the emptied classroom is painted in the hues of sunset: oranges and reds reaching the furthest of the colors

and the first thing nate notices when he enters the classroom

almost frantic-like, searching, where is that letter—

is the gold of mihael’s hair, still as the sheet of stationary in his hands

(the one that nate had meant to hide away in his schoolbag, and how had he misplaced it?)

and nate lets himself be distracted for just a moment, hand on the doorframe, waiting for mihael’s dumbstruck expression to change. 

when no such change occurs, he speaks up, soft-voiced, “you weren’t meant to see that,” and pauses, twisting a strand of hair between his fingers as mihael jumps and stutters, “though i suppose there’s nothing to be done about it now.”

he goes to stand before the other boy, fingers bunching up and crinkling the hem at the bottom of his blazer —which was always a little unkempt anyways, 

so what did it matter?

how hard his heart was thumping in his chest and the sweat coating his palms seemed a thousand times more important. how his affections were being spilled onto the floor for everyone —mihael— to see was enough to make him nauseous, and even that paled in comparison to the way the blond’s expression was suddenly unreadable. 

(nate’s never not been able to tell what he was feeling before.)

“knowing what my feelings are towards you,” he forges onward nevertheless, resolutely meeting mihael’s blue eyes, “what will you do now?”

then he falters, looks away. it should be illegal to have eyes that striking.

and silence descends upon them. 

after a few more quiet minutes pass, nate retrieves his schoolbag, staring firmly at the floor. “i’ll do my best not to bother you on this subject again. all i ask is that you—” not mock me “—do the same.” he makes to leave—

only to be stopped by a sharp tug to the collar of his shirt. 

“oi.” mihael’s mouth is twisted into a sneer, although the effect is rather ruined by the flush spread across his cheeks. “you haven’t given me a chance to answer—”

“—you were taking quite some time—”

“—god, do you ever shut up?” nate starts to smile. “hey,” mihael snaps in response. “i’m not finished yet. don’t be so maudlin already!”

“i’m still listening.”

“good.” he steps back, releasing nate’s clothing to cross his arms instead. something vulnerable appears in his expression, just then. “because i wanted to tell you that i… i feel the same way.”

mihael says it so easily. nate wonders if he’ll ever be able to confess anything as easily as mihael has. he wonders if he’ll ever be able to wear his heart on his sleeve. 

(he wonders if he’ll ever be able to tell mihael he loves him out loud.)

what he says instead is, “do you, now.”

“what’s with that lackluster response, huh?! bastard!”

“my apologies.” for all the fury in his tone, mihael doesn’t argue when nate takes his hand and intertwines their fingers. “allow me to make it up to you.”

“ugh, fine.” they exit the classroom together, voices echoing down the hallways. “i’m taking you out for dinner tomorrow, so you better pay for my meal.”

“...you have horrid manners, mihael.”

“watch it.”

so ,,, first im gonna talk about why its so epic that sakura was able to find this friendship right... shes this big scary buff woman and i remember her saying that its been hard for her to find friends in the past bc everyone fears her and her main goal has been fighting and getting stronger her whole life which has been especially hard since shes a woman and feels like she has to prove herself to men (this is also similar to how taka bent over backwards with his studies but in doing so sacrificed friends and social life). im assuming most of her close relationships have been born from rivalries and fights n shit or any relationship she has at home, even with her family and bf, revolves around her wanting to become better than these people by defeating them,,, i think thats also how she shows affection to ppl now sometimes by fighting them. bUT,, then she meets hina who is super bubbly and friendly and ditzy who immediately trusts her right away and asks her to stay with her during the night or smthn like that and sakura is like “homie... shes not scared of me at all... and she gets what its like to be competitive... and to yknow keep working hard every day of ur life to keep getting stronger...” and i think that was a super important moment here bc they seem so different but hina was so open and willing to start a bond with sakura that she prolly hadnt experienced before and so therefore sakura is like HOLY SHIT I GOTTA PROTECT THIS WOMAN WITH MY LIFE but like,, not in a way that she thinks hina is weak,,, but in a way that shows she respects the hell out of her and will always stand by her side to fight with her.

