Taking the Moon Boys Dancing
Moon Boys x gn!Reader
I had these thoughts while driving the other day and had to get it out.
You want to go out dancing, and this is how it goes getting each one to go:
Tags/Warnings: NSFW, fluffy, comfort fic, cute
Marc:
Doesn’t know why you even would ask him. He thought it was obvious he’s not the dancing type.
Goes because you begged like really really hard.
Looks really well dressed for someone who doesn’t want to go.
“Wow, you are just stunning, baby.” You look so good in your outfit that he contemplates fucking you into the mattress instead of going dancing.
Isn’t very talkative on the ride over because he’s thinking about ways to not embarrass himself when he gets there, and ways to get out of actually dancing.
He really likes seeing how happy and excited you are to be there.
You have determined that if someone threw a broomstick on the dance floor it would have more rhythm than Marc Spector does.
Marc is only willing to suffer a little embarrassment for the sake of hearing your giggle while he dances before he makes you agree to ONLY slow dancing.
His hands are down a little too low on your waist during slow dances. You don’t mind.
Will definitely kiss you at the end of each dance.
Steven:
Can’t believe you would ask him, he thought for sure you would be too embarrassed to bring him dancing out in public. Is low key very excited to go.
Gets really nervous trying to decide what to wear. Settles for matching his outfit to yours to be safe.
Cannot form a coherent sentence after seeing you in your outfit, but you’ve learned how to speak “Steven” very fluently and you kiss his reddened cheeks along with giving him a thank you for the compliment.
Cannot and does not stop talking on the ride over.
Your excitement and his are matched, you’re looking forward to having such a good time with him.
Steven is the worst dancer you’ve ever seen but he is having the time of his life and you love to see it. His smile is beaming.
It feels like grade school dancing again when he has his hands placed far too respectfully high on your waist and doesn’t pull you too close.
You have to literally physically force him bend his elbows so you can get closer to him.
Only steps on your toes 3 times. Nearly gets on his knees to kiss them better because he feels so bad.
You have to initiate, but he’s so happy when you kiss him after each slow dance. You have to snap him out of his dreamy gaze after each one.
Jake:
“Mi amor, of course I’ll go dancing with you.” He would then kiss your hand seductively followed by a wink.
Is always well dressed so doesn’t even have to try, but spends an extra minute in the mirror adjusting his tie.
Does fuck you into the mattress after seeing you in your outfit despite your initial protests about having to fix yourself up again after.
Afterward you determine that fixing yourself up a second time was a fair trade for the D.
Doesn’t talk much on the way over because he is thinking about which moves he wants to show off most. He’s looking forward to trying to impress you.
Is hands down the best dancer of the boys. You didn’t realize he could dance so well.
You actually have to ask him to stop showing off and dance with you.
During the slow dance his hands are squeezing your rear, and he is pressing himself against you the entire time.
You’re a little surprised that he’s got a hard on after the pre-dance fucking.
Forget kissing at the end of the slow dances, he has been full open mouth kissing you since the song started. If you two weren’t clothed you would’ve been having sex in public.
Will be fucking you again when you get home.

I read your moon boys dating a reader with bulimia fic and even tho I don’t have an eating disorder I found it weirdly comforting?? It got me wondering if you’d write a similar post but with a reader who has extreme anxiety/agoraphobia. Mine personally makes me really nauseous and sweaty and dizzy and I wish I had the moon boys to help :( if you don’t feel comfortable writing this prompt that’s totally fine too! No pressure
hi! I was laying down for bed when I saw this and felt really drawn to get back up and write this! I had a good friend when I lived in Nebraska with agoraphobia, we met when she was able to get back to work and we worked at olive garden together. My house was the first house she had been in in years. Some of these are specific to what I know from her as she's my only frame of reference.
Moon Boys with a reader with Anxiety/Agoraphobia
Marc Spector
Marc is no stranger to anxiety, he gets it
Obviously not agoraphobia, as he goes about doing all this wild shit, but anxiety he gets.
He's a little nervous around the idea of medication, but if it helps you, he gets used to it.
He'll take things little by little, whatever you're able to do, he will be there
But he's not letting you stay stagnant, and not letting you get worse.
He's familiar with the work it takes to get better, and knows you can do it
Of course, if you're having a bad day, or a bad week, that's perfectly okay, as long as you get back up and keep trying.
He's constantly muttering "great job, baby" for every bit of progress, or even just good days, like you went grocery shopping with him and didn't need to leave!
Steven Grant
I might be alone in this, but I do not see Steven as anxious by any means. Nervous, I think, but that nervousness never gets debilitating the way an anxiety disorder does (and absolutely did to me)
But Steven is observant
When he asked you to come to his work after he got off so he could show you around when you first began dating, he thought it would be a cute date, you did your best to hide your fears.
But it didn't take long for Steven to notice how harshly you gripped his hand with your sweaty one
When he looked at you, you were pale and shaking.
"Love? You alright"
"Mmhm" You confirmed, but the distant look in your eyes.
Steven didn't believe you. "Let's step outside, yeah?"
Before you got outside, you felt faint. You didn't pass out exactly, but Steven had to steady you. "It's alright darling, almost there"
As soon as he got you into fresh air, he sat you on the bench. A kind lady grabbed you water from the cafe and you recovered once you felt less trapped and crowded in.
You explain to Steven your condition, and next thing you know, you are at his flat and theres all kind of books on the shelves. He has already read them, book marking parts he things is important.
It was Steven that first suggested medication. If you didn't feel it was right now you, he didn't push the subject, but he did explain to you some options he had learned about.
Steven had a methodical approach, and although you had to explain to him the cure wasn't as easy as A+B=C, you were very happy to have someone who was so ready to help.
Jake Lockley
Jake Lockley was afraid of the dark
You figured it out when you wake up in the middle of the night and he's still awake, looking anxious.
Of course, he denies it at first, but you talk to him about what you told Steven, which he knew of course, but hearing you relate it to how he was feeling was calming for him.
"Well. Maybe I prefer when the night is a bit brighter" he finally concedes, referring to the rather dark night out.
Jake Lockley does not want a night light. So one night you pretend to walk into the corner of the wall and the bathroom "That's it! We need a light for the bathroom." And bought one the next day. Jake grumbled about it, but turned it on every night. He knew he was in love with you then.
Since that, Jake tries his best to show you the same support you gave him. He doesn't push you as hard as Marc does, or come up with solutions like Steven, no, he's just there to love and hold you.
Jake is fiercely defensive of you, not allowing any negative talk from others or from yourself.
All the boys
Lots of praise!
Always clears plans with you beforehand
Keeps basic wet wipes in the car in case you have a bought of sweating, they can wipe it off once you cool down.
You have a signal you give them if things are starting to become too much
They will make excuses for you as to why you have to leave/can't come, that put the focus on them "Oh sorry, they can't, I have an appointment that day"
If you are on medication, they remind you to take it/bring it places.
If you are going to therapy, they are more than happy to attend a few sessions to learn how to support you best.
Always there to take care of you at home if you had a bad day that wore you out.
***********
I hope you enjoyed! I don't have agoraohobia so if i said anything offensive or inaccurate let me know.
