merry christmas!! if you're open for scenario/headcanon type requests, do you care much for characters eating until they fall asleep? it's one of my favourite scenarios, especially when they have to unbuckle their belt or undo a few buttons and are already starting to fall asleep as they push in the last few bites of food (i firmly believe malleus and ace/deuce would do this lol)

Hello and Merry Christmas Robin! ^^ Yes, I love scenario and headcanon requests! I may not be able to reply to them right away especially with other things I have to do in life but don’t be afraid to send me headcanon and scenario requests. :)

Onto the topic itself though, I hadn’t thought about characters eating so much that they fall asleep, but it’s something that honestly sounds incredibly fascinating! The more I think about it as well, I also can think of some headcanons of where some twst characters would eat so much they would end up in a food coma.

First of all, I actually do like your headcanons and I really do think they would work with Ace, Deuce, and Malleus. When it comes with Ace and Deuce, I like to believe that it would of happened to them multiple times, either during one of the unbirthdays, or a school festivity, they somehow ended up unintentionally overindulging while they are talking and joking around with each other, and as a result they wind up extremely lethargic during the night. During times like these, they try sleeping at the ramshackle dorm, because if they slept at their own dorm, they would be forcefully woken up by Riddle or another dorm member and given a scolding. When they are in a good environment though, they would be sleeping for days on end!!

It would probably take a bit more effort given that he naturally has to eat more than the regular person. I like to believe that Malleus can be the kind that gradually gets more drowsy the more he eats. How tired he gets is an indicator on how much he’s eaten. Some times after a rather large meal, he would simply walk into his room, and fall asleep for days. In these rare instances he will eat so much that he knocks himself out at the table.

From here I might as well tell about some other characters that I believe would fall asleep after a bit meal.

Silver - this one is pretty self explanatory. He would be doing practically anything and he would fall asleep afterwards.

Ruggie - Also pretty self explanatory, almost any situation can happen to him for as long as it involves food.

Leona - I am sure this thing happens to him almost daily, especially knowing how much he both eats and sleeps. He would indulge in large quantities of meat and sleep through it all no matter the circumstances.

Azul - this is generally something that happens way more often than what he may like, where he would end up discouraged that he ate so much he came into a food coma. The tweels would first mess and tease him about it before actually trying to carry him to bed.

Epel - I don’t have too much of a detailed reason for him, I just like to think he would often unintentionally get into food comas either during festivities in his hometown or during times where Vil is not around or not looking.

Ukiyo Ace's killstreak (Gary Stu?)

Answer is no, not entirely, depends on context, and for a simple reason.

The only reason Ace isnt a Gary Stu is because clearly the guys been on the DGP scene long enough to know how most of every buckle mechanic works by repetition, hence why he kicks ass. "Borrows" buckles, he has the knowledge & muscle memory the others don't have, "yet" (says Neon, and she's right. They'll be pros too one day.)

Best way to write someone who's over qualified: Just contextualize that they're experienced.

Cause when a character has ZERO experience and still owns everyone, now thats a Gary stu/ Mary sue

The difference is experience. Geats is a beast, legitimately, because he's been on the block enough times to know what he's doing.

(However, Deus Ex Machinas can easily defeat the "experience" narrative / Unless you foreshadow & it doesn't break power balance, an asspull can break/ stress immersion even when everything else is done correctly)
