“Honestly, I had no idea that you’re an avid fruit lover as well! ーー Guava, it was? They’re expensive so I’ve never tried them, but they have such a pretty light pink color! Apparently they pair quite well with strawberries as well. I’m sure a guava and strawberry smoothie would be absolutely delicious!”

"I knew you would be interested in that! I mean, you scream strawberry-lover with just one look at you, so I was hoping you'd like to share this wonderful opportunity with me. Guava always makes me feel better, especially guava juice. But having that all alone is a little boring, you know?"

He could tell she liked them with one look, indeed. However, Kino was able to pick up more than her fondness for the fruits overtime, which took more than one observation, naturally. But she didn't need to know that... The excitement in her eyes was amusing, he figured that messing around with her a little would be entertaining enough, and if he could bother the other six brothers? Priceless.

"Sharon-chan, right? I wish I could bring all kinds of fruits with me at all times, but I'm only one guy. See, I have connections here and there, I could make one call and have a truck spilling tons of strawberries all over you... but that would be quite a mess, don't you think? A soft sign fell from the female's lips as she stood amidst the white roses, enjoying the feeling of the gentle spring breeze blowing through her hair.

The Sakamaki manor might have somewhat of a bad name in the area, often referred to as a 'haunted house', she could not deny that its garden was absolutely stunning. It was almost more of a miniature forest rather than a garden, surrounding the entire mansion as well as spreading behind it, with trees and flowers blooming the whole year through.

It had rather quickly become her favorite spot, especially at times when she needs some alone time, away from the brothers and their everyday antics.

However, today there was another - rather unexpected - visitor.

"...Eh?"

Sharon almost did not believe her own eyes, wondering for a second if she was perhaps dreaming or hallucinating. Did Reiji put something in that slice of cheesecake she found in the fridge and ate earlier?

After all, what could a child be doing over here? This was no place for children. Her initial instinct was to go warn the boy and urge him to leave as soon as possible, but his overall aura an demeanor seemed calm, not at all like what you would expect from a lost child who just wandered into unknown territory.

Then perhapsーー?

"...E-Excuse me! Uhm...Well...This might sound really strange but...Who might you be? I've never seen you around here and we don't exactly get a lot of visitors either. ...Especially not children your age."

"Ahaha! Right! How silly of me! I should probably introduce myself first, huh? My bad! I'm Sharon! I'm a...resident of this manor, I suppose you could say?"

[He needed a break. A break from hiding in the addict at least. He hadn’t gone to school for a week just to get away from having to Subaru’s face for the week. But as well as stay away from the whole fiasco of a women moving in. He hadn’t caught her name, or try to get any info on her at the moment. Not like he cared she was just another bride the brothers would kill and throw away like trash onto the sidewalk.]

[He sat in silence listening to the air, watching the pedals move slightly. It was a hot summer night he could only cling to fall or winter to approach. He had planned to completely stay away from the girl as he didn’t want anything to do with another bride but it was fatal, there was no hiding. Especially from the curious ones.]

[He was too concentrated on the scenery in front of him to notice the pink haired women who was standing near him. Watching him in confusion. He was too caught up in watching the hallucinations of.. Her in front him to know. His eyes held a empty regret. It wasn’t until Sharon was half way through her sentence for him to start hearing her, once he cut out the noise of screams.]

“..Hah…?”

[He turned to look at her, only to reveal beautiful familiar scarlet eyes, a pale face his mouth open enough to see his two front teeth. He didn’t move, he didn’t glare, he just stared at her like she was some idiot. Listening to her introduce herself. He merely blinked at her holding a dead expression. His eyes intense staring holes into Sharon.]

“A resident? I knew that already, there’s no need to introduce yourself I know who you are.”

[He turned back to look at the scenery behind him inside. Playing with the white roses petals gently. He may have seemed calm but in his mind he was screaming ‘shit shit shit’.]

“You know.. If you approach people in this house randomly you’ll only end up getting yourself hurt or worse..”

“Killed.”

[His tone seemed all to familiar, though it was calm and collected still holding a slight feeling of annoyance.]
