Whether you're a new arrival or not doesn't matter to the jester, she fully understands where your anxiety & fear of this place comes from & sees no reason to judge. She might attempt to explain this world if you were new but it wouldn't do much from her own mind being just as puzzled about it.

Pomni does questions your method of escape. Don't get her wrong, she also wishes to escape from this world that tells her to call it her new home, but compared to how you're going about it, her fear of any future self-inflicted injuries on yourself twist her stomach in ways she'd rather not feel.

The jester nearly breaks out in sweat whenever a sudden, clamorous Pow reaches her ears & immediately runs towards it, reckoning it's you. Don't be surprised when she's around you often, if not by your hip the whole time with her reasoning being that of not wanting you to cause your knuckles to bleed, even though that doesn't seem possible in this world.

Whenever your fist collides with a wall or nearby surface, Pomni swiftly recommends either searching for an exit together or hanging out in her room. Accepting the former leads to her holding onto your wrist the entire time & tugging you away from any surface she considers you might attempt to punch. Accepting the latter is slightly better in which she allows you your space as she strives to talk about anything that comes to mind, though she does keep an eye on your hands just in case.

Whenever questioned for her insistence to constantly be in your presence, Pomni's argue of ensuring you don't get hurt or go mad never falters. Kinger & Zooble don't ruminate on it afterwards, with a slight sarcastic comment from Zooble from time to time; instead of questioning, Gangle & Ragatha regard Pomni's avouchment to your safety rather positively, with Ragatha being much more enthusiastic & probative.

The constant flood of questions & pestering naturally comes from the purple rabbit, whose incessant rejection of personal space & seemingly never-ending strike for getting on other's nerves nearly gives Pomni a headache, even if such a feeling is impossible to feel in the Digital Circus. No matter how many times Pomni drags you away from wherever Jax might be or how many times Ragatha tells him to dial it down if he refuses to stop, the rabbit never fails to pop out of thin air to question Pomni's reasonings & minimize the possibility of a potential exit, though it might come off a bit more impertinent.

The jester often ponders how she hasn't lost it yet, how her paranoia for her new existence & situation didn't lead to her being abstracted & a part of her deems it's because of you. She regards that by always looking after you, ensuring your security & health is in tip-top shape keeps her mind grounded & holding off from snapping at any moment. This thinking however could potentially lead to a almost twisted dependace, she watches over you (distant or close, rarely matters to her) & in return, her sanity stays plenary.

She views it as a win-win situation for the both of you, though it is more a conclusion to comes to on her own rather than something both of you have discussed. Any attempt to hang out with the others alone is futile as Pomni insists to go with you, for your safety of course! & not amount of refusals can/will deter her from at the very least watching over you.

That is amazing, I would love to see your work if you are willing to share it. I first watched it when I was about 6-7 years old, so no doubt that rewired my psyche to what it is today. I project(ed) onto Erik an unfortunate amount: not necessarily/completely the version of him from the 2004 film, but Gerard Butler’s Phantom certainly won in the costume department compared to the stage productions.

I could gush about the lair aesthetics and outfits (although it may not be the most historically accurate) of the movie for the rest of time. I am tempted to rewatch the film for the sole purpose of taking screenshots for reference. The Phantom’s dark ensembles at any given time? I am envious. Christine’s ball gown in “Think of Me”? Gorgeous. The transition at the beginning with the Overture and switch from black and white to colour? Unparalleled. If I could ever afford a house, I would love to decorate it in the lair’s maximalist style minus the abundance of candles/fire hazards.

Have you ever watched the 1990 miniseries of POTO by any chance? It’s unaffiliated with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical and deviates from the original plot somewhat, but it is tender and heart-wrenching and highly recommended.

Between the two performers, Pomni is clearly more open about her nervosity towards your ire. Her most luculent style is through her words— of which are very few— which range from asking on your day to softly recommending to take a breather & perhaps see whatever angered you in a different perspective. She swears it's for you well-being, she promises!

It doesn't take a genius to know that Jax isn't one to entertain the thought of displaying his sentiments to anyone. His complacent attitude with everyone's situation of being trapped may be one of the ways he pisses you off, a fact he's unfortunately aware of & utilizes constantly in your presence.

From calling your outbursts entirely cute to claiming he found an exit only for him to reveal last second that he lied before sprinting off, close to nothing is off the tables when Jax wishes to see a reaction from you, something that fills Pomni with utter alarm & always ends with her pulling you away to either of your rooms.

Pomni views Jax as a enabler towards your rage. Someone who, if not caught in time, both influences your emotions so much & enkindles the blaze in you to such an extent. The jester fears that if she isn't there, your blood might begin to boil under you skin, that your throat might tighten, that you'll grit your teeth so hard they'll hurt, that you might do something you might regret. She can't have that! She can't!

Where Pomni sees Jax as a bad influence towards you, he regards the jester as too ardent, especially around him— Or Caine— but mostly him. The rabbit disregards any demur as them needing to learn how to have fun & any coming from you is swiftly cooed at— Whether mockingly or not is your choice.

Though don't for a second think he doesn't care, he does!.. In his own way, but he cares! While he's all for you fracturing anything or everything you see— Especially the others stuff— he isn't exactly a fan of being accused of whatever your mind chose to be pissed off about at the moment. Jax would lead your ire elsewhere the moment he suspects he's going to be the target, why not break Gangle's comedy mask to let out some steam? Or go & blame Kinger for that headache of yours? If nothing, Jax drags you to join his antics to "brighten" you mood.

Pomni has, more often than not, approached Caine towards Jax's possible influence on you & your issue in the hopes of getting the purple critter to perhaps leave you be for a while. When Jax hears of this, he acts offended as if accused of murder, more so if she seems to think he doesn't care for us & views us as toys for him to play with. He'd deny every & any words coming from the Jester's mouth, calling her a desperate &/or clingy freak that needs to learn to back off & to mind her business.
