I just found out last night that there is a homebrew application that allows you to streetpass other people from your home !! :D The streetpasses don't always show up though and I think it's luck based and you can't do another one until after 10 hours But it's a start and the fact that it's a thing makes me very happy :D

It's called NetPass and it's on the Universal Updater

A comic based on one of the more frustrating aspects of Find Mii from StreetPass Mii Plaza.

Bonus points to anyone who recognizes all of the famous (and infamous) Miis!

i reject miitopia's notion of the miis being human, they are creatures to me

they are malleable, they can be anyone or anything, their forms are made to mimic, to imitate, to take roles, they are made to entertain both the audience and each other

they live by sports, and other games, and even roleplay. they have a whole island resort centered around sporting events and recreational flying, and a plaza dedicated to other games outside of that

even the fantastical monster-battling adventures of find mii and monster manor, or the tyranny possible in warrior's way and market crashers, or the spacefaring of mii force, they all exist as games in the streetpass mii plaza. they are enrichment for these little guys

even the miis' mundane lives are full of quirks and oddities, like how if a mii absolutely hates a certain food, they just straight-up melt. world-ending process. and they just go back to normal after

and all of that, ALL of that malleability and entertainment comes down to their distinctive faces that let them take the roles of people and characters in the first place, so when that peace is disturbed by say, a spiteful face thief, all hell breaks loose

I was today years old when I learned that the DS (Lite, in my case) plays a different sound when your turn it on on your birthday. At first I thought something was wrong with my console and panicked a bit 😭😭

I'm a little sad that I never got to use PictoChat at all. At least not by myself. I do not know anyone who owns a DS and I guess I'm just too young...
