In the Hospital
The light was too bright to her liking, she thought. She opened her eyes and looked at her surroundings, the cream-colored wall with green stripes was certainly a choice.
"Augh-" her hand mechanically snaking its way down to her abdomen. 'Fuck, it hurts' she thought. As she atttempted to look down, she saw the blood covered bandages and the wires that were irritatingly connected to her hand and arm. Jeez, tilting her head down was a work, more so this shit of a mess. Defeated, the brunette slumped back again, attempting to close her eyes and deafen that emerging migraine.
"You're finally awake, Mrs. Castillo." "Duarte. It's either MS. Rita or MS. Duarte, for you. Although for professionalism, I'd prefer you call me by my maiden name." she bit back, eyes darting towards the poor man that's being subjected to her glare. She's not married to that fool anymore, he's dead. And quite thankfully so, even if she got framed for his murder, she was still thankful that slum of a man was gone for good. "I'll take note of that." the doctor responds as he seemingly writes something down on his chart. She rolls her eyes and switches her glance towards the window, it must be afternoon or so. "Ms. Duarte, I'm sure you're well-aware of your situatio-" "Think not?" she mutters. "You've sustained a stab wound near your stomach. Although your a lucky women, another 5 inches to the right, you would have suffered an intense blood loss." Lucky. Huh, in all her life, she has been anything but lucky. What an word, indeed, she thought. "Ms. Duarte?" his voice reeled her back from her thoughts. "If that's all you have to say, I would like for you to leave." her head tilting to face him, cold eyes looking at him as if what she said was a demand.
She knows damn well she is in no position to demand. She's a fucking bottom feeder at the society now, to be spit upon and thrown around. But to hell with that, she's a woman of course. But desite of all her regal disposition, she can't help but think, what will come to be for her now? No money, no fame, no work, she won't survive it out there. Sure she's beautiful, but she's past her prime (or so she thinks). Filthy men want young women to make them feel young, and undeniably, she did too, with Scooter. 'I wonder where he is?' she thought. Does he even know what happened to me? Did he go without me? What if he went-. She shook her head, thinking that sulking won't do her good. She looked around again and focused her sight on the bedside table and reached for the water. The water went down rather roughly because of her parched throat, but it still welcomed a sense of relief. Her body's healing yet her mind is not. But that oughta be a problem for another day. For now, she'll let her body rest, no, it needs to rest.

And she lived.
Rita Castillo is a fierce woman, a tigeress in the hostile society of late 1949 Los Angeles. In the eyes of the people, she's unstoppable... but that was until the news of her "killing" her now ex-husband, Carlo Castillo came out. All came crashing down for the once famous Rita Castillo. Well, she did became infamous, even got labeled as the "Black Widow" killer in the front headlines of the newpaper. But that was all in the past now all because of a certain woman named Alma Fillcot. She was nothing compared to the monumental image of Rita Castillo. But, alas, from nothing did all the things came to be. She climbed her way all through the top of the social pyramid ladder, and thanks to her now ex-husband, she got there fast. Subsequently, she also brought the demise of the Rita Castillo. It all seemed perfect... not until that fateful rainy night. It was dark, about after 8 pm, but the city is bustling with the loud cheers and bright lights from the Chez Magnifique. It was the presidential inauguration for the prestigous Elysian Park Garden Club after all, and unsurprisingly, Alma was to be inaugurated. But before all that happens, of course, disasters stucks. A dead woman in the alley. That's what she faintly heard as she slips back and forth from consciousness. What the hell made her get in this exact position, she thought. Well, she's lived a long and quite adventurous life after all. From being a beaten-up houswife then a prostitute to sustain herself and her cousin, Rita never had it easy. She had to be a tiger, a fierce predator, and that definably, made her a common enemy. She knew at least from all the people she's stepped on, at least one would have fought back. But for heaven's sake, dying in an alley was something she never expected. To make it worst, she was dying as hated, poor, and lonely woman dressed in a commoner's clothes. She can feel it, the blood, pooling beneath her porcelain-skinned face. She can hear the metal backdoor opening but she can barely make figure of who was coming out, but she knows that there's a lot of people coming out that door. Everything seemed distant, the crowd, the noise, and for once, she thought to herself, is this how peace feels like? The feeling of being detached, wherein there's no prying eyes always looking. She wanted to chase that feeling, to just simply let go of life. It was tempting, for sure, but being the person that she is, she refuses to let go without a fight. If she's going down, she wants every bitch who attacked her to go down with her, most especially, Alma Fillcot. But how the hell would she do that if she can't even move her own muscles. For god's sake, even thinking about how to fix this mess is becoming a challenge for her. The noise is increasing and everything is coming out as a blur. She can hear distant murmurs and she can see people crouching down to look at her. Oh, how she hates being looked down at, the pity and shame was something she can never stomach. But all that went away when she saw blue and red flashing lights. Men in white were rushing towards her, holding something. Then the next thing she knows was that one man was talking to her. "Miss, can you hear me?" Idiot, she thought to herself. Despite how much she would like to answer that idiotic question, all that she could offer was a small grunt. Everything was slowly growing darker and a few moments after that so-called interaction, she was already rested on top of stretcher, oxygen mask placed on her as she is being rushed inside the ambulance. The ride was fairly smooth aside from the constant ringing in her head from all the irritating noise (and the constant "encouragement" from the responders for her to "stay with them"). To say the least, everything hurt and the pressure from her stab wounds made it a lot worst. She doesn't know how far longer she could hold on, what's far worst is that she can slowly feel the panic sinking in as she can't actually move her body, be in control of herself. For once, it was all too much for her, she doesn't know anymore.

