks to a bar and everyone inside was completely dry and stared at us like we were crazy for being soaked. We looked outside and the rain had stopped.

It’s because all the weight he lost did amazing things for his cheekbones. AMAZING THINGS.
Lol unfortunately I am not thinking about his cheekbones, I’m thinking about Geno very carefully and tenderly sliding his fingers into the soft toothless gap in Sid’s mouth.
