Desc - You walk through a forest and find Zoro lookalikes

The Strawhats walk through a forest, some looking around excitedly while others are more tame. It's alright, but things get a lot better. While walking around you spot something, marimos. Your eyes widen and you run to Sanji while he speaks to Nami, “Nami-swan just know I’ll protect yo-” snatching him by the arm and dragging him over to the marimos in the middle of his oath. Before he can say anything you turn his head to the moss balls.

“Look!” The both of you stare and Sanji takes a moment to process before grinning mischievously. You’ve unlocked something.

“Hey, Zoro!” The cook calls over the swordsman, who walks over thinking it’s something important from the use of his name. That’s quickly thrown out, though. “Look, we found your siblings.” Sanji says while pointing, Zoro follows the direction before scowling. He should’ve known it was something like this.

“You called me over for this?” He’s irritated. “If this is my family then every stupid swirl is yours!” He yells, butting heads with Sanji once his grin faded to anger. Meanwhile, you get your own idea and start picking the moss balls out of the water and stuffing them into your clothes. Uncomfortable but this’ll be worth it.

“Zoro, Zoro.” You call to him, which takes a few times before he finally turns to you.

“What!?” He spots you with a round stomach, your clothes wet with water. “The hell are you doing.”

“Zoro, I’m pregnant.” He stares at you with an annoyed and shocked expression, he can’t believe you’re doing this. You squat down and start pushing like you’re giving birth. “NnnGNGGH!!” The moss balls plop out of your clothes onto the ground. “And they’re yours.”

Sanji bursts into laughter and Zoro clenches his teeth. “Stop messing around!” You pick the marimos up and look at him with sadness.

“You don’t accept them?”

“As if!” He barks at you and your eyes widen in faux shock.

“...I’m a single parent..” You look away dramatically and Sanji falls to the ground with tears running down his face from laughter.

“You’re both stupid.” As he says that Robin walks over, curious.

“What’s going on?” She asks and you walk to her while holding your moss children.

“I gave birth,” You hold them up. “but he doesn’t accept them.” You look at Zoro with sorrow. He looks at Robin in disbelief at you but she frowns.

“How horrible.” His jaw drops.

“You too!?” The swordsman yells as Robin wraps her arms around you, comforting you in these trying times.

“Huh? What’s happening?” Luffy stretches down from a tree branch.

“Zoro’s abandoning his children after they were just born.” Robin states and Luffy gasps.

“Zoro! That’s not nice!” The captain admonishes Zoro, completely skipping over any actual logic.

“I can’t believe this.” The other Strawhats continue to gather around as you explain your tearful story dramatically until everyone is comforting you, making Zoro seem heartless while he stands there.

‘How did I become the bad guy here?’ He thinks to himself as Usopp and Nami send him dirty looks. You break from their grasp and slowly walk to your children’s father, holding them out to him.

“Zoro.. please… hold them..” You say softly he stares at the moss uncomfortably, then up at you and the others’ encouraging expressions.

“I…” He falters, starting to give into this weird peer pressure as he takes the wet blobs in his arms.

“How’s being a dad?” You put a hand on his shoulder.

“Uh.” They’re squishy but if he thinks about it they’re cute, in a way. “Not bad I guess-” He looks at you to find you’re barely holding in laughter. “Why am I doing this shit!?” He snaps, throwing the moss ball angrily.

“My babies!” You give chase.

“Cruel..” Usopp whispers audibly to Nami, who nods.

“Shut up!”

08- When Luffy’s birthday turns into a group get away to a small cabin by a lake, you cannot deny his own brothers an invitation. Surely the week long get away would leave a lasting impression with his eldest sibling.

Friday: Fireworks

Today was the day.

It was the day you had all gathered for.

And the kitchen was in full swing. Sanji had woken up a bit early to start the preparation for the absolute feast meant for your very own Monkey D Luffy’s birthday. It seems that most of the others are off with their own plans as well- Franky, Ussop, and Zoro heading off for their very own “secret mission” while Nami and Robin do a last minute general store run.

You had spent the morning in attempt to clean up after the rowdy group so the following day of packing up would not be as large of a task. Once finished, a bit sweaty, you move to check in with Sanji. There, you are met with flurry of movement and absolute focus.

“Sanji, this is,” You cast a look around the kitchen in awe and slight concern. It seemed that every counter space was covered with some form of meal prep. The fridge was absolutely stocked with the same- bowls and freezer bags of chopped vegetables, marinating meat, and copious sweet. “Insane. Are you sure you have this handled?”

“Please, darling, i’m a professional.” He waves you off with a sly grin, fingers coated in a flaky breading.

“Well, yeah, but you usually have help. Like a lot of-“

“The only help I need is for you to keep those black holes out of the kitchen. All three of them. Nightmare brothers, they are.” Sanji shakes his head dejectedly.

“Sanji!”

The loud voice squeals from outside. Despite how distant it was, Luffy is standing in the kitchen in mere moments, water dripping from the ends of his hair. “Luffy! You’re getting water everywhere!” The chef barks, but Luffy simply ignores him to peer at the many bowls scattered about.

“Oh! What’s this?” Luffy reaches forth, water running down his forearm and threatening to contaminate the food with lake water. Sanji smacks his hand in effort to stop him. “But I’m hungry.” Luffy withdraws with a pout.

As Ace and Sabo waltz into the kitchen, towels bunched up in their hands but still dripping water, Sanji gives you a pointed look. “This is dinner.”

“But I’m hungry now!” Luffy whines out. “What about lunch!”

Ace’s laugh is a melody to your ears, his grin bright and catching your attention. The water dripping from the ends of his hair and down his collarbone then steals your focus. “He’s not your personal chef, Lu.”

Yet the brothers all take interest in the various bowls. Sanji grumbles under his breath as he attempts to keep an eye out in three different directions for the sake of his prep work. Ace manages to swipe a julienned carrot as Sanji wards off Luffy and Sabo from a batch of frosting, his brows quirking up at you as he comes to lean on the counter at your side.

You hold back a laugh as Sanji picks up the target bowl, waltzing across the kitchen, “I’m gonna start kicking people.” He mutters as he brushes past you. Ace holds up his hands innocently, but chews the carrot stick with a smirk falling on his face.

“Hey, why don’t we go to the diner for lunch?” You prompt in attempt to put Sanji out of his misery.

Luffy instantly lights up, shoving a pie filling covered finger into his mouth. “Great idea, you’re so smart, let’s go eat.” He nods, before glaring at Sanji. “Since he’s a big meanie.”

“Smart, Luffy’s a big baby when he’s hungry.” Sabo smirks, ruffling his brothers hair.

“Hey! It’s my birthday, you can’t be mean to me.” Luffy protests.

“Awh, come of Luffy, let’s go change. I doubt the diner will be as gracious as Sanji is with you dripping lake water all over his food.” Ace offers a kind smile to the man, before waltzing over to collect his youngest brother in a head lock. Luffy squeaks in protest at this as Sabo laughs joyfully, the three trailing off towards the bedroom with Luffy still squeezed into Ace’s bicep.

Sanji hums in acknowledgment, shoulders easing. “Thank you.” He returns back to his place at his cutting board. “I can see why you like him so much.”

Your eyes widen in shock at the comment. “What are you talking about?”

“Ace.” Sanji replies easily. “Seems like he was at least taught manners.”

“I, uh, I don’t-“

“Come on,” Sanji narrows his eyes. “I told you before- It sucks to lose one of my girls, but I guess it’s okay if it’s a guy like him.”

“Sanji-“

“Go get ready. I want those guys out of here so I can actually focus.” He smiles at you in effort to stunt any or your protests.

“Fine.” You huff off upstairs.

After taking a moment to freshen up and collect your thoughts, you meet the brothers out front by Ace’s car. He offers you a bright smile in greeting before moving past his brothers and opening the passenger door. Your brows shoot up but Ace simply tips his head in a silent answer.

Heat floods your body, “How chivalrous.”

Ace opens his mouth to speak, but his brothers are soon at his side. “Ace, are you gonna open the door for me?” Sabo teases.

“No, open mine! It’s my birthday!” Luffy interjects with a bright laugh.

“Get in the car.” Ace snaps at the two, offering you an apologetic smile, then shutting the door. He quickly rounds the car as Sabo and Luffy climb into the back. Ace settles into his seat and a loud conversation instantly sparks in the back seat.

“Let me play music.” Sabo leans between the front seats with his phone in hand.

“No,” Ace laughs, waving the guy off. Instead, his phone is plopped into your lap as a silent request and you feel your heart flutter as Sabo turns his eyes, brow lifted.

The blonde hums in thought.

You clear your throat as the car is thrown into reverse, Sabo nearly falling with the sudden movement before he is settling back into his seat. “You can give me requests,” You turn to look at the two. “But I will veto it if it’s bad.”

“It will be bad.” Ace mutters.

“Really?” You quickly turn to look at him, a teasing smile on your face. “You remember that i’m holding your phone, right? Your music taste is crazy-“

“He hates anything we suggest.” Sabo dramatically rolls his eyes.

“Not true.”

“Is so.” Luffy agrees.

You laugh as the brothers bicker back and forth, making your song selection and queuing up a few more to follow.

Sabo is then tapping you on the arm, “Play something by The Neighborhood.”

“No.” Ace groans.

“And what if i already had one of their songs queued?” You look expectantly at the driver.

Ace frowns, glancing over at you, “Did you?” You simply stare back at him to give nothing away. “I’ll allow it.”

“You’re so predictable.” Sabo scoffs.

The remainder of the ride is full of loud conversations shouted over the music, Ace eventually pulling into the gravel lot. The brothers explode from the car as Luffy complains of how hungry he is as he approaches the building with a large grin. The bell jingles as the door swings shut behind you all.

“You’re back!” The cheery smile you’re greeted with is familiar as Jana, your waitress from last time, meets you all at the door. “Thought blondie was preparing some big feast for you today?”

“Oh he is, but i’m starving right now.” Luffy offers a toothy smile.

“I’m sure you are, honey.” She laughs, collecting four menus and gesturing for you all to follow. The booth she leads you to is significant smaller than the last time but perfectly accommodates your smaller group.

The way everyone falls into the booth is entirely natural, no thought put behind it as Luffy bounces into the seat across from you with Sabo sliding in at his side. It seems like you’re the only one who considers the way Ace moves in beside of you. He sits a bit too close, your shoulder pressed against his and his knee bumping yours as he manspreads into the booth. It’s such a man thing to do. Such an inconvenience. But it’s him.

So you say nothing.

“I want one of everything this time.” Luffy hums in thought, eyes glancing over pictures of food rather than the listed items.

“Just remember, Sanji is putting in the work, so don’t order too-“ Your words trail off as Luffy blinks absently at you. After all, you were talking to the men affectionately deemed black holes due to how much food they could put down. No matter how much the brothers ate now, they would certainly be starving come dinner time. “Nevermind.”

“Oh! They have fancy lemonade drinks, looks like something Sanji would make for you, Nami, and Robin.” Luffy thrusts his menu forwards to show you the picture of the nonalcoholic mixed drinks. “We should all get one, because it’s my birthday.” His reasoning has you all laughing, but easily giving in. You were almost certain that wasn’t going to be his last abuse of the birthday power.

Jana reappears to collect your drink orders, making comments and offering suggestions on the best drinks. She quickly waltzes away to put in the orders and it is not long before she is back with four glasses, the small diner being rather empty at the odd time of day.

“Here we are.“ She hands out the brightly colored drinks respectively. “And why don’t i go ahead and take your orders?” Going around the table, having to flip her page at least once, she collects everyone’s orders and it off to put those in.

