All I can think about is Katsuki dating someone with a baby—

"Hi Mai, I'm Katsuki," He kneels down to the four year old's height but he's so big and the little girl immedietly burst into tears and hides behind your legs.

"Oh honey, it's okay," You coo at her, picking her up. Mai isn't convinced and hides away from Katsuki.

"I'm sorry, she'll warm up," You explain, but you weren't too sure. Mai had a shy personality, and was very attatched to you. You just hoped that Bakugou would be patient with her.

Mai started shedding her shy personality once you arrived at the aquarium.

"Mom, fish!" She yelled in excitement, tugging on your hand to get you to walk faster. Katsuki stands back and just watches you interact with your daughter. He knew he liked you, but seeing you be a mom did something to him and he imagined this being his life forever.

"What are you thinking about?" You asked when you noticed Katsuki seemed distracted.

He opens his mouth to answer but Mai interupts him when she squeals, "Mommy penguins!"

Katsuki was closer to her, and the little girl grabs his hand and drags him through to the penguin exhibit. Bakugou is taken aback, but quickly pushes back his fear of scaring her and kneels down to look at the penguins swimming as Mai squeals in excitement. She can’t pronounce his name correctly, so Mai just addresses him as ‘Suki which warms his heart.

It’s like a switch got flipped and Mai wouldn’t let go of Katsuki’s hand for the remainder of the tour through the aquarium. You stand back, smiling and snapping pictures, just watching as Bakugou showed a much softer side to him.

The day ended with Katsuki buying Mai the biggest stuffed penguin the aquarium store had, and the little girl could barely hold onto it as she fell asleep in her stroller.

“You didn’t have to get her that,” You said, feeling overwhelmed by his gesture.

Bakugou feels a string of anxiety pull in his stomach, wondering now if his actions were seemed as inappropriate.

“I-,” He tries to be truthful, “I’m sorry, I should’ve asked. Mai just seemed so happy and I wanted to get her something to remember me by.”

That melts your heart, and you kiss him on the cheek. “Thank you for being so sweet to my baby.”

Katsuki is blushing so hard, his ears are ringing as he helps you by packing down the stroller and putting it in the trunk while you tuck Mai into her car seat. The little girl was out, but still hugging her penguin.

Katsuki keeps the radio low as to not wake Mai as he drives you two home, holding your hand and already planning the next outing.

I found the set list for the Smith Street Band set im going to see next month and holy FUCK im so excited

Like at first I thought it would just be their new album since its the Life After Football tour (which would be. Eh. Like don't get me wrong there's some really good songs on there but I don't love all of them yk) but it isn't!!

Like god. Just those first four songs (Do Nothing Forever, Birthdays AND I Still Dream About You??) Holy FUCK - and Change My Name is a pretty damn good song from the new album (AND June Egbert song hell yeah)

Shine and Surrender back to back is so fucking good, and those last three?? Ik they're basically legally required to play Passiona and Death To The Lads but god im so hyped, and the Alanis Morissette Like A Version should be fucking incredible

Also the only songs I haven't heard on here before now are Arrogance of a Drunk Pedestrian, Don't Fuck With Our Dreams and Chips N Gravy and god DAMN do they fuck so hard - im pretty sure some of them have a Wombat State Forest and/or Strings Attatched cover so god damn am I excited to finally be able to listen to those (I've been trying to listen to the songs I didn't know before now (aka anything outside of More Scared Of You Than You Are Of Me/ Don't Waste Your Anger/Life After Football and the other random singles I know) but it's good having the concert to push me into listening to them lmao)

Someone on my dash was talking about cm characters as a band a while back (I can't remember who sorry lemme know if it was you) but anyway it has been my go-to daydream material ever since so here we go I'm gonna write down my thoughts on the bau as a band:

-Matt is like the frontman/main singer because duh, although the other band members get plenty of chances to sing lead on songs too. Matt plays guitar.

-Tara plays keys and occasionally guitar aswell, she was a child prodigy and studied the classics so whenever a song calls for strings she can also pick up a violin or cello or whatever, she can basically play any instrument.

-Derek is the Bass Player™ because of course he is

-Derek is widely known as the 'man candy' of the band even though Matt is often seen as the 'main guy' so gets a lot of the attention from media and fans. Also Tara is RIGHT THERE but people are stupid.

-Luke is also RIGHT THERE but he is the drummer so he's usually sitting at the back, also he is the human embodiment of the fucking sun so loses a lot of the usual appeal of the 'bad boy band member' perception. Although plenty of people think drummers are sexy (myself included- google jess bowen you will see what I mean) so he has a healthy corner of the fanbase that would go to war for him (and have done in the past).

-Penelope isn't a member of the band strictly speaking as she doesn't sing or play an instrument but every other member of the band considers her to be one of them. she is basically their manager/publicist/social media gal/handler, essentially they couldn't live without her.

-because of her close relationship with Derek and their general flirtiness, plenty of fans shipped Penelope and Derek in ther early days, and even when Derek started dating Savannah and they got married, there were still a lot of fans convinced they were secretly in love and made crazy conspiracy theories about their 'relationship' because what is a band without a crazy fandom conspiracy theory ship

-amidst all the craziness surrounding Derek and Penelope nobody really pays attention to Tara's divorce from her scumbag husband, and Luke's fake PR relationship with famous actress Lisa which quietly fizzles out and is never mentioned again

-also nobody notices when Luke and Tara start friends with benefits-ing because Tara is hopelessly crushing on her friend Emily from across the country and Luke is hardcore crushing on Penelope from across the tour bus- what better way to commiserate hopeless love lives than with no-strings-attatched sex??

-eventually when Luke and Penelope figure their shit out and get together, they try to announce it to their fans but so many are still convinced Penelope is secretly with Derek and they think they're faking it

-it is simultaneously extremely annoying and extremely hilarious to the whole band

That's it that's all I got
