Cobra vs Upward Dog!! Which do you prefer?! 💞 🐍 🐶
👉🏼 Cobra Pose:
🐍 Legs and pelvis stayed rested on the floor and arms are slightly bent (or very bent for a low cobra).
🐍 More flexibility focused. This is going to actively stretch your shoulders, chest, upper back and abs. The more you practice this the more flexibility you will build for upward dog and advanced chest openers 🐍 Helps to reduce lower back pain by taking pressure off of the lower back region.
🐍 Effective pose for improving digestion and reduce bloating after a big meal.

🐶 Legs & Pelvis lifted off the ground and arms are straight.
🐶 Strength Focused. Upward dog builds strength in arms, legs, wrists and shoulders which makes it a building block for more advanced yoga poses that require strength AND flexibility!
