Fuck You, *Genderbends your Alastor*
(Screenshot Edits)
First off, DO NOT REPOST ANY OF THESE. I left out my signature and watermark for the sake of the authenticity of the edits. Basically meaning I want them to look as real as possible. However, I will be forced to add these to future edits if people start reposting them, especially without my permission. (The Hellaverse fandoms are very bad with this) Due to previous bad experiences, I deal with reposting (especially on insta) very harshly. Especially if reposted without credit. I am not afraid to file reports and get uncredited reposts taken down. This is your ONLY warning, and the ONLY time I will say this, so please heed it.
However, you CAN use my Genderbent designs in fanart or your own edits. All I request is credit for the design!
Okay, papa Roo is done yapping. ANYWAY-
I have been having so much fun with these and they're actually really good for learning to draw in the HH style!
Btw I've changed her name from Alastrina to Alice since I got a comment suggesting that Alice would be a better name. Despite that comment's phrasing being a bit on the rude side, I do agree that, yeah, Alice is a better name. So I do genuinely appreciate the critique despite the fact it could've been a bit nicer said. Tbh I just looked up "Female version of Alastor," when I made the edit of Alastor's render and Alastrina was what I got.
I also made a slight edit to Alice's design where I gave her lipstick since I noticed in Viv's OG drawing she probably did have lipstick.
How many people am I gonna make gay/bi/pan/omni/hetero/etc panic over these edits. Like despite these being my own edits, I am one of the people gay panicking-
Disclaimer: These are EDITS. NOT REDRAWS. I did not draw these from 100% scratch, because the point of an edit is to EDIT. Obviously it is going to be traced in some areas (mainly the face and the limbs) because that's what editing is.
Side note: Imo, good screenshot editing actually still requires heavy drawing experience to pull off well. Obviously your tracing in some areas but you're still changing some things, (the entire point) and if you don't know how to draw well, or draw in the show style well, the edit will either look fake or just bad. Edits still require good drawing experience to pull off well, just the same as regular drawing. You just have a templete to go off of. It's basically the same situation as art bases. They might be infamous for often being done poorly, but they can be still be used to make incredible art if the artist is experienced. And this is not to dunk on beginner artists, because I support the practice of edits and bases (as long as proper credit is given and its stated that they used a base or it is an edit) because bases and editing can be used as training wheels for beginner artists, or even profressional artists like me who are learning a new style, (which is what I'm doing rn actually) it's just at some point, if you're someone who does want to improve your art rather then just have fun, you gotta take the training wheels at some point.
Anyway, rant over. I just wanted to talk about my silly thoughts on bases and editing.

YOUR JDRAMA L POST !!!!! jumps up and down i love love love the jdrama it speaks to me so good and your art style for him was so perfect…. do you have a post about your thoughts on the jdrama as a whole or !.!.!.!! also . i was not really a lawlight shipper for the animanga …. but oh man the drama lawlight…… it got me so good
JDRAMA TIME!! (tysm btw !!!!)
ramblings below the cut as usual (also spoilers? go watch the jdrama i double dog dare you)
ok so i watched the jdrama with my sibling after seeing a shitpost about the casting and i lost my MIND. i hadn't really seen any major spoilers beforehand so i basically experienced it all in real time and boy i loved it.
i know it def took some liberties with its story but that's part of why i liked it so much, i eat up aus and different interpretations or whatever so i really didn't mind the minor changes. my only qualm is that watari's bitchass outlives L smh who decided that /lh
above all i love the way they characterized light so much. they let him be stupid!! thank god!! he yelled at ryuk in a lecture hall full of students!! he finger-gunned!! he walked into a door!! he felt much more flawed and even i found myself relating to him at times! they really added to his relationship with soichiro which i loved. their arc had me gripping my heart in agony but that's normal for me when i think of soichiro for too long so like,,
jdrama light quickly became my favourite light because of this. i could think about him forever and i just might!
the only word i can use to describe jdrama L is 'babygirl'. the way they characterised him was so fun and different,, and lord if episode 8 didn't break me. suddenly i'm 12 years old again and grieving this man. and the way light reacted to his death?? the way the scene played out?? it was absolutely gut wrenching. i had to take a walk.
and while we're talking about gut wrenching, can i just say that L & soichiro are such an underrated duo?? i didn't expect to lose my mind over L saying that he thought of soichiro like a father but here i am, still not recovered completely,
and i'll just cut this off by saying that making mello a fucking PUPPET was certainly a choice.
#asks#death note jdrama#l lawliet#light yagami#there was more but i'll save it for next time!!#i love asks#like ppl want to hear from Me?? teehee#death note#death note fanart#im on a mission to watch/read/listen to as much dn media as possible#its the autism#i always add art to these so u guys have something to look at#if you're not in the mood for reading :))

Can I ask you where have you found inspiration for your art? For example I've noticed you have a very specific (and beautiful) way you draw jewelry and clothing. The shapes are very organic yet grounded at the same time, give a bit of a Nausicaä vibes, as well as art noveau meets iron age.
Honestly I could go on and on about the beautiful details of your art but I don't want to seem too fangirlish :D
Ohhh thank you I love those comparisons 🧡 Because I didn't even know those are the vibes I was going for but yeah that's great actually... This is like when one of you made a playlist inspired by my art... (I still have that saved btw! 🧡 And I still cannot believe!!). Here's a little Rhiam drawing with some jewelry she doesn't (yet) have in canon (earrings she does have but she cannot use them yet)
But what are my inspirations hmmmmmmm many! Idk even what all I have inhaled into my art but I try to list something (this got long so rest under cut):
Nature 🌿 I love both mundane (sparrows, plants growing from asphalt cracks, moss covered street signs... the little details) and grand formations that fill me with awe. There's something about things so vast that take my breath away. Like oceans, mountains, high cliffs, endless tundra, wind so strong you could lean against it, ancient stone that has been scraped visible by massive sheets of ice thousands of years ago. (But I'm guilty of not being that impressed by conventional beauty of average gardens. Aren't people tired of only finding planted blooming flowers beautiful!). Most often I'm drawing inspiration from nature familiar to me, that being Nordic/Scandinavian ones.
I already said nature but birds deserve a special mention! Agh I just love those funky little animals 🦅
Stories! I love making stories, I think they help me grasp and go over my thoughts. I love pouring myself into my characters, it makes them feel both personal but also makes it easier to talk about myself to my fellow storytellers. I'd love to do a long graphic novel or write a book one day, but I also love making ttrpg stories just for and with our little group 🧡 For a long time I felt kinda bad that I wasn't doing "real art" that wasn't just illustrations of my characters. But then I realised doing art for arts sake doesn't really inspire me. I don't want to do art that I'd think would be easily consumable nor do I have any great performance to create with my art. I just love to illustrate stories and tell stories through my art and I think that's great! I still love seeing and experiencing artworks that aren't this illustrative, I just don't have the motivation to do that myself. But I can get really excited of works like Emma Jääskeläinen's granite sculptures!
Other artists! There are two categories I think: 1) those whose work I've seen (usually irl) and whose technique or themes or symbolism facinates me. I usually don't want to create similar art, or replicate their style, or medium even. But there's something about them, a feeling of awe or they feel formidable. Or there's something clever about them that lets me have this sense of epiphany. For example, Jääskeläinen who I already mentioned, Marcel Dzama, Merja Palin, Helena Vaari, Marika Mäkelä, to name a few I've seen lately-ish. And then 2) there are artists whose stories and/or style inspires me and influences my art. One of the biggest inspirations to my softer line art style was and is @albabbgg. @serpentface has some really cool worldbuilding and designs, I think they were also a great influence to how I draw bodies these days. @wiltkingart has also very cool shapes and genders in his paintings. @sanctus-ingenium 's stories and art have been a huge inspiration lately. And to list a few others now that I started: @pangur-and-grim/@greer-art, @beidak-art, @elemei, @emilylorange, @pansylair, @cy-lindric, @psrj, @lokorum
And many others I'm probably forgetting now! I also have a side blog @sancta-cessatrix where I occasionally reblog cool art, check tags #art #inspiration
#ask#I hope you all don't mind me tagging you but I wanted to give links! Hi big fan long time listener first time caller!#Rhiam

