I wish ppl had media literacy bc skip loafer being viewed and generally fused down to a pure romantic love story bugs me quite a bit. Pet peeve. Yes romance is important in the story but it’s rlly about personal growth and the relationships that stem from it. Does anyone hear me. Shima and mitsuri’s relationship is entirely special for the fact they’re still growing as people but care and respect so much for each other. It’s not grandiose gestures of romance but it’s something so rawly humane in their love for each other. Not even romantic love it’s just. Love. Love between them. Love for their friends. For family. Learning to grow and how it means to “know a person”.

It’s like. I love you means “I love you as a person”. And that spells out so much more to me than romance.

i feel so lucky right now because my favorite band from my late teen years, The Hives, just dropped a single for their new album coming out in august, and this is their first album in 10 years!! and i’m so excited for them to be making music again

AND ON TOP OF THAT, my favorite band from the past several years, Streetlight Manifesto, is (slowly) working on a new album too! what a time to be alive (and to love loud/fast music)

I haven't seen anyone else post about this yet but 3dsqulpts on instagtam made a STL resin printing file that you can purchase here for $24 USD!!!

It is ONLY the file for sale, NOT the figurine itself---but there are many resin printing services on etsy should you (like me) NOT have ready access to a resin printer, and want to print & paint yourself! The artist states there are no current plans for a Griddle figurine but...... maybe if TLT fans show a lot of interest....???

My Winged Lion cosplay is done, so have a cosplay and makeup test! From my sketch to reality, it was a whirlwind two months. This was a super fun build that allowed me to learn several new skills and flex my design muscles. I can’t wait to wear this to a con, get photos of it, and hang out with other Dungeon Meshi cosplayers. 🦁

I got the opportunity to paint up a Kindred of the Abyss model for local legend youtubers Tabletop Time to help promote their backerkit campaign! Surprising no one I jumped at the chance to paint an eerie nautical themed model, and the range and lore behind these guys is fantastic!

This project was a lot of fun in both building up a little base, using bits and bobs I found around Squint's collection and I challenged myself to approach painting it in a different way than I usually do.

This guy was a delight to paint up and the backetkit is offering even more excellent models!