The First Dark Curse was broken
NOTE: THIS WILL BE JUST FRAGMENTS OF EVENTS FROM THE SERIES ITSELF. I MIGHT DISREGARD/COMPLETELY CHANGE SOME SCENES JUST FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE STORY OF BOTH SAID CHARACTERS. Also, im back from a very long break :D
Back in Storybrooke, fairytale characters have awaken from the Evil Queen's curse and gathers in the center of the town. As Mary Margaret, now known as Snow, hugs her daughter Emma. But they soon get interrupted by the Knight, who was known as Officer Liam Hansley in Storybrooke, who comes rushing towards the Charmings. "Have you seen Regina?" he asks frantically "I fear that the townfolks will come after, so have you seen her by any chance?" he follows up to which Emma denies not until Archie Hopper, also known as Jiminy Cricket, returns in distraught conveying that some townfolks are going to the Queen's house and their after for her blood. This enrages the Knight, thus, he rushed to Regina's house.
A few minutes have gone by, at the porch of the Queen's house are a mob of angry citizens with Dr. Whale, also known as Victor Frankestein back in the Enchanted Forest, leading them. As he pins Regina to the pillar, a loud gunshot suddenly fired from a distance. "You dare to touch her one more time and second bullet would go through head." the Knight says forbiddingly whilst pointing the newly-fired pistol to him. While the Knight draws nearer to Dr. Whale, he catches a glance of Regina to which she seemed to looked frightened yet menacing as her eyes gleamed of striken fear, her smirk says otherwise.
"Who are you to even tell me what to do?" Dr. Whale says dauntingly to tease the Knight "Well, I maybe no one to you but right now I may be the man that decides your fate, good sir" the Knight claps back to which he followed by a chuckle. As the two of them seemingly stares to one another as if one is waiting for a move, the Charmings and friends comes to interrupt their growing heated discussion "Ok, that's enough you two. Back off now." Prince Charming says as he holds the Knight back while Emma holds Dr. Whale back. The Knight, in fashion, nudges the Prince's hands off and directs his attention to Regina. While the Charmings work their way with the mob, he turns to Regina and puts his pistol back to his holster, "That was quite a show you put there" Regina mutters to him to which he replies "Are you ok? He took quite a hold on you back there" he asks worrisomely. "I'm fine, thanks to you, you never failed me" she says as she looks directly into his eyes which takes a hold back to the Knight's heart.

