I have tried a lot of wraps in the past six years, and none has surprised me like @pavotextiles Hearts SilverSpun. Though I find that combinations of wrapping qualities contribute to whether I like a wrap or not, I have never before found a dry wrap that stays at the top of my rotation. Hearts SilverSpun is dry but is also soft with a lot of bounce and cush. For this reason, it is easy to wrap with and is great for big kids even in singe-layer carries. I first grabbed Hearts SilverSpun when I had just returned for a weekend away from the family, but I was home for only 20 minutes before we had to head to the ER because my older son needed stitches. I grabbed hearts (it had just arrived), my enormous mom bag, and the boys, and we dashed to the hospital. Because I had just come home, my toddler (about 27 lbs) wanted only me, and I ended up wearing him for 3.5 hours in a sloppy DH. I did not need to adjust the carry, and we were both comfortable for the entire stay. I was floored. Since then, this wrap has never been put away in my wrap cabinet.

Hearts SilverSpun is not only beautiful but is also a workhorse that is easy to care for. The cotton (white) face is drier, so I often have that side out when I want a little more grip. But for DH and FCC, I like a little more glide, so I wrap it silver side out. Oh…and this wrap makes the best chest belts!

Started pulling out the Christmas decorations last night! (Yes I am behind)⠀ ⠀ This is my Achilles’ tendon; Finding the right time to decorate. ⠀ ⠀ I truly love the holidays! I just try to wait until after thanksgiving to decorate and then BAM! We are well into December and I’ve still no idea where the boxes of decorations are. (My organization skills leave a lot to be desired)⠀ ⠀ So I’m working on finding the balance. Decorating for me and not being envious of those HGTV houses. (Do they even have kids??!)⠀ ⠀ This year, we’re giving the Christmas village it’s own spot.
