Guys. GUYS. listen to me- kate carter is a natural brunette. no i’m not just saying that because daisy edgar jones has brown hair naturally, there’s a picture of young kate and her mom that is shown in the scene where she comes back home. I caught it on my second rewatch. I mean ofc you could chalk up her darker roots to it just being a dirty blonde but no, she really is a brunette.

Which brings me to this thought- I wonder what Tyler’s reaction (along with the others ofc) would be when they see Kate with brown hair. Let’s say her blonde dye was growing out enough for her to decide to dye it back. Maybe she does it when she went back to NY for a bit before going back to Oklahoma. Will there be chaos? Definitely. Will Tyler Owens get a heart attack? Duh. Like, imagine the possibilities guys, hellooo

More music-based media and music in general needs to take a page out of Revue Starlight and make their songs at minimum 6 minutes long. Intersperse it with dialogue or intrumental breaks if you want, but I expect it to drag at least 8 minutes in length

Thinking about how in season 2, the Doctor asked Rose "How long are you going to stay with me?" He could have asked her that in so many ways. "How long do you want to travel with me?" "When do you want to go home?" But he chose those words specifically. And Rose could have answered in just as many ways. "As long as I live." "As long as you'll have me." But instead she said one word. "Forever."

And the sad thing is that her answer was truer than any other answer she could have given. Because whether she realized it or not she wasn't saying how long they would be together. She was telling him how long she would be with him. As a memory, as a ghost, in his hearts. No matter who the Doctor is or how old they get, somewhere deep inside their soul, Rose will remain. Forever.

Do you think the reason so many new independently animated shows suck nowadays because they're written by artists & not writers? They all feel like Community bits that every fandom can apply to their favourite characters™ stretched out into 30 minutes rather than a story with consistent & chohesive plot, narrative, themes, structure & direction.

I mean I dunno which independent animated shows you’re referring to here. Most of what I’ve seen is pretty good, but I can still address what you’re probably trying to say here.

Like you might have a point that a lot of them probably aren’t Vince Gilligan level, but yeah there is very much a point that indie animated shows come from a place of love for the characters and animation over a love for a perfectly engineered plot. And there’s nothing wrong with that.

I've been meaning to catch up on season 5 for a loong time now, but I decided to finally do it no because of season 6. I got some spoilers for the s5 finale and I got curious and then they redesigned characters a bit and stuff and I just really wanted to watch that. i dont watch shows on netflix anymore and i havent in a long time but at this point there is no incentive to watch a netflix original because they all seem to get prematurely cancelled. why bother getting invested in something that will be cancelled after 1 season?
