So like, Strike Back is such an underrated and unknown show, but it’s one of my favorites. I just got past the middle of season 8, and I am broken. The way they handled Mac’s death was beautifully tragic and absolutely heart-wrenching. I wish every show would send of characters with as beautiful of a homage as this show did for Mac. Who cares if it takes a who episode or two? I will rave about this show and cry about it until the day I die.

Kim & Michael “maintaining their cover.” 💋
Strike Back ep 4x05
(Did a rewatch in the last couple of months of the Scott & Stonebridge seasons. The series holds up. One day I’ll watch the seasons after Scott & Stonebridge depart when they are put on MAX to stream instead of buy/rent options only)

After much hesitation and serious deliberation, I finally broke down and watched the four-episode story arc of Rebecca Levi, played by Lyne Renée, from Cinemax’s Strike Back series.
Yes, I tend to be a prude and knew there was strong sexual content involved. But, I wanted to see Lyne’s performance. She did not disappoint. Her Rebecca is a woman of regret and a woman of duty.
While her performance in Deep State is better, in my humble opinion, I am in awe of how much Lyne Renée was able to convey in these four episodes. It is no wonder that fans to this day regret the character’s death.

ON THE RAMPAGE, HAMAS, PALESTINE, ISRAEL, GAZA, PHILLIES HIT 6 HOME RUN’S, SPECIAL OP’S, STRIKE BACK ON CINEMAX & NEVER GOT TO ANY REALTY TV
On The Rampage, Hamas, Palestine, Israel, Gaza, Phillies Hit 6 Home Run’s, Special Op’s, Strike Back on Cinemax & Never Got To Any Realty TV Today is filled with numerous notable events in various spheres. In the political arena, there has been increased tension as Hamas and Israel clashed in Palestine, generating heated debates and discussions. Simultaneously, in the sports world, the Philadelphia Phillies made headlines by hitting six impressive home runs, much to the excitement of their fans. “Strike Back,” always was able to offer viewers an action-packed and adrenaline-fueled experience which is why we need them in Gaza. In reality and seriousness, the fast-paced nature of these events easily engrossed everyone in the excitement, making it easy to lose track of time. However, amidst the commotion today, one thing went un talked about, the lack of any reality TV coverage because I never got to Big Brother, Survivor, The Amazing Race, The Challenge USA, Below Deck, Southern Charm, I hope to yap about them soon!

Fuccckkk this was SO HARD! A lot of them were good for a few seasons but then get bad so take what I say with a grain of salt, BUT I found a few that are faves and don't get worse as time goes on
Supernatural [Okay, this one had some duds in the middle and we don't talk about that finale, but overall, this will always be a favourite!]

We Have Arrived, Gente! It's Alec Hair Appreciation Saturday!
Tumblr media
Here is Alec in the Skye One/Cinemax series Strike Back: Vendetta where he played a Bosnian Muslim terrorist named Zayef.
He had to grow some EPIC hair for that role! And the thing about viewing hours and hours of interviews, YouTube vids, film festival panels, and bits of footage here and there, is I know that he tends to mess with his beard as a tell, when it's gotten very long, or when he's thinking. I like recognizing that. :-)
This is one of the screencaps where he looks less insane.
Thanks for reading, everyone! Talk to you all tomorrow and take care.