OMG you are one of if not the best aruanie artist i saw, i cant believe i have only found you now!
They were like the first ship ever for me and they still mean a lot, they are so sweet, especially in your style. The ironic thing is, that at first way back around season 1 i started to see aruanie fan art, and at the time i tought it was a bit odd (i guess i missed all the signs in the show), i liked it but i considered it somewhat of a crack ship, especially since Annie was present just for one short season then it seemed like she never actually gonna come back. And then i lost my mind when suddenly in the manga it was just straight up canon xd. It propably helped that from the begining they were my favourite characters even individually.
They are still the best ship ever, like what do you mean in her whole life she was raised for war, but then couldnt kill the one guy who didnt cared about all this conflict and revenge he just wanted to explore the world, and her decicion cost the warriors the whole mission and eventually changed the world 😭
Btw do you know of some fanfictions that you would recommend?
WaaaAAAAAA- (ಥ◡ಥ) I’m not sure i deserve such a title, but thank you very much for your kind words, I appreciate it a lot ! ♥ ♥ This blog is fairly new, i've been active here since january so it might be why -
Haha I feel you! Aruani made me feel things i never thought i would for fictional characters before. I personally shipped them from the start. I guess I was gifted with the vision and carried the curse of being judged by my AOT-enthusiast friends for years. So I understand why it felt like a crack ship at the time for some. I was pretty sure i was delusional myself- but now… SIKE !!!!!!!!!!!! I am unapologetically taking my revenge with Aruani fanart now XD
But yeah, Annie is basically the one who compromised the whole mission because of her affection for Armin. Ruthless Annie. Flawless Annie... Falling for the sweet sweet boy with cute smiles and curious eyes?? aaa i’m weAk..
As for fanfictions, I am actually new to this kind of media. I never really looked for written fan-content in any other fandoms before…well- now... But i’m happy i’m finally doing it because it opens my artistic viewpoint and this community is very talented ♥ I didn't know writing could make me feel so many emotions and keeping me involved like that. I never experienced it to that extend in the past.
That being said, it means I haven't read a lot of them yet, besides work keeps me busy and my reading is pretty slow…So for the time being i 'll suggest you take a look at this post which regroups a lot of work already (and I think reblogs have some updates too ! )
And if you wanted my personal recommandations, maybe ask me again in 6 months or 24 so I have time to catch up ! haha- sorry dear writers, i failed you for so long ;;
#ask#coming back late to the fandom is like coming late to a party with a gigantic buffet already set#thank you for the food#you all are so great

Is it a crime if I ask you how do you keep your art so simple but so great? Tell me, ehem us, what's your secret?
This is probably a common answer, but it's practicing different art subjects that got me in a level that made me satisfied with my art, and after I became knowledgeable and experienced enough, I began sketching my first concept of an art style that has simple semi-cartoonish look, yet somehow expressive; with the shape language I kind of achieved my goal; however, I'm still not good at drawing bulky/masculine characters, so I need to practice more and be experimental, and this is going to be my 2024 new goals. Thanks Nevichica for your question, I gladly appreciate it.
And btw guys, please for the love of wanting to improve, practice whenever you have free time; practice the stuff that you feel like you are weak in them, e.g.: anatomy, backgrounds, shading, and etc. It's better to start somewhere, because even the little time you had spent practicing, you will definitely notice a change. Btw, just like life, there's definitely going to be ups and downs, your art definitely won't look as decent as you imagined all the time, sometimes it looks shit, sometimes it looks good, but if it looked shit, you should take a short break and not stress yourself because of a few pixels (I cried multiple times because of this, and immediately going back to draw and try to fix it made things much worse, because obviously I can't focus and logically think when I'm frustrated and my cheeks are red like a tomato).