in conclusion: sakura and hina are fucking soulmates and i rlly like to think they wouldve met in a non-despair world bc i think having each other as partners/being by each others sides is such an amazing thing for both of them since they see each other for who they really are and they can both fully understand what it means to be so passionate and driven for the things they love.

hi space welcome back i've missed u!! sorry this took so long, i was gonna treat this ask as a lil writing prompt and then i just. got busy and wasn't really able to do that bc brain is not in creative writing mode (but what else is new lmao)

i am going based off the assumption that the squad don't have any responsibilities for the day (work/practice etc)

finn would love to sleep in, but he is a dog owner and therefore ends up standing in the pouring rain outside his apartment building as his dogs do their business. after that he ends up baking and trying to brush up on his cupcake decorating skills (they are not good), most likely while on video call with either kurt or santana if they're free because he misses spending rainy days with them. he'd probably end the day messing around with the dogs, possibly gaming, or reading for a bit in bed

kurt takes his time getting up but still ends up getting out of bed pretty early bc of his urge to be productive somehow. i think he'd take the opportunity to deep clean the apartment? not that it's particularly dirty but sometimes u gotta, yknow? then he'd spend the evening watching tv with santana (i'm thinking drag race rn bc i have rpdr on the brain often these days but it could be anything)

santana sleeps in. she's probably woken up by clattering in the kitchen or in the bathroom as kurt cleans but she's able to just roll over with a lil grumble. when she does eventually get up, she helps kurt clean a bit, probably gives finn a call to chat and bully him (maybe while playing video games with him? not for long but she does miss doing that with him), and then settles in front of the tv with kurt for the rest of the evening

brittany has been saving a nasa lego set as well as some of their paper models for when she has some free time to just chill and build stuff so she dedicates part of her day to build one of them and listen to music. she also considers doing it on a livestream, actually, but decides against it this time. maybe she'd get inspired to work on her own little spacecraft/rover designs? who knows

sugar takes the opportunity to catch up on schoolwork. she ends up getting restless pretty quickly when she finishes, though so she'd probably end up binging youtube videos or wrangling britt into hanging out with her

quinn spends part of her day just reading. can't tell u what else she does tho bc it veers into spoiler territory so uhh [redacted]

tina also has schoolwork to do* so that's what most of her day gets spent on. once she gets in the zone, she's able to focus for a pretty long time. she might end up taking a break to stress-bake/cook but overall it's just a very study/research-heavy day for her. she would make sure to relax and spend some time on youtube or sth in the evening though

*i haven't actually decided whether tina would take a year off from college for vb or not, because i think it depends in part on whether she could get accommodations to do everything online or not? and also whether she would actually want to spend a year trying to balance studies with her vb schedule or not. so that's all up in the air rn. i suppose the same applies to sug but i think she'd be down to do that considering she's only a junior, as opposed to tina who is a senior and would most likely have a heavier load of schoolwork

The LEAST romantic confession you will ever witness in your life. The only romantic thing about it is that Owada had a single rose that got destroyed because he was nervously messing with it and he gets agressive when hes nervous. He basically went up to Ishi and yelled "I LIKE YOU. WANNA DATE?" and Ishi yelled back.

If you want cute morning slow dances in the kitchen....too fu cking bad. They cant dance. They embarass their entire friend group.

Have extremely varying music tastes, and make each other playlists so that they can try each others music tastes. The success of this ALSO varies.

I’ve been drawing my whole life tbh, I can’t say I haven’t, doodles and coloring books, but I guess I never took it seriously till 3 years ago. I believe it was January 11, 2017? I drew James Potter, from the Harry Potter books and realized I wanted to do it more, yknow? That I wanted to improve and do something with my art.

