Now that today is Tuesday, I’ve conjured up a fresh new talentswap! Give a warm welcome to Myth, Former Ultimate Child Caregiver!
——————————————————
BACKSTORY AND TALENT
Myth’s parents work at an orphanage, and as such, she was born and raised around little kids. She may have 3 biological sisters, but emotionally, she has close to 53 siblings. Myth bonded especially with a rough-and-tough street rat the same age as her. However, when Myth started to get older, the orphanages funds began to falter. Myth’s parents had no choice but to send their strongest orphans to ”aikido training” in order to earn them money. And sadly, Wyre was amongst the strongest orphans. Myth was deeply hurt by the loss of her childhood friend, but she had to remain strong for the rest of the orphans. Many other Ultimates also visit Myth’s orphanage in order to assist her in caring for the children. She claims she can do it all by herself, but deep down, she appreciates the extra helping hands.
——————————————————
RELATIONSHIPS
Wyre Anon, Former Ultimate Assassin Aikido Master
Wyre has been Myth’s friend ever since Wyre was first brought flailing and screaming into the orphanage. Myth is only one able to calm a little Wyre down from her outbursts, even to the present day. Myth is also the only one who knows of Wyre’s secret identity as “Ryuuken”, a highly dangerous and violent assassin, and regularly controls Wyre in case she can’t fight her violent nature.
Anon Scar, Ultimate Adventurer
Scar, or “The Crusader Of The Mortal Realm” as she refers to herself, is well-known for traversing across dangerous terrain and through precarious situations. Scar is also a big hit amongst the kids at Myth’s orphanage for her bombastic anecdotes regarding her travels, abliet with Myth and Fusion translating the more complex parts of her speech. Scar will never admit it, but she has a soft spot for the ”Spawn of Heart”, as she calls them.
FU5-10N (aka. Fusion Anon), Ultimate Robot
Originally built for the purpose of being a science museum’s tour guide and mascot, FU5-10N has since being upgraded to look after little kids as well. While some more skittish kids may be a bit unnerved by this 6,3 metal man, the fear quickly dissipates when said 6,3 metal man starts telling dad jokes and science trivia. Myth quickly got along with the metal man for their shared love of puns. However, FU5-10N is also the only one besides Myth who knows of Wyre‘s true talent.
Fusion Anon II, Ultimate Cosplayer
Fusion II is well-known across conventions for her impressively accurate craftsmanship regarding her costumes. Fusion II regularly acts sarcastic and ”too cool for school”, but Myth and the kids quickly busts down her snarky exterior to reveal a massive nerd deep down. Because of Fusion II’s talent, she can not only repair the orphan’s torn clothes and plushies, but she‘ll improve them and make them at least “20% cooler”. She’ll never admit it, but she lives for the orphan’s smiles and words of gratitude.
Just Anon, Ultimate Artist
A natural prodigy when it comes to all sorts of art forms, Janon very quickly establishes himself as a cynical and lazy jerk. Or at least, around adults and kids his age. When around people younger than him need his help, he’d always there for them in a pinch. Unfortunately for him, Myth regularly teases and praises Janon for his soft spot towards the orphans, claiming that he should start working here full-time. This usually earns her paint splashed in her face.
Sparkle Anon, Former Ultimate Magician
Sparkle, or “THE SPECTACULAR SPELLCASTER, SPARKLE“ as she refers to herself, might just hold the record for the most bombastic and elaborate magic tricks ever performed on stage. Myth’s relationship with Sparkle goes back more than half a decade. In fact, Sparkle got her start entertaining the kids at Myth’s orphanage. Myth regularly volunteers herself to assist Sparkle in her magic shows. Even as an adult, Sparkle still hasn’t lost her sparkling and eccentric charm. She lives for the thunderous roar of applause and the tsunami of smiles from her loving audience.
Egg Anon, Former Ultimate Supreme Leader, and Wet Sock Anon, Former Ultimate Astronaut
While Myth normally would allow anyone to help out at the orphanage, these two are the exception to this rule, and it’s not hard to see why. Egg has but one goal; to brainwash children with cursed thoughts and indoctrinate them into their cult. Their twin, Wet Sock‘s main goal is to extend the reach of their cult to outer space. Myth speaks for everyone at the orphanage when she says that Egg and Wet Sock’s cursed images and concepts are hazardous to a child‘s mental health.
