The latest Han and Luke Stormtrooper disguise figures from The Vintage Collection. You can say that this might now be the definite version for each of them: great head sculpts, face print, likeness, articulation, it’s all there. Luke is even shorter than Han. The only issue I have with these figures is, that they are after all not that interesting, because, well, they are Stormtroopers after all, like all the others, only with a head swap. I am not saying that this is bad, it just doesn’t really satisfy me like other figures do. Back in the days, the Luke Stormtrooper figure was one of my favorite figures, because it was the only Kenner Stormtrooper that could turn his head and even remove the helmet. Now these days that’s no longer a novelty and while being the OT collector that I am, these two figures are an absolute necessity to own, it might actually be the very reason why I am not so fond about them: because they only serve the purpose of making a collection complete rather than providing inherent emotional value.