Grabbing one of the straws, you watch as a straw wrapper flies past your head to hit Ace. His is then swiftly shot back at Sabo. Luffy makes an attempt to shoot his at you, but it simply falls unceremoniously to the table before you. You quickly twirl the end of the wrapper to shoot Luffy right between the eyes before he could attempt saving his and reshooting.

“No fair! It’s my birthday.” He pouts, rubbing the spot between his eyes as if any damage was dealt.

“You started it.” You stick your tongue out before plunging the straw into the cherry limeade. Taking a sip, the lime flavor immediately attacks your taste buds and has your nose wrinkling.

“Don’t like it?” Ace prompts.

“No, it’s good, the lime is just crazy sour.”

Ace smiles, “Try mine. It’s mango lemonade.” He moves the bright orange drink over to you, tilting his straw in your direction.

You hesitate, “You sure.”

“Yeah?” Ace laughs as if your hesitation was odd. As if sharing food and drinks- something you had never seen him do with his brothers- was entirely normal. Natural.

So you trade him drinks, telling him to try the sour drink. His lips pucker as the red liquid touches his tongue, “Oh man, you’re right. That’s sour.” He shakes his head like a dog, all exaggerated and floppy hair.

His drink, however, was a striking sweetness that you certainly favored over your own. “Oh wow, that’s good.” You mutter and take another small sip, before offering the glass back to him.

Ace takes another slow sip of the limeade, nose crinkling, then decisively placing the glass out of your reach. “We’re switching, yours is better.”

You roll your eyes at the notion, “You’re definitely lying. Give me my drink back.” Your hand hangs in the air as you motion for your glass.

“I’m not lying, now take your drink.” Ace nudges the red glass back over to you.

Sabo watches the interaction closely, a lopsided smile falling on his face as his eyes zero in on his brother. “Thought you didn’t like cherry?” Sabo lifts a brow.

Your eyes narrow at Ace, “We don’t have to switch-“

“I like any food, okay, now drink your drink.” Ace easily waves you off. Sabo opens his mouth again, but any words are subject to a sudden yelp as he jumps in his seat. Ace holds a satisfied smirk at this.

The day has grown dark and Luffy is more than restless in anticipation. He was banished from going outside… what ever projects Ussop, Franky, and Zoro were working on now being shifted onto the sand. He was kicked out of the kitchen… Sanji would go insane if the guy tried to swipe one more piece of meat. And you have now lost count how many times Nami has yelled at him for pacing and complaining in his wait, unable to keep his focus on the card game Robin attempted to initiate.

You were certain the guy would have been throttled by now if not for it being his birthday.

Then, Sanji pops into the living room with an easy air about him, meaning only one thing. Luffy practically leaps out of his seat in his haste to get to the kitchen. The guys are already gathered there, Sanji very well knowing that Luffy wouldn’t have waited for them to trail in from outside.

So everyone settles around the table with mouths watering from the smell of each and every dish meticulously crafted and somehow still hot. Sanji settles in his seat with a proud smile as his friends dig into the food. Compliments are thrown around and the food is absolutely devoured. Hours upon hours of work that didn’t even hold up for a whole hour- but every dish was reduced to crumbs and every piece of meat picked clean from the bone. You were almost certain those would have been consumed too, if possible.

With a few helping hands, plates are cleared away, and Sanji is throwing the fridge open for the final piece. He collects the tray and presents a three tiered cake, covered in white frosting and chopped pieces of fruit. Perfectly crafted. Perfectly detailed. And absolutely gorgeous.

Dipping three candles into the top, Sanji flicks his golden lighter and all eyes fall on Luffy.

Cheerful voices echo the words of happy birthday and Luffy drops his head as feelings overwhelm. To be in a room full of his loved ones, all gathered for him, all planned for him. Monkey D Luffy was the richest guy in the world.

He blows the candles out and Sanji quickly cuts him a pieces before the cakes integrity could be compromised. There would be no face smashing or cake biting while the chef was around. Plates adorning the decadent birthday cake are passed around and the flavors absolutely burst in your mouth. Not too sweet. Fruit not too bitter. Everything a perfect balance.

You almost think you see tears in Luffy’s eyes.

With the food devoured in its entirety and the dishes stacked by the sink, Franky calls everyone but Luffy outside to put the finishing touches. Luffy groans at the prospect of being stuck inside alone for a moment, but he relents.

However, as everyone trails outside, he catches your arm.

“Hey, keep me company for a minute?” He prompts. You signal Nami to let her know and she quickly waves you off. Luffy’s eyes are glossy but he looks full of nothing but joy. “I think I forgot to say it, but I just wanted to thank you for this entire week.” Luffy smiles his bright, toothy smile.

“Don’t mention it, really, it was a group effort-“

“And i’ll thank all of them too.” He rolls his eyes playfully. “But now, I’m thanking you. You really are one of my best friends. I was…” Luffy’s head tilts in thought. “Lonely… as a kid. Before i met Ace and Sabo. So it means a lot that you would do something like this for me of all people.”

“Of course, i’d do anything for you.” You smile back at him. “We all would. None of us would be together without you, and i’m sure that would be a horribly boring life.”

Luffy laughs through his grin, throwing his arms around you and pulling you tight to his chest. “I am fun, aren’t I?” He hums happily.

Lost in the conversation, you’re entirely unaware of the man lingering just outside of the room. Ace feels his heart in his throat as the words ring through his mind. You would do anything for Luffy. For his little brother. Is that something he could mess up?

He doesn’t realize the two of you have moved until you nearly knock into him. Shaking out of his daze, he offers a smile that doesn’t quite reach his eyes. “They’re all ready for you.” He informs Luffy.

You slow to a stop before him as Luffy excitedly runs for the door. “Everything okay?”

Ace nods slowly, “Of course.”

Lips purse, unsure if you believe him, you shake your head and relent. “Right, well, we better head out before we miss the big surprise.” Ace nods silently.

The two of you trail outside just in time to see Luffy excitedly crouched down, a lighter in hand. His laugh echoing in the air is followed by a low whistling. Then, something shoots into the night sky to explode into a flurry of red and orange lights.

A grin falls on your face, “A fireworks show.”

“Oh yeah, and they’re stacked.” Ace chuckles, nodding his head towards the huge display of fireworks. “We, uh, we should take a seat. I don’t think anyone’s getting that lighter from Luffy or Ussop, so we can just, ya know, enjoy the show.” The way he speaks is muttered and clearly something seems to be bothering him.

But you let it go. Just for the night.

Instead you settle beside of Ace on one of the many blankets, watching as the night sky explodes in every color of the rainbow. It seems that the trio didn’t hold back in their selections. Not only were there the common starbursts, but fireworks that erupt into the shape of skulls and food and anything else you could imagine.

As one particularly loud one booms into the night sky, you can feel eyes on you. Your lips press together as you try to focus your eyes ahead but you can practically feel the heat radiating off of the man at your side.

Your head turns and your eyes lock with his.

Completely entranced. Neither of you can tear your eyes aware from each other despite the booming that echoes in the air. The colorful reflections sparkle in Ace’s eyes and draw you in even closer.

A warm hand falls to your cheek as his thumb brushes gently over your skin. His gaze softens before flickering down to your lips. You swallow hard and your lips part in anticipation. He finally meets your gaze again and you’re both leaning in closer, as if being pulled by an invisible string.

Your lips are only inches apart and you can feel his breath on your face. You lean in even closer, about to close the gap…

When he turns his head.

He turns his head.

And suddenly an overwhelming anxiety strikes inside of you. Heat fills your entire being and you’re certain he can feel it against the hand still on your face. “Doll, i’m sorry, I-“

“No,” You immediately cut him off. You jump at the sound of the next firework, unexpected. “It’s, uh, yeah.” Muttering the words that you can’t even seem to form, you’re unable to meet his eye at the embarrassment that squeezes at your throat. Scrambling to your feet, you break away from his side and rush towards the cabin. Tears sting at your eyes and the entire week comes crashing down on you.

I'm starting to feel a little better. I'm still a little sick, but the headache has really died down at least. I probably won't be that active over the weekend, though.

Anyway, I wrote a little something depicting Nubia first meeting Ace, Sabo, and Luffy as children. I'm pretty sure someone requested this, but my inbox is so cluttered that I couldn't find it lol

Fated Meeting

This was all very new. Prior to a few days ago, Nubia thought that her papa was her only family. That was until her grandpa Garp showed up out of nowhere to take her to meet her brothers. The whole thing was more than a little confusing. One second she was playing in one of her safe rooms, and the next, the door was being ripped off its hinges by some old man that she didn’t know. It was a little scary at first, but he seemed nice enough. 

Grandpas are supposed to be good, right? Plus he even promised to take Nubia to see her brothers, so that sounded pretty great to her. She’s always wanted siblings, but papa would get all weird and tell her to drop the subject when she asked for one. It was pretty much the only thing he wouldn’t give her.

Though she did think it was weird that her papa wasn’t there for this, but she supposes that he is busy a lot. Maybe he asked her grandpa to come get her so she wouldn’t be lonely while she’s working?

It turns out that her brothers were actually super far away. She had assumed that they would also be in Alabasta, but that wasn’t the case. They were all the way in the East Blue. The journey there was very exciting. Nubia had never left Alabasta, much less the Grand Line. 

Over the course of the last few days, she has had lots of firsts. She got to ride on a huge ship across the ocean, meet a bunch of marines (one of which being her grandpa himself), run around the islands they stopped at to restock the ship, and she even got to watch as her grandpa beat up some sea kings. This is the most fun she’s ever had and she hasn’t even met her brothers yet.

But now that time is near. Garp’s ship was docked at a place called Dawn Island, and he was now walking up into the mountains with Nubia held in one arm. Her chin was resting on his shoulder as he walked at a brisk pace, jostling her too much to allow her to fall back to sleep. It was way earlier than she’s used to being awake at, so even the excitement of meeting her brothers wasn’t enough to power through her sleepy brain.

Nubia yawned and clung to Garp’s uniform with one hand while rubbing at her eyes with the other. She slumped against him again and quietly mumbled, “Where are we going, grandpa?”

Garp glanced down at her, “We’re going up Mt. Colubo. That’s where your brothers live. Are you excited to meet them?”

“Mhm.” Nubia yawned again, her enthusiasm not quite showing.

A chuckle escaped Garp and he patted her on the back, “You’re going to like it here. This’ll be good for you. It’s not right for a kid to be cooped up inside all the time.”

That got her to perk up a little. She leaned back enough to be able to look at Garp properly. “Am I gonna be able to play outside sometimes?”

The corners of his lips tugged down briefly, then quickly shot back up into a smile again, “You’ll get to play outside every day!”

Nubia felt herself getting more and more excited at the idea of being able to play outside more. Seemingly all the time from the sounds of it. Maybe she could even play in the rain and jump in a puddle!

Now that she was more awake, she started looking around at her surroundings. They were in a dense forest, but there was a defined path that Garp was following. The jungle alone was enough to wow her. She’s never seen anything like this in Alabasta, so she couldn’t wait to explore it. Her brothers would probably be able to show her around.

Finally, a large house came into view. It was quiet, and Nubia couldn’t see anyone in or around it, but that wasn’t surprising given how early it was. Garp strolled right up to it and pushed aside the curtain acting as a door. Lots of people were asleep on mats on the floor, but there were a handful of people sleepily milling around. Their attentions were grabbed by the entrance of a new person, and their faces quickly shifted from surprise to annoyance. Nubia could hear one of them mutter, “Not this shit again.”

A large woman with orange hair looked over her shoulder with a cigarette loosely hanging from her lips, “Garp? You here to see the- What is that?!” Her once lax and tired demeanor was gone in an instant and she marched over to where Garp was standing and stared very pointedly at Nubia.

Garp set Nubia onto the floor and pushed her towards the woman, “Dadan, this is Nubia.” He shakes Nubia’s shoulder a little, “Nubia, say hi.”