UPDATE TO THIS POST (TW FOR MENTIONS OF HARD DRUGS, SELF HARM AND SUICIDAL THEMES ON THAT POST)
also this post is QUITE LONG so if youre an "i aint readin all that" person (tbh me fr im just a yapper i cant listen for nothin) then maybe its best not to int w this post, cuz discussion will require you to read the entire thing for you to know what im on about.
TW FOR ( DRAWN AND MENTIONED) SH AND SADLY, MENTIONS OF ROMANTICIZATION OF SH, SUICIDE, DRUGS ETC.
ok so the prev post was about how much i realized menhera-chan was kinda like an inspiration to me, both in my art style and in the way i saw my own mental health. but honestly im way more detached from her now.
i've been clean for a good while since yk, its easier for me to distract myself from punching my own face now that i have wifey around. i honestly just dont think menhera-chan seems to encapsulate what menhera can be for me anymore, and knowing what type of person bisuko ezaki is i just don't feel comfortable knowing i used to look up to that work.
even with my recovery i still am going through therapy and potentially finding a diagnosis at the hospital, meaning i probably still have shit to work thru tho i cant predict the future
and with this i just dont relate to menhera-chan anymore, not just bcuz bisuko is a shit person but bcuz im more stereotypically masculine (obv, shes a girl in a sailor uniform what am i thinking), but bcuz even when some of the menhera-chan comic shorts seem genuine in the way they tackle self harm and mental health, but then i remember he made THIS ONE DRAWING (THIS IS NOT A CALLOUT POST. I HONESTLY JUST FEEL LIKE BRINGING THIS UP)
and apparently?? yamiko no seigi fetishizes girls who do SH, and even when im not a girl it all just feels less genuine bcuz of this. how u sexualizing SH yet still have comic shorts abt how you shouldnt upload your self harm scars bcuz ppl who romanticize SH could get to it.
(this comic short is the one im talking about btw)
it just feels less genuine to me bcuz of this, cuz if you really want to care abt mental health, spread awareness and share your struggle, then why make that shirt? thats just me tbh.
i've started liking the idea of making my own menhera mascot thing (menhera angel, who's kinda like menhera X by diy-menhera-blog in the way that they are completely genderless, also menhera angel is an angel ragdoll creature thing?? meaning they are completely raceless too.)
this image is also in a diff art post of mine.
my mental health has just gotten a bit better but cuz of therapy and school, and the stress of going to a gymnasium soon (yeah, SV system) i honestly just don't think im experiencing mental health struggles in a different way than menhera-chan is shown to be, and in a different way than most people who relate to menhera-chan/momoka sakurai do.
i respect those who are attached to her and can point out that ezaki bisuko is still a shit person but idk,, maybe when i can find community in the menhera space i can find others who are also not as attached to wrist-cut warrior manga like me.
just,, man. im really trying to find community w menhera people and in the menhera sphere so i hope i get welcomed with open arms but idk,,, (cuz a lot of menhera stuff crosses over w/ jirai and landmine and i feel like theyll see me as "too stable." n shit or just wont welcome me at all and will chase me out but thats just my anxiety talking.)
TL;DR: im more detached from menhera-chan's character cuz of bisuko himself and changes in my mental health, and i might find comfort in the menhera sphere if i get welcomed.
#ranting#M rated#rant#menhera#menhera boy#honestly i just dont know what to think.#im not as attached to menhera chan's character anymore#but what i found instead of menhera chan. was the menhera community (at least the part that was detached from her)

If you're still doing the character thing
2, 24, and 25 for sonic or amy :D
Hai Maiprim! I still am btw! I decided I won't putting it down very soon. I think this will be a fun task since I like answering ask box. I may be late but I'll always try to not left any questions behind. 😁
Wait, Sonic or Amy? How about both? 😅
2. Favorite canon thing about this character?
- Sonic
The misinformation about hedgehog's fear of swimming. We previously witness accidental mistake made by the technology issues, this one however was purely man power's mistake. Despite the differences, this mistake is also become a unique trait to establish the character's value from the very first game. We don't need to know what his weaknesses are by reading his profile or interviews, we could already experienced it in practice. That is why the aquatic levels are both challenging and "frustrating" to some players (including me 🙃).
Full article. I can't stop laughing when sir Iwata asked about this in the Iwata Asks series lemao.
The other canon continuity I respect about Sonic Team is the core conflict about Nature vs Industry that is still showcased in the current game. Sure, this series--to this day-- is objectively "diverse", with a wide range of media, gameplay, music, graphics, and story. But this premise has not changed throughout three goddamn decades. It is surprisingly amazing to be fair how many times this series went down, they still managed to raise and gain success.
- Amy
I love that they have some background story behind her Piko-Piko Hammer. In Tails Adventure from Game Gear, there's an item called Pikkon Hammer.
Even it's not officially confirmed that's the exact same hammer she uses but it was really clear that's basically the concept of Piko-Piko Hammer before finalized it in the creation of Amy Rose.
24. What other character from another fandom of yours that reminds you of them?
- Sonic
Ah, there's one that I felt really intact to my brain! Him and Mario in my opinion were reminded me of Percy and Jason from the Heroes of Olympus series. My 16 youth self constantly screams: 'This is totally Mario & Sonic holy shit!'. Their bonding was really cool and hilarious, that's also why the third book is my favorite of the series X'D.
- Amy
To be honest, Amy has many fandoms that remind me of her. She's a kinda mix of Sakura from Naruto, Heart from Sugo Chara, and ichigo Momomiya from Tokyo Mew-Mew, Sonoko from Conan... there's more but that's all I can think of honestly.
25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?
- Sonic
Again I talked much the first time I met him here. One of his most fascinating aspects is obviously his design. Before I know Sonic, the antrophormo.... Bleugh how do people nowadays say it? Ah, "Fury" style design that I have usually known about animal humanoid characters for years. Whether a simple cartoon or a heavier one like Beastar or Tom & Jerry. Or mixed up like half animal, half human(like the famous Centaur for example).
Until Sonic came in.
Concept art by Naoto Oshima and Yasashi Yamaguchi
In the first place, I can see he was inspired by Mickey Mouse or 70's cartoons based on his concept art. Yet, his final product is full of originality that almost has no resemblance to Mickey. The modern era also portrays his personality further. He is still imo one of the best designs, ever. His looks already steal the show from the very beginning before getting to know what his perks and traits are. I was interested in his looks without knowing what his abilities were. To be honest, I didn't know the meaning of the word "Sonic", heck I didn't know he was a hedgehog at that time. (I swear when I looked the CD package of Mario and Sonic, I legit staring at his design for hours. Only to analyze what the heck was he supposed to be. Yes, my 12 year old brain was not braining)
Earlier I learned about him, to me he is such a happy and quirky dude with a style. Moving so free like the wind itself without any regrets. That's how I see him the moment he entered the field in the first cutscene of 06.
youtube
(Talk about an entrance! 👀. Que to 02:25 , "Event: Sonic Appears" is one my fav Sonic introduction scene is series. Hear that glorious rearrangge ver of His World beibeh! 😎)
But the one that made me falls into this giant pit hole of this series was when I watch Colors after 06 and this scene happened.
Even though it short as heck, but the way he suddenly turn into serious was caught me off guard. I literally opened my eyes wiiide as egg benedict. Sonic Team sure ain't lying about Sonic in serious mode!
(original article, fan translation)
It's always such a rare moment but when he does, he's ridiculously scary! He looks like a different person! And I'm so glad this rare trait still respectfully presented in other media till today.
(Yeah I know 06 got tons of that but that kissing scene destroyed my youth brain that I forgot most of them afterwards lol)
My opinion of him tbh hasn't changed that much. As much as Sega has made some of the dumbest decisions ever, at the end of the day, I can't hate him. All of his VAs are great to each of their own with no exception (I'm not joking. Even I like my own country's ver of Sonic), His one-liner quotes are motivating and inspiring to me. His games really encapsulate fast action sequences and pioneers with the term "speedrun". His music resonates with me to this day. He truly is just a guy who seeks adventure above everything. And he is one of IP platformers outside Nintendo that's still strong as now. Which is really amazing to observe.
Yes, I get it, He can never beat Mario with all his glory. But hey, like it or not, he's the only contender left to match his style. Even if it takes time, I can hope the path that the Sonic Team chooses now... slowly but surely Sonic will be at least on par with Mario in terms of quality (and popularity in Japan).
(Straight to the point. 😎👌)
Even his very first page of his jp manual book from the first game says this:
Rough translation :
"Sorry for being cheeky.
Fusy people are the worst.
I don't do it for justice, I just do what I like to do.
But nevertheless I won't betray you."
- Amy
I always loved an energetic and optimistic trope girl so it's no surprise that Amy filled the checklists. Her main color code happens to be pink aaaaaaand she has short hair(quills in this case)! XD. She's instantly become my fav in the selection phase from the moment I laid eyes on her. She is probably one of the few characters to actually wield a weapon in the series. A female character using a giant item to fight is never old and she's no exception.
What I like the most about her is that she's essentially the mother of a group. Never give up hope when everything is ruined. As much as she is loyal to Sonic, even she bravely steps in against Sonic for what it's right to her.
In my opinion, her perks of protective over Sonic from strangers somehow led her to actually be the one who reassures and helps them in need. And she always did with most of Sonic rivals: Shadow, Silver, Blaze, Chaotix, you name it.
She's that simple! But why the fuck is she still being misinterpreted by fandom? Allahuakbar uuuuuuurrrggghhh I can't...
To be fair, both of them are the highest debated topics in the fandom. Every account can say their opinions and can stir other opinions in a flick of a switch. It's rapidly quick and miss. They constantly change and twist the debate per second, then magically forget for a week until they argue the very fucking same topic. This cycle tremendously repeats every month, every year! It just never ends!
It had gotten seriously worse since the pandemic and I. had. enough. This is why I never admit myself as a sonic fan specifically on the internet. I think I already explained enough before, so I don't want to add anything else.
I honestly love Amy US and JP voice. But as non both speakers, Sega must have created a middle decision to solve the confusion for Japanese and overseas players, especially in the west. Cuz hands up, their cultures are pretty in contrast with how distinct the scripts and the voice lines are. My only suggestion is the Sonic Team makes two different angles of a cutscene to match both tones. This strategy surprisingly has already been used by RGG, another dev team under Sega, since Like a Dragon 7.
youtube
I don't expect them to do another cgi attempt, nononononono. 06 and Unleashed are enough. But does it mean the Sonic team must do double animated scenes for US and JP scripts? From how the scripts were written in Frontiers, I .... guess so?
I mean, what else is left then? :/
#amy rose#sonic#Menjawab mutual#Holy shit it past two weeks since I received this ask box?!#Pleaaaaaaase forgive me🙏😭#Analysis recehan

