A while back I made a lot of beautiful surreal comics. I always knew I wanted to do something with these. I finally decided to turn them into postcards! 

They come in a set with 5 different comics on them and 5 envelopes to put them in. 

I think this is a nice collection to have ready at home in case of sudden yet urgent snail mail! 

I am trying to think more commercially with products to sell while making things I like. That’s a strange border to navigate. What do you think of commercial thinking?

Me and my collective 5-PanelBeeldenstorm always love to go to KamperStripspektakel. It’s a fun, outdoor comic festival. This year, me and Vick gave comic workshops at Bibliotheek Kampen and got to present our new comic book Stripsgewijs. Somehow teaching feels very natural but presenting the book was scary to me! Vick leaded this presentation with his natural charisma, it helped my nerves a lot. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a more “business appropriate” picture of me but this hopefully makes me even more #relatable.

The last comic of this JulyDotComic month! Which one was your favourite?

I was listening to a podcast while making this of course.

Together with my collective 5-panelbeeldenstorm I got to work on a two page comic for the magazine of Kamperstripspektakel. We made a comic by passing it on to the next person one after another. The first one is by @xiphosuras the second by @comic_void_fiction (on Insta) the third is by me and the last is by @marsuro . It was a lot of fun to work in a different yet creative way. I really like the colours of the entire piece and I got to use a different technique for once which was entirely analogue! (I know whut)