Not needing to be told twice, Nubia smiled widely and reached up to grab one of the woman’s hands to shake. She had to go up onto her toes to be able to reach it, but her fingers were just barely able to grasp onto her palm, “Hi, Dadan! It’s nice to meet you!”

Dadan stared at her, then uttered out a quick ‘hi’ before refocusing on Garp, “This better not be what I think it is.” 

“Well, that depends. What do you think this is?”

“That you’re dumping another one of your grandkids on me.”

“... Yeah, it’s what you think it is.”

With that confirmed, Dadan groaned loudly and dragged a hand down her face, “You’ve got to be kidding me! Why does that damn kid of yours keep knockin’ people up if he isn’t going to take care of any of his kids?!”

Garp waved dismissively, “Oh, she isn’t Dragon’s.”

“What? So you’ve got another kid running around that’s also a deadbeat? That isn’t any better!”

Nubia’s eyes flickered back and forth as the two argued, but then she heard footsteps and tired chattering as more people in the house woke up. She turned around to see if she could spot the brothers that Garp had been telling her about. She didn’t know what they looked like, but she guessed they were around her age. Probably older since she never saw them before. She doesn’t think that her papa would be able to hide a baby from her in their home.

She peered around curiously as several adults got up and then promptly exited the home upon seeing the argument taking place. Then, finally, she saw a trio of boys sleepily walking into the kitchen. A smile spread across her face and she frantically tugged on Garp’s pants while pointing at them, “Grandpa! Are those my brothers?!”

He stopped bickering with Dadan long enough to look where she was pointing. All three of the boys tensed up when they noticed him. “Yeah, that’s them. Go introduce yourself.” He gently pushed on her back to encourage her, then quickly called out to the boys, “This is your sister! Be good for once and don’t be bad influences!”

The push from Garp was wholly unnecessary. Nubia eagerly ran towards them and latched onto the first one she could reach. He was a little taller than she was and had an oversized straw hat perched on his head. She tackled him in a hug, charging into him so hard from her excitement that she made him topple over with a yelp. One of the other boys behind him, one with dark hair that was still messy from sleep, caught them both before they could fall to the floor.

She lets go of the boy she was hugging and grabs onto the one that caught them instead. He tenses up, then starts pushing on her shoulders, “Hey! What are you doing?!”

Oh, right. She was so excited that she forgot to introduce herself. She released her hold and stepped back, still with a wide smile plastered onto her face, “My name is Nubia! I’m your sister! It’s nice to meet all of you!” With introductions out of the way, she jumped forward to hug the last of her new brothers, a boy with blonde hair.

The one with the messy dark hair and freckles talks again, this time directed at Garp, “Since when do we have a sister?!”

“Since now. She’s here to stay, so you better all get along.” Garp tossed a small suitcase to Dadan, “Here are some clothes I picked up for her.”

She caught the suitcase with ease and tucked it under her arm. Her expression was one of clear annoyance, but also resignation, “Her parents couldn’t be bothered to at least clothe their own kid before ditching her?”

“She had clothes, but they wouldn’t have been very practical around these parts.” With that, he started walking towards the entrance again, “Well, I have to get going, I’m supposed to be on duty right now. I’m sure you’ve got it from here!”

Dadan follows him to the entrance and holds the curtain open to yell after him, “You and all your damn kids owe me child support for this!”

While she was yelling at Garp, the boy Nubia was hugging let out a sigh of relief, “At least he left quickly this time.” He squirmed in her arms a bit, but didn’t try to push her away like the other one did. He peers down at the girl curiously, “Since when do new siblings just come out of nowhere like this?”

“I don’t know, Sabo… Then again, that is what happened with Luffy, so I guess it isn’t that weird.”

Nubia squeaked in surprise as she was abruptly plucked off of Sabo. Arms wrapped around her middle and she was spun around by the first boy that she hugged. He was giggling happily and aggressively rubbing his face against the top of her head, “I have a sister now, too? And she’s littler than me! Does that mean that I’m a big brother now?!”

The boy with dark hair leaned down and looked at her closely. There were freckles scattered across his nose and cheeks. He poked at one of her cheeks, then spoke up again, “Probably… How old are you?”

“I’m four,” Nubia answered cheerfully, feet lightly kicking back and forth as she was held.

He stood up straight and nodded his head, “Yeah, I guess you aren’t the baby anymore, Luffy.”

“Ace! I wasn’t a baby!” They boy holding Nubia, that she now knew to be Luffy, pouted and held her tighter.

Nubia shared her brother’s indignation, “I’m not a baby, either! I just said I was four!”

“Yeah, that’s pretty much a baby,” Ace smirked and pinched her cheek, laughing at her annoyance.

“Nuh-uh!” Nubia huffed and batted away his hand, then stuck her tongue out at him.

Before they could bicker more, a shadow encased them. All four of them looked up as Dadan stood over them. She ground the cigarette between her teeth as she stared down at them, looking tired and defeated more than anything else. She pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed deeply.

“I guess you’re also my problem now. My hands are full enough as it is, so she’s going to be you three’s responsibility.” She tossed the small suitcase at Sabo, who tried to catch it but ultimately dropped it on the ground with a small thud. Her eyes zeroed in on Nubia, and she crouched down to at least be closer to her level, “I’m gonna give you today to get settled in, but after that you have to pull your own weight. You got that?”

“Yes, Dadan. Thank you!” Nubia offered a bright smile.

Dadan blinked in surprise, then shook her head, “At least you aren’t a complete wild animal like the rest of them. You three better not drag her down with you. Now go get ready for the day. I expect you lot to show her around.”

Nubia perked up, “Around? Like outside?”

“Yeah? There ain’t exactly much to show you in here.” Dadan was visibly puzzled by her excitement.

The little girl squealed and kicked her feet in excitement, “I can’t wait! I never get to go outside!”

Dadan stared at her with wide eyes and knit eyebrows, then quickly averted her gaze and started walking away, quietly muttering to herself, “I guess I know why Garp brought you here…”

As soon as Dadan walked away, Luffy took off towards the entrance, still carrying Nubia. She giggled as she bounced up and down while he ran. He burst through the fabric and into the open air of the woods surrounding the home. The sun had risen more since she had entered the building. Birds were singing and she could even see a few flying around. She couldn’t help but stare in awe at the beautiful sight of warm sunlight filtering through the trees.

“Luffy, wait! You can’t just run off with her like that!” Ace hurried out of the house, only relaxing when he saw that they hadn’t made it far.

“But Lugia’s never been outside before! I had to show her what it looks like!” Luffy stood his ground, arms squeezing around his newfound sister.

The blatant butchering of her name made Nubia squirm in protest and try to correct him, “That’s not my name. It’s Nubia. Nu-bi-a.”

Ace rolled his eyes and lightly smacked the back of Luffy’s head. “She has to have been outside at least once. How else did she get here?”

This did nothing to assuage Luffy, who only stomped his foot and continued to argue, “One time isn’t enough!”

“I didn’t say that it was, just that this can’t actually be her first time outside!”

Nubia was finally able to wiggle out of Luffy’s grasp and fell down to the ground, landing on her feet with only mild wobbling. She took a few tentative steps forward and spun around while staring up at the canopy hanging over them. The sight was completely new to her. Her toes flexed as blades of grass tickled at her feet. She crouched down to rip a handful of it right out of the ground, and examined it with a look of wonder, “I’ve never seen grass before!”

Ace gawked at her with his mouth open, then sheepishly scratched at the back of his head, “You’ve never- Okay, maybe she really hasn’t been outside before.”

“See?!”

The flap at the entrance rustled as another person ran out to join them. Nubia looked up and saw Sabo jogging over to them with a pair of sandals clutched in one of his hands. “Luffy! You ran out here with Nubia before she could get dressed! She doesn’t even have shoes on!”

A quick glance down confirmed that Sabo was correct. She was, in fact, still only wearing a nightgown. Not that she much cared, she was far too euphoric about her surroundings to worry about getting a nightgown dirty. She looked up as Sabo slowed to a stop in front of her and dropped some sandals that he pulled out of her suitcase at her feet.

Nubia stared at them for a second, then stepped back, “I don’t want them. I like how the grass feels on my feet!” With that, she discarded the grass in her hands and wandered over to a patch of wildflowers and started picking them while humming to herself

Sabo snatched up the sandals again and started to follow after her, “C’mon, you need to wear these! You’re gonna step on something sharp and get hurt!”

Ace grabbed his arm before he could get too close, “Forget it. She’s never been outside before, just let her have this.”

“Never been outside? How is that even possible?” Sabo shook his head to dismiss the thought, “Whatever. Regardless of that, she still needs to wear shoes. Dadan said we’re responsible for her, so we can’t let her get hurt on our watch.”

The argument did nothing to move Ace, who only rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, “Quit worrying so much. What is Dadan going to do about it if she gets a little cut or something?”

Luffy quickly sided with Ace, “Yeah! You’re being no fun!” 

Sabo let out an exasperated sigh, “Dadan isn’t the problem. Her telling on us to Garp is.”

A silence quickly fell over them as Ace and Luffy took in what Sabo just said. The only noise in the clearing being the natural sounds of the jungle and Nubia’s humming. She is so caught up in gathering all of the colorful flowers into a bouquet that she doesn’t even notice all three of her brothers encroaching on her until it’s too late. She yelped in surprise as Ace grabbed her from under her arms and lifted her up into the air. Luffy grabbed her legs to keep her still, and Sabo set to work on trying to strap the sandals onto her.

“Nooo! Stop it!” The flowers were flung into the air as she protested, flailing her arms and trying to kick her feet. “I don’t wanna wear them!”

“And we don’t want to get in trouble! Just wear the damn things!” Ace was entirely unsympathetic to her pleas and simply continued to hold her with only moderate effort.

After Sabo managed to get both of the shoes onto her, she was placed back on the ground. Her arms were crossed, and she was very openly pouting over not getting her way. She glared at all three three of them, though it didn’t appear to be phasing a single one of them.

Ace huffs and puts his hands on his hips as he meets her glare with one of his own. “Listen, if you’re going to be with us, you gotta listen to us. Well, listen to me or Sabo. Maybe not Luffy.”

Luffy elbowed him, “Hey! Why can’t she listen to me, too?!”

Rather than answering him, Ace just batted him out of the way. He started walking around Nubia and continued, “Whatever we say goes, got it? You’re the youngest, so you don’t get to- Ack!” His spiel was cut off when two things collided with the back of his head. He stumbled slightly, then whipped around as he heard loud giggling and rapidly retreating footsteps.

Nubia’s sandals lie at his feet as the person that’s supposed to be wearing them starts running in the opposite direction, cackling at her little act of rebellion. His face flushes red with anger and he’s quick to take off after her, “You think you’re funny?! Get back here you little shit!”

“Don’t get too angry! Garp will definitely be pissed if you fight her!” Sabo is hot on his heels, frantically trying to deescalate the situation.

“Yeah!” Luffy was trailing behind them, giving chase but noticeably not trying as hard to close the gap as the other two, “Besides, it was pretty funny!”

Ace and Sabo shouted at him in unison, “Shut up, Luffy!”

Nubia only continued to run and laugh delightedly. Having brothers was fun, and she could already tell that she was really going to like it here.

Misty Sights au

modern-ish au Sabo takes the death of his older brother pretty badly, he stopped himself from properly grieving while caring for Luffy, but now that Luffy is seemingly doing better and is busy with life, it finally hits Sabo

he's not sure if Koala thinks the temporal job offer to take care of a lighthouse on the cold waters of a North Blue coast will help him, maybe she thinks that the isolation will give him the privacy he needs to properly grieve, he's not sure why he accepts the offer, maybe he's still running away from his feelings

but he does he's not sure if he's happy to find out he has a work-mate after arriving at the lighthouses' little island, he was supposed to be the only one there as far as he knew

Yonji, his workmate, apparently, is also there to process the death of his older brothers, whose ship sunk on those same frigid waters in the solitude of the lighthouse

the two men find themselves bonding over their shared feelings and experiences, growing closer and closer although Sabo can't seem to shake off the feeling that there's something wrong

Yonji seems obsessed with guarding and searching for something

but what is really wrong?