Curious Anon, Jr. Ultimate Anthropologist
Just like with Scar, Curious’s stories of their worldly travels entice the children of Myth’s orphanage. And Curious as a person is an equally pleasant experience, for they are tranquil, mild-mannered and easy to get along with. Myth regularly tries to set up Curious with Janon, knowing that Janon has fallen hood-over-heels for them. But despite Curious’s knowledge on the foreign aspects of humanity, romantic feelings seem to be foreign even to them.
Anon Nerd, Former Ultimate Tennis Pro
Unlike other Anons, who frequent the orphanage for the kids, Nerd is after the adorable caretaker, not that he’ll ever admit it. However, Myth knows her romance and would stop at nothing to get Nerd to admit his feelings for her. Not even getting her lip busted by a Mach 2 tennis ball or getting bashed in the head with a tennis racket would stop this girl. She can and will get this tsundere tennis champion to confess, even if she has to suffer scouter burns in the process.
Eldritch Anon, Ultimate Detective
Years of working in law enforcement has left this diminutive detective panicky, hostile and distrusting of just about anybody. Ever since Eldritch heard of an assassin hiding out in the orphanage, Eldritch will stop at nothing to find the assassin hidden among the orphans. But in the meantime, Eldritch has to shake off pesky kids who think he’s one of them. Myth has to save Wyre‘s bacon on the daily from this paranoid detective who wants her incarcerated.
Dream Anon, Ultimate Pianist
Having been attracted to music ever since she was a baby, Dream dominates piano competitions year after year with her energetic and triumphant tunes. She regularly wheels her piano around town looking for places to perform at, which is how she happened upon Myth’s orphanage. Performing for the orphans gives Dream a rush of euphoric feelings that winning competitions could only hope and dream to achieve. And the cute detective that frequents the orphanage with her isn’t half-bad either.
Iris Anon, Jr. Ultimate Inventor
Despite her clumsy and goofy demeanour, Iris has a 7-year winning streak at her hometown’s regional science fairs. Famous for inventing and marketing a new and improved version of Moon Shoes called Astro-Uggs, Iris regularly shows off her inventions to the children of Myth’s orphanage and even donates some of her inventions to Myth in hopes of improving the living conditions of the orphanage. Iris hopes that her inventions would make the world even better and more awesome then it already is.
Purple Anon, Ultimate Maid
With a selfless attitude and an overly formal vocabulary, Purple regularly comes to the orphanage to assist Myth in caring for the children. Despite Myth claiming that she doesn’t need the extra help, Purple insists that it’s the least she can do. Purple always tries her best to help the kids, but most of the children have no idea what she is saying due to her old-fashioned and complex vocabulary, which requires Fusion to translate for her.
This series revolves around Myth and Fusion trying to prevent the other Anons, Eldritch in particular, from finding out about Wyre‘s true talent. However, Wyre doesn‘t do a very good job at hiding her true nature and soon, everyone else but Eldritch finds out. So now, it’s Everybody Else vs. Eldritch.
——————————————————
APPEARANCE
Myth wears glasses and has undyed hair in two low and long pigtails, held up by green scrunchies. She has a matching green headband with yellow stars and pink hearts and a heart shaped ahoge, designating her as the protagonist. She wears an oversized pink hoodie with yellow details and a smiley face on each pocket, over a blue shirt with multicoloured shapes on it. She also has a necklace with a green clover in the center. She wears a red belt that holds various stuffed animals and a yellow belt that holds a first aid kit. Her long and light blue skirt has various patches sewn in and on her feet, she wears red Mary Janes.
———————————-———————
PERSONALITY
Despite what ChildCaregiver!Myth’s fashion sense would suggest, ChildCaregiver!Myth is more serious and almost monk-like in her tranquilty. Being surrounded by children since birth has caused ChildCaregiver!Myth to grow into a caring, calm and empathetic soul. She is also known to offer sage-like advice on how to deal with loss and abandonment, having dealt with abandoned and parentless children. However, ChildCaregiver!Myth has a bad tendency to overexert herself and spread herself too thin, something also caused by being surrounded with kids. She can be a bit stubborn on insisting that she doesn’t need help and can deal with this all by herself, much to the concern of the volunteers. If I had to compare ChildCaregiver!Myth to a canon character, I’d compare her to Kirumi.