I'm so sorry for spamming you with these dumb battle cats. I promise, I'll get back to your regularly sceduled Duncney soon. This sorta crayon style just doesn't work with my human art (in my opinion) so stupid kitties it is!
Anyways, here's a Juniperclaw
(Click read more for a ridiculously long WC rant)
The writing did my man dirty. You're telling me Assfur got into StarClan but this boy had good intentions, died saving Shadowkit to redeem himself for his actions, and then fought alongside cats from all other clans (including Rootspring of SkyClan which is an excellent character moment considering it's what he did to SkyClan that got him sent to Hell in the first place) against Ashfur as a ghost, risking his life for them, and he's sentenced to stay in the Dark Forest anyways. This cat who is clearly better than characters like Clear Sky and Ashfur (not slander btw love both of them, just talking about morals) has to stay in a place where there is no light, no company, no way out, and he's constantly starving. He is slowly fading from existence while he fades from other cat's minds. He is surrounded by magic black water that eradicates his soul from existence and cats who murdered and likely have issues with him considering he fought against Ashfur. There is nothing for him to live for, however awful that sounds. The Dark forest literally runs on negative emotions. It is designed as a torture mechanism in the sense that he just can't be happy there. And don't give me that bullshit that he guards the portal between StarClan and the Dark Forest. He sits in front of a portal all day where he is still on the Dark Forest's side. This isn't a reward. This is StarClan spitting in his face by essentially telling him "We trust you enough to let you guard this portal, thereby entrusting you with the fate of StarClan as a whole, but we do not trust you enough to let you out of Hell." I'm dying. I'm so angry at this decision. I don't understand how the authors could write him to be an objective;y good guy and still doom him to the worst fate in the Warrior Cats universe. Juniperclaw made mistakes, sure. I'm not arguing that he was right to poison SkyClan prey, but Clear Sky has a body count ranging in the double digits. Ashfur tried to kill his exes dad and her three children because he was bitter over a breakup. Mudclaw turned against his clan and tried to kill them because he didn't get a promotion. Rainflower abused and neglected her child after he was seriously injured, forcing him to take an ableist name for his injury. Appledusk cheated on his wife. There are a whole list of cats who have been confirmed to be in paradise while Juniperclaw, who has never killed a cat, is in Hell with no chance of ever getting out. It's so morally disgusting and I honestly don't understand how anybody could think this was okay. They set him up on a redemption arc. He has redeemed himself twice. StarClan has acknowledged him as a good cat, and yet he's still cast out. StarClan admits to having made a mistake with Ashfur, and yet they refuse to accept Juniperclaw.
There are other characters wronged by this, by the way. I draw Juniperclaw so he's who I talked about, but other notable examples include:
-Frecklewish (went to DF for not saving kits from a raging river that even experienced swimmers weren't capable of saving them from. She saw a rescue party show up and left due to the fact that her presence would only serve to distract RiverClan from saving the kits.)
-Brightflower (Went to the DF for accusing Yellowfang of killing her kits. Yes, she was wrong and mean, but we're eternally punishing cats for accusing people of things now???)
-Lilywhisker (Went to DF for injuring her leg and being upset about it. No, I am not making this shit up.)
-Antpelt (Was manipulated by DF cats into training there and later killed in said training. Previous examples showed other trainees being brutally killed for trying to leave, and yet he was expected to?)
-Deerfoot (I don't even know what he did. He was outspoken, but right about most things. I'm just confused about this one. Sorry, buddy.)
-Blizzardwing (Cheated on his wife. Don't have an issue with him being sent to Hell for this, but if he is then Appledusk should be, too.)
-Tangleburr (Was manipulated by her brother and supported him as leader when 50% of the clan did the same)
-Redwillow (Same situation as Antpelt. Was manipulated by the DF and never given a real chance at redemption.)
-Snowtuft (It's never confirmed what he's done, because he's been there so long that he's forgotten. He's shown to be a kind and good natured cat. It's so fucked up to have his memories slowly fade to the point where he has no clue why he's even there. If he did something horrible, surely a punishment makes more sense if he actually knows what he did.)
-Sparrowfeather (Fought against Ashfur and redeemed herself after her death.)
-Maggottail (Despite that horrible name, he fought against Ashfur and redeemed himself after death.)