Humm I think I have some

1. When you’ve been drawing a while, and the drawing looks bad to you, or you feel like something isn’t working, or if you’re getting frustrated, take a break. Could be 10 minutes, could be an hour, or even a day. Stop working on it for a while and do something relaxing, then go back to it with a calmer mind. I used to draw things in one sitting, and so there’s a lot of my old art I’m unsatisfied with because I come back to it after a few hours and I see all my mistakes and how I could’ve avoided them.

2. Speaking of mistakes, they suck yeah, but don’t let that ruin your day. You’re going to have to make mistakes to learn, and sometimes it’s pretty fun to try to fix them. Drop an ink blot there? Draw a bouquet around it. Accidental line on the face? Well this character’s got a wicked scar now. It’s much easier to remove mistakes in digital art, but I do encourage you to try to have fun with it!

3. Use! References! I’ll admit, I’m also guilty of not using them sometimes, it takes a while for my laptop to download things so I don’t really feel like doing it. But when comparing drawings where I used references to drawings where I didn’t, there’s a considerable improvement. Plus, references help build up your visual library!

4. Visual library is v important. Whenever I see art, I always(at this point it’s become subconscious) study the lighting, or the line work, and what makes the piece,,,work, yknow? When I see stuff in real life, I try to remember how light and shadows affect it, how clothing wrinkles in certain places, what colors go together and what emotion they evoke. It’s helpful in building a good foundation for your art, and also makes a fun activity XD

5. I’m aware that some of my followers might have aphantasia, where one cannot visualize imagery. I don’t know enough to speak about this, but this is where references definitely comes into play. As well as art studies. My friend has this, and according to him, “I can’t imagine what a tree looks like, but I do know what a tree looks like, so I can still draw it.” If any of my followers have aphantasia, you are definitely welcome to talk about this and/or correct me if I’m wrong hsdhdh

6. There’s always gonna be bad art. Tho I’m a firm believer of “no art is bad”, I do know how one can be their own worst critic. Trust me, there is always bad art. When our favorite artists post beautiful art after beautiful art, it’s hard not to think about how effortless it seems, and how they seem to never make anything bad, but I promise you they do. I know I do, I just never post it XD so keep drawing, even if it’s one bad art after the other, because somewhere along the line, you’re going to see that you’ve improved, and when you look back on the previous years, you’re going look at the journey that took you here and it’s gonna be worth it.

Some more smaller tips:

-when drawing always check your angle, because sometimes you might be drawing on a raised surface and the angle will be all weird when you check it at eye level

-Save. The. Canvas. I’m a hypocrite and my friends will tell you because I can go 7 hours without saving but trust me, do it. I have lost so many files because of this.

-art studies are always fun! Try practicing drawing different hand movements, or eye shapes, dynamic poses

-don’t be afraid to ask for constructive criticism! (unsolicited critic is a whole other topic) when people give critique they often mean well, but if someone insults your art, and it’s not constructive, ignore it, it won’t help you.

-an art style isn’t in any way wholly original. So if you want to find your art style, I suggest combining different styles and try to find one that fits your tastes! Delicate lineart, bold lineart, saturated colors, pastel colors, cell shading, flat colors, painting, inked, it’s all up to you!

-try out different mediums! You can have your main one, but it’s pretty fun to play around with others

-have fun! Art is meant to be enjoyed, and so you shouldn’t force yourself to draw when it makes you unhappy

I started studying for economics a bit but then I quit because I kinda wanted to go downstairs but also not and I tried to look for my earbud case (yes I'm fancy and have wireless earbuds, they're the best ngl) but i couldn't find them and then I got stressed about that and I also got stressed because it was getting late and I still wanted to sit downstairs with my mom and (honestly mainly) S before they go to bed and uh yeah

I mean my economics test is in almost 2 weeks so I've still got a lot of time left to study but idk, i'm scared I won't be able to get into that same focus again the next time I continue studying for economics and then I lose my focus because I'm getting worried about that and this story is getting too long

Anyway I'm trying to just kinda enjoy sitting downstairs right now and relax a bit but it's hard for me to actually relax. But i don't feel as upset as I did this afternoon/these past few days tho, so that's good.