——————————————————
Finally! I’ve finished ChildCaregiver!Myth! Let me know what you think of this talentswap!

My -not requested- thoughts on the new Godzilla vs. Kong Trailer
So...
It’s here.
The trailer that I think a lot of people might have been waiting for. The official Godzilla vs. Kong movie trailer and BOI was it a ride.
Before you read this post, please be aware that these are only my initial feelings/ thoughts on the trailer after taking a look at it. This does not reflect my ideas or beliefs on the franchise as a whole. These are going to be subjected to change once I get a chance to see the full film.
That being said, I’ve got a couple of thoughts on the trailer which are below:
1. Kong in chains? Really guys?
Let’s face it, the first thing that comes to mind when it comes to King Kong are probably the popular stereotypes: Climbing a tall building, carrying a scantly clad woman, oh and don’t forget about the chains.
Seriously?
Look, if Kong really does this listen to this little girl, or at least trusts her enough to defend her, the chains aren’t needed. Seriously. Just ask the girl to help convince Kong to sit on the boat long enough to get to wherever the hell Godzilla is. It would be nicer than falling back on a rather racist mentality where “dangerous things” have to be held down while in transit. Sound familiar?
Or the writer’s could have done the odd thing and given Kong a reason to willingly work with these humans, like say, Godzilla showing up one day to Skull Island, wrecking everyone’s shit, pissing off Kong, and then ducking out. Kong’s good, but he’s not an aquatic lizard. He’d definitely need help getting back at the Big G then. What better than with the tiny humans in the big ass boat? He’d probably go sit on it himself and tell them to hurry it up.
TL;DR the trope is out dated and racist.
2. Battle on the ocean is cool and all....
But if you’re going for realism, those boats, no matter how big, don’t stand a chance. Realism has been the goal of these versions of the movies. Godzilla was specifically designed to be as realistic for what a large, water-dwelling monster, could be if it ever stepped into our universe. All of the kaiju have been designed this way so far.
“But Dragon,” you say, “They’re kaiju movies. They can’t be realistic.”
To that, I say, touché. Correct in that regard.
However, each of the monsters, Godzilla, Kong, Mothra, Rodan, Ghidorah, Skullcrawlers, Warbat, the Mutos, and so on, were all designed with realism in mind. Their main purpose was to be designed in such a way that there was no question that they couldn’t exist in our world. The creative team behind the movie is banking on the realism to give these movie an edge that a lot of rubber suit Godzilla movies don’t have. These affects are part of why the only other, hyper-realistic Godzilla movie, Shin Gojira (Godzilla Resurrection in America) did so well in Japan. There was no question that Shin Gojira couldn’t exist, and wouldn’t come out of the ocean to destroy all of Tokyo.
3. Godzilla changing sides wasn’t out of nowhere. We knew this was going to happen.
They totally foreshadowed that at the end of KOTM when the plane/airship flew away. Their whole conversation was pointed out for this main reason. They were setting up for the Big G to be the bad guy in this movie.
Not that that’s unusual. Godzilla has flipped sides a lot in his time. Shin Gojira, for example, depicts him as an obvious villain. The Showa Era movies see him more as a relatable hero of humanity. Heisei has him flip a bit back and forth, or at least hold a neutral tone. Millennium Era was roughly the same with movies like GMK having him as an obvious villain while movies like Final Wars gave him a more neutral tone.
Now the American versions have been aiming for him to be a friend to humanity that suddenly turns with only a small handful of stubborn characters (Millie Bobby Brown’s character for example) absolutely believing that someone, or something, has caused Godzilla to go on a rampage against humanity. Another movie that made this switch? Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah (1991). Godzilla starts out as a dinosaur living on an island that saves the Japanese forces during WWII, only for him to be essentially reincarnated in a new form after the shenanigans of the movie, turning him into humanity’s enemy, further forcing them to revive King Ghidorah as Mecha KG to fight him again.
