"we can make it across that." tara said aloud, though she wasn't entirely sure. she looked over at amber, a bit of worry across her face. "here take my hand. we'll test how deep it is and see if we can swim across it."

as angry as she was, being separated from xaden right now was so much worse than being angry and around him. at least if he was at her side, she know he was safe. and while part of her was relatively sure she couldn't trust most people here, she needed some help. her hand reached out to grab the next person she saw, relieved that it was really a person, if nothing else. "hey, sorry i'm looking for my.. boyfriend." she pulled up a picture quickly. "have you seen him?"

"sorry, i'll have stuff out of the way in a second." nianqing said, hearing footsteps and knowing he currently had several potted plants blocking the sidewalk. he had managed to have a few plants outside growing when he arrived, and hoped to have a bigger setup next season, glad to have some small hobbies he could just do quietly by himself. "these all need to be moved inside before it gets too cold, and the maze completely put me behind schedule. it's just going to take a few minutes." they could of course just walk around the whole mess, but he felt obligated to explain himself anyway.

Ban Yue blinked and rubbed her eyes hard. ". . .are you seeing this too?" The ghost thinks she's going insane but she needs to be sure. It almost looked like someone was. . .typing in the sky?