Anyway I'm gonna quit studying for today and try to let myself do whatever I want yknow?? Idk I'm kinda tired so I'm probably not making a lot of sense

much like gwil, you are quietttt before you get comfortable so when you were introduced to him at a party for a play, it was pretty chill and subdued. as the night came on, you both opened up and stuff to each other.

he understands how you are and what you can and can’t do very well and though he hasn’t met many people with ocd, he tries to understand as much of it as he can when you guys get more serious.

his voice is quite soothing also so when you’re all stressed he just talks you through it. and you rant and you cry and you everything but hes there 4 u and he wants to let you know that!!! he understands how hard it is to just be in a play he can’t imagine how hard it is to run it !

when you have to work late you always apologize profusely to him but he literally just shuts you down. iTS FINNNNEEE!!!!!! he says. he always understands. duty calls, yknow.

you two are that cute couple at the library whispering profusely as you both see books you like. he likes the classics and ofc you like the historical ones and sometimes you exchange books to see how both of you like them. both of you usually end up liking each other's books.

he deffffiniiiteeellyyyy understands acting out scenes when you’re on your own. you join each other often when either of you are doing it and it turns out to be pretty fun and chill.

ok, first of all, i just wanna address: this man is a noodle. he's a big noodle and he loves messing around while dancing. it's basically just a pool noodle jumping up and down and sometimes flailing. you laugh a shit ton when he debuts it during get-togethers and everyone literally loses their shit

his singing voice is so smooooothie and pretty nice even though he sings off key a lot to hide his talent. you always compliment him anyways and you can see the blush on him start to rise.

enter joe mazzello and your crash course with him on playing the bass. though it wasn’t one of the requirements for joe to get cast in the film, he wanted to be sure. gwil took pictures a lot when you two were working together and they were quite cute.

first of all, john is basically one eye of your storm. he is the calm in the middle of everything. though just a dude will not fix what’s happening, he helps you deal with it in a lot of ways.

his presence is just so chill that it’s relaxing. when you’re hurrying to make everything work for the show he can always tell when everything is just. too much. just way too much. he waits for you until you have a break and you guys just eat the food he brings and VENT. vent vent vent.

john is very patient and yes will wait for a whileee before you get a break. but it’s worth it just to be there at your side (to remind you how he still loves you, he still loves yoooooouuuu [sorry]) to just be like. i’m here for you. i love you. you have someone that’ll be there for you when you’re stressed.

he’s also a voice of reason and you both have long talks when you both can just about life and your stresses and everything. yall like talking about the future

he knows your boundaries and what you aren’t comfortable with. like anyone, you feel like you’re bothering him when he offers to go to the store and such for you. you two were very open with each other from the start and you could tell him what you could and couldn’t do pretty quickly.

buttttt your relationship is absolutely not just deep stuff and everything. he has quite the sense of humour and you guys will tend to literally just laugh at like. nothing. the guys will just watch you two giggle and be like … ?? but it’s you and john, there’s nothing quite like either of you.

the boys get used to you two’s loud laughter. you two bring out the best (and most outgoing) side in each other.

you closed the door as quietly as you could, getting home from a very very long and stressful day at work. you threw your keys in the bowl, put your jacket on the stand, and plopped on the couch. you rubbed your face, your eyes, everything in an effort just to kinda… wipe off the tension and stress. you sat up and took a large breath and noticed a card on the table. that familiar teeny little-slanted writing was on there telling you to “just sit back and relax for a little. there’s food and everything in the fridge and i’m upstairs. if you’re coming back in the middle of the night, just wake me. i love you. -john”

both of you love music (ofc) and when he found out you played the bass also he was extremely happy. you’d be someone he could bounce ideas off of, someone to tell him, hey, this sucks or this is really good. you play together often.