Yonji shouldn't have been there in the first place Sabo might not have been paying attention but he walked by the graveyard when he arrived in town, and there he saw a beautiful woman with dyed pink hair visiting, in front of her were 4 gravestones maybe he'll meet her later, and maybe she'll tell her about the tragedy that befell her family when Ichiji and Niji died, the ship they were working in sinking due to a terrible stone, and later her youngest brother died in those same waters after investigating the ship and retrieving clues of something more, worse, having happened on that ship maybe he'll tell her of her (and the only brother she has left) ongoing fight against her father's prohibition of further investigating the wreckage, more than sure that he's hiding something, being the only survivor of said tragedy

Yonji started investigating cuz, despite his brothers deaths being ruled as drowning, he couldn't shake the suspicions that the marks on Niji's body created

(Ichiji's was never retrieved)

They said that the bruises were made as the storm and waves threw Niji around the ship, but Yonji, son of an abusive father and avid fighter, can recognise a bruise born from a fight

The public and the press may believe Judge's tragic tale of failing to save his sons (and the rest of his small crew) but Yonji (and Reiju, and Sanji, and Zeff) know better

Yonji, soon before his mysterious death, managed to retrieve some audio recordings from the ship, they had gone missing on the way to the person who would restore them

but Hancock somehow found them for Reiju after Yonji's death on his next trip to the wreckage

After Sabo learns all of this, he decides to help and get Luffy and co's help too

-and also has a bit of a crisis cuz tf you mean he's in love with a ghost-

now onto the acechiji (lmao)

Ace and Ichiji were together but in a bit of a distance-relationship because of work (and Judge), it wasn't really that early in their relationship but they have been keeping it to themselves (their siblings only know that they're seeing someone)

poor Ace thinks Ichiji is suddenly ghosting him (he is, cuz he dead) before he learns about the incident (and Ichiji's death) and makes contact with Reiju and Yonji and he dies in an "accident" while taking the records to be restored Yonji dies sometime after this

A very random mix but totally good and funny: North Blue Lenguage (or NBL like I started to call this) + Loved!Sanji

Judge thinks his experiments on his childrens go 100% well, when in truth just half works. (They have feelings, all of them)

Sora discovers her plan worked and decides to run away with all her kids. Because fuck it, she may be sick but letting her precious childs with Judge is a big no.

After this, things kind of go like NBL, Mihawk finding them and taking them with him to Kuraigana, Sora and Mihawk falling in love, etc etc etc. Just now it's not one but five kids.

Since just Sanji wants to be a cook, when he starts to work at Baratie, his siblings stay at Kuraigana. They still see each other but usually with their parents.

And for security, Sanji don't mention his siblings too. So no one knows about them until Karai Barai.

(This could have Acesan too, with Mihawk saving Ace and Luffy 'cause, y'know, they're Sanji's boyfriend and captain. So in Kuraigana during some time there is Zoro, Luffy and Ace recovering, all confused about WHY there's two womans and three boys who look a lot like the cook – until they found a family picture with Sanji and the chaos start, for different reasons, of course)

I've also started calling it NBL! It's still tagged as North Blue language though so it stays all falls under that. It gets long under the cut and Buggy is still competent! Also a hilarious image of Mihawk, five children and Sora all on his tiny boat. Chances are he's like 'fuck it, I'm a pirate' and steals a bigger boat.

Mihawk who is staring at these six individuals, almost all of them look identical if it weren't for the colored hair and eyebrows. Four of them have them curled one way, one has them curled the other, and their mom has normal brows. He's basically taking complete strangers to his home and the kids are all so fucking helpful it's weird. To their mom, to him, to each other, and four of them are really protective of Sanji.

Mihawk blinks at the names they have and the girl, Reiju, explains what happened to them, to Sora, who Judge is and what he did to Sanji specifically. Mihawk has fury burning inside him as he listens that he's never heard before but the kids and Sora take to him extremely well and he takes to them just as well and much quicker. Mihawk doesn't know what is going on with him.

Of course when he and Sora get together all the kids celebrate and it's actually very sweet. Sanji cooks better than Mihawk and everyone loves it. The kids all have PTSD, obviously Sanji has it the worst but Reiju isn't far behind. Mihawk and Sora talk constantly about how to best keep them secret to stop Judge from finding them, so when the opportunity to become a warlord comes up he takes it.

Imagine Ace and Sanji start dating and sending letters back and forth when Ace eats at Baratie once before he and the Spadille Pirates head to the Grand Line and he tells his family all about him and what he's like and what he's up to and how sweet they are on each other makes Sora and Reiju coo and 124ji gag and Mihawk rolls his eyes because he gets it. He's the same way with Sora after all. All the siblings want to go give Ace a shovel talk and Mihawk shuts that down. Then a couple years later Sanji sends a letter after Mihawk spared Zoro saying he joined Luffy's crew and he's setting sail and they'll be in the Grand Line soon.

They read the paper, cringe at his poster and freak out about Enies Lobby and then Perona appears. She is once again adopted and then Zoro appears and freaks out about the cook being in front of him when the crew was all sent to different places. He has no idea where anyone is and he needs to get back to Sabaody and Sora is giving Mihawk a look. But then he gets a denden call.

For a summons to serve at Ace's execution.

Mihawk immediately goes to talk to Sora and the kids, minus Perona and Zoro and they talk about him leaving the Warlord system to save Ace if it's a possibility. They all immediately agree. They can handle the backlash, Sanji had a dream and a love, those were more important than their secret. They were stronger now, they could protect themselves.

So he goes and sees Luffy and Ace and the fleet so it's a possibility and he is willing to take it so he aids in the fight. He helps free Ace and aids in fighting the admirals and vice admirals and he even cuts the lava fist that is supposed to kill Ace with a haki laced Yoru. Mihawk is unwilling to let them die and sends them off to take over the fight.

"This isn't your fight!" Ace yells at him and Mihawk stands in between him and Akainu.

"Boy, if you don't run and live for those who care for you I will follow you to Hell and drag you out myself!" Mihawk threatens. "Go!" So they do, Ace and Luffy go but Akainu throws a punch around him that hits Ace and Luffy but isn't going to kill them. Mihawk might actually be pissed enough to behead Akainu, but doesn't. When Shanks shows up and ends the war Mihawk manages to find Bepo and gives him directions to Kuraigana.

Ichiji and Yonji bring them in and Mihawk thanks Law who says the normal 'too interesting to let die' which Mihawk agrees with. He sees off the heart crew and checks on the newcomers and Zoro who has Luffy curled around him and yelling as Niji is yelling at him to lay down.

"Why are there so many Sanji's?" Luffy asks after he's calmed down about Zoro as Ace is blinking at the almost clones of his boyfriend before he has the realization.

"Oh no." Ace whispers in horror at his realization.

"If you thought I would let Sanji's love die, you're wrong." Mihawk says. "I'm not the one you should be scared of about this either."

"Huh, what does that mean?" Zoro asks.

"Our mom is scarier." Niji says.

"Your dad is the world's greatest swordsman and your mom is scarier?" Zoro demands.

"If you get us killed I'm going to haunt your ass for the next four lives." Perona threatens as she peels Luffy off him.

"You all should sleep, and you need to be in your bed." Reiju says to Luffy. Luffy whines that he and his brother almost died and Reiju says that's exactly why because Law said if he reopens his chest wound he will die. So Ace and Zoro try to cajole Luffy into his own bed and he's out fairly quickly.

Sora is bringing them food at some point and Ace asks about what Niji said because there's a reason he hasn't introduced Sanji to the fleet and that reason is the amount of shovel talks Sanji would get and Sora laughs and pats his cheek, tells him not to worry about that. Luffy asks if the rest of the crew is here since Zoro and Sora says no but they'll find the crew and check on them for him while they are off training or such.

I feel like Mihawk takes the two brothers and Zoro to Rayleigh and the Shirohige fleet, one so they can spend more time together, and two so Mihawk doesn't come back to a Zoro filled with bullet holes from his wife. Mihawk is sure she wouldn't kill him but he'd probably almost die again so off he goes with them.

"You have a lot of gall trading sides like that." Rayleigh says, almost teasingly to Mihawk.

"He dates my son and has been for some years. I'd say it was rather tasteless of you and the other members of the former Roger Pirates aside from Shanks and Buggy of all people to not step in and help." Mihawk says smoothly. Rayleigh blinks at him as Zoro grumbles about the clown and Luffy says he's lame.

"Oh, I should probably let B know I'm alive. Chances are he knows and I'm on my way back because of his network." Ace mumbles.

"His what?" Zoro and Rayleigh ask.

"You guys really think he would be that useless?" Ace yells at them.

"Well, yeah, he's lame." Luffy says while picking his nose.

"I've only heard rumors of it, a lot of information brokers use him to gauge rookies from the East Blue as well as the Revolutionary Army for their routes if I'm not mistaken." Mihawk nods.

"Wait, you have a son?" Rayleigh asks and claps Mihawk on the shoulder. "I remember when you challenged Roger and got your ass kicked." He laughs.

"I was eighteen, and I have five children." Mihawk says shrugging Rayleigh's hand off his shoulder. He ignores the balking questions from Rayleigh as Zoro and Ace hug Luffy before they head to the White Beard fleet to drop Ace off with Marco who thanks him.

"Just so you're aware whenever you inevitably meet Sanji I would appreciate it if the entire fleet did not give him a shovel talk. Ace was only told to be afraid of my wife in regards to dying." Mihawk says and Marco laughs.

"Sorry, someone married you? And had kids with you? Fuck, she would be terrifying. I think that's something we can handle." Marco nods as he ruffles Ace's hair.

"Well, I basically adopted them and then married their mother." Mihawk explains.

"They all look the same, except they have different colored hair. Sanji's eyebrows curl differently though." Ace says.

"Okay, buddy, go find something to eat." Marco says as Ace bows to them and leaves. "Okay so tell me about your wife? Does Shanks know? Does the government? How did this happen?" Marco rattles off.

"Goodbye, Marco." Mihawk says as he and Zoro leave.

When the two years are up Ace joins the crew and Sanji and Ace have their own room on the Sunny. Sabo in Dressrosa asks about them after getting punched in the face by Luffy and the stomach by Ace. Luffy excitedly tells Sabo Ace is dating Sanji and Sanji's family is so cool because his dad is Mihawk and all his siblings look just like him almost! Sabo is staring at Ace, not blinking as Luffy rattles all this off. Ace shrugs sheepishly and says they've been dating five years at that point which makes Sabo yell at him and Ace yell back.

when WCI rolls around Ace goes with. He thinks Pudding is fine but he and Sanji have been dating, albeit long distance until recently but the cook also never mentioned his family. Never. So when he sees the fight and Sanji "breaking up" with him he's pissed because he knows Sanji doesn't want to be doing this.

Of course on the way out Judge is yelling at Sanji about the best parts of him being failures and he should have followed suit with his mother and siblings and die. Sanji knows they aren't dead. He knows it but he keeps his fucking mouth shut and holds Ace back as Luffy asks why he started listing all of Sanji's good qualities and if he knows about his family. Judge demands to know what he means by that and Sanji says he'll find out soon enough.

And then a very big poster sized wanted poster comes out on the way to Wano. A family photo of Mihawk, Sora, and the kids and their individual bounties, close up photos(a decent one of Sanji too)comes out of the paper, as well as the rescue team's updated bounties.