I do, however, have anxiety, and it used to be pretty fucking bad. Like, anxiety attacks so often in high school I had a pass with a teacher I could just leave the classroom if I needed to without asking (small school perks) bc they trusted that I was handling what I needed to, not fucking around. Had a panic attack at prom so bad I passed out from no breathing. All that to say I'm doing great now. i was on meds for a while, one a day to get through plus one if things got bad. Now I only take them as needed, once or twice a month. It does fucking get better. It really really does. My friend is doing so much better. She used to only leave the house house a day to get coffee, and now she has a full time job she enjoys and full social life. I hope things get better for you!!!

Next Month
1.5k / Steven Grant x f!reader / 18+
Summary: Your period arrives—a painful reminder of another lost month, another lost chance after trying so hard. Thankfully, you find strength and comfort in your loving husband, Steven. Warnings: period after ttc, emotional hurt/comfort A/N: I wrote this at 4 am after my cramps woke me up. Trying to conceive is hard. My heart goes out to all of you who are going through this too. It'll all work out somehow. It just has to. 🤍
The day had started out like any other—with a hint of hope, one that you’d barely dared to grasp, that maybe, just maybe, this time things would be different.
But as you sat on the toilet that morning, staring at the too-familiar streak of red, the hope slipped away from your grasp, and the weight of disappointment settled on your chest like a stone.
Another month. Another failed attempt.
You’d been trying with Steven for what felt like forever, and each time your period arrived, it felt like a cruel reminder that something was broken. Maybe in you. Maybe in fate. It gnawed at your heart, an overwhelming ache that mirrored the physical pain already coursing through your body.
The cramps were relentless today, twisting in your abdomen, spreading to your legs, to your back, as if punishing you for even thinking that this month might be different. You clutched the counter, willing the pain to subside, but it lingered. Sharp, biting.
The blood, the cramps, the emotional toll—it was all too much. And yet, somehow, you had to go to work, put on a professional face, smile, and be polite, even though every part of you wanted to scream and break down.
The hours dragged by in a haze of discomfort and forced pleasantries, you felt nauseous, no change of position in your chair offered any relief, every trip to the bathroom caused you to tear up, and Steven’s sweet text messages pierced your heart.
By the time you got home, your nerves were raw, your body and mind too exhausted to keep up the pretense any longer. Your muscles ached, your heart heavier than it had ever been, and a pit of dread sat deep in your stomach. You’d thought about calling Steven, but what would you say? “It didn’t happen again.” It wasn’t fair to keep burdening him with your fears.
He was so hopeful, so full of love.
But as you stood in front of the stove, stirring a pot you weren’t even sure you had the energy to eat from, something in you broke. The spoon clattered against the side of the pot, your hands trembling, and suddenly, hot tears streamed down your face.
The sobs came out of nowhere, jagged and painful, and you leaned forward, bracing yourself against the counter, shaking with the force of your grief.
You couldn’t do it anymore.
The hope, the crushing disappointment, the anger, the heartache—it was demoralizing. Why couldn’t your body do what it was supposed to? Why? Why couldn’t you give Steven the one thing you both wanted so desperately?
You didn’t hear the door open. Didn’t hear the soft sound of Steven’s keys dropping into the dish by the door. You were too lost in your sorrow, the ache that felt like it was swallowing you whole.
“Love,” Steven’s voice, gentle and concerned, cut through the storm of your sobs. His hand was warm on your back, but you flinched, too raw to be touched just yet. “Oh, love, what’s wrong?”
He didn’t ask if it was your period. He didn’t need to. You’d gone through this cycle enough times together for him to know. He moved around you, his face soft with concern, his dark eyes wide and gentle as he stepped closer.
“I’m sorry,” you choked out, wiping at your tears with the back of your hand, but more kept falling. “I’m so sorry, Steven. I’m” You couldn’t even finish the sentence. The words lodged in your throat, thick and bitter.
Steven was there before you could crumble any further, his arms wrapping around you with a gentleness that felt like safety, like home. He didn’t squeeze too tightly, knowing how fragile you felt, but he held you close enough to ground you, to remind you that you weren’t alone.
“Hey, hey, shh,” he whispered, his voice a soft balm against the wound in your heart. His words were warm, like the honey you often stirred into tea, the kind that coats your soul when you need it most. “You don’t have to apologize, sweetheart. Not to me. Never for this.”
But you felt like you had to.
The weight of every missed chance, every negative test, hung heavy around your entire being, and in this moment, it seemed unbearable. The tears kept coming, no matter how much you tried to stop them, and you buried your face in his chest, your shoulders shaking as you let it all out.
Every negative test, every pregnancy announcement from friends, every piece of baby clothing you’d already picked out, every article you’d read about fertility, every night you’d cried yourself to sleep—every piece of heartbreak you’d been holding inside—it all came pouring out in his arms.
Steven held you, his hands moving in slow circles on your back, wishing he could soak up your pain, wishing he could carry more of the burden for you. “It’ll be alright,” he murmured. “It will, love. I know it’s hard, and I know it hurts. I’m sad, too, but we’ll get through this. Together. We always do.”
His words were soft, tender, and you could feel the love in every syllable. He wasn’t frustrated or disappointed, not in you. That much was clear. He wasn’t angry that things hadn’t worked out again. He was here, holding you through the storm like he always did, trying his best to calm your racing thoughts.
“But what if…what if we can’t?” you whispered, your voice trembling as you pulled back just enough to look at him through wet lashes. “What if something’s wrong with me, Steven? What if it never happens? Time is ticking and I—what if I can’t have a baby? It’s not fair and I’m so sick of this. What is wrong with me?”
His brow furrowed, his hands coming up to cradle your face, thumbs brushing away your tears. “There is nothing wrong with you,” he said firmly, his voice so full of certainty that it made you ache. “Nothing. And even if—if—it doesn’t happen the way we want, we’ll still have each other, yeah? We’ll find our way. I promise. I married you because you’re everything I’ve ever wanted. You. Not the possibility of a baby. You.”
You shook your head, tears pooling in your eyes, overwhelmed by the sincerity in his voice. “But I want to have a baby with you,” you whispered. “I want a little toddler running around, with your smile and curious eyes, telling me stories about Egypt before they can even pronounce the words. I want a child who grows into someone who makes the world a better place just by existing in it, just like you do. The world needs more of you, Steven, and I—I want that for us. A child to love. A family.”
“Sweetie, I want all that too.” Steven’s gaze softened, his eyes full of unshakable love. “Whenever I imagine it, I see a bright little girl with a big smile and beautiful eyes just like yours, tugging on my sleeve and asking a million questions about everything. I’m sure my heart would explode from cuteness. And there’s nothing I’d love more than to see you being the incredible mum I know you’ll be.”
His hands cradled your face as he spoke, his voice steady and filled with conviction. “But that doesn’t mean I’m missing something now. You already give me everything I could ever need. Every day.”
He leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead, his breath warm against your skin. “I know it’ll all work out somehow. And until then we just keep trying and being happy that we have each other, yeah? All I care about is you, love. I’m with you, no matter what. Always.”
