Currently a Canadian dollar is worth 74 cents american, which means the US dollar is worth more, because 74 pennies usd have the same value as 100 pennies cad. You can buy 100 Canadian pennies with 74 American pennies, so each Canadian penny is worth less?

The family's previous tent collapsed in the summer and they desperately need a new one as they're exposed to the elements. They're looking at a Qatari tent which is made of leather and can withstand rain and storms. However, fundraising progress is extremely slow and they receive donations of USD $5-10 over days.

Dina has been living in Gaza with her husband and four children. she lost her parents and four sisters, and had to give birth to her youngest child Ronza during the war.

at time of writing they've raised about €82,642 out of their €100K goal to leave Gaza, for travel and accomodation expenses, and to survive in the meantime.

Sama and her family are facing harsh conditions in the heart of war and destruction in Gaza. The family consists of five members: her husband, her two daughters (9 and 2 years old), and her newborn son, who was born in a tent amidst continuous bombing. Heavy rains and strong winds are battering the tent, which is unfit for living, putting their lives at constant risk. With children present, the situation becomes even more difficult.

They have been displaced multiple times, each time facing the same threats. The children are exposed to diseases due to lack of healthcare, and they do not have enough clothes for the winter. The family is also suffering from a severe shortage of all essential supplies needed for survival.

Hello! Please help Mona and her family!

I'm writing this post to bring attention to Mona (@monayazji) and her family's campaign. Their young family comprises of Mona, her husband Yousef (@yousefalyazjii1), and their son Alaa.

This campaign has been vetted by gazavetters (#87 in the list) and gaza-evacuation-funds (#3 in the post). As of the time of writing, their campaign currently only has kr24,289 SEK raised out of the kr200,000 goal (12% funded), with only 6 donations from the last 24 hours.

Her son currently has bad skin irritation very likely caused by their current living conditions (environment, water and sanitation, etc). He is only 1 year old, and this sort of irritation could get very distressing to such a young child, and even more so with a pretty widespread involvement such as in Alaa's case. Medications, along with everything else in Gaza, have become very expensive, add to that the also high cost of milk and diapers which he would need daily.

Please consider donating especially if your currency is strong. If you cannot, please share Mona's campaign. I have most recently donated 100 SEK (~10 USD) to their campaign (proof under the cut) but I cannot donate much so I am making this post so I can try and boost this campaign, and if you can match or go above my donation, that will be amazing.