Captivity
NOTE: THIS WILL BE JUST FRAGMENTS OF EVENTS FROM THE SERIES ITSELF. I MIGHT DISREGARD/COMPLETELY CHANGE SOME SCENES JUST FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE STORY OF BOTH SAID CHARACTERS.
The war has begun. Many deaths and towns are burning. While this was happening, the Queen alongside the Knight, comes across Snow's path, with her unknowningly falling to Snow's trap. The blue Fairy strikes.
After the Blue Fairy successfully freezes the Queen, the Knight tries to fight back. "You'll not get through her that easily, Charmings" he taunted. A fight broke out between the Prince and the Knight, seconds before the Prince was about to be taken down, the fairy intervenes and partially freezes the Knight. "Your a fool! You can't even take me down thus needing your little bugs help." he exclaimed. "Who are you even? Why are you will to die for her? You may have just been manipulated by the Evil Queen but this is your time now, I give you freedom and redemption, stray away from this and live a new life." the Prince replied to him as he approached the Knight's helmet and took it off. This enraged the Knight as his identity has been breached but he saw the Queen's state, she was being led to a jail carriage, so he thought retailation might not be the best option, for now.
A day passed, everyone are back in Snow's castle, Regina is in captivity, and Snow and her alliance gather to talk about what they shall do with the Evil Queen. Prince Charming suggests of executing her, not knowing that outside of the door was the Knight eavesdropping to their meeting. After the Knight hears the proposal, he rushes in to the room, shouting "WAIT!, you can't do that!?". Everyone in the room stands up and were ready to take the unarmed man down. "Hear me out, I know she may be hostile to all, but trust me, there is still good in her. It is just hidden somewhere in her. SNOW, You know this?!" he stammers to the everyone in the room. "Get him out!" Prince orders the guards but he was stopped by Snow "Wait!, are you sure there is still good?" she asks the Knight. "I am sure" he replies back. "We will talk about this. For now, please leave." she tells him.
He was presented outside the room, he was baffled by the influx of situation. Then he crosses path with Henry, who walks towards him and asks him how he is followed by "Have you met with Regina?". He suddenly realizes he hasn't visited the Queen yet, so he replies "I was about to. Now excuse me." Before he can go, Henry tells him "Take care of her, I can't take care of her as much as you can. Protect her, please." The Knight looks back and nods.
He has reached the Queen's prison tower. As he reached the top he sees the jail door and sees the Queen looking off in the far distance of her execution area. "My Majesty! How are you?" he concerningly asks. The Queen looks to him and says "How will you define this?" sarcastically looking at her surrounding. He looks down in shame and chuckles. "But on a serious note, I thought you left, just like my other knights." she comfortingly tells him. "I vowed to be loyal to you, haven't I? I will never leave you and they will never take you." he assuresingly tells her. They look at each other, as if one another's eyes were their comfort place, a place that will always make them feel not alone.

The Queen's Birthday Celebration
NOTE: THIS WILL BE JUST FRAGMENTS OF EVENTS FROM THE SERIES ITSELF. I MIGHT DISREGARD/COMPLETELY CHANGE SOME SCENES JUST FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE STORY OF BOTH SAID CHARACTERS.
It was the Queen's birthday, the entire Kingdom is solemnly preparing for her ball. While that was happening, the Queen is still busy with her hunt for Snow.
"What shall I give her?" asked the Knight to Henry. "My daughter is very hard to please, but I ask of you to give her anything sincere, from the heart." he replied. This makes the Knight think off the distance.
The night has come, the ball has commenced. The Queen has blew out her candles. "This is a waste of time." she sternly uttered. The musician who was still playing in the background annoyed the Queen, and just she was about to kill him, the Knight stops her hands, holds it, looks into her eyes with a calming smile and tells her "It is your birthday, My Majesty and this is a celebration for you. Please do calm down." This does calm her down. The Knight smiles and bows down to her while muttering the words "May I have a dance with you?". This surprises the Queen and before she can answer, the Knight takes her hand and places it on his shoulder and her other hand on his hand, preparing them for a dance.
They slowly dance, and just about they were about to get lost in the moment. Cora enters through the door.

Infertility potion/True Love
NOTE: THIS WILL BE JUST FRAGMENTS OF EVENTS FROM THE SERIES ITSELF. I MIGHT DISREGARD/COMPLETELY CHANGE SOME SCENES JUST FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE STORY OF BOTH SAID CHARACTERS.
Cora visits Regina, with a goal in mind. To "help" Regina find her true love. This was a welcoming idea to Regina, and as she prepared for her meeting with the man, the Knight seemingly was displeased with the idea. "You tell me it's true love but they just literally met for the first time." he said while scourning the tremendous idea, yet he was met with the idea that maybe this was for the best, the Queen does need someone to love her. The Queen meets the man and while doing so, the Knight sees everything. While the encounter, she found out her mother's fraudelent act of disguising the man to be her actual true love when in fact he was a con. This enrages the Queen and partially the Knight.
The Queen meets herself with the idea of drinking the infertility potion, but Cora tried to stop her at the cause of enraging her daughter thus fueling Regina's willpower to drink the potion. After she drank it, she was in agonizing pain, which was heard by the Knight. After Cora left the room, the Knight rushed in to see the Queen clutching her abdomen, crying in pain. Alarmed of the situation, the Knight rushes to her and embraces her in the same position when they first met. "Your Majesty! What happened? Shall I call the Royal Physician?" he alarmingly asked. She faints in pain.