When they eventually all go to Karai Bari because Sanji still has a separate bounty from his family the Wano team doesn't know and most of the rescue team have seemingly forgotten. So the amount of screaming is absurd to Crocodile and Mihawk but Ace is hugging Buggy and calling him Uncle B as Buggy keeps asking him if he's eating properly, how is Marco, keeps telling him where Richie is. Then Ace pulls Sanji over and introduces him as his boyfriend. 0124 look at them, then the clown, and then their parents.

"Did you already forget who my parents are?" Sanji deadpans to Ace.

"Wow, they really do all look alike." Chopper says as he looks over the kids.

"I should hope so, the boys are quadruplets. Reiju is only a few years older than them." Sora laughs.

"I'm sorry, what? Quadruplets?" Usopp asks.

"Yeah! Our mom drank poison so that Judge's experiments failed kind of, mostly Sanji failed and then the rest of us are really hard to kill." Yonji says.

"Huh?" Buggy and Ace ask.

"Check this out!" Yonji yells.

"How did it go in Tottoland?" Sora asks as Yonji shoots his hands away, Ichiji fires lasers from his eyes and Niji jokingly shocks Luffy since he's rubber.

"I think Judge got killed by Big Mom." Sanji says. "Awful otherwise."

"Well that's one less thing to worry about." Mihawk says

To elaborate on my Katakuri theory, there's a lot of small details. For instance, despite being able to see the future, a jellybean he flicked knocked out the priest before he could shoot Sanji. When he invaded the Sunny, he literally sat down with his arms and legs crossed and just watched Brook and Chopper take his men out. Despite having a den den mushi and witnessing Luffy talk to his crew through a mirror shard, he at no point informs Perospero or any of his other siblings that the Strawhats are still alive. He doesn't even say anything about it to Brulee, Mascarpone, and Joscarpone who are also there in the mirror world. Basically, it would have been incredibly easy for him to kill the Strawhats and be done with it, yet he chose to do nothing simply to see how things would play out. Any time he took initiative, it was neutralizing an active threat to his family such as flicking jellybeans at would-be assassins and providing mochi earplugs during Big Mom's shriek. And, of course, fighting Luffy. Which as I said before, quickly revealed that he respects Luffy and ended with him lowkey making Luffy promise to bring down Big Mom. In short, Katakuri secretly wants his mom to be defeated.

During his backstory, the idea of going to his mom over what happened is never even brought up. No, despite being the princes and princesses of Totto Land, the Charlotte children were completely on their own. No special status. Free to be bullied, free to be assaulted and mutilated. They only had each other to rely on. In fact, when you look at the timeline, Linlin was sailing with the Rocks Pirates during most of her children's childhoods. I'm not even quite sure how she was doing that and also giving birth to at least one child a year for the last 42 solid years. But that's not important right now. What is important is that Charlotte Linlin is a bad mother who is not only negligent, but outright abusive and even willing to kill her children for getting in her way during a tantrum. Katakuri, a man who loves his siblings so dearly that he became a "perfect" cold and calculating killing machine just to keep them safe, has every reason to resent his mother. Additionally, I would imagine it bothers him how he needs to act so stoic and deathly serious to be taken seriously, yet Big Mom can act like a spoiled child and still be treated with the utmost respect and fear. Remember that's not only his mother, that's also his captain. He and Perospero essentially co-lead the Big Mom Pirates whenever Linlin isn't in her right mind, which is...often. Despite Katakuri explicitly being the strongest member of the crew outside of Big Mom herself, it's easy to think of Perospero as the #2 because he is the one at Big Mom's side carrying out her orders and acting in her interest. Katakuri...is not. If you notice, he barely even interacts with Big Mom except during the wedding ceremony. It's also worth noting he conspicuously stayed behind in Totto Land when the Big Mom Pirates sailed into Wano. All evidence suggests he's not actually that loyal to Big Mom, but he cannot openly defy her. Especially not without his beloved family turning on him.

So what happens when a young upstart pirate captain with a reputation for toppling empires named Monkey D. Luffy declares war on Big Mom and basically comes in her home to spit in her face? He personally goes to see if Luffy can put his money where his mouth is. Over the course of a long, long fight, he comes to realize Luffy might actually have what it takes and accepts defeat. He asks Luffy one more time if he still plans on coming back to defeat Big Mom one day. And when informed that Luffy successfully escaped from Totto Land, he smirks.

As for why he bothered getting in the way during Bege's assassination plot, it stands to reason his observation haki future vision told him his siblings would try to avenge her and throw their own lives away. And they would ask why he didn't do anything to stop it. Maybe he foresaw that it wouldn't even work. But much like Luffy wanting to beat up Hody Jones, it just wasn't the right way to do it.

Ruthless (Zosan X Reader) P7

Plot: Beast off the walking dead series. After the governor attacks your people you head back to help plan an attack back. Luffy's not happy with being left out so ends up following only to end up at the governors town.

Day 5

Nothing changed that day, their routine was normal and people came and went, Brook stopped by and told you about a show he was going to do with Beth tomorrow night and that he hoped you could be awake to see it. During the night Chopper came in to check on them all, Rick was the only one awake or at least trying to stay awake, he started spending more time with Carl and his daughter which tired him out. Your brother smiles at the reindeer before a look of shock covers his face, Hershel walks in behind the doctor on two crutches now being able to walk thanks to the antibiotics you brought when you first arrived. "Hershel" Rick laughs getting up and hugging the man waking Zoro and Sanji who where asleep in their normal positions. Upon seeing Chopper Sanji got up and sat on the metal chair so the doctor could jump up and do his job. Rick pulls away from Hershel and brings over his seat for the now one legged man to sit down on "I can't believe your up" Rick sighs helping the old man sit down, his white beard and hair have grown longer with all the time spent in bed. "I thought its about time i get my ass up and do some work" The old man laughed before turning his attention to Sanji and Zoro "I'll be helping Chopper look after Y/n, Take some weight off his shoulder" Chopper checks over your bandages before turning to Hershel "I'm glad for the help but i can take care of things" The doctor smiles turning back to you and checking your pulse "You need rest young man"

The old man sighs leaning back in his chair "And as for you three, i think its time we set up something more comfy, your stubborn" He turns to face Rick who crosses his arms over his chest "So i know you won't get up and leave for a night when you can be here so, we'll set something up, sleeping on the floor or on these chairs aren't good for you all" He was worried they would get overly tired or sore, and then he would have more people to take care off, plus he knew he would get an ear full form you if he let that happen. "Thank you" Sanji speaks up getting the old man's attention who nods at him. Zoro stands from the floor and walks up next to Sanji looking at Chopper "How are they?" He asks wanting to know what his doctor has to say now he's done. Chopper pulls the sheet back over you and takes his gloves off "Their good but if they don't wake up by tomorrow then i'm going to put a feeding tub down" Chopper sighs turning to the group with a small smile "But there is some good news if their breathing stays like this we can take the oxygen mask off" Zoro lets a smile form and squeezes Sanji's shoulder who reaches up and takes the swordsman's hand.

Day 6

You didn't wake up but Chopper and Hershel waited till the afternoon just in case. Rick watched over you and told you all about the baby girl and Carl, he even told you how the new farm was going along. When Zoro took over the two had quite a long chat about things, it seems this situation as bonded them a little, seeming to talk to each other more often and give a nod to each other every time they see each other outside the medical ward. Zoro sat on the bed holding your hand until Chopper and Hershel came in with a bunch of equipment but when Zoro didn't move Hershel placed a hand on the swordsman's shoulder " You should go and grab a drink of tea while we do this" The old man smiles only for Zoro to shake his head "No, i'm not leaving them" The green haired man's eyes never left your form but the old man sat down in the chair close to the bed and placed his hand onto Zoro's, getting him to look up finally "I understand your worried son but it's best if you go. We'll take care of them" He wanted to say more but didn't. Its very simple and easy when someone is unconscious and thats the problem, you expect someone to fight back a little at the uncomfortable feeling of a tub going through your nose and down your treat, but they don't and that can really upset people. "Please, Zoro" Chopper smiles getting the swordsman to sigh and stand up "Fine, how long?" Zoro groans slowly letting go of your hand "20 minutes" Hershel voices before Chopper can.

Once Zoro had left Chopper looks at the old man confused "I'll only take us two" The doctor whispers wondering why the man would lie "I know, but he needs a brake, plus it'll give the others time to set up the room without anyone in the way" Hershel smiles moving to sit on the bed, so he can assist Chopper. With the oxygen mask now off and a tub in your nose taped to your cheek they set up a bag to help feed you, Chopper stays on the bed with you while Maggie and Glen come in to help set up the room. They place a mattress on the floor at the end of the bed and cover it in sheets along with two pillows. The chairs are moved out and replaced with two wooden chairs along with a cushion on each. Zoro came back early to see Maggie and Glen coming out pushing the sheet aside "What's wrong?" His first instinct was that something happened to you but his fear faded when Maggie smiled at him "Nothing wrong, they just set up the room, made it more comfy" Hershel hobbles over with his crutches getting his daughter to turn and help him "Come on dad lets go" She whispers before walking with her dad out of the medical ward. Glen sighs and watches the two walk way "If you need anything just ask" The young man nods patting the swordsman on the shoulder before leaving.

The room was much more comfy now and felt a lot warmer, Zoro still opted to sit on the bed with you but used one of the blankets to keep himself warm until Sanji came in. "Wow, when did this happen?" The cook asks getting the swordsman's attention, Sanji looks around the room before looking down at you seeing you breathe without a mask. The cook can't help but smiles and lean down placing a soft kiss on the side of your parted lips. "Glen and Maggie did this" Zoro smiles a little happy to see the cook look less sad, he stands up and wraps the blanket he had on around the blondes shoulders "At least now we can get a good nights sleep" Zoro laughs pulling Sanji in for a hug who happily hugs back placing his head on the green haired man's shoulder. The mattress on the floor caught his eye, he liked being close to you but would often almost fall off or have a fear of leaning on you and hurting you in his sleep. Sanji pulls away and places a hand on Zoro's cheek before leaning in and kissing the man "I love you" Zoro lets out after the kiss before going back in for more, Sanji smiles and leans into it "I love you too moss head" The blonde teases only for Zoro to grab the cooks waist and squeeze a little, Sanji laughs and try's to pull away only for Zoro to pull him closer and start tickling the man. Its very rare for him to do this but the cook asked for it, and they both needed a moment of happiness "S-stop, I-Im so-sorry" Sanji calls out being pinned up against the wall as the swordsman stops.

The cook pants catching his breath while still being tense in case Zoro decides to start up again "Behave" The swordsman laughs placing his lips on Sanji's before walking over to you and placing a kiss on your cheek "You too" he jokes before moving some hair out of your face. After Zoro left Sanji sat in the new wooden chair holding your hand, he didn't have much to tell you so he opted to start reading the book that Robin brought a few days ago, It was some kind of poetry book she found in woodbury. He stopped reading when Rick comes in earlier than normal followed by Hershel "Hay, the show's going to start soon, thought you might want to come" Rick smiles seeing the room and you looking a lot better "No it's ok. I'll stay" Sanji smiles back looking down at the book in his hands "I'll watch over her son" Hershel hobbles in sitting on the other wooden chair and placing a hand on the cooks shoulder "Your captain dragged your boy away to join and i think it would be good if you go too" Sanji places a book mark in the book before closing it and turning to the old man then to Rick "Carl said i have to go but i just wanted to see them before i go" Your brother smiles placing a hand on your head "They look a lot better and Hershel's a good doctor, they'll be fine" Rick turns to Sanji before opening the sheet as the cook stands and places the book on the side table. "I'll be back later mi amore" He whispers placing a kiss on your cheek before leaving with Rick.