one time you were at the studio with him, early in your guys’ relationship but after he found out you played. john handed you his bass nonchalantly and boom. you played just like normal. you looked up and the guys were all staring at you. “what is it?” you asked, handing the bass back to john. “you really are the perfect person for him,” freddie said softly, his smile genuine, happy. you blushed, it was only such a little passage of time that you two had been together.

singing! he loves your voice and you sing along to his playing quite a lot. when it’s a late night at the studio, you two just chill on the couch, you’re on one side, he’s on the other side with a bass, both of you just lying on your backs

Marrying Abe Headcanons

* mark will have to make sure he's alright in the head before having to go up there, since, well, abe is going to be extremely nervous something will happen due to his bad stream of luck of having "partners" i am sorry

* most likely will have mark as his best man, they are (kinda like) buddies aren't they?

* the moment abe sees you coming down the aisle: instant tears. he can't handle how amazing you look and how he's about to be able to have you as his best friend and partner for life and beyond— he's just really emotional and the chef (yes he'll be at the wedding you sillies and yes he made the food) will lean over and pat his shoulder

* he'll get himself together enough (but barely) to hold your hands and smile, barely paying attention to anything but you and will be startled when mark nudges him to pay attention to what the priest (or...whatever the person is called that officiates marriages) is saying

* abe's vows, though you couldn't hear most since he was half crying (and that's coming from a guy who takes things seriously become emotional as all heck) half stuttering, were heartfelt and did in fact move you to tears if you weren't crying already. through his small sobs, you hear that he wants to do what he can to make you as happy as could be. he wants you to be his best friend forever and partner for life, cause he can't do any investigations without his super incredible partner to keep him level-headed and calm.

* after a few minutes of getting abe to calm down, he'll pull you into a sweet and beautiful kiss, his gentle and warm lips pressing oh-so gently on yours, but passionately. he's so happy that you're both officially now the best detectives together forever

* by the time you two get to the reception, abe is himself again, albeit a lot more happier and not as serious. he's even joking around with william.

* the two of you make a total mess trying to feed each other and it's a now an inside joke between you two that you can't handle cake with the other in the same room.

* not many slow dances. i can see abe going for quick-step songs and jazzy stuff so people can be talking and dancing while having fun. you have to take a few minutes to sit down between dances because it gets insane, and you and abe aren't so great with foot work. but when it comes to the slow dances, abe is a little nervous with everyone's eyes on you two, but seeing you lovingly looking at him puts him at ease and he can't help but to whisper sweet compliments to you and how happy he is.

* you two leaving? insanity. mark attempts to break a champagne bottle on you two's getaway ride, but only manages to cause a dent in it and a small argument between him and abe. but it all ends with william managing to break the champagne bottle on mark's head, don't worry he's fine —

marriage life with abe includes:

* long nights with him working on investigations. you leave him be unless he asks for assistance, which he does sometimes since some things leave him stumped. your level mind helps him clear his head to think over some things, and he credits you the most when he solves a case.

* abe does sometimes tend to stay out late into the night depending on how the bad the investigation is and you can't help but to worry about him. he tries to reassure you that he wouldn't do anything stupid because he rather not see you upset and when you insist sometimes that maybe you should come with he says you shouldn't, that he'll come home no matter what. he just doesn't want to lose another partner —

* mornings with you two drinking coffee together and going over what's on the news or in the newspaper, with abe beaming at how adorable you look in the morning, sleepy and messy hair, but still lovely to look at to him no matter how much you protest.

* you'd go with him to mark's manor often, due to mark's worries over the staff there. you don't mind too much, the manor is gorgeous, but you always get a strange feeling when you and abe go in...and you tend to stay close to him the entire time.

* abe will definitely get a dog. and you don't mind too much, it's cute seeing him and the dog play together, especially with the impromptu investigations abe comes up with to train the dog.