His words sank deep into your chest, and though the pain didn’t vanish, the edge of it softened just a little. You let out a shaky breath, closing your eyes and leaning into his touch, the warmth of his presence wrapping around you like a blanket.
“I love you,” you whispered, your voice thick with emotion, the words barely making it past the lump in your throat.
“I love you too,” he whispered back, his lips brushing softly against your ear in a kiss so gentle it sent a shiver through you, making your heart ache in the sweetest way. “It’ll be okay. I can feel it. Next month—next month will be our time.”
A small, hopeful smile tugged at your lips as you looked at him, your eyes meeting his. Despite everything, his optimism was contagious, and for a moment, the weight on your shoulders felt lighter.
You smiled at him, and in his eyes, you saw a glimmer of the future you both so desperately wanted.

MOON BOYS X READER
₊˚.⋆🕯️⋆⁺. FIRST NIGHT TOGETHER : 4.2K WRDS
A/N : Originally, my goal with these preferences was to try write more than 1k words. I ended up writing a lot more as you can tell by the word count! I’m really proud of myself for that to be honest. Anyway, here’s some preferences for staying at the Moon Boys’ flat for the first night after spending some time with them. Warning for a pinch of angst with Steven’s, anxiety with Marc’s, and badly written Spanish in Jake’s (sorry </3)
STEVEN GRANT .
You and Steven have been friends for a while now. Both of you moved into the same apartment building around the same week. With the agreement to make the most of it, the two of you decided you would meet up every evening after Steven’s shift to talk.
Sometimes you guys would simply talk and you’d give him a ride home since he didn’t have a license. Other times, you’d greet each other with the goofiest grins with the knowledge that you planned an outing or movie night together.
Earlier today, he came beaming to you at your guys’ usual hang-out spot about how a coworker of his asked him out. The stars were fresh in the sky, the sun only had set a little bit ago. The wind was getting his thick curls messier than they already had been from his long work day. He squinted while looking for you and immediately smiled when he found you. The last thing you would’ve expected was for him to tell you about going on a date with his coworker, let alone someone he barely knew.
He was doing his usual when he was excited; talking with his hands, exaggerating his facial expressions, changing his tone with each little word.
As much as you were admiring him at that moment, it did wring your heart dry. Hearing him ramble about how excited, happy, and confident he was about this date felt like a stab in the chest. You didn’t know why.
You had never felt the need to stop him from doing something. Hell, you always encouraged Steven to follow his heart and do what he desired. At that moment, you were regretting it heavily. All the encouragement. All the praising. All the pep talks. All of it led up to him accepting a date with one of his damn coworkers.
“You alright? Got something bothering you, mate? Hello,” he had asked with concern. He stopped with the exaggeration for a second to check up on you. You couldn’t convince yourself that man didn’t have feelings for you. Yet, you shook your head no and shrugged your shoulders. You hated having to lie to him or try to shove your feelings to the side. “It’s nothing. Just happy for you! I can’t believe someone finally asked you out,” you explained to him with your hand on his bicep. It lingered there for a moment before slowly sliding down to his forearm, and wrist, and settling on his hand. His pulse was a little fast as you had felt it throb under your thumb. Both of you gave each other an unnecessarily long but welcomed gaze. His pulse quickened.
Steven got a bit flushed and instinctively pulled his hand out from under your palm. The bench beneath your hand was cold and wet from the rain earlier today. You were already missing the warmth of his flesh, but he was right fucking in front of you.
“Why does this hurt so bad,” you ask yourself now as you sit on your bed. You’ve been asking yourself this since you got back to your flat. You’re beating yourself up for thinking about him so much. “That bitch doesn’t even know him! I don’t know why she thinks she deserves a second of his time. She’s not nearly enough for him. She’s not good enough for him,” you growl to yourself in anger. Out of your rage, you start to do something that you never do unless Steven’s over. You grab some popcorn, slam it in the microwave, and impatiently get your couch ready for a movie marathon.
“I bet he only gave her a chance because she’s so far out of his league that he would’ve felt bad about rejecting her. Maybe Donna treats her better than she treats Steven so she’s using him to get some praise and maybe a promotion,” you mutter through gritted teeth while walking around your flat, tossing pillows and throwing blankets onto your couch.
Then comes a knock. You and Steven’s knock. The one that lets you two know you’re the one who’s knocking. Your rage pauses as you stand there in silence. “Hiya… The date didn’t go too well, just letting you know. I’ll be in my flat if you need me,” he explains to you before you hear him walk off. Your heart that was previously wrung of all concern for him as he explained the situation to you earlier soaked up his words like a sponge.
You internally debated what the best thing to do would be. However, your brain interrupts itself when the microwave begins beeping. A groan leaves your lips as you shuffle over to grab the popcorn. You hold the bag in your hands before realizing that this is the solution. This was what would help Steven feel better. A movie marathon together. You and him alone, cuddled up on the couch, snacking on popcorn, making the dumbest comments as you both watch.
You take no time throwing on your pajamas, grabbing your phone, and getting anything else you need while the popcorn cools on the counter. It almost falls on the floor when you try to grab it the first time, but you thankfully catch it. You run out your door, walk a few feet, and knock on Steven’s. “Steven, can we have a movie night together? Please,” you plead. You know he can be a bit selfless sometimes, but you need him to know you’re concerned about him right now. No excuses, no lies. “I just wanna do something to cheer you up. You sounded so sad when you were at my door earlier. I’m sorry for not answering. I’m here for you now,” you anxiously ramble before his figure greets you. “Guess it wouldn’t hurt. Don’t have work tomorrow either,” he comments as the slightest smile begins to creep onto his face.
The two of you let out a deep sigh once you’re settled on his bed. He explained he didn’t want to sit on the couch because he wanted to be comfortable. Feeling pity for him, you quickly accepted his request for you guys to get cozy under his covers.
“There we go! Much better, yeah,” he asks while looking at you. Despite Steven’s flat being dark aside from his laptop screen, his eyes seem to be softer. His gaze reminds you of the moment you shared earlier. His flesh getting warmer. His pulse throbbed quicker under your touch.
“Now, let me just get my computer going,” he murmurs, pulling you out of your memories. You smile back at him and nod softly. A soft giggle leaves your lips as he awkwardly pushes it to you. As much as a nerd he is, he’s never been tech-savvy. You quickly start up the movie while Steven moves back and forth on his thighs. Once it loads, you push the computer in front of you two and pull the covers over your lap.
In due time, you and Steven finally cuddle against each other. Your knees are tucked up under your stomach with your shins pressed against his thighs. Your arms loosely circle his hips while one of his hands is settled on your waist. Your head rests against his bicep. The only sounds that fill his flat are the movie’s audio, sheets ruffling, wind whistling against the window and the sound of deep breathing.
“I wanna let you know I’m sorry for ignoring my feelings,” Steven starts. You don’t look up at him but still display a confused expression on your face. “I love you. I have loved you. I’m sorry for not telling you sooner,” he says. You can feel his skin begin to heat. Before he can start to verbally apologize and insist he didn’t mean it, you let him know what you’ve wanted to say for a while. “I love you too, Steven,” you assure him. You lean forward, pressing yourself against his thigh and torso to give his lips a soft and gentle kiss. He kisses you back with the same loving energy. It’s a back-and-forth of soft pecks and lingering kisses before both of you grow too tired to continue. You fall asleep with your limbs tangled with one another’s, finally at peace with your feelings for each other.