Hershel stayed with you for a few hours, the room silent since he wasn't much of a talker. Zoro and Sanji spent some much-needed time together along with the crew, they got to know your family a lot more too. Michonne had been working a lot with Zoro and training with him, but they didn't talk much outside of that until tonight, maybe it was the alcohol or the fresh vibe that got them talking to each other about the past but either way they got to know each other a lot more and had more respect for each other. Sanji liked talking with Maggie a lot, she was a sweet girl and took an interest in cooking even attending two of his lessons and being very good at it. He wasn't surprised when he found out she was in a relationship with Glen, he could see the way they looked at each other and was happy for them, but he was surprised how much him and Glen got on. The two didn't talk much but that night they did and found they had a lot of the same ideals and opinions. Rick spent time with Carl and his daughter and managed to finally chose a name for her, Carl was the one who suggested it and it just felt right. Sanji managed to get Zoro to dance with him during a slow song and took the moment to feel a sense of calm. It was a good night with lots of food, drinks and light music.

Day 7

After last night not many people wanted to do much, the booze from the sunny and what they took form woodbury plus the massive amount of food and late night made everyone want to crawl back into bed. Rick slept in one of the spare rooms in the medical ward after Michonne had to drag his drunk ass to bed while Sanji and Zoro slept on the mattress in your medical cell. Zoro flat out on his back snoring away while Sanji lay on top of him, the blankets all over the place, Chopper woke them up when he came in to put stuff in the food bag and was unsurprised how the two didn't have a hang over. Rick did have a small hangover but after a good sleep in and some coffee he felt much better and managed to get out of bed and sit in the chair in your medical cell "Party'd to hard i see" Maggie laughs walking in with Glen carrying plates of food "Oh i'm so sorry miss Maggie" Sanji stands from where he was sitting on the mattress, he didn't realize what time it was and missed making breakfast "Its fine don't worry, we can handle it for one day." she smiles making him sit back down and handing him a plate of food.

Glen hands a plate to Rick and then one to Zoro "We all got together and thought it would be good to practice the skills you've been teaching us and give you all the day off" The young man smiles going back to stand next to Maggie who puts down another vase of flowers which just so happen to be your favorite flowers. Zoro cracks a smile and swallows the food in his mouth "Where did you get them from?" The swordsman asks pointing his fork at the flowers, Maggie adjusts them a little before turning to the green haired man and then looking at Rick "well a local group came round to thank us for getting rid of the governor and gave us a bunch of stuff" Rick's eyes widen but Glen's quick to place his hand on the man's shoulder "It's ok, It's the group that lives in the mill" A sigh of relief leaves your brother mouth, that place is mostly full of farmers, and they've never caused a problem. "They gave us seeds and flowers plus some scrap metal we can use" Maggie smiles taking the finished plates off the three "Me, Glen, Michonne and Daryl have everything under control, plus the people we saved from woodbury have been helping clear out new areas thank to Andrea's leadership" The girl smile bring calm to the group "How is Andrea, i haven't seen or heard form her since we got back" Sanji asks earning a sigh form Glen who leans against the wall, he gives Maggie a nod letting her know he'll explain while she goes to do work.

The three watch the young man as he starts to explain "She's physically ok but mentally not so much, living with the governor this whole time has done some damage, and she told me that she feels like a failure for not stopping the governors plan. Apparently he's planned stuff like this in the past, but she managed to stop it or find a way to make it harder than it needed to be, so he'd back down. This time she wasn't in the loop so had no idea. She's doing what she can to make up for it, to make it up to Y/N and you Rick" Glen looks up form the floor to their leader who looks a little angry but mostly sad "Is that why she left?" Rick asks clenching his fists on his lap. "Yea, When everyone got sick she tried to convince the governor to help since he had the best doctors and medical equipment, he told her that if she joined his group and didn't tell them why then he would. She was shocked when i told her that we never got any help after she left, she was told they did send stuff but it didn't do any good" Glen looks over at you remembering how everyone yelled at her for leaving and not giving them a reason why yet you didn't, you hugged her and wished her well despite everyone being mad at you after words. "I remember Andrea saying they were close so i thought she would at least come and see Y/N but..." Sanji sighs looking down at you "I don't know, every time i ask her to come with us she refuses" Glen shrugs before pushing off the wall "I'll see you guys later, give you some piece before your bombarded again" Glen laughs before leaving.

During the afternoon people came and went, Nami and Robin came back to check on things along with Michonne and Daryl but there were a bunch of people that Zoro and Sanji didn't know. As the day was ending Sanji slept sat with his back to the wall on the mattress while Zoro was snoring in his lap, his face on the cooks stomach using it as a pillow. Rick sat on the bed holding your hand, you felt a lot warmer which was a good sign, but he was still worried. Some noise outside caught his attention and woke Zoro and Sanji up their heads turning to see the sheet move, "Carl?" Rick whispers standing up to stop his son form coming in only for Beth to step into view with the baby girl in her arms. "What are you doing here?" Your brother asks looking over the three kids "It's been a week, we want to see Y/N" Carl looks up at his dad pushing the sheriffs hat that Rick used to wear back, so he could see better. "Please" Beth's voice begged the man. Zoro got up and stretched before helping Sanji stand "Come on Rick, let them in" Sanji walks over placing a hand on your brothers shoulder, Rick thinks for a minute before stepping back and pulling up the chairs for the kids to it in.

Beth hands the baby off to Rick before sitting down with Carl "They don't look too bad" Carl smiles taking your hand making his dad laugh at the comment as he holds his baby girl. Zoro and Sanji have spent a lot of time with Carl, the boy wanted to help out so during the afternoon he likes to join Sanji's lessons and stays behind to help clean up, he likes to talk to the cook when he's having a smoke break outside since he's mostly alone then, but he also wants to help outside too. He helped take care of the walks by the fence at night but there have been less and less of them lately, so he's taken to helping Zoro take watch, its more of an excuse to get to know one of the man who's dating his auntie/uncle. He looks up to Zoro a lot since he's strong but also doesn't sugar coat anything not even to a kid. As for the baby the two boys only got a good look at her last night, Sanji thinks she's adorable while Zoro acts like he doesn't care but deep down he does thinks she's a cute baby.

Beth reaches over and places a hand on your head running it through your slightly matted hair, she sighs and takes out a brush from one of her pockets and sits on the bed next to your head starting to brush through your hair gently while humming. "They really do look a lot better than you decided" Carl points out looking at the three, Zoro told him more about your condition than his dad did, but he didn't want to call the swordsman out in front of him so the boy mainly looked at his dad who leans against the wall. "They do look batter but i was hoping you would wait a while longer" Rick scolds a little, but he can understand the need to see you, everyone else has, he just didn't want the kids being scared of all the iv's and bandages. Beth finishes brushing through your hair and places the brush down on the table "You should brush their hair daily so it doesn't get matted again" she looks up at the three with a stern look, for a 16-year old she acts more like a mother than a teen but then again she had grown up very fast in this world. Zoro lets out a laugh getting a glare from the blonde haired girl, he clears his throat and looks away "Sorry" he whispers trying to hold in his laughter. She doesn't scare him, but she reminds him of you and how you look at him when your mad. "Yes miss" Sanji slightly bows getting the girl to smile. "That's enough scolding us, lets go I'll take you guys to bed" Rick steps away from the wall walking over to the kids.

"Can we stay here tonight please?" Carl begs looking at his dad as Beth joins him "No- n-no" Rick stutters watching both kids start to give him their best puppy dog eyes, it's working too well, so he grits his teeth and looks away. Sanji grabs two blankets and walks over to the kids "I see no problem in it" The cook smiles putting a blanket around Carl and the other around Beth, your brother sighs giving in as he watches Carl take his hat off and lay it on the end of the bed "I'll take first watch" The young boy smiles leaning back in his chair while Beth takes your hand and lays her head down on the bed while sitting in the chair. "Take the mattress" Zoro walks over to Rick patting his shoulder, with the baby in his arms Rick sits down on the mattress and makes a little blanket circle around his baby, so she can't roll off the mattress before he lays down next to her and covers himself over. Sanji turns off the big light in the room only a lantern in on the side table lighting the small room before sitting down on the floor with Zoro. The two share a kiss before they snuggle up to each others side, Sanji lays his head on the swordsman's shoulder as Zoro pulls a blanket over their laps and places a kiss on the cooks head "Night" They whisper to each other before letting sleep over take them.

Sanji has helped me in so many ways. I will forever be grateful for the creation of this character. He quite literally means the world to me right now.

I've always struggled with food. Well, not always. But at the end of middle school (more or less. Give or take. Age 12/13) I became obsessed with what I ate. I still don't know exactly how it started, but I think it has always been a mix of my need to control my life when it's crumbling down and the necessity to look skinny (both things are my mother's fault, mostly. And also lots of things going on at the moment). So I started skipping meals constantly and throwing away food and throwing up. Not gonna get into details, but it ruined my life without anybody knowing until a huge depressive episode came and then I tried to off myself, yadda yadda yadda. Then I just stopped eating food and my meals every day were basically a monster and gum and maybe a piece of fruit. I couldn't even drink milk without crying. Then it got a bit better. Then a bit worse. It wasn't very consistent. And then I started doing exercise but that only made me even more obsessed with calorie intake and healthy food and I still can't drink milk or bread without at least feeling awful about it.

And then I watched One Piece.

I know it sounds extremely silly and dumb, but it has helped me in so many ways. I'm not gonna get into all the things it has done for me, because then I'd have to talk about Robin, Nami, Luffy, Pudding and Buggy which are, like, the characters that have helped me the most next to Sanji, and I would not finish this post.

But Sanji is just so, so important to me.

He speaks about food with such passion. His whole thing about not wasting food literally comes from an experience of starvation and because of the sacrifice his father made for him. He keeps saying he refuses to let people go hungry, no matter what. That we all deserve to eat. He relates food to love and cooking is his whole life. It kind of started as a joke when my brother said "nooo, now you can't waste food because Sanji would be sad" and I- That day I literally ate wayyy more than usual with that thought in mind. And I didn't feel bad afterward for once. And he's just- He just makes me feel so comfortable around food. Which is the normal amount of comfort somebody should have and sometimes it's not even that, but it helps. It helps so much.

Then his whole thing with Germa and the Vinsmokes. It killed me. My relationship with my mother is, uh, you can call it complicated but I fucking hate her so. Yeah. And Sanji's story about rejecting his blood relatives and finding better people who will love him hit so close to home. Him being different. Weak. More emotional. A good person. Sanji refusing to use the name Vinsmoke. It's my whole life. Sanji self-sabotaging himself all the time and constantly sacrificing himself, too? I just can't do it, man, he means the world to me. And then Wano happens and he turns out to have the same body as his siblings but he's still himself. He's still Sanji no matter how much in common he has with the Vinsmokes. And as somebody who's constantly dealing with people telling them that they look like their mom? I fucking love it. I know I look like her and I even act like her sometimes but that doesn't mean I am her. And it doesn't mean she deserves to be part of my family, because she isn't and I can't wait to get rid of her in my life.

It's not only food and family, though. Sanji has helped me accept myself in so many ways too. In the way I perceive others and in the way I act. He has helped me eat. He has helped me realize you don't have to consider your blood relatives family if you don't love them. He has helped me see that my kindness is a strength and not a weak spot.

Not to mention that his whole thing with gender and sexuality, how the fandom portrays him, and how I personally write him has been of so much help in understanding myself. I recently discovered I was a lesbian, and also being genderfluid I just- I just love Sanji so much I be projecting my gender issues and internalized stuff with comphet on him. And let me tell you, it helps.

