So yesterday was my daddios bday. Usually I do a post and wish him a happy one in heaven. But I let everyone make those this year. I have a lot to unpack with this man. So many locked up and traumatized emotions that I need to work through. My damage and want of validation from men stems from the relationship with him. The feeling of not wanted. Abandonment and so much more. One day I'll get into that.. just needed to get it off my chest.

Trials and Tribulations .... every day, we strive to be better than we were yesterday. Forever evolving into yourself! Yourself 🤔 Do YOU know who that is? I have often sat and pondered this on many levels. Looking back on my life and "WHO I WAS" But I was NEVER MYSELF. I was always who I NEEDED to be to survive that moment. Who I NEEDED to be to make EVERYONE else happy and comfortable. We as humans strive for connection, whether that connection is pure or not.
