Tried to make some graphics notes. I got bored so I started researching into what I can do for my Gold Crest award. I have some ideas but need to finalise soon.

Think I’m gonna start ‘From blood and Ash’ tomorrow. I have had the book for a bit but I think I’m finally in the right vibe mood now.

What is the weather like where you live in autumn?

Unstable. I live in the UK and some days it’s calm and others it is raining heavily. There’s even been flooding in some parts of the country due to the rain. Today was cold but a manageable kind of cold so lucky me I guess.

The 2018-19 School Year

What Went Well:

I got straight A's and kept my 4.0 GPA

I ended the year with all my grades being 100s or over 100s with the exception of one class

I got reelected to the student council

I won three academic awards

I was able to stay motivated and avoid burn out for like 80% of the school year

I picked a career and a college major

I have a list of colleges I am interested in

I took the PSAT and scored in the 94th percentile on my first attempt

I went to a Youth in Government conference

I served as president on student council and raised $1,000 for my class

I volunteered as a math tutor for 10 hours

I started building a resume

I have a solid and detailed high school plan to get into my dream college

100 Days of Getting Better - Day 1

hi! so the last time i used this blog i was in middle school LOL (for context, after this summer i will be a junior in high school!)*

anyways this’ll be an experiment to see how much i can stick to something, and to hopefully keep me productive over the summer but still have fun! if i miss a couple days i’ll just, continue on from the day i was before. it’ll be 100 (scattered) days of getting better!

The day isn’t over yet, but so far I’ve:

Continued my duolingo streak (I hit 250 days a couple days ago!!)

continued to pick up knitting for the first time in a couple months (started a project yesterday!) in knitting, i’m trying to have something that i can make without caring if it’s good or bad or if im skilled or not. im making something and that’s all that matters!

practiced the clarinet for 30ish minutes for my lesson tmr! (which i am. vastly unprepared for. whoops!)

went to an awards ceremony for my school! i got three awards!!! they’re in math, science, and music which im really happy and proud of - especially the music one since ive struggled a lot in band this year!!

*Note: I’ll probably most definitely change the name of this blog sometime soon! i might change it to smth like “strawberry-studies” or along those lines. my main blog is @strawb3rry-tea btw! so it’ll be some studyblr version of that.