1. What is your OC's relationship to their family - biological or found?

so with Kenji's biological family, it's very much his entire reason for staying alive -- of course solving mysteries and learning new stuff is cool too, but he's on the seas because he wants to find his family: his pa, his older brother, and his sister. he's alive now because Pa shoved him into the underground passageways he usually wasn't allowed to step foot in and told him to find his siblings, because his pa and older brother taught him the skills he needed to forge a living, and he still has his kind heart because his sister was there to pull him from going down the path his brother did. the irony though, is that Kenji doesn't remember any of their names, he remembers that he used to call his older brother Bolt and his sister Sissy, but those are just nicknames his younger self gave; he calls his pa well, Pa so he doesn't know his name either. but Kenji knows that when he finally finds them, he'll know that it's his family.

as for the Strawhats, I like to think of Kenji's place in the family as a son on the younger side. he, Usopp, and Franky are often the shared targets of Nami's punches because they get excited and loud whenever one of them makes a breakthrough in their project. He is also definitely a menace in prank wars (pls pray when he and Luffy team up, there will be no escape from Kenji's glitter bombs);. At the same time, Kenji prefers to let other people make the tough calls, he doesn't shy away from giving his opinion on a topic he's invested in. He expects people to at least listen, which the crew usually does and he really appreciates it. all in all, Kenji doesn't hesitate to put his life (and more importantly, his creations) in the hands of his crewmates, and he is certain that Luffy will become the king of the pirates <3

2. Does your OC act differently around different people?

usually, he doesn't. it's Kenji's belief that if people don't like him when he's true to himself, then they're not an ally he would want anyway. the only exception is when he meets his brother during the two-year timeskip

7. What type of friend are they?

the kind that'll roast your outfit to the high heavens if he doesn't think it goes well with you (and help you pick out a new one), the kind that's always ready to join you on your latest dumb adventure (and records it with a den den mushi for later) with, and the kind that hypes himself up out loud and realizes you're also there, so he hypes you up, too

8. How loyal are they?

loyal enough, I think -- not Zoro-level devotion, but Kenji doesn't hesitate to call someone out if that person is doing something to harm his loved ones; he might not outright order them to stop, but that's just his way of asking people to do stuff. it's this odd sense of commitment that's gonna tear him apart later in the story 😈

9. How far would they be willing to travel for a loved one? What would it take to convince them?

I mean... the entire reason why Luffy found Kenji at Axe-Hand Morgan's is because he's trying to steal the map so that he could negotiate for a ship to take him to the Grand Line. there is literally nothing that could stop Kenji from scouring the world to find his family, the same would be true if any of the Strawhats needed him to find them, he'd only stop for a moment to grab supplies before dashing out the door tbh

Okay, movie 2!!!

So while the East Blue gang are chilling on a beach, the Going Merry (along with Sanji’s shoes and both Zoro and Usopp’s weapons) gets stolen. The Strawhats are unable to immediately give chase and find themselves in a tight spot.

After a week the only clothes Usopp is able to get them all are wedding clothes along with a tiny boat. The group set out only to encounter two brothers Akisu and Borodo. They tell the Strawhats that the Trump Siblings have their stuff, only for two said sibilings to show up. Honey Queen and Boo Jack. The two decide to take Bride Nami as a prize for their older brother Bear King.

With Borodo’s help the group arrives at Clockwork Island. Borodo is a thief who aims to steal the Diamond Clock at Clockwork Island. Zoro is particularly suspicious though. Borodo knows far too much about the inner workings of Clockwork Island, as well as knowing the exact location of the Merry.

Meanwhile Nami is definitely not being a damsel in distress. She plays along with the idea of marrying the Bear King but unintentionally sets his goal of obliterating their crew. She also beats their asses at cards.

The Trump Sibilings start taking out the Strawhats one by one and capturing them. Honey Queen and Boo Jack take Sanji by using Honey Queen as a distraction. Later Skunk One attacks and Usopp ‘sacrifices’ himself for the crew. The last four end up in a trap and Borodo finally comes clean to Zoro and Luffy. He stole the Going Merry because he wanted the Strawhats to defeat the Trump Pirates to free Clockwork Island. Akisu is originally from there and the island has been controlled by the Trump Pirates for seven years, forcing the islanders to build a special weapon. Akisu’s parents had sent him away to save him and he was found and raised by Borodo. Borodo abandons Luffy and Zoro to the trap to do a suicide run.

Meanwhile the two get confronted by Pin Joker. He has an obsession with Zoro as Zoro had beaten him and gave him the scar across his face. Zoro has no memory of this, enraging Joker. Joker paralyzes Zoro, who let him to protect Luffy, and carries Zoro away to leave Luffy alone in the trap.

Seeing Sanji, Usopp, and Zoro crucified and awaiting execution becomes too much for Nami and she drops the act. Furious, Bear King tries to execute all four Strawhats but is stopped by Borodo’s arrival. He wants to blow up them all but King shows him that they are on the Island Key. If that is destroyed then the Island will crumble. King then beats up Borodo and Akisu but then Luffy arrives.

After some shenanigans of Luffy accidentally nearly killing his whole crew, everyone is free and the battles don’t last very long. Nami defeats Queen without really trying, as does Sanji with Jack, Zoro with Joker, and Usopp with One. Luffy takes a few minutes longer with King, but Luffy defeats him and destroys the island. Akisu meets his parents but chooses to stay with Borodo.

So the bad first. I guess the absolute ‘sexiness’ of Honey Queen was a surprise. Like the chick literally hangs out in a bath on the figurehead of the flag ship butt naked. There was also the weird part about Luffy of all people asking that the brothers aren’t actually brothers because they aren’t blood. I thought maybe it’s because they didn’t reveal Ace yet, but Ace was even in the ending credits so I guess it was all a bit strange. I also thought it was weird how Zoro didn’t seem too concerned his swords were gone.

Overall though it was a fun watch. I liked the references to Zoro’s time as a bounty hunter and Zoro straight up kills a few people in this movie too. Literally stabbed a guy through the chest! I loved Zoro and Luffy’s relationship all through the movie and it is a movie I’ve seen a few times.

I loved the ending credits too! The snip-it’s of what everyone who we were about to meet through the Alabasta arc where doing in those exact moments! It was nice. Overall it was a good movie.

Loss and Gain [Ace x OC x Sabo!] Prt 2 Dressrosa

Authors note: So since I haven’t caught up in One Piece in a while (I’m in Dressrosa rn lord it’s long >_>) some stuff won’t make sense and all that, I apologize for it and if I see that it doesn’t make since I’ll work it out later on! Anyway enjoy!

Two years passed since Ace died at Marineford. I quit being a pirate all together as well. Marco accepted my decision and told me to be whatever I wanted to be. That I didn’t know who to be. Without Ace being beside me, telling me where to go, how to do things… I can’t make the call. Eventually I ended up just going along whatever the sea felt like was best for me. The One Piece is out there… but I’m sure Luffy was going to find it, and I want him to find it anyway. The thought of Luffy loosing his brother also weighed on my mind as I am in another part of the world away from my own family, my sibling. I can only pray again that Luffy will be okay and to guide me to whatever I need to do. I was lost. Had no goal. The only goal was erased now so… what now?

After a month of useless searching. I landed on an island that was a bit away from Punk Hazard, that’s when I met Law. He was a pirate but recognized my character. How it was broken down and no motivation. He told me we can team up and that a bigger threat is on the loose. I didn’t care at first until he said that lots of innocent people were going to get hurt or dead. Most importantly it had to do with the Marines and the World Government as a whole. Something sparked that day and it took me a while to find Law again, but I agreed to be an ally with him to take care of the threat.

Punk hazard was a mess. It was cold as hell on one end and hot on the other. Law told me the Admirals fought one another and created this island, part I’ve part lava. Just the thought of that scared me. If they can create an island based off that, they could easily destroy the world if they wanted to. Soon Law and I reached a large building and he was explaining to me what to do and who was the target. Then I heard a familiar voice. It was Luffy and his crew my eyes bottled up with tears and I automatically apologized to him for not saving his brother. Luffy said that it wasn’t my fault and that Ace would have wanted us to become stronger and push to our goals. I didn’t tell him that I haven’t had a set point on what my goal was. I was just following Law’s role for the moment.

Days went by and Punk Hazard’s villain, Caeser, was kidnapping children to test some sort of experiment on them. It was awful. “Why would someone do this? To kids?” I asked and Law responded, “People are born to treat others like trash, no one knows the reason.” After that we teamed up with Luffy again, not after their characters had to be fixed, to rescue the children and stop Ceaser. Soon when we did it Law and I went to a room where Ceaser has a bunch of fruits. Law told me that he was making fake Devil fruits and then we got ambushed and he told me to run. I didn’t want to leave him alone so we fought together and eventually Ceaser stood down.

After that battle, we joined with Luffy and the straw hats to go to the next destination that Law told us. Dressrosa. He told us that Ceaser was a pawn to the bigger picture and that the real enemy was Doflamingo. We all agreed to help, but the only problem is when we got there… Law was gone. I went with Luffy and Zoro to search for him… but thanks to the over crowded area I got lost. I started to freak out as I didn’t want to somehow end up with the bad guy.

I walked around a few more blocks before stopping at a shop that sold clothes and food. I looked around and noticed how exposed the women clothes were and decided not to buy it. Soon I grabbed something and went on my way. After a while I started to give up the search and went to a random bunch of tables and sat at one. “Damn… if Ace was here… I would have been out of this situation and would have found Law…” I mumbled and took a bite of my food. There was more people walking about and talking about the colosseum and the fight that was that day. I wanted to see myself and thought that maybe Luffy was there. Okay… that’s a good start! I finished my food and went to get up as I then ran into someone with a huge thud.

My glasses flew across and as I went to look up all I saw was a black and blue blob. “Sorry! I didn’t see you there!” It was a man. “No worries. I’m just in a hurry to find someone.” I went to the ground and started to search. Suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder and then a gloved hand with my glasses were in front of me, “These yours?”

“Yeah! Thank you!” I bowed my head and grabbed them from him and put them on. I sighed as my vision came back and stood to thank him again. The man had blond hair, black eyes, and a top hat with googles. His attire was fancy like and he wore a black coat. “Thank you again. Sorry I ran into you.” I put my hand up with a sheepish smile. “Don’t worry about it. You said you were looking for someone, want me to help?”

“Huh? No, you already found my glasses. I don’t want you to do anymore for a stranger like me.” I said and he smiled largely, “Maybe we won’t be strangers.” I was confused by his words as he then took out his hand to shake, “My name is Sabo, I’m here looking for someone as well!” My hand was hesitant as I went to shake, “Victoria…”

“Great! Now we can help one another. I have to find someone very important. Once we get that done, I’ll help you find your person.”

“Thanks… but I already told you-“

“Let’s get started shall we? I’m in a bit of a hurry myself as my friend wants me to get this done ASAP!” Sabo turned on his heel and started to walk off and I was trying desperately to explain why he shouldn’t help. It reminded me of someone. But I couldn’t put a finger on it.

Later we ended up in the colosseum. I looked around and was confused. “Your person is fighting in the colosseum?” I asked and he hummed, “He’s very important like I said. Once we find him, I’ll have to explain a lot of stuff, but I’m sure he’ll understand.” Seems like a close friend. “So since is where I needed to go as well, maybe we can split up?”

“No no! That’s too risky, plus you’ll only get lost again.” Sabo said and I was about to protest when I stopped and turned to him slowly. How’d he know? Sabo turned to face me and I felt a shiver down my spine. What’s up with him? “You were talking about someone by the name of Ace hours ago, weren’t you?” My heartbeat went insane. Was he the enemy? “Don’t need to be scared. I’m an ally. You see, Ace is my brother.” My eyes widened as I slowly pointed up, “You’re… You’re his brother too?”