MARC SPECTOR .
Anxious. If there was one word to describe Marc Spector when he’s around you, it would be anxious. Sweaty palms, clammy hands, flickering gaze, and an inability to be still. He started acting this way when both of you had a conversation about your mutual feelings.
It’s been almost a month since that conversation. Now the two of you sat at the warm, homey restaurant that wasn’t too far from his flat. Marc’s gaze was pitiful. He looked at you with his big, brown eyes that were all glossy from the reflection of the light.
“You look amazing tonight, love,” he told you tenderly. Your cheeks warm before you attempt to return the compliment. “And I could say the same. You always look so good no matter what you wear,” you beamed.
He reached his hand on top of the table, beckoning your own to join his. You chuckle softly and put your palm against his. His fingers make their way under your hand until they meet his thumb to carefully wrap around yours. He slowly runs his thumb against the soft flesh between two of your fingers. You sigh at the gentle gesture. Even before the shared confession, Marc was always prone to being gentle with you, whether it was his words or his actions.
Both of your eyes shared the same sight. A warm meal in front of you, the light from the inside of the restaurant shining perfectly onto your lover’s face, and the most welcoming hand lovingly wrapped around your own. None of this felt real. This must’ve been what Marc felt like all the time; terrified that this was just a dream or a hallucination. Luckily both of those anxieties were false. Neither of you had anything to worry about. Both of you were real and both of you were here to stay with each other.
After a few minutes of admiration and silence, you slip your hand away from his so you can both begin to eat. Hums and quiet groans of satisfaction leave your lips. Despite the restaurant not being a main chain, it had some of the best damn food you’ve ever eaten. It doesn’t even take you two hours to finish your meals. You and Marc have decided that you’ll each pay half if the two of you plan a date together, rather than on your own. He holds your hand while you walk over to the side of the street, hailing a taxi for you two.
Now the two of you are at his apartment complex. You immediately notice his anxious mannerisms getting more apparent. “Is something wrong, Marc,” you ask sweetly, not wanting to assume anything. “Yeah. I’m fine, darling,” he assured you, nervously biting his bottom lip. You squeeze his hand a bit to remind him that you love him. He squeezes back with a bit more force.
The elevator takes you up to his floor. He fumbles with his keys as you guys make your way to his flat. “Give me a second,” he mutters while fumbling with his key ring. He gets the key in and takes a deep breath before turning it to open the door. His expression tells you that his mind is racing with unwelcome thoughts. “Come on in,” he says hesitantly while motioning you to go in as he takes the key from the lock.
You’re somewhat confused. Marc had never let you come over to his flat. You assumed that his mental illness caused his place to be a bit of a wreck, maybe he found the state of it embarrassing, or he simply liked being at your place more. Your brows furrow as you take in the area. It isn’t nearly as bad as you expected it to be. Sure the whole flat has papers and books scattered across it, but not in a way that makes it look like a mess. However, Marc quickly objects to your internal dialogue as if he could read your mind.
“Shit,” he muttered. “I know it’s a mess. I’m sorry. I didn’t have time to clean up before we just spontaneously planned our date tonight,” he groaned wearily, running a hand through his hair. “Marc, don’t say that. Your flat is just about as messy as mine. Plus, I don’t expect you to have a picture-perfect place! You live here. It’ll get a little messy from day-to-day life,” you told him with a soft smile. You set down the bag you’d brought to stay the night before walking over to him. Your arms encircled his waist and rested at the small of his back. His muscles tensed in response to your touch. You leaned your head to press your face against his chest. “I promise it’s fine. I already feel at home,” you hummed while adding a bit of pressure to your embrace. He sighed deeply before giving in to your reassurance. He nodded his head in agreement and returned the gentle gesture. His arms reached from his sides to your neck, one hand tracing circles on your shoulder blade while the other rubbed the back of your head. He tilted your head up from his chest and smiled. “There’s that stunning face I love so much,” he cooed softly before kissing your forehead. “Do you ever stop,” you tease while cocking your head to the side. “What? Loving you? Never,” he replied before giving you a quick squeeze.
The next few minutes are the most soothing and peaceful you’ve had in a long time. The way Marc holds you feels so protective and safe. Your shared body warmth helps both of you melt into each other. His heart beats heavily in his chest while you press your bodies together. A soft, slow sway is shared between you. Heavy breathing, quiet mumbles of only the most tender words, hands fiddling with the fabric of the other’s clothes.
“You ready for bed yet, baby,” he asks softly, leaning forward to whisper to you. He gently kisses your neck while awaiting your answer. Your hand reaches up to play with his dark curls and you begin to hum with satisfaction from the kisses. “Mm. I guess,” you drag out in a sigh. “Let’s get you to bed then,” he mumbles. Before leading you to his bed, Marc smiles against your neck, giving the soft skin a small nip.
You manage to maneuver over to his bed as he continues to stay glued to you. He turns you around and flops back on his bed, pulling you on top of him securely. You let out a bit of a yell when he does that. He pulls his arms tighter around your waist and kisses the nape of your neck. “Fuck. That feels so good,” he groans. This man loves having you close, having you lay on him, smelling you, sweet things like that. However, they all came from a deep-rooted fear of losing you or that you’re simply a hallucination. So any time he convinces, or forces, you to lay on top of him, he is in utter bliss.
You start to get a little antsy in his grasp. His arms hold you tightly, but you still tilt side to side. “Marc! You can let me go now,” you exclaim playfully. He grunts in disagreement. “I’m not letting you go.” You sigh softly before moving all of your weight to one side. As expected his arms stay around your waist. He was insistent on not letting you go.
“You win,” you groan softly. He moves his body so he can rest his head on the crook of your neck. “I know, darling. Now we can go to sleep since we have that settled,” he hums against your skin. Both of you fall asleep entangled with each other. His arms stay around your waist like a harness as your hands lay on top of his.
JAKE LOCKLEY .
You and Jake had a date arranged. It was more of him planning a surprise for you and you agreeing to it. Nonetheless, you were intensely excited.
As he requested, you packed a bag to stay the night at his place and had your pajamas on. It was a bit suspicious. You had high hopes that he wasn’t going to attempt to take you somewhere in the state you're in right now. You’ve continually had a habit of doing one or two little things just to make sure you felt attractive. As you thought about how Jake loved to fuck around with you, he never did it in a publicly humiliating way. The idea was swift to flee your mind as briefly as it came.
You hear a hard and heavy knock on your door that made you gasp. That was definitely him. The way he’d knock so harshly never failed to get a reaction out of you. You shake your head in disapproval while moving to grab your bag. “I’ll be there in a second, Jake,” you shout to him. “Hurry up, precioso! I want to see that face I’ve missed so much,” he weeps almost childishly. You roll your eyes at his pouting while hauling your bag to your door. You open it and snicker to yourself. He was wearing his pajama just like you were. He definitely had a good plan for the two of you.
