本日、夕方に不在の時間があるとお伝えしましたが、出かけなくて大丈夫になりましたので18時まで通常通りオープンしております。と朝から書き始めたのですが、結局こんな時間の投稿になってしまいました（汗）また、明日25日が年内最後のオープン日となります。12/26〜1/6まで冬休みをいただきますので、併せてよろしくお願いいたします。

東好美さんから常設の器が色々入荷しています。完売していたplateのMサイズが入荷しましたのでM,Lサイズ共にご覧いただけます。金属のような釉薬に刷毛の表情も豊かで、盛り付ける食材が生えるのも嬉しいプレートです。高台もなくトレーのようなフラットな形なので重ねやすく収納もしやすいので日々の器として気軽にお使いいただきたいです。

前回に入荷の際に人気のあった貫入のRim bowlもたくさん制作いただきました。スープやサラダ、煮��や小丼としても多様に楽しめるサイズです。貫入も今回は少し落ち着いた色合いになっています。

完売していたStone plateのSサイズも入荷して、S・Lサイズが揃いました。石のかけらのようなフォルムに表情豊かな貫入が美しい器です。お菓子にフルーツ、おつまみ、またはアクセサリートレーやブロックキャンドルを乗せたり・・・色々と使い方のアイデアが広がるプレートです。

Stacking cupも白が入荷して３色揃っています。お茶やコーヒー、デザートカップや小鉢にも色々楽しめるサイズ感やステッキングしても嵩張らないのも嬉しいです。数も揃っていますのでお考えだった方にもおすすめです。

Bronze Age Amber Spacer-Plate Necklace, Upton Lovell, Barrow G2e, Wiltshire Museum, Devizes

This necklace was once made of around 1000 amber beads, but now just over 300 survive. The flat 'spacer- plates' were drilled to hold the six strings of beads for the necklace. Detailed examination suggests that the beads may have been from two necklaces. The necklace may have been made in Denmark or on the Baltic coast.

okay okay okay so i haven't been tism about this yet (publicly) but like i really need people to hear about this

for ages scientists have been trying to drill into the mantle with things like the kola super-deep bore hole and just a few days ago... they still haven't.

BUT THEY DID HARVEST ROCK FROM IT AND THIS IS WHERE IT GETS COOL!

Geologists managed to extract a kilometer long core sample of mantle rock through the Atlantis Massif and a "tectonic window" which basically means mantle rock was pushed up into the crust by tectonic shifting and got close enough to the surface seafloor that they were able to use a bore drill to harvest samples

now the reason that this is a major breakthrough for geology (and i would use all caps but i don't want to scare some of my mutuals away from this) is that this KILOMETER long sample could potentially change a lot of the things we know about plate tectonics, magma convection currents, earthquakes (falls under plate tectonics but important enough to get it's own mention), and geology in general.

What they find from analyzing the sample might change what you learn in school and that is any scientists DREAM

東好美さんの入荷のご案内です。前回人気だったstone plateのLサイズやcafe au lait bowlが２カラー入荷しました。貫入が美しいプレートは少しサイズも大きくなり、トレーとしてお使いいただいたりワンプレートとしても盛り付けやす��なりました。丸いお皿が多くなる食卓にリズムが加わりますよ。ボウルは貫入タイプのホワイトとstone blackと名付けられた青みがかったモダンな黒の２種類。カフェオレはもちろんやスープ、サラダ、飯碗としたり自由に楽しみたいシンプルなフォルムです。土に砂が混ぜられていて手触りや表情にのアクセントになっています。数がご覧になれますので、ぜひ店頭にて見比べながら選んでいただけたらと思います。

i woke up shaken by dreams i can no longer remember. more rootless wandering, driven by quiet collapse, i would guess

last night, i watched wings of desire until i started to fall asleep in my chair. maybe that shaped my dreams too

my kids came over for friday pizza and novel dollar bucket nonsense and we talked about soundcloud rappers sans stage names, the quagmires of shift-end chitchat, the structural abuse inherent in managed-service fund-owned rental housing, feline foxholes, uselessly large tents, broken grannies, and breakfast meats. i had a really nice night

the last week has been a mess across air and water and earth complicated by the calculus of longing that leaves me missing a person i knew scarcely a year more than i ever missed the one i knew for decades

this last five years have taught me so much. i wonder what's next