A tedious knight's journey
NOTE: THIS WILL BE JUST FRAGMENTS OF EVENTS FROM THE SERIES ITSELF. I MIGHT DISREGARD/COMPLETELY CHANGE SOME SCENES JUST FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE STORY OF BOTH SAID CHARACTERS.
Being the Queen's knight was no easy task. Many pillaging of towns and days of hunting Snow occured. But even during these tumultuous days, he never left the Queen's side. And here are just some of those days:
During the time she recruited the Huntsman, he was never in favor of him. He knew that he would just be a burdensome for all but he never expressed his feelings and thoughts about that. But it was until he found out the Huntsman was the Queen's so-called lover, that's when he felt something off, something new. He wasn't sure as to what it was but he knows that he doesn't that feeling, almost close to an upsetting feeling. Regardless, he still pursued his new chosen career. But this time, it felt unfulfilling for him, he felt empty inside and this was seen by the Queen's Father, Henry. "What is wrong? You seem lost." Henry asked. Being drawn back to treality, he answered "U-uh Nothing, My Lord." he replied subconciously looking to the direction of the Queen. This was noticed by Henry to which he replied "You love her, don't you?". This shocked the Knight to his core, he wasn't sure if it was love but it is something close to what he is feeling.

Dubbing ceremony
The next morning, after the discussion of affairs, the Knight is preparing for his dubbing ceremony, a ceremony for the process of knightship. He looked in the mirror and stared at his misty reflection, thinking why he feels no regret at all. Then a knock at the door broke his silence. He headed for the door and opened it, it was the Queen's messenger and fellow knights, they are there to pick him up. He got on his horse and headed with the entourage to the Queen's castle.
They finally arrived to the main gate of the castle and headed for the front door. He got down from his horse and headed for the center garden. There awaiting was the Queen, wearing an elegant dress for the occasion.
And finally the ceremony commensed, during the peak of the event, which is the tapping of the sword. The Queen said "Here with this sword, I proclaim you as the Queen's Knight. May this sword be witness to your honor and loyalty to my Kingdom and to me." After which, she handed the sword to him whilst muttering to him "That is custom made enchanted sword, just for you." He bowed and got the sword from her, to which he followed by glancing down to the sword then up to her again, he was in awe.

In the castle...
Lol its been a long time. I got busy and i pretty much forgot this mb. but here i am, in the flesh, continuing this :D
As they headed back to the castle, riding with the Queen is the Black Knight. "So how will my horse be? I love that horse" he asked the Queen after she stunned his horse down. "I'm pretty sure he will be fine, in no time." She replied almost hesitantly. It was a long and grantly, awkward, ride back to the castle for the two inside the carriage. They have arrived now in the castle. The Queen leads the Black Knight to her chambers to discuss the matter of concern. The Black Knight sits down on her settee couch whilst observing her bed chamber. It was dark, yet comforting, and most of all it envokes the Queen's aura. "You want wine?" the Queen asked, startling the Knight. "Uh s-sure." his dubious response, which made the Queen snicker. While pouring the wine, the Queen said "So, I heard the talk of the town, you attempted to kill THE Dark One. I'm Impressed". The Knight looked up to her eyes, "What do you want from that?" he said daringly. "Nothing... much really. I just wonder if you are willing to make a deal." she replied. "I don't do deals. I know what the cost of magic is." he sternly replied. "Hear me out first, chevalier." she said cunningly and continuing "Be my knight. My personal knight. I will grant you protection from the Dark One and a position in my court." to which she ended by offering him the drink. "Mhmmm... I must say it is a tempting offer, your Majesty. But I do kilings by my OWN will, not someone else. So, if I were you, I would find someone else to be your pet." to which he declined the drink right after and as he was heading for the door. The Queen, in fashion, closed the doors with her magic and said "It's an offer you must not refuse, gallant knight. I will provide you everything your measly heart will wish, so now accept my offer." as she seductively walked towards him and leaned closer to him to which she carressed his armor then his face. "You think you will get me by just doing that. Nice try, your Majesty." she replied, pushing her hand away and heading towards the door yet again. "Aren't you tired of your life, your pathetic and monotonous life? Consider this as a new path for you." The Queen, now agitated, uttered. The Knight stopped for a minute or so, and finally, looked back, saying "Maybe you are right, maybe my life is monotonous and maybe I should be your knight." The smirk of the Queen's face was visible at this point and finally spoke "Good decision" as she headed for the drinks and offerend yet again to the Knight, to which this time, the Knight accepted. "Cheers to long and properous partnership for us." she acclaimed and both cheered their glasses together.