* he gets a little jealous with how much time the dog spends with you tho, and you let him know he doesn't need to worry too much, the dog isn't that bad of a criminal to steal you away from him. (which causes abe to interrogate the dog on the spot, making you laugh a t o n)

* just. lots of abe being sleepy after a long day/night and sitting next to you, holding you close to his side and he enjoys a moment with you before falling asleep, which makes you hesitate with waking him. he looks so peaceful and happy that sometimes you two just sleep on the couch. you both have a bit of back pains in the morning and abe apologizes, but you both really don't mind, it was a nice moment.

* arguing with abe tends to get intense at times. we all saw how the argument between him and the colonel went, but with you, it'll be without, y'know, weapons. just bitterness from his voice. and it hurts you both a lot. he sometimes storms out of the room to his study to look over files, but he can't focus. all he focuses on is what you two said to each other and he can't handle it that well. it's not until you timidly knock on the door does he snap out of those thoughts and lets you in, immediately hugging you and apologizing, saying he argument was dumb and that it shouldn't have gone that far. you apologize as well and say that it would be best to talk about what started it, to figure out the issue and talk it out, and abe agrees wholeheartedly. he doesn't want to hurt you and you don't want to hurt him since he's been through enough as is.

* so. children, right? if you decide to go through with it, abe will discuss beforehand with you all about it, child care and all, just to make sure you two, yes, both of you, really want to go through with this. if you do, lord is he going to spoil the child. name them his "little detective" and let them help him work on stuff. he's going to give in to them when they cry or whine, he just adores the child so so much. and you can't help but to find it very endearing and adorable to watch, abe holding your child up on his shoulders and they run around the house getting chased by the "criminal", or dog. sometimes you join in as well and you all end up crashing onto a pillow fort you made. if you adopt, abe will do the same. it doesn't matter to him if you have the child or adopt with him, that child will be so important to him like you are. if you don't want children, abe will be upset, he was expecting to have a small one to come home to along with you, but after a discussion about it, he'll understand and accept it. he'll enjoy the extra time he has with you, plus he'll worry less that you won't be home alone with a baby or child while he isn't there.

* sometimes the investigations do get to him, and he appreciates how you help him calm down and relax. he needs a leveled and calm mind for this stuff and you help him achieve that. and he does twice as much when you get down about things as well. you two usually make a drink for the other to help them relax, but more than likely you end up curling up together on the bed with your dog, enjoying each other's warmth and de-stressing with cuddling galore <3

I was at first answering this via mobile so bear with me if my answers are wonky text wise :p💭: Favorite foods?I really like sushi, mofongo with cod, sauerkraut/kimchi, and fresh cheeses! ☀: Story about your day?           well this morning I got up a bit later than the usual weird 5:00-5:30 am callings, and im pretty sure the birds that keep trying to make a nest under my window have babies there now (WHICH SUCKS. THEYRE INVASIVE AND LOUD.) but yes.... took the public bus to school and hung out with friends until it was time to go to 1st period!           I had math (it was laid back today), then 2nd period, which was history! (also laid back. however this kid that sits next to me..we had a weird half-anger half conversation about why it was important to do our interviews in order to graduate highschool and he kept on calling it a pointless dumb thing, which makes sense since he doesnt do ANY homework or classwork. at all.. none of it)           I then went to my english (also laid back. did notes and watched frog jumping contests on youtube) then had lunch and messed around with friends, then had 4th (bio!) and did MORE laidback relaxed stuff. it was a Time. Then lastly, 5th period I had my AVID class and I was just reading and catching up on stuff ! (Even tho my teacher got Angry, since we were supposed to be in “study groups” but I don’t have anything to study and have more urgent stuff so...... yea! after school i took the bus home and now im here!🎥:Top 5 favorite movies?Wizard people dear reader, the babadook, naussica is also really good, that’s all I got... i don’t watch movies very often :p📺 :Top 5 favorite TV shows? OITNB, South Park, Rick and Morty, aand...
