I know this is the site of Edginess and Drama, but sometimes I really appreciate stories where characters are allowed to be in mutually supportive and fulfilling relationships. Where maybe both characters are kind of a mess, but at least they know they can rely on each other for love and support, and the story isn't afraid to let them own up to their own bullshit when one of them falls down on their side of the bargain.

Omg I’m crying happy tears guys.
I found a way to easily import playlists from Spotify to YouTube Music so I don’t have to manually add them all (we’re talking 7+ story playlists consisting of a few hundred songs and counting here, I’ll make a new page all the playlists live on)!
Tune My Music is free and available for a variety of platform-to-platform transfers! Hope this finds someone who can benefit from this information! It sure as fuck just saved my ass a boatload of work.

What if... Haru and Eden... ???
haha it'd be a high-maintenance nightmare, but it'd be a lot of fun for both of them until Eden realizes how immature Haru is. Despite his flirty ways and his tendency to find his way into as many beds as possible, Eden is focused and serious when it comes to most aspects of his life. Haru is mainly here for a good time and is quite happy to let other people take care of him.
And... Charlie getting a job travelling with the guys on tour, and handling it like a pro because even Taiji and Haru aren't as high-maintenance as Eden. Everyone is impressed with how unflappable he is, and Charlie shrugs like, "Yeah, I've had lots of practice. You should meet my little brother."

If I can’t draw anything that I have planned, like a story, then I’ll still settle with simply writing it. I have so many things I want to write- I want to start writing complete things for Chaos Continuum, I think that would be fun, among other things, like major things for my OC’s, too.
But, it’s a combination of just occasionally forgetting, not knowing where to start/what do to, and worrying about getting the characters wrong, even if they’re my OC’s, or even getting the regular/canon characters wrong, even if they’re different versions that I’ve planned out for my AU/Continuity.

I like villainess reincarnation stories but only if it's a revenge story like-
Mc died in the og and now that she's back in the past she's getting revenge on the people that killed her (or just did her wrong in general)
Anything else with villainesses has to be isekai or else it just doesn't make sense to me (unless it does somehow💀)

You ever get so into your writing that you forget what’s happening and suddenly you’ve written several chapters and you gotta reread it all and you’re like damn okay James you didn’t have to do Iris like that.
Or is that just me?

I love it when movies use the fact they're told in an inherently visual medium really well, and put a lot of effort into being appealing to watch on a purely visual level alongside more general good storytelling elements.
If I were to make a list of my favorite movies from, say, the last five years or so, I'd absolutely include on it movies like Joker (the 2019 film), Saltburn, and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.
All of these are very different movies; all of them are excellent examples of very tightly plotted, character driven narratives; and all of them use the fuck out of the fact that they are told in a visual medium, with incredible attention to visual details beautifully and expertly utilised as additional storytelling tools.
(The animation in Puss in Boots: The Last Wish? Stunning. The use of color in Joker? Masterful. The framing and coloring choices and camera work in Saltburn? Brilliant.)
Some movies are very pretty and have very little substance, but in a good movie, careful attention to visual details are just a sign that the person/team who created it cared to tell not just a good story, but a great story specifically for the medium in which it was told.

Yeah, this is always the thing for me too. I see people claim the problem is when the narrative doesn't punish them for being awful. I don't mind that at all both because plenty of real assholes aren't punished and because sometimes it just wouldn't fit the story.
But when it feels like the person or people writing the story hands me an asshole and says "aren't they a sweetie?" it's going to kill something for me. Worse is when it feels like story wants me to see the assholish traits specifically as positive.
Here's the thing I keep trying to articulate and possibly failing: I don't actually mind characters who are terrible people. I have enjoyed many. What I mind is characters who are terrible people while the narrative keeps trying to say that they are wonderful, often contradicting what the narrative shows us, with no self awareness