No where in Godzilla’s history, has he ever been 100% friend of humanity. Even in the Showa Era movies, which were altered to be very child friendly, one could place a lot of argument for neutrality, at best.
4. But all of this doesn’t mean that we as viewers can’t be frustratingly upset about this fact.
Godzilla and Kong both have ardent followers. There are probably many that are upset over the sudden turn. Finally, here, we have the best American versions of the Big G depicting him as a hero of humanity, only to be suddenly hit with the idea that he’s now the big bad and will lose to Kong.
Kong people, you’re awesome.
But I’m rooting for Godzilla.
Of course Big G fans are going to be upset. If history has taught us anything, it’s that Godzilla is about to have his tail handed to him by Kong. May I remind everyone of this gif?
Unfortunately, this point is going to have to sit until the movie comes out. Until we can be certain of the storyline, there’s no way to say, one way or the other, who the victor is going to be.
As viewers, we’re allowed to feel betrayed by this change in storyline and characterization. They better have a damn good reason why they’re suddenly making G out to be the villain. The writing is going to have to be on point for this movie to be a success.
5. This movie is going to have to choose between two endings: Alternative endings OR a Combined ending.
Buckle up. This is my longest point/ section so far.
Here’s the thing: When the original GvK (depicted above in gif form) came out way back in the start of Godzilla’s long and storied history, Kong was the winner. Plain and simple. For years, there’s been a false story or rumor going around that this version of the movie had two endings- one where Kong won (which was presented in America) and one where G won (presented in Japan).
But that’s not the case.
See, Godzilla had just become a thing a few years before hand. He only had, like, twelve or so years in existence at the time. Kong had been around for around thirty years and was wildly more popular to viewers. Therefore, Toho made the executive decision to save Godzilla by having him fight Kong, and have Kong win. There never was a second ending where Godzilla won. He didn’t have the follower numbers, yet, to allow that to happen. Even then, the numbers of box office tickets for each of the Godzilla movies shows how up and down his stardom has been. This can even be seen in the ten year gap that happens between 1975 and 1985 where no Godzilla movies are made; the Showa Era ends in 1975 with Terror of Mechagodzilla and the Heisei Era doesn’t even begin until 1985 with The Return of Godzilla.
Now, Monsterverse is going to have to make a tough choice: script, write, and create two alternative endings where Godzilla and Kong win in each, ultimately making the other a loser, and then having a continuity issue that they’re going to have to deal with in all subsequent movies OR combine the two by making Godzilla and Kong chill on each other and fight a different kaiju all together.
Honestly, as cool as the alternative endings would be, I just don’t see it being feasible to do.
Therefore, I’m under the impression that we’re going to have a third kaiju enter the ring. One that is going to be powerful enough to get the two most powerful kaiju on planet Earth to team up with each other.
You’ve got three (four if you’re digging) options for this particular villain: The new Warbat kaiju, King Ghidorah (and subsequently Mecha King Ghidorah, making number four), OR MechaGodzilla.
Warbat seems to be the more obvious answer as some of the smaller ones were presented in the trailer, and Ghidorah/Mecha and MechaG may appear random.
Or maybe not.
Some leaked toy images for figures that are/were released for the movie, depicted a MechaG as part of the set. I do not know how reliable that information is. They could have pulled it for all I know and, no, I don’t have time to research it now. If you’re at this point in the essay anyway, might as well read to the end.
Here’s the deal: if MechaG exist then so can Mecha KG. I’m not talking about realism at this point (number two if you skipped that part), because neither could technically exist in a more “realistic” version of kaiju movies. The science just wouldn’t be there in this civilization that mirrors our own specifically. I haven’t heard anything about free fighting, giant robots being a thing in this world. No, the giant Gundams in Japan don’t count. These movies have been rather strict in following the “laws of reality”. Everything in the them could feasibly happen if, and only if, kaiju were real in this world. That is what makes them appealing to viewers. It only makes sense, then, that if they’re willing enough to break their own rules over realism, then both options would be viable candidates for a combination baddie that gets G and K off each other’s throats.
My question then would be- who’s controlling them?