I think I am gonna make a Media thread to share what I’ve played/watched this year. It looks like a fun thing to do! (Copied from my Twitter thread)
Here’s what I experienced in 2023
Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the first sin:
While souls games tend to be frustrating for me, they are also brilliant experiences, and I had a ton of fun with DS2! The Halbert in this game specifically is my favorite weapon in the entire series as of rn.
Neon White:
I hope everyone finds a game that fits their taste as well as Neon White fits mine. One of my new favorite games with such a satisfying sense of flow and rhythm that I couldn’t put it down till I got a gold medal on every stage.
Puss in Boots: The Last Wish:
I loved the TV show they did so I wasn’t totally surprised but this exceeded my expectations. Gorgeous art style, fluid animation, compelling characters, and the most intimidating animated movie villain in a long time make this a winner in my book!
Bocchi the Rock Season 1:
IT’S SO CUTE AND FUN OMG!!!! A really heartfelt and well realized story with an absolute banger soundtrack. I loved every single character and every single episode so much, it’s truly an amazing show!
Elden Ring:
This game is scary in how good it is. It’s massive, intensely difficult, detailed, and beautifully crafted. It’s so much that I’m inclined to say it’s too much. But too much of a masterpiece is still a masterpiece. I’m carrying this victory with me for a long time.
Transistor:
Holy wow, I haven’t been surprised by a game like this in awhile! It’s an extremely well designed tactical action game with an unconventional narrative structure and absolutely killer visuals and music. I’ll definitely consider returning for another run later on!
Summer Wars:
An absolute rollercoaster of a movie. I really enjoyed the family dynamic and the different ways the story unfolded. It wasn’t what I expected at all and I think it was better for it. The visual design is incredible too! It’s very pleasant to look at. A fun movie!!
Journey:
I’ve rarely seen a game so perfectly titled. It was a true journey. It was an experience that was unique to me and my own playthrough. That’s what I think is truly special about this game. The people you meet and the way you progress while linear is truly your own
John Wick 4:
Absolutely lives up to the quality of this series. John wick continues to impress me with its action choreography and cinematography. This entry specifically has a strong set of side characters, some excellent music compositions, and amazing settings. Loved this one!
Portal 2 (Co-op):
I played the single player years ago but I finally got to finish the co-op campaign and it was a blast!!! Portal is one of if not the most satisfying puzzle games I’ve played. Reminds me how much of a classic this one is. Shoutout to my cousin for joining me!
Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves:
A really enjoyable action comedy movie! It did a good job capturing the dynamic of a dnd party. A super fun time with genuine humor, great performances all around, and the appropriate amount of chaos for a movie in the dnd universe.
The Super Mario Bros Movie:
A solid film! The Music stole the show for me, Peach and Bowser were huge highlights and Luigi and Toad had great performances too! I was disappointed by the Kongs voices but it’s a film with a lot of love for the series in there! Peach is great btw💕
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom :
This game somehow impresses today in the same way botw does. The improvements rocket this game into the stratosphere. While i suffered the same fatigue I did with Elden ring at the end, I also found myself in awe almost the entire time
Spider Man: Across the Spiderverse :
I um, don’t know what to say. Visual feast, extremely compelling plot, character work that hit so so hard, an animated movie the likes of which I’ve never seen. Just incredible
Barbie Movie:
It was so incredibly fun. I had a good few laughs and it had really compelling characters. Very appropriately campy with the depth to back up the camp. A well made film
Cassette Beasts:
What a fantastic game. It recaptured the magic I haven’t felt since playing Pokémon platinum for the first time. It’s battle system is so engaging, story filled with mystery, characters absolutely lovely, and a world that is just the right size for exploring. 💕

