I promise I will get around to posting all the lovely Pavo Playdate photos. But this one (well these two) needed their own Tumble. You know how there is a kid at the playdate that doesn’t mind getting wrapped by other people. Well..... Jaxon is not that kid.

Nathan Sykes One Shot #3

The aroma of chocolate chip cookies linger in the air, and you huff impatiently waiting for another batch to finish in the oven. “Babe, aren’t you suppose to be happy this time of year?” Your boyfriend, Nathan, laughs. “It’s almost Christmas!” His boyish grin makes you smile, and you look out the window of the cabin Nathan and you rented. Snow was everywhere. “It’s our first Christmas together. I want everything to be perfect.” You sigh, turning to face Nathan. Smiling, his hands rest on your hips and push you so your lower back rest against the counter. He gently uses his strength to lift you up, placing you on the counter. “It is perfect. Everything is perfect, even you, Katie.” He kisses your nose, causing you to smile. You hum, closing your eyes and resting your forehead against his. You both stay like this for a few minutes, silently enjoying each others’ company. Until Nathan decided to get cheeky, his fingers now gently wiggling your sides under your shirt. “Nathan, stop! That tickles!” You laugh, pulling away from him and placing your hands in his chest to playfully push him away. “What does? This?” He asks, still tickling you. You squeal, grinning. “St- stop! Or el-else!” You manage through your giggles, bringing your lips to his. “Or else what?” Nathan mumbles against your lips. You grab the bowl of cookie dough to your left, “or else this will happen.” Taking a large sum of the dough, you squish it into his hair. “Oh my god, KATIE!” He yelps, pulling away from you. You laugh at his deer-in-headlights look, throwing your head back in joy. He looks at you with a twinkle in his eye, before getting cookie dough to do the same to you. “You… didn’t…” You say slowly, your laughter ceasing. “I….did…” He teases, rocking his head side to side. You smile, grabbing more cookie dough from the bowl, and next thing you both know, you’re in a cookie dough fight. Laughing, you both make a mess of the kitchen and waste the rest of the dough. The oven timer goes off, indicating the cookies in the oven are done. You pop off the counter,and take them out the oven. After putting the cookie sheet on the oven, you turn to Nathan. “Aw, Nathan! I needed to make more cookies!” You say in between laughing, “and now we’re all messy.” “It’s okay, love. Two batches is enough for Santa. And we can always go take a shower..” He winks, guiding you to the bathroom. You smile and shake your head, knowing that Christmas is going to be perfect.
