(Happy, good news) Update on the gremlin who runs this blog under the cut

Got myself moved into a new apartment! With a full-sized kitchen, in-unit laundry, and driveway parking! Exciting!

The new apartment appears not to have wifi yet (even though the advert said it was supposed to?) so that’s why I haven’t been on tumblr a lot. At least I have my video games

The apartment wasn’t furnished, so I went a *little* crazy with getting stuff to furnish it. Like I went out and grabbed a very heavy free TV stand that didn’t fully fit in my car when it was dark and super foggy outside, so that may have been a bit stupid/reckless (But it was free?) And at least I was smart about the rest of it - I got lots of used/free stuff and made sure it fit in my car or asked a friend for help before picking it up.

The only furniture I bought that wasn’t free/used/on sale was a mattress set (which I think is worth it, because I didn’t want to risk the spread of bedbugs or whatever the heck else might be in a used mattress), and the furniture store was doing a special, so I got a free bedframe, pillows, and sheet set with it, and they delivered it to me - so I did get the most bang for my buck there (even though it was like. An entire paycheck’s worth of bed)

So now I’m a smidge short on money since I bought stuff for the apartment and paid rent (I mean. So I have no money. What else is new? At least this one was for a fun reason and not because a Random Trouble^TM happened to me). Unfortunately I realised yesterday evening that I forgot to pay my student loan payment for December. Whoops. I’ll have to wait until payday to do anything about it tho.

Anyways. At least I’m moving up in the world. Slightly.

So,

Favorite color: blueeeee!!, but honestly I love almost every color and it depends on the mood to decide which one I'll choose or use or whatever

Currently reading: besides my 16 open ao3 tabs, I'm reading "The butterfly garden" by Dot Hutchison, which I haven't got the chance to read that much since school and more stuff has kept me pretty busy, but yeah, so far it's been engaging and I'm a sucker for psychos so I hope it's good.

Last song: Man, lately I've been going down a Rammstein spiral and oh baby Jesus I swear my family can't be more sweet about enduring my daily five hours blasting their songs at full volume. Last one I heard just a few minutes ago while finishing my homework was "Sonne" from the "Klavier" album and, seriously, if y'all feel like it you should check out the song, IT'S JUST *CHEF KISS*; I swear that whole album speaks directly to my soul, but this song in particular does something to me. The notes for the verses are so dark and intense, just like the original song, but at the same time it has this neat and elegant detail, and don't even get me started on the chorus part, because it really gives me the chills. Is so delicate and smooth and delightful I can not not fall in love with it.

Last series: Yesterday I couldn't sleep so I opened Netflix and played one of the first ones that appeared on recommendations. It was about a girl who pretends to be rich and plays the elite, I don't remember well the name but I think it was something with "Anna" in it lol

Sweet, savory, spicy: For what, exactly? Lmao. Uh... If we're talking food, for dessert obviously sweet. For food in general, bro, I'm Mexican, I eat spicy food all day every day, and I love it. As for savory, i guess sometimes?

Currently working on: Trying to perfectly schedule my days between school, study for a super important exam that is twisting my guts with the anticipation and getting back to practice with my guitar :(( it makes me real sad I don't have enough time to play again. I'm hoping on sparing some time next weekend and get acquainted with my baby again.