I got so excited when I saw you updated Weak Spot that I actually almost puked while in the middle of reading 👍👍. Sorry I cant express how much I adore your work but you make really really really good stuff. Thats 3 reallys cuz I mean it a lot. Legitimately life changing I think I might even use the reader character and donnie as a reference point on how to approach communication better in the future, like, in general, not just in romantic relationships.
I think you're one of the very few long fic writers who my frustratingly impatient and short-attentioned brain was actually willing go wait for on every chapter, I've never read a fic that gripped me by the neck this strongly since I've left the Undertale fandom. Weak spot is just that good and I think I'll crave everything you have to provide as long as you're willing to share them with us readers.
Oh yeah and also as young adult I really look up to you btw, in general because I like the bright yet tempered energy you show through your posts and also I think your work ethic is admirable and the fact that you're very literate in the way you respond to ask as well (kind of expected since you're a seasoned writer after all, of course youre very literate), and also, as someone who's attempting to actually down my fic ideas and day dreams, I've recently been trying to look just a bit closer on your work and how you approach descriptions and dialogue and learn better that way, kind of like how artists do master studies and observe and attempt to replicate experienced artist's techniques, quirks and art style to apply to their own work as well. Currently I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate that use of metaphors you do often to sort of indirectly and almost abstractly describe what someone is going through, like in this week's chapter 56 where Donnie's self exploration is described as a journey with Reader simply accompanying them to a certain point. This is my favorite part in each chapters you write and I know there's a term for this technique but that might distract me from my train of thought so uhm. Make of that as you will I suppose.
I especially love how maturity really shines through your work and I love how slow and almost inconsequential/very normal (yet tremendously intimate) their daily life as a couple and honestly, in a lot of romance books I see I dont think they highlight that part enough and I'm so glad you let the readers breathe between chapters while still being able to build up tension when something bigs about to happen. I'm assuming (though I am pretty sure) that this is probably born from years and years of writing considering this is a type of writing paired with that mature energy I was picking up is something I could rarely find in the fics (or books in general) made by teens and people my age, and thats pretty incredible. I've never seen characters treated so very clearly lovingly before and whenever I compare my current work as of now it feels like playing in a kiddie pool then being met with the experience of looking on into the deep blue waters from the white beach then deciding to run to the sea to see the near-immortal multi-colored corals and all the beautiful thriving life underneath the waves. Its exhilarating really. Theres a depth in your work that makes it feel alive and almost timeless which I'm extremely motivated to achieve basically. Considering you've never let on or at least hinted that you're a professional writer irl or anything like that at all, and the fact that you somewhat implied you write because of passion is incredible because that means (this is all assumption of course) that you've likely been doing this stuff for years for free out of love and (likely) for yourself which is. Actually crazy honestly, as someone whos very prone to giving up even if I'm passionate about my work.
Okay, wait, this is getting too long, whoopsie.
I kinda want to say more but unfortunately I dont have the energy to type everything down since my mushy emotions about the fic are hard to pin down enough to make a coherent description right now. Ah and sorry if this ask gets a bit incoherent at times, english is my 2nd language and I'm also not very good at spelling either 😅.
But yeah.
Thank you for taking the time to make each chapter a wonderful, awe inspiring experience Miss Dork, you're a fantastic writer and I'm hoping I'll be able to see more of your fics/works in the future, even if its not in the Rottmnt fandom.
-K.M
First off KM, you are SO FREAKING SWEET!!! WHAT A TREAT IT WAS TO READ ALL THIS!!! YOU ARE TRULY DARLING AND I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH!!!!
Ah no puke!! Was this chapter nerve wracking?? When I write I get a little removed so I don't really know sometimes what emotions it might illicit...
Life changing? Ahhh! 💞 They always say communication is key to a relationship and sometimes when people harp on something it's absolutely because it's true! A big part of Weak Spot is I wanted to challenge myself that the relationship itself was never a point of contention. These two loved each other right off the bat and them being together was never going to be something contested. Now everything around them happens to be an on and off dumpster fire, but c'est fiction~
Wah!!! I'm truly so honored by everyone who seems to wait on pin and poodles for my writing! I am constantly in awe that you all want to read my silly indulgent story!
You look up to me? I'm going to cry for real. No like, no joke, reading this actually is making me a bit choked up! 😭💞 I'd love to dive into my experience if it might help. I would not shun being called an experienced writer as it's something I've done on and off for almost two decades, but I only began writing seriously (read hyperfixiating) since 2019. Since I have zero chill, I sort of speed ran the writing process, but that's not what I attribute to my media literacy. I don't know if I'd call myself a hypercritical person (some would call me that for sure), but I have always loved to examine the media I consume. I can absolutely turn my brain off and have a good time (I have a long love affair with 'bad movies'), but I also love thinking and love expanding. When it came to reading, I often trend toward fiction books that talk about peoples lives, Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe and Eva Luna by Isabel Allende come to mind, in addition to autobiographies such as Just Kids by Patti Smith. For visual media, my friends often like to joke that no one can pin down my style because I happen to like such a broad range of films. I think all movies are good in different ways, whether they are indie, autobiographical, fictional, magical, poignant, bro comedies, ect and so forth. You mentioned the recent chapter (56) with the field metaphor. I watched Lamb (2021) this past October and was picturing the large estate pictured Iceland when writing it.
I think studying others writing styles is good and I often do it to my peers. I've surely geeked out to both TheKingPen and desceros about their own writing styles and metaphors, the like, as you described of mine! I asked them probing questions on how they work because I was/am endlessly fascinated by their prose! We're all sponges, humans I mean, and I believe that our lives are pinball machines where we bounced wildly off one another. Only we are malleable creatures and with each ping, we take a little bit of that other person with us. Whether that be actual people or media consume, I consider that the same. We're tapestries to be woven as the Greeks said about fate and this fact isn't just romanticized, it's science as indicated by epigenetics!
The technique you're searching for sounds like one under the house of metaphor, maybe extended? 🤔
It's funny you call me mature because as soon as you said "slow and almost inconsequential/very normal (yet tremendously intimate) their daily life" I literally screamed and bounced as if my tail was wagging! Hello, you've tapped something Dork is feral about so prepare for another tangent:
I am OBSESSED with what I call banal dialog!!!
Now this is a point of contention with many of my movie friends, but I will die on this hill any day of the week. For this example, I'm going to take one of my favorites: Reservoir Dogs (1992)! Now do I like Reservoir Dogs? Honestly? Meh. I'll never forget their use of Steeler's Wheel, but that's not what's important here. What's important is the opening scene! We open on a seemingly innocuous and, to many, boring scene with eight gangster at a diner who aren't even talking about the heist. They're talking about other things and interacting with their food and the wait staff at the diner. Some think this scene is useless and doesn't do anything for the film and I will punch every one of those people in the face with my ferocity alone. That scene does EVERYTHING for the film. In fact is does the most heavy lifting out of most scenes in Hollywood. Sure, a monologue can do wonders or a silent following of a character through say their morning routine reveals a lot, but you know what really fucking reveals the most about a person? How they act in public!! The fact that Mr Pink doesn't tip isn't some fucking pseudo speak on tipping in America (though it could be) it's a jumping off point for you to know EVERYTHING about his character in one tiny itty bitty seemingly nothing display! We know he's staunch. We know he's steadfast. We know EVERYTHING we need to know about his personality and BONUS? Because he pushed back against the norm, every other character at the table (if they wanted) got a chance to voice their opionions so we got reads on all their personalities too. We see one many get easily swayed, we see another show his intelligence, we see yet another show the level of sympathy he has. All these things end up dictating how the heist in the movie actually goes and why and it all came from a few paltry minutes at the beginning of the film where they ate breakfast!
UNF JUST TALKING ABOUT IT HAS MY HEART AFLUTTER!
Now the most lethal Reservoir Dogs for this purpose (btw fuck Quentin Tarantino) because it is WITH PURPOSE! You can't just be banal for nothing. You have to be banal for a reason. I've been pretty outspoken about it before, but I also don't believe films/movies/shows/ect should ever have scenes without purpose. Everything that's done should serve the plot! Banal moments SERVE PLOT and I think it's a very underutilized concept.
Honorable mention to Hayao Miyazaki and his art of silence. I mentioned it above in following a character, but Miyazaki (and typically other Japense directors) know when to let scenes 'breathe' so to speak which does what banal dialog does in a literary sense. The breathing gives perspective for both the characters and the audience and I think is very much worth throwing into this conversation.
Also hey, look! You did a metaphor right there with your deep waters comparison. I could see it though I would totally disagree with your kiddie pool reference to yourself. You will never be me and i will never be you. Your work has just a right to exist as any other and who knows, I might have read it if you've put it out! I might recommend it to other people! I'm a big fan of many works, whether they're 'good or not' (whatever that means) that doesn't mean they don't have place! There are fics I've read that story wise or say writing wise are a TOTAL MESS and I love them regardless because maybe their character portrayal was flawless or their idea was just so good I loved that they were creative enough to share it!
Plus and I don't mean this is a braggadocios kinda way, but no one and I mean NO ONE should compare themselves to me. This is written in a derogatory sense: I am not a normal human being. One of my best friends asks me all the time "how are you still alive?" and my answer is "I DON'T KNOW MAN!" I am not someone to look up to or someone to emulate. I am just feral and hungry and no one in the this world, not even me, can get a handle on this leash.
That being said, I am so blown away by how you describe my work! Consider me shifted from choked up to misty eyed! I am not a professional writer by any means, but I'd love to turn my work into books. I just have no idea how to break into the market! I definitely do this all out of love (READ HYPERFIXATION!) and yeah for free (not discounting my pateron folks, I love you endlessly forever, but it ain't a living though it is IMMENSELY appreciated! Ya'll pay for the patreons I sub to and like a fast food meal once a month XD)
No apologies for the length! It was such a blast to get this! Also you did AMAZING! I was never confused once and your thoughts had a clear through line without being confusing in the slightest! Your English is impeccable!
Thank you for taking the time to read and write to me!!! Def got more fics coming (Valentine's fic, a aroace Mikey fic that also happens to be a Donnie x reader, and more weak spot and her sequel!)!
Feel free to hit up my DMs if you want to talk more! Thank you again!!!!