Is MG and MKG going to be controlled by aliens again (as depicted in both of their origin stories)? If so, that would help to heal Godzilla’s relationship with the humans and force him and Kong to work together. It would also open the Monsterverse all the way up for new storylines that involve space like, say, SpaceGodzilla or even Biolante (my absolute favorite who I would love to see in the Monsterverse, but, I digress). If not, then humanity is going to have two very pissed off kaiju on their hand. Godzilla for being betrayed by them again and Kong for being dragged off his island, forced to fight, only to get backstabbed by them. It definitely wouldn’t help that they are, quite literally, the two strongest kaiju on the planet.
More than likely, the space angle won’t happen. Monsterverse will probably make MG Monarch’s creation, but then make MechaKG/KG Alan Jonah’s creature since we saw how he was so gun- ho on getting that KG head at the end of KOTM. However, it doesn’t stand to reason that Jonah’s character would have the resources or know-how to build a Mecha out of nowhere. While resourceful, that information wasn’t provided at all in KOTM.
Monarch, on the other hand, could say out of nowhere, “Oh, yeah. We’ve been studying these kaiju for so long that we figured out their weaknesses so we built a giant robot to beat the shit out of them all, but we kept it secret because the Government cut all connections with us and we didn’t want to lose our ace just yet.” See, unlike Jonah’s character, they have the resources. They have the know-how. They have the people to do it. That storyline would be more believable than what they’re attempting to do with Jonah, which is somehow giving him control of Ghidorah.
I have better chances of teaching my cat to tap-dance than Jonah has of controlling Ghidorah.
I doubt anyone on this planet would be able to control KG. After all, it was very pointed in his origin story in KOTM that KG was a space alien, sent to Earth for some reason. To change it? To control it? Who knows, but it definitely didn’t come with good intentions. If KG in the Monsterverse is a space creation, much like in his origin story for the Toho branch, then it would stand that only the aliens who created it would be able to control it. Meaning that, unless he has the override passcode for the genetic mutating the space creeps have to do to control such a large kaiju, Jonah’s character is going to be the first one squished once KG has time to revive. I’ll eat my hat if he manages to figure it out.
As of right now, we can’t be certain how long it has been since the end of KOTM. Millie Bobby Brown’s character appears aged but that could just be her growing in real life since the last movie came out. There’s no real way to tell right now. Nothing that I saw in the trailer at least would be helpful. I would imagine that it would take KG a long time to come back since all that remained after that final battle was one pretty dead head that had been at the bottom of the ocean if his regrowth factor is going to even be considered here. It would have to regrow its other two heads and its complete body again. Honestly, I just can’t determine how much of a threat KG is going to be in this movie, if at all.
My money’s on Warbat being the big bad with possible MechaG undertones.
*****************************************************************************
There you go. My unsolicited Godzilla movie trailer thoughts. Remember: these are only the initial thoughts on the trailer that came out today. Some of these will be changed as soon as I possibly can when the movie drops.

subject #13 — filename: august.txt
- ̗̀ ❛ muse 13, kim jongin, he/him. ❜ ̖́- did you hear about the monaco trip? it’s legendary at ucla. august choi is going, i’m so jealous. their instagram makes it seem like they’re pretty introspective and they’re all about pencils tucked in ears & weekend e-sports marathons. can you believe they’re only twenty three and they’re going on a free trip to monaco for the summer? hopefully they don’t let their perfectionist side show too much on the trip.
hey guys my name’s ari! i just woke up literally 30 minutes ago and i thought i missed opening so..... love that for me. this is my first tumblr rp in a long..long time so i’m a wee bit nervous but i’m really stoked to get this started so.. go easy on me? if you wanna talk or plot feel free to hit me up on discord (I HATE THIS SHOW#7316) or in tumblr dms i don’t bite! anyway here’s my boy genius august!