“Yes I am. We go way back- what do you mean by ‘too’?” He asked as he tilted his head. I blinked, “Someone else said he was Ace’s brother… his name is Luffy.” Sabo’s smile went wide again, “Yep. He’s also my brother!”

“WHAT?!” My jaw dropped as I put my hands on my head, “That’s insane! Another brother?! And you’re just telling me now?! Why didn’t you tell me before?!” I yelled and Sabo laughed, “Cause you bumped into me remember? Then dropped your glasses. So I couldn’t just drop the bomb right then and there about it.” I put my hands down, “I guess you’re right…” He continued to stare at me, that’s when I noticed a burn mark on his left eye. Maybe a childhood burn? “You see… when you also said you’re name. I remembered the small note you put on Ace’s grave. He must have impacted you a lot Huh?” My chest hurt, “Yeah…” The note I left before I quit was a heart felt one. About how I looked up to Ace and how I wanted to tell him how much I loved him, to only be too late. “Hey.” My head went back to look up at Sabo. “It wasn’t your fault. Don’t blame yourself for his death.” Tears went to my eyes as I wiped them, “I know, but… I should have pressed harder…”

“At least you were there for him…” Sabo muttered and put his hat over his face, “I… suffered from amnesia after a Celestial shot me down as a kid… after that I worked for the Revolutionary Army for years… until I heard of his death and all the memories came back…” My eyes soften, “So. Don’t blame yourself. I blamed myself for not being there for him all those years. Plus I’m pretty sure he wants all of us to push forward for a better future.”

“Yeah… say Luffy said the same thing when we were on Punk Hazard.” I smiled and Sabo smiled back, “He is our brother alright. We always somehow have the same wavelength, the three of us.” Now I know about Luffy’s second brother, more compassion drizzled to them. “Say… Luffy was the person I was actually looking for-“

“No way! Me too! Say, let’s find him together, but don’t tell him that I’m his brother! Let it be a surprise!”

“Why? Did he forget you or something?”

“You’ll see. Let’s go to the dressing room.” Sabo said and led the way. Soon we met up with Luffy who dressed up in a beard and was called Luci. Sabo introduced himself to get the Flame-Flame fruit and soon confessed to being Luffy’s brother. Luffy explained that Sabo died that day when he was shot down. Sabo and Luffy had a reunion with a giant hug. All I can do was laugh a bit as Luffy was now not alone without a brother, he had Sabo. Come to think of it… maybe Sabo is a little like Ace. But I might be reading through the lines…

At first, he thought that he was being friendly

Spending time with you, trying to make the Sunny as welcoming as possible, but then he started to get these warm fuzzy feelings

So he decided that he liked it, and spent even more time with you, but it only made it worse

It got so bad, that at one point he had to leave the room when you entered

When he talked about it to Nami and Robin, they just laughed

Then he got pouty and then demanded they tell him what they were laughing about

“You like them Luffy”

Of course, he likes you, he likes everyone on the crew. Then they had to explain to him that he was feeling romantic feelings

It all made sense, but he also got scared

He saw how love affects people and their careers. He wasn’t sure if he was ready to sacrifice that much for another person

But then Nami and Robin told him he already sacrificed so much for his crew

That’s when he decided he was gonna confess

Zoro

He was against you in the beginning

That’s why it didn't bother him when he wanted to spend more and more time with you. But it started to confuse him when he realized it wasn't to keep an eye on you

So he started to train more, but each time his mind drifted of it drifted off to you

Then he decided to (finally) take more showers, but while washing his hair, he found himself imagining your fingers rubbing his scalp

So he stopped taking showers (again)

Whatever he did, his mind drifted to you. How you would like something, what you would do if you were with him

So he opted to spend more time with you

He keeps trying to confess, but then ends up chickening out

Let’s just say that Sanji was a simp from the start

He may have been suspicious, but when he saw you his heartbeat unlike it had ever done before

It wasn't the usual feeling he got when he just saw a girl, it was something warmer

Of course, that made him want to explore it. Cue the excessive flirting

It honestly got kinda annoying, but once you guys started to talk about things that mattered (not him talking about how lovely you look) was when he started falling

And he fell hard

Sanji had never actually fallen for someone, so he got scared. That meant no more flirting, and him hiding when you entered the room

After you leave he holds his hand to his heart and breathes like he ran a mile

Poor Sanji, you give him butterflies. Too many butterflies

He wants to confess and get over it, but he finds himself getting lightheaded at the thought

It gets so bad, that the crew has to take matters into their own hands

Chopper

He fell for you

Because you accidentally tripped him

She was one of the only people who weren’t super suspicious

Instead, she took the time to get to know you better

When she got to see who you were, she couldn't help but start to fall for you

Make no mistake, Robin is very self-aware. When she started to get an inkling of feelings— she knew

But she likes to play oblivious. She’s good at masking her emotions. Plus, she doesn't want anything to change between you (except for the fact you don't kiss her yet)

She spends even more time with you now. She likes to read and do domestic things with you. She likes to imagine that you two live in a remote cottage

She likes to bring you tea when you read together

She wants to make a move, but she also doesn’t want to ruin what you guys already have

She likes to talk about her feelings with Nami

So every time you walk into the room, you catch Nami doing the wiggling eyebrows and Robin lightly slapping her arm

She just loves the way your brain works (as well as the way your lips look when they pull into a smile)

After enough pestering from Nami, she grabbed some flowers from her garden and decided to finally act on her feelings

Franky

You just started hanging out with him

Probably because he didn't care that you used to be in the navy

You would just watch him make things. And to be polite, he would let you try them out

Of course, this lead to you calling it amazing and boosting his ego

So he started to like when you were around

Then as a pastime, you two would get to know each other

That’s when he started to fall for you. He would start to notice the way your hair fell, and the way it caught the light

You became his muse. And all of a sudden, he's coming up with all of these crazy and brilliant inventions

No one noticed his growing crush on you, since you guys spent most of your time in his workspace, but one dinner the crew found him staring at you during dinner and tripping over himself

Cue the unnecessary teasing. He tries to cover it up as him being a pervert, but everyone knows that he is lying

Since he can’t convince anyone, he tries to convince himself. That means he starts to push you away

But when he starts to feel more empty, he owns up to his feelings and decides to change that

Brook

You would listen to his music

Listen, not just let it play the background

You always had this look of wonder in your eyes as you watched him

After getting to know him (which started by asking him how he learned so many instruments)

He likes the way you laughed and smiled, and… just do anything

He would start blushing when you would come up to him and talk. When he would see you across the room. When he would think about you… all the time

The crew started to notice but brushed it off as him being flattered by you being interested in his music

But when you guys weren’t doing something music-related, the two of you can be seen drinking tea or watching the ocean

He’s pretty self-aware, but he wants to deny it for a little while

But once the crew notices (due to his non-existent eyes following you) they push him to go after it. He’s been lonely for so long, it seems kinda weird for him

He also feels bad for liking you, since he’s dead and old

But he decided that you only live once, but in his instance twice

Jinbei

He was very suspicious of you

He didn't even want you to join. So he decided to keep an eye on you

That backfired

Because he started to notice how good you looked… doing everything. When he started asking you about yourself— boy he started sweating

He can’t get over how cute he thinks you are. Everything from how you look to how you act. The thumping of his heart can be heard by the fishes below

Cue the shifty eyes, twiddling thumbs, and flushed cheeks

He is honestly so cute. But of course, if anyone asks him what’s wrong, he’ll say he’s fine… sure

He tries to woo you by showing you his helmsman skills. If that doesn’t work he’ll tell you stories about Fishman island. If that doesn’t work… he’ll just listen to you and give his sage advice

The crew catches on quickly. He is just too obvious. That means incessant teasing from all of the members (excluding you)

Most of them find it ironic how he was telling Luffy it was a bad idea to let you on board, to think what it would be like to grab your hand with his webbed fingers

He’s self-aware, but he is also scared since he has never felt this way before

But after getting tired of the teasing, he decided he was gonna take you out for a swim… and whatever happens, happens (aka he’s preparing for a stuttering love confession)

Okay uh- the same anon from Warlord!Sanji+Ichiji, but this time for a Good!Niji and Good!Yonji au.

Good!Niji is pretty much the same as Good!Ichiji, he never beat Sanji up and always intent to subtly stop the other two. He runs away with his young brother and is saved not by Mihawk from the rock, but for the Whitebeards. So this turns into a Shirohige!Sanji+Niji thing.

Good!Yonji is similar too, instaed Sanji is his older brother. He is saved alongside his sibling from the rock for Jinbei. So y'know, Fishman!Sanji+Yonji.

(All if them have Acesan, though. And obvisiously they're protective as hell with Sanji)

I love the Good!124ji. I love Sanji having good siblings. Also Shirohige!Niji coming back like in the blue! series.

Niji and Sanji being brought to the Shirohige and Sanji is still the baby because he's a few minutes younger and Niji is modified. I personally headcanon that Niji has poor eyesight hence the goggles so he is given real glasses while Sanji is stuck in sunglasses from the glare of the ocean. They are both the last brats and the last babies aboard and everyone is smitten with having them around. Marco is of course giving them the best care he can White Beard does carry them around a lot. Like an absurd amount truthfully. This does however encourage the others to also do this but it's really fun when they're in Marco's talons and being flown around.

When Ace joins Niji isn't particularly fond of the new guy calling his little brother 'blondie' or how flustered it made Sanji. Despite them both already having hefty bounties for new pirates, Ace is still relatively green and when he comes up as a commander Niji and Sanji join the Second Division and when Teach kills Thatch they're all off on the hunt. Niji understands that Ace and Sanji are dating but refuses to acknowledge it most of the time. Except at Marineford when they all think Sanji died.

When the three of them officially join the Strawhat Pirates and Ace and Sanji are given their own room again Niji full cocks Sanji for the dead thing. After Niji is calmed down about that Sanji is like 'wanna see a new trick' and starts sky walking. Niji immediately tries to shock his little brother. Ace is laughing so hard he's choking and wheezing. When they meet Jinbei for real Ace is like 'this is my husband, Sanji. This is his older brother, Niji. Sanji can set himself on fire without a fruit and Niji has electric powers without a fruit.' and Niji thumps Ace so fucking hard for that.

Good!Yonji who finds his older brother and gets him out without Judge finding them but he can't get the helmet off of Sanji. Sanji keeps telling him not to worry about it because Sanji is his older brother and he's supposed to be protecting Yonji. Then they're found by the fishmen and brought to Fishman Island. Jinbei is of course startled by them but does quickly take to the boys and raises them. They're introduced to the royals and are welcomed to Fishman Island officially.

They both train in Fishman Karate and haki and everything become prodigies in their own right. They are pretty inseperable but Sanji insists he's going to find the All Blue and Yonji is more than happy to stay with Jinbei and help with the relations and politics. Yonji is doesn't know what to do when Jinbei is in prison and then he watches his brother's captain lose his brother without knowing where any of the crew is. When the Strawhats come by a couple years later Yonji rips Sanji to him with his winch hands and the crew is ready to fight despite Sanji trying to calm his younger brother down. Jinbei is trying to calm them down and Sanji is threatening to kick Yonji with fire.

It's a whole thing. The crew is very confused as Sanji is explaining to them that this is his little brother, yes he's taller, that's not something they're going to talk about. When they're done on the island and leaving they're waving and promising to see each other again. THen they find out about Sanji and the promise to help Luffy that Jinbei has they decide fuck it and go. When they arrive to help get them out the Vinsmokes are staring at them because unlike Niji, Yonji does not have a wanted poster and has stayed out of the news. So the other Vinsmokes are confused that he's there with Jinbei and calling him 'dad' with Sanji.

They join the crew and in Wano Sanji jokes that he has two moss patches to take care of now which makes both Zoro and Yonji go for him.