hey,Im not sure if you still do matchup’s but if so I‘d be glad if you could do mine. <3
Im trans (demiboy) and pansexual so Im open to be matched with any gender (btw do you do poly matchup’s too?) . Im 5‘5, a lil curvy, have lots of strechmarks and have a brown mullet and blue eyes. Personality wise I‘d say im an introvert,I enjoy my own company. I am neurodivergent so socializing is draining sometimes and I never know how to act when Im interacting with people, though I would say that Im still a very empathetic and caring person. I currently work in a kindergarden but Im also studying theater makeup. In my free time I like to read, make messy art and listen to music. Some artists I listen to would be amy winehouse, current joys, harry styles, mac miller and cavetown. My favorite horror movie is probably scream (1996 ofc even tho the sixth was pretty good too).
Hey, it's been a while since I did matchups (or used this blog in general), but I spotted this in my inbox and it seemed fun to try my hand at it again, so here I am!
I think my first choice to match you with would be Vincent Sinclair from House of Wax! I think your introverted natures would mesh well together, and your empathy and kindness would make him much more ready to trust you and spend time with you. I also think he'd really appreciate your artistic passion and your theater makeup skills! He might try to convince you to put your makeup skills to work on the wax figures he creates.
As for a second choice, I think you'd be a really fun combination with Tiffany Valentine and Chucky in a poly triad! They're definitely the extroverts to your introvert, and they'd likely have a tendency to drag you out of your shell, but I imagine Tiffany would be incredibly protective of you when you were stressed by social situations. She seems like she would share your love for Amy Winehouse, and Chucky would probably be a nut for your curves. You'd get on well with Glenn/Glenda too since you're experienced with kids, which would definitely endear you to them!
I hope you enjoyed my picks for you, it's been a while since I wrote any matchups lol

I played WoW for about six months and devoured the game and loved it while I was leveling, but I came to despise the endgame content. Unfortunately, after completing my Loremaster achievement I found WoW doesn't have that great of replay value (btw, I played Alliance main but had Horde toons as well). I fell into Heroic raiding through a close friend's guild, which became my own, but ultimately found the focus on metrics and performance to suck all the remaining fun from the game. I also hated M+ and resented having to do them to get the gear I needed to raid. And then all that was left was grinding. When I finally made the choice to quit raiding I felt too guilty about it to be in the game when I knew the rest of my guild was raiding - which was absolutely not their fault, that was all on me.
So I chose to look up this other MMO that I'd heard people complaining about/praising in the general community chats. And once I got my head wrapped around the different combat style... Well, I was hooked.
I love love LOVE FFXIV. It felt like I'd been dying of thirst and suddenly stumbled upon a clear, cool spring. I never knew what other games had been missing until FFXIV gave it to me, and the idea of going back? Never.
The story alone is FFXIV's biggest draw and for good reason - it does things i didn't think were possible with an MMO - nothing else will compare to experiencing that and I cannot praise it enough. But I don't think enough praise is given to other shining aspects of the game; the ability to have all classes on a single character, eliminating the need to make a whole new one if you want to try a different job (but you can still have alts if you want). There's the crafting system which treats crafting with just as much love as any combat class, and the gathering jobs as well (not even starting on fishing, which is it's own little thing). The housing system that lets you have your own little piece of the game to customize. Hell, even the art style is something deserving of praise: it's pleasing to the eye and adds beauty to the world.
I mean, I could go on forever. I genuinely love this game.
obligatory I have polls post
There is actually something I've been curious about, though. So!
If you left World of Warcraft and joined FFXIV instead, or gradually transitioned from WoW to FFXIV being your main game, I have a question: Why, and what faction were you?
(Yes I know you can have alts, everyone favored one faction over the other though and you know it.)
My audience is quite small so please spread this around!

Heyo! I am honestly in awe of your art style it’s so good!! Do you have any advice on compsition/how to make your pieces more dynamic?
Hey Sunsketcher (love this name btw)! I love your art too, you inspired me so much. Honored to get an ask from you!
I will explain my own drawing process when it comes to composition and dynamicness, hopefully the wording is ok and it helps you.
Dynamicness:
1. Think of movement as a dance. A dance telling a story.
(What is the character experiencing? What is the mood of the piece? What kind of emotions are they feeling and what kind of poses convey those emotions?)
(Usually, dances have grace, strength and balance, unless you are purposely creating an effect of disharmony and disjointedness)
2. Line of motion. This is something that goes along with my above point. In animation, the characters are always doing something, and there is a specific line that goes through them, showing it. In the python art, you can see the two main lines (apollo and python's, curving towards each other, with a sub-line of Apollo punching contrasting that curve. The act of punching is disharmony so that's why it is crossed over the curves.
3. Considering anatomy at the beginning of drawing makes drawings stilted unless you truly feel like you can manipulate the anatomy like it's your own. Instead, try to imagine the movement and the "beat" like you experience in animations. Imagine your art as a still frame shot of an animation. Try to use your strokes to capture the essence of the movement and then later fill in the anatomy. In the messy sketch below, I disregarded anatomy and just was trying out as many different lines as possible to see which one expressed the beat and dance I had in my mind.
Another example are these horse sketches I did. The anatomy is completely wonky in some, but the essence of the horse can be represented in a few lines. This works for humans too.
In this art, I wanted to show how Apollo's wings were spreading on the ground, in a sort of grieving elegance. And the dead son in his arms is limp and has little balance or smooth lines, unlike Apollo. I did this to create a sense of disharmony between the always perfect Apollo and the mortality of the son. It helps accent them both. And then the scorch marks draw the eye to the duo.
4. Composition wise: think of the foreground, middle ground, background when creating your artwork. Use the foreground to immerse the viewer into the piece and direct their eye to the subjects. I used the rocks and part of python's body (blurry part on top left) to draw the viewer into the scene. This is similar to anime and movies, so if there are any shots or scenes that you felt were particularly well done, try to look for how they do the foreground, middleground and background and put that into your art.
5. Use color as an additional layer of contrast. Bright colors draw the eye and are able to highlight important subjects (characters, objects etc.)
6. If you start to draw and have no idea how to pose the character, I recommend looking at some dynamic fight scenes in manga, anime and art. I also love these two posts in particular as I find them really good sources of inspiration:
Battle scene composition:

Sword fighting composition:
https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/95842298307452250/
(The author, EtheringtonBrothers, is on tumblr but because they have like 1828248 art tip posts I cannot link it for you as I can’t even find it XD)
Anyways, thank you for reading, feel free to ask more questions if you need clarification.
Extra: Another art where I did a quick analysis to show you my thoughts

You probably get asked this a lot so sorry if this is annoying,, how do you design your characters? I’ve been working on mine since about a year ago, I think he looks pretty decent but I want to make it better and you’re more experienced so I was wondering if you had any advice?
I haven’t really been asked this a lot, and I am not entirely sure how to answer that 😅 I’ll try to tho
I’ve been drawing tfs since about 2019, and my first year was… rough, to say the least, starting out like this:
And looking more like this by the end of the year (two different characters btw):
What I was doing, and what I still do even now, is watch other tf artists. I always tell people that Alex Milne is my biggest inspiration, I spend a lot of time staring at the comics he’s worked on, as well as commissions that he’s done. I definitely like seeing his sketches more than his finished works, too. It kind of gives me a view on his process I can take a bit of inspiration from. Especially since my art style is typically very sketchy.
(Sketch of Megs by Alex)
This is something that’s worked well for me, I think. I recommend you look hard at the artworks of transformers artists, both fan artists and professionals who’ve worked on the comics or done concept art for series/movies.
Another little thing that might help a bit is watching tutorials on industrial style sketching. Stuff like drawing sci-fi machinery, mecha, and even things like furniture.
I recommend this playlist. I’ve found it to be pretty insightful.

Tagging @choicesfandomappreciation for Day 3 of Choices Spread Kindness Event!
(Again...REALLY sorry for the lateness of this post!!)
I'm a huge huge fan of fanart...often art was what used to draw me the quickest to a book or character and make me more eager to play it! It was also a great way - like fanfic but differently - to incorporate things you wouldn't find so easily in canon. Here are some of my favourite artists!!
@sazanes - She is not only an incredible artist - she is also a ball of enthusiasm and great talent!! We first met when she sent me Hayden-focused asks after finding out we were both Hayden stans 😄 Her art is absolutely gorgeous and packed with so much fine detail. I still remember being amazed by her while running my first Hayden Young Appreciation Week - not only did she make an art piece for every day...she also ensured that if the character was customisable, she did an art piece each for each face (she did this both for Hayden and Liam). And given that some of those faces have less representation even though they're among the best faces (esp bl!Haydens and bl!Liam) I truly, truly appreciate her commitment to representing them. My favourite art work of hers is this beautiful poster of all the Haydens in kimonos, this beautiful picture of kid!Sloane and Kim, Liam helping the Heir plant her tree, Hana with a teasing mile and her signature hot chocolate, and of course this recent one of Kiara experiencing intense secondhand embarrassment 😄
@cassiopeiacorvus - There's an incredible style, attitude and verve about her work. She's done a depiction of every MC she's created thus far and I find them amazing coz she draws them with a body diversity that you won't often find in canon. Some of my favourite artworks of hers include a drawing of Xanthe and the ACoR MC in their "sexy red outfits", a reworking of Kiara's Costume Gala outfit (which is, btw, FAR BETTER than anything PB came up with for her), Jax and Lily with the BB MC and Leah and LH MC being a "black power couple" as Cassi put it 🤗
@toyhenoctus - I absolutely love their cute and vibrant comics, with cheeky and vibrant characters. Whether it's the gun-toting Siobhan or Effie who wants to declare her love for Aurora Emery to the world, it's always a treat to read them!!
@ohmyblues - She was a recent find, and I absolutely loved her Hana drawings! The first one I saw of hers featured Hana by the Valtoria lake, during the lantern festival, and the use of colours was so unbelievable and Hana looked so enigmatic in the picture. But I think my absolute favourite so far was the one they made of Hana at the piano. The texturing of the silver dress was so detailed and sublime, and her expression of being lost in the music was blissful to see.
@shazrystyles - Shaz is an absolute treasure! I've always loved her work but got to meet her personally when a friend bought a commission from her for me as a gift. Her artwork is so soft and delicate and so fun and fresh at the same time. My absolute favourites include this compilation of Hayden Young sketches, this supercute sketch of Zig performing ballet, this amazing one of Liam as a fencer and here is Hana and her MC on their wedding day 🥹
@burnwoods - Their art and style is so beautiful and interesting, and honestly they depict the characters in such a gorgeous, realistic way. I love the watercolor, stepped-right-out-of-a-painting quality of their work. My favourite was one of the entire cast of TRR/H, a picture of Rafael and the OH MC hugging and looking like the giddy reunited lovers that they are, and this cute picture of the entire ITB crew!
@they-callme-ami - Just the fact that they do such incredible art of black characters brings me so much joy 🥰🥰🥰 Here's their awesome commission page! I'm new to their art so I'm really excited to reblog them and have more people see them!!
@ellezelindraws - I absolutely love their drawings of Hana Lee (personal favourite is the one of Hana in a pink cheongsam) and their lovely cartoons of Hana and the MC as a married couple (like this one of the MC dreaming Hana might be bald, Hana gazing admiringly at a sleeping MC, and goth!Hana). They've done some other incredible art of wlw in particular as well, like Sabina, Annabelle, Ava and Kamilah. I can't wait to see more of their art!!
@danniseyebrows - They make incredible art of a lot of characters but the ones I am most familiar with are her TRR MCs (she has one each for each LI!) My favourite of the lot is her Hana MC Valerie, and one of my most enduringly favourite works of theirs is a depiction of the MC reacting to the dress that Hana made for her (in Shanghai) in a way that truly acknowledges these women as being in love with each other 💗
If any of their commissions are open, please do check them out and consider commissioning art from them...you definitely won't be disappointed!