“There’s my favorite cabbie,” you beam, your hands quickly reaching to his face. His stubble prickles your hand and presses harder against it when he smiles lovingly at you, his teeth displayed just for his lover. You cant help but smile back at him with the same amount of love on your lips. Your thumbs rub along his cheekbone before you lean forward to kiss him. He hums against your lips before both of you pull back. You move your hands from his stubble inhabited face, down to his chest. His own hand move to rest on your hips, treating them like handles for his hands to hold on to. “I guess you beat me to our little kiss this time. I bet you a back rub that I’ll get you first next time, cariño,” he promised you playfully. You knew he would because he stayed true to his word when it came to you. That didn’t mean you wouldn’t challenge his words. “Sure you will,” you replied.
He led you to his taxi, smiling and rambling about his little surprise the whole way there. You loved the way the would talk to you when you didn’t give him any feedback. You could swear on your life that if you never spoke again, he would still find some way to keep talking to you. Once the two of you reached his taxi, he dramatically cleared his throat. “Don’t even try, ángel,” he quips with the assumption that you would try to open the door for yourself like you did last time, which ended in a horribly long lecture about how you deserve to be treated like royalty. You feign disappointment as he politely walks you to the passenger side of the car. Before your hand can even reach the handle in attempts to mess with him, he grabs your hand and clicks his tongue at you. “Dios mío,” he mutters before opening the door for you. “Now you can get in,” he says while motioning for you to enter the car. Just to make Jake sure that you won’t keep playing with him, you gently hold his free hand so you can safely step into the vehicle without tripping. “Safety first,” he hums before grabbing the seatbelt and buckling you in. He leans down to kiss your cheek before shutting the door. He enters the driver’s side rather quickly as if he’s in a rush. “Let’s get going,” he says happily as he begins driving his taxi.
During the drive to wherever Jake is taking you, he keeps asking you question after question. “How was your day?” “Did work go well for you?” “You remember that I love you, right, mi vida?” You groan, chuckle, sigh, give any reaction you can to his questions. “Jake! Enough with the questions,” you tease as you softly nudge his arm. “I’ve told you anything you could ask about me. I swear you’ve got enough information to write a biography on me,” you continue with a playful smile. “Okay, okay, my apologies, precioso,” he chuckles in response to your teasing before he parks in front of a tall building. “But there’s one more question I have to ask you. I promise it’s the last one for now,” he swears while holding your hand for a genuine effect. “Wanna have a sleepover,” he asks with that same goofy grin on his face from earlier. He smiles so hard and hopefully that his mustache pushes up against his nose. “Please,” he asks sweetly while squeezing your hand. You return the happy expression and nod in agreement. That was his plan this whole time. Get you dressed up nice and cozy in your pajamas, drive you to his apartment at night on a route you haven’t been through before, and invite you to have a damn sleepover. God, you couldn’t get enough of this man and his stupidly tender ideas. “Yeah, we can have a sleepover,” you chuckle softly.
Once you two reach his flat he opens the door, like a gentleman of course, for you. You thank him with a kiss on the cheek that earns you a soft smile and a thanks of his own. “Where should I set my stuff,” you ask him awkwardly. “Give it here, hermoso,” he says, practically beaming at the idea of helping you once more. Without hesitation you hand the bag over to him. He takes it and sets it under his desk before sitting on his bed and waving you over with his arms. “Come on, doll. I’m not going to bite you,” he pouts before he begins to grasp the air like you’re just out of reach. You sigh at his whining and walk over to his bed with a smile.
He doesn’t even let you sit down before he clings to you. He pulls you between his legs by the waist as you stand in front of him, letting out a soft gasp when he does so. He slightly lifts your shirt up, just enough so your stomach is exposed. He sighs softly before leaning forward to press his face against it. “Muy bueno,” he purrs as he feels the warmth of your stomach heat his face. He hums with his cheek pressed to your stomach as his hands slide up and down the back of your thighs. You can’t do anything except bite the inside of your cheek and blush as he continues. “Tan bueno para mí,” he praises, emphasizing that it’s for him. “Jake,” you whine softly. He lets out a soft grunt in response. “I’d prefer if you let me lay down before I faint from how affectionate you’re being,” you plead to him. Out of respect for you, he sighs and releases you from his grasp. You ruffle his hair a bit before crawling under the covers and awaiting for him to do the same. He follows soon after, now looking at you with those gorgeous brown eyes of his. He pulls you flush against him with his arms crossed behind your back. “You never said anything about not giving you affection while you lay down,” he says playfully while smiling. You’re already flushed again just by the idea. He shifts a bit further up along the bed so he can begin to shower you with love.
He starts at your forehead, pecking every inch of skin he can get. His hands crawl up from your shoulder blades to the back of your head so he can caress you loving and hold you in place. He moves to your cheeks and nose, hands coming to cup your face. He kisses from your left cheek, kisses your nose once before pausing for a moment to make some savory eye contact, then moves on to your right cheek. He pulls back for a second and you give each other a knowing look. “Please,” you whisper to him in a gentle tone. “Anything for you, mi corazón,” he mutters back. His hands come to cup your jaw on either side, thumbs brushing your cheeks as his other fingers lightly grasp the area behind your ears. He kisses your lips softly before pulling back. You give him a pitiful look before kissing him back. You keep going at it with each other, eventually letting the kisses linger for a few seconds, then adding your tongues into the mix. It’s a little messy, but it’s so tender. “I love you more than anything, mi vida. Anything,” he says to you before kissing you one last time, lips pressed to yours as if they’re a lifeline for him. You hum softly in satisfaction as he shifts your body for you, pressing your head to his chest and resting his chin on top of your head. He traces shapes with his fingers and scratches your back gently until you’re asleep in his secure embrace.

Moon Boys w/ Reader who is on their Period
꒦꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒷꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒷꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒷꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒷꒷꒦
Warnings: Mentions of periods, cramps, and other period symptoms (of course). Reader is kept gender neutral for all my he/hims and they/thems who still have their periods. Mention of Layla, I know that’s not really anything but whatever.
Author’s Snip: Guess who’s on his period! Me! So might as well use this as something to help fill out my MoonKnight masterlist.
Notes: There is no dysphoria talk in here but if anyone wants that they can request it.
I’ll shut up now. Enjoy! And don’t be afraid to request.
꒦꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒷꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒷꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒷꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒦꒷꒦꒷꒷꒦
Steven Grant
Steven of course knows what a period is but he’s never actually been with someone long enough to come to the part were they would get their period or see them while on their period
He’s great support though
If you have any issues while on your period like bad cramps or fatigue he’s right there to help
Steven actually reads up and researches as much as he can about periods and menstrual cycles to actually understand what’s happening and how to help you
If you hold up fine on your own then he respects that but if you need something he’s on it
Literally nothing is too big of a task for him. If you want a specific snack then he’s going to go get it and some extra things
He’s had a cashers look at him after noticing all the stuff he’s buying and say “You’re a good man.” or just give him a knowing look
Steven does get a little scared if your moody because he doesn’t like feeling like you’re mad at him. But he understands.