full name: choi “august” gunwoo nickname: august, auggie faceclaim: kim jongin age: twenty-three zodiac: taurus gender: cismale pronouns: he/him sexuality: heterosexual occupation: student ( aeronautic engineering major )
positives: passionate, intelligent, intuitive, patient, resourceful, caring, optimistic, creative, handy, resourceful, introspective, humble negatives: gullible, naive, competitive, guarded, self-pitying, stubborn, reclusive, timid likes: e-sports, game of thrones (only until season 7. s8 is trash), mythology, astronomy, the marvel cinematic universe, comic books, traveling, adventuring, aliens, outer space, science, video games, engineering, conspiracies, buzzfeed unsolved, computer science dislikes: his stepfather, rudeness, not being good enough, proud people, rigidity, being limited, rules
highest gpa of their class
considered to be very humble
think of: abed nadir, jimmy neutron, seth cohen, marco (star vs. the forces of evil), peter parker, hiro hamada, tadashi hamada, matt flamhaff (13 going on 30), noah foster (scream)
meet august:
i don’t know how else to describe him other than he is the next bill gates. for real this guy is the biggest whiz kid around, think of jimmy neutron child prodigy but with a much more normal sized head
he’s basically gifted with anything you can do with your hands. he’s been tinkering with “gadgets and gizmos” ever since he was a little lad and hasn’t stopped since. from building robots to playing the piano to creating cosplay suits of armor, he can pretty much do anything if he sets his mind to it. the gag is if he focuses too much on one thing he starts to get bored, so for him constant mental stimulation is a must.
grew up in san francisco california and raised mostly by his mother and older sister because they lost their dad pretty early on from a sickness. he is extremely close to them, being the youngest and only boy in the family, and he dotes on them every second he can. he is very big on family, and when his older sister had her own son he took on the role as favorite uncle so quickly. he’d die for his little nephew. unprovoked.
his mom eventually married this sleaze ball of a douchebag to the max.. he’s essentially a deadbeat and auggie hates his guts but he pays the bills and his mom can’t bring herself to leave him for her own reasons and august would never hurt his mother ever so. he has to live with it. the two guys always butt heads, with his stepdad being the more aggressive of the two always resulting in august holding his tongue and taking the brunt of it. as soon as he was old enough to move out he zipped outta there.
because of his exceptionally bright capabilities, he was granted a full ride scholarship to ucla where he’s currently studying aviation and aeronautic engineering. yea he plans on exploring outer space. boy’s got big dreams and if there’s anything you should know about august it’s that once he sets his mind on something he won’t back down til he reaches it. he’s been fascinated with planes and rockets and spaceships and aliens since he was still a tiny kiddo, and even now he sometimes slips and blurts out astronomy facts in random conversations.
as for his personality, despite his incredible roster of skills and capabilities our boy is actually a very timid one, very introspective and chooses to keep to himself most of the time. not that great with social cues (as a kid he was bullied for being somewhere on the spectrum but now he sees it more as a “superpower” of sorts, if you will) — doesn’t have that many friends but the ones he does have he cherishes with everything in him. he would do anything for pretty much anyone — even to the point of blindly following them — which more often than not leads to him getting walked all over. cue the people in his life who try to sway him to do what they want (bad influence plots anyone?).
the running gag is that august here is very much the human equivalent of a robot. if something of relatively minor inconvenience pops up: System Malfunction.. ERROR! Rrrrrr
he’s very sweet it’s just that for all his intelligence, he can be very naive? he puts his trust in people a lot, even if he just met them, cause he thinks it’s only right to give every one a fair chance. as mentioned before he doesn’t bode well in social situations — he’d much rather sit at home playing a game from his collection or rebuilding a scale model of the mars rover from scratch. he’s a bit of a loner, he tends to isolate himself a lot because he likes a bit of peace and quiet. his mind is so full of things he needs a little space to process his thoughts. he is not good at reading people although he is very very loyal. when things go awry he tends to panic because there’s no manual for this?!
I FORGOT TO MENTION!!!!!!! auggie is a big animal lover and his best friend is his aussie shepherd named clifford. they go pretty much everywhere together. yea.
that’s it for now but like this to plot !!
#I JUST WOKEUPSPDSDJSK#DID I MISS ANYTHING??#i am excited to be here lets go monaco nation!#monaco:intro#「 ▨ ◟ ┈ ┈ 𝚏𝚒𝚕𝚎 𝚗𝚊𝚖𝚎 : ooc.psd ◝ 」#i will work on wanted connections later.............yea
