One of the most important aspects of my evolution as I begin my second half-century of life has been to joyfully and generously share with myself and with others what is available from the abundance of the Universal Source. I have always loved sharing with others- became rather famous for my marathon chamber music reading parties at my house where I had converted an entire bedroom into a temperature controlled wine cellar... but the party life of Bacchus doesn't work into a life in which one has to drive long distances and stay somewhat presentable for on-screen camera shots in the commercial world of music. I am blessed to share space and creative vision with two PHENOMENAL companies that are actively helping me to age backwards~ THANK YOU Bunny of @madeinearthofficial and Liz of @bbrazilactivewear for your love light energy! ...the #AfterYogaChat... . . . Often, I get so wrapped up in the #acroyoga practice on the mats with my students that I forget to pick up the camera to record the shapes we make. . . . Video of this practice is essential for study as our proprioception is literally turned upside down. As with any physical action in the body, one can slightly adjust the body to create more efficiency in movement, and in our quest for "strength and ease in every pose" #sthirasukkhaasanam, we study to have a more enjoyable experience. . . . My dear friend and mentor @kenlauher mentioned to me the morning of this class that I need to share video testimonials from my students in addition to the written feedback they share. The magical and beautifully transformative modality that is #partneryoga is something that we all can and should participate in because of the wonderful opportunity it lends to connect and communicate with another human being in profound clarity. . . . The best description of #acrobaticyoga is the #YogaOfTrust. Each participant must trust in their personal skills and ability as well as trust in the skills and ability of the person(s) they are working with. The moment thoughts of doubt or fear enter, the pose falls apart. Developing a solid foundation is key to finding that trust. A daily personal exercise regimine and a progressive introduction to partner poses is the way. . . .