I mean you’re bleeding against your will for several days and can sometimes be in pain and still have to go on with your day like you’re not. That’s defiantly not comfortable. He’d be a bit snappy if he had to go through that.
Steven is a huge cuddle bug so if you want him to hold you while you sit through a cramp he’s right there and holding your heating pad for you
He’s just a sweetie the whole time
Marc Spector
He was married to Layla
He knows how it goes
Marc isn’t doting like Steven (very much) is, but he’s not going to tell you to walk it off either
If you’re stuck in bed because your period isn’t going easy on you he’ll get you what you need, but he’s still very much Marc about it
“Alright. Think of what you need because I’m not gonna walk back and forth repeatedly.”
For the most part he leaves you alone and lets you come to him since he doesn’t want to get in your space and bother you
Marc memorizes and remembers when you usually get your period and so he’s able to prepare for it so that you don’t have to worry about running out of pad/tampons or painkillers
Again he’s not going to treat you like your sick and dying but he still very much cares about you and wants to make sure you’re okay
You can twist his harm into getting you a specific snack if you do puppy dog eyes and hit him with the “pretty please”
Is he aware that you use that against him? Yes. Is he mad that it gets him every time? Yes. Is he still going to drive all the way to the store? Also yes.
Jake Lockley
“Beba, I’m in the period aisle. What pussy size you wear.” energy
You know he would. Jake’s the type of man to do that. Don’t argue with me
So all the boys know your cycle and what time frame you get your period. But Jake is able to be most on the dot
It’s kind of creepy because he knows exactly when you’ll get it but Jake’s just used to being observant and so he just recognizes it more than the rest of them
This also leads to him telling when you’re really going through it with your cramps and just trying to keep a brave face
When he sees that he just picks you up and puts you on the couch with your heating pad, pills, and a blanket
Whatever you were doing before doesn’t matter, he’ll do it. You go ahead and just lay there and relax as best you can
To all my Mexicans and hispanics reading this, if you’re cramps are bad then he puts his hand on your stomach and does “Sana sana colita de rana, si no sanas hoy, sanarás mañana” to help you feel better and also make you laugh if you know what it is
For context to any non hispanics, “Sana sana colita de rana, si no sanas hoy, sanarás mañana” is a rhyme that parents will do while rubbing where their child got hurt or feels pain

Oscar Isaac Characters x Reader with Tics HCs

Request: Oscar Isaac characters helping reader on a bad tic day? (that's why it's in caps!) Comments and reblogs are appreciated!🫶 More disabled reader fics.
Steven Grant
Steven’s always patient and gentle and he’s been that exact compassionate way whenever you’ve had tic attacks, he’s there for you and doesn’t put more attention or pressure on you when it happens. He’s never made you feel bad or embarrassed about having tic attacks or when you’d have clapping your hands or clicking your fingers in public, he’ll only bring attention to it to check in on you when you look uncomfortable, in pain or he can tell you’re having a tic attack. Steven tries really hard to understand what’s like for you and how to best support you, he’s never seen it as a chore or a burden, it’s just one of his many acts of love.
When you’re having a tic attack he’s immediately at your side, his eyes flicker around to see if there’s anything you’ll injure yourself on. Steven then moves things around a bit frantically and helps you however he can and in ways that you can communicate in the moment or have talked about in the past. Steven tries to use distractions as a way to provide some relief and break the tic attack. He’ll start gently asking you questions about your day, he’ll tell you about the newest facts he’s learnt and books he’s read about ancient Egypt.
He keeps a container stocked to the brim with different fidget toys and he’ll get them out to help distract you and hopefully help break a tic and prevent you from hurting yourself. He has chewable fidget toys for tics involving biting or teeth grinding, ones for you to squeeze and hold in your hands to try and help with the motor tics in your hands and arms. Steven does everything he can to give you some kind of sensory and mental distraction to try and help while you’re going through an attack. Afterwards he’s more than happy to make you a cup of tea with some biscuits and bring all your favourite snacks to cuddle in bed. He’ll also keep the container of fidget toys nearby and he’ll fidget with them as well as you rest and share snacks.
Richard Muñoz
Richard was your sweet neighbour, you’d seen him walking his cute little dog Bianca before and had done the neighbourly thing of waving to each other when you saw each other in your driveways. Neighbourly things, but you hadn’t interacted for a real conversation or anything like that until one day you’d been having a terrible day. You’d had constant physical tics, your body was in pain and all your muscles ached. You’d been coming home and you had to stop and sit in your front yard right by the driveway and take deep breaths. One breath in, another out, you tried to focus on your breathing in order to not think about how you felt like you were going to collapse. You squeezed your eyes shut as your arm waved out and your shoulder spasmed.
Richard had noticed you being outside, he hadn’t seen you just sit down like that before and as he looked closer he couldn’t help but see the discomfort in your face. Richard will debate for a moment if he should approach or not because of his anxiety. But he’ll decide to pop out to check on you, Richard will come outside and ask how you are.
As your body shudders and his eyes widen a little you try to explain as quickly as you can with the few words you can speak. Richard’s an empathetic person and he’s used to stressful situations because of his work environment. He crouches down and asks if you’d like him to stay. You shudder again and give a small nod seconds before your neck painfully spasms.
Richard sits with you the whole time, he’s great at being a calm presence, you’ll quickly learn. After your tic attack has finished he insists on you going next door to him so he can cook for you so you can get some good nutrition and soul food and have someone around in case you need it.
It’s not long before you know Richard well and get together. He’s a calm, supportive presence during all tic attacks and he listens to you talk about your tics and what the attacks are like. After you’ve had tic attacks, Bianca will sit in your lap as a fluffy weighted blanket if you’re feeling up for it and if not she’ll sit near you in silent support. Her and Richard have both become big fans of you.
He makes you his favourite meals and he’ll sit with you and play telenovelas on his television while you sit on the couch. It’s a nice distraction and he’ll explain the elaborate plots of past episodes and seasons you’ve missed while you watch, his eyes get wide and light up each time he does. You give him just as much comfort as he gives you, if not more.
Jake Lockley
His brow immediately furrows in concern as he sees you. He worries that you’re having a bad tic day because of stress and he’s a man of action. He wants to be practical with his support while also pampering you and making everything that he can easier for you. Everything.
As he tries to help you lay down without getting in your way or putting too much pressure on you, he moves the bedding around in order to create a soft cosy nest in the bed with blankets and pillows for you to rest in but he carefully arranges everything to make sure that nothing could end up as some choking or injury hazard. Jake’s listened to you speak about your lived experiences and been around long enough to know that fatigue makes your tics worse and that having tic attacks is also extremely physically and emotionally exhausting.
Jake hopes that some rest might help ease up the tics and that if you’re more comfortable it’ll make it easier to feel better. Jake also knows that this is much safer than being on the couch or sitting down somewhere, your muscles are seizing up and spasming, he’s not going to have you fall or injure yourself.
“Ay, mi vida…” Jake softly whispers as he watches you, he gently caresses your trembling arm with a feather light touch as your neck jerks to the left.
It hurt, it really did. It was sore and you already knew that because of the pain and deep ache in your neck from all the neck spasming and head jerking from this tic attack, that you’d feel the pain and then be reminded of the tic attack and it would come back later.
“Just take some nice breaths for me, amor… It’s okay. It’ll pass.” Jake whispers softly, his voice is so gentle as he watches you and he keeps gently caressing your arm as you lay there in bed. You try to take some deep breaths, to regulate your system to the best of your ability.
After one of the longest 30 something minutes in your life, the tic attacks ends and you close your eyes, inhaling a deep shuddery breath before you open them and he looks at you smiling. You give him a small smile when you can manage it. Jake spends the rest of the night pampering you in bed and encouraging you to rest.
Nathan Bateman
You were sitting on the floor in one of the many living room-esque spaces in the secluded compound, the only air your body would let you breathe in were short quick breaths, the air never making its way all the way down and you knew it was just adding to the stress.
You’d been grunting for a few minutes and your jaw ached, it would be no surprise if a bruise appeared over the next day. It wouldn’t be your first and it wouldn’t be your last. A motor tic attack had come on and you’d been punching yourself. You felt woozy as it came on and knew it was best to sit down. As your muscles spasmed and ached you felt like you were going to collapse. At least Nathan had plush carpet installed in this room, it made it feel the tiniest bit safer than if this attack had started in one of the more colder parts of the compound.
That was how Nathan found you, sitting on the floor, tense, teary eyed and witnessing you just punch yourself. Nathan’s eyes widened and his brows shot up higher in concern. He could tell you were having a tic attack and a more harmful one. Nathan was a certified genius with all the headlines and degrees to prove it, when he’d met you and you’d told him about your tics and what that looked like for you. He nodded, mentally noting down each word you’d said. Nathan had then read every peer-reviewed journal article to ever been published and was impressively educated on tics now. He still let you lead how you wanted to go about things though.
Nathan pulls some of the cushions off of the sofa nearby and puts them around you to try and help alleviate some of the physical and emotional stress your body is going through. He gives you space though, knowing that any physical touch or hovering just wouldn’t help right now. After a moment he leans back on his heels and then speaks to the impressive system built into the house and your favourite song starts to play. He hums quietly to it as a low stakes distraction.
“Just some nice deep breaths for me, love,” he says gently and looks at you earnestly. The tone is too gentle for his usual arrogance, it’s moments like this you remember he’s human, just another AI humanoid in a closet.
You take some breaths, slowly your body starts to relax and you feel better. Nathan picks you up to lay you on the couch, he kisses your forehead and then goes to the kitchen for a brief moment.
“Here, your blood sugar is probably low and your brain- nevermind, just eat.” He says once he’s back and places a tall glass of juice down on the glass coffee table and a bowl of CANDY near you.
Nathan then sits down at the end of the sofa, placing a comfortable cushion onto his lap for you to rest your head on and a fuzzy, warm blanket over you as he caresses your cheek gently.
Anselm Vogelweide
Your body had been spasming, you didn’t know how long it had been going on for but one spasm on its own was terrible, let alone feeling your muscles tense and then untense before tensing up again for at least minutes. Your body wasn’t giving you any respite as this happened. “Oh my sweet, dear.” Anselm says as he walks into the bedroom and sees you in bed like this, your muscles spasming and your face coloured in discomfort.
Anselm doesn’t touch you during your tic attacks, especially when you’re experiencing muscle spasms but he’ll always stay nearby and wait. Watching, he grimaces whenever he sees you in pain, due to his long history of chronic pain he understands the physical toll this takes on your body and he takes it seriously. He’ll stay with you and support you however he can, he’ll softly speak about his latest winnings and some business that’s definitely all legal. He’ll communicate with you on what you need based on what you’ve talked about in the past and what’s manageable for you during each tic attack, whether it’s you speaking, or nodding or moving a finger.
Afterwards, you’ll lie in bed and he’ll offer to gently massage any limb that’s sore from your spasms and if you want acupuncture or a more professional massage therapist than him, he’ll have some renowned practitioner (that he’ll have a unique connection to) at the estate before you can blink.
“Oh my dear, whatever you need is yours. Always.” Is what he’ll say to whatever you need and then his staff will come in with water, your favourite drinks and snacks so you can rest, eat, and hydrate to replenish any spoons you’ve lost.
Miguel O'Hara
Miguel’s done plenty of research on tics, he’s listened to every word you utter and experience you’ve shared and then read thousands and thousands of journal articles and textbooks. Technically speaking, he knows more than any of your doctors but you won’t tell them that.
Miguel immediately knelt down as he went over to see you. He had noticed that you’d been snapping your fingers often earlier that day but here you were, shaking and snapping your fingers and squeezing your eyes shut. His red eyes focus on you as he thinks, he quickly leaps over to a desk and finds a stress ball and a first aid kit. He gives you a stress ball to try holding, hoping it’ll help with your tic.
It’s not easy to hold but it’s helping a little, as it slows down slightly he asks if he can try putting band-aids onto your fingers, you’d both talked about it before. You shudder and give a small nod, with Miguel’s extra-human gifts he does it in a blink of an eye, quicker than humanly possible and with so much ease you barely notice. Something for the better and something that’ll hopefully help with preventing your fingers and hands from getting raw and sore.
Miguel has Lyla play a breathing exercise audio that’s been tailored just for you to help you focus and regulate your breathing to help with the tic attack. After your tic attack is finally over, Miguel has your blood pressure and other vitals checked and then gives you a tall glass of water and electrolytes to drink. Miguel then has your favourite sweet treats and snacks high in sodium and other nutrients his research has told him is useful. Miguel will then sit with you on his lap and have your favourite film playing.
Marc Spector
Marc is someone who has had to do a lot of learning but he’s been willing to nonetheless. When he sees you in a tic attack that can be quite harmful to yourself, he has to pause for a moment and remind himself that ‘stopping’ the tic won’t make it go away or any easier for you. And that while it’s uncomfortable for him to see you in this type of pain and distress, it’s a million times worse for him than it is for you.
If you’re banging your head or arms against a hard surface he won’t ever try to restrain you, instead he’ll go and get pillows to put it between you and the surface to soften the impact. Marc will quickly check for any safety risks like sharp and hard objects and surfaces and he’ll help you move if needed. He’ll stay with you but he’ll give you space because he knows that’s important, he doesn’t want to add more to what you’re going through, he won’t hover or pester but instead support you however he can with what helps and what you can consent to right now and have agreed to in the past.
Marc will get you water and snacks during and after, he’ll give you cuddles and any kind of physical touch you’re okay with and want afterwards. He’ll get heat pads and gels ready for any sore muscles and keep quietly handing you glasses of water before you spend the night cuddling in all those comfy pillows and cosy blankets.

Loving you is a losing game
Marc Spector x fem! reader (Steven and Jake are mentioned briefly)
Summary: Marc meeting you was one of the best things to have happen to him. However, the demons of his past make him feel otherwise. You help him see that the love you share is one that should be fought for.
A/N: This is what I thought while listening to the song Arcade by Duncan Laurence. Of course with a happier twist.
A/N 2: Purely for entertainment purposes, so please don’t come after me. As I said, I'm still getting used to writing pieces like this.
Marc Spector’s life has never been easy. From the trauma of his young brother’s death to everything he’s during his time as Khonshu’s avatar, he’s felt like a ticking time bomb. Though he’s tried to use his time as Moon Knight to right his wrongs, it never feels like it’s enough.
When he meets you, he begins to see that there is more to life than vengeance. Marc begins to let himself enjoy your presence when he and you hit it off at the gym.
You weren’t a gym rat by any means but you had started a membership in the hopes of getting in shape and learning self-defense by using their punching bag. Seeing you hit the bag by yourself catches his attention and he begins to give you some pointers on how to improve your stance. Over time, this leads to you becoming sparring partners and eventually exchanging phone numbers. Although, this leads to you all regularly hanging out outside your sparring hours.
The day he asked you out was a shock for him because not only did he actually let himself be brave enough to ask the question but you eagerly accepted his invitation. It’s even more surprising to find out that one date led to another. Then another until you both have officially unofficially started dating.
Despite everything going well, he knew that there were things he needed to tell you. About his DID. His past. Being the avatar to an Egyptian deity in exchange to right the wrongs from his ugly past.
This then leads him to begin feeling self conscious about himself. His inner dialogue begins to consist of questions such as: What if he didn’t deserve this chance at happiness? What if she thinks I’m crazy or thinks I’m making this up?
Marc then begins to hear his mother’s voice. Telling him that he is unworthy of receiving love and will only continue to destroy all the lives that he surrounds himself with. Steven and Jake try to snap him out of this but Marc is paralyzed. At this moment, Marc only thinks one thing.
“I have to break up with her before I hurt her”, Marc thought.
_____________________________________
“Marc, this isn’t funny. Stop joking, you say.
“I’m not joking. I think we should break up,” said Marc.
“But why, Marc? Did I do something wrong?”
“Of course, you didn’t. You’ve been the best thing to have ever happened to me.”
“Then why are you doing this?” You take your hand in his, looking at him sadly. “Please, tell me why you’re acting as if I’m a disease.”
“Imthedisease.” He says as if he’s trying to rip off a bandage.
“What, baby?”
“I said, I'm the disease. I seep into innocent lives and destroy them.” He looks at you tearfully.
“Marc, that’s silly. What are you talking about?”
Marc then begins to explain everything. From the death of his younger brother to the lives he took during his time as a mercenary. He also makes sure to mention that he is the vigilante, Moon Knight, and has two other individuals living within his head. He concludes all of this by saying, “Loving me is a losing game.”
Once he’s done explaining all of this, Marc is waiting to see your reaction to all this. Will you call him crazy? Run away from him? Scream?
Instead, you take his hands in your own.
“Loving you isn’t a losing game, Marc,” you tell him. I love you and long as we have each other, we can face whatever life throws at us.”
At this, Marc pulls you into a big hug. He lets himself break down because he knows that you’re here to stay and love him. For his strengths and weaknesses, through good and bad times. He knows you will be there for him.
As you two are still embracing, he starts to believe that he is worth loving after all.

MOON BOYS X READER
₊˚.⋆🕯️⋆⁺. T-SHOT PREFS : 941 WRDS
CW : Shots, Needles, Syringes, etc.
A/N : I came up with this idea in the middle of a class and couldn’t get it off of my mind! The scenario here is that you’ve recently received your first prescription and want the boys to have the honor of giving it to you. I don’t take T myself, but for those who do/want/plan to, I hope you all enjoy these prefs!
STEVEN GRANT .
You better bet your ass that Steven would love to help you with your T shot. He’d be smiling idiotically as you grab it. He follows you to the bathroom all giddy, unable to keep still as you get the small bottle from the cabinet behind the mirror.
“It’s a shot? Why does it have to be a shot?! Isn’t there an easier way to do this? What if I hurt you?”
He gets a little weary once you inform him that he will have to put a needle in your skin. You reassure him that everything will be fine. He’ll be fine. You’ll be fine.
Once you’re settled on the edge of your shared bed, he kneels down in front of you and offers to help you shimmy your pants off just enough to show your hip.
“I’m just making sure one more time; you want me to do this?”
His hand trembles softly as he holds the syringe. His cheeks are hot from being so nervous. His eyes keep flicking from your eyes, your hip, and the syringe.
You take his free hand and place it on top of your thigh opposite of the hip he’ll inject you in. Your thumb reassuringly runs over his knuckles before you clasp your palm on the back of his. You tell him once more that you’re sure and he nods his head, feeling more sure now that he has your touch to comfort him.
He carefully injects the liquid into your hip, cringing, but eyeing the needle intently, as he does so. In all honesty he looked more scared of giving you your testosterone than you were of receiving it.
“Hey! Look at me go! Look at us go!” He’s beaming after he’s done. He quickly gets up from his feet to lean forward and kiss your forehead. He’s proud of himself for giving you the shot, proud of you for taking it, and happy that you’re taking another step to being more comfortable in your own skin. “You took that so well! I’m truly amazed at how well you did. Good job, really.”
MARC SPECTOR .
Marc is familiar with the shots, syringes, etc. from all the hospital visits. As soon as you mention there’s the option of taking it in your thigh or hip, he tells you he won’t give it to you unless you let him inject your thigh.
It’s not because he’s a thigh guy, but because he knows it’s less painful and he would never want to hurt you. Espically if he has control of the situation the two of you are in.
He does everything pretty quick. Getting the bottle and syringe prepared, making sure you’re sat somewhere cozy, and moving your pants aside so he can get to your thigh easily.
Marc lets out a deep exhale as he looks up at you from his knees. “You ready? I can hold your hand if you want. We could get you some numbing cream. I’ll do anything if it means you’ll be a little more relaxed.” His other hand rubs the back of your calf, feeling your tensed muscles. He really would do anything to help you feel less stressed about this shot, espically considering how he would be given them with little to no warning and forcefully.
Once both of you knew you were for sure ready, he quickly but gently injected your thigh while he kissed the skin around it softly. “You’re okay, sweetheart. I’m here for you. I always will be.”
From his gentle touch, soft kisses, and reassurance, the shot felt like nothing. You were smiling the whole way through from how much he simply cared for you. God, he made your heart melt.
JAKE LOCKLEY .
Jake was on the fence at first when you asked him to help you with your T. He didn’t say yes, but he didn’t say no.
“Would it be better if I did it? Do you want me to hold your hand while you do it? You sure you trust me to do this?”
He felt so appreciative that you were giving him the option of injecting you with your first shot, but he also didn’t believe he deserved to do it.
Once you convinced him that you really wanted him to do it, he accepted it with a prideful and happy smile.
“No, no, no. Don’t even think about it. Let me get everything for you. Don’t move a muscle, mi amor.”
Jake was insistent that you relax while he does everything he can to make this moment memorable, comfortable, and happy. He kept rambling about how happy he is for you and that he’s proud of you for bringing it up with your doctor.
Some time later you were sat comfortably on the couch. He got your favorite blanket, some pillows to go behind your back. He lowered himself onto one knee and carefully prepared the liquid into the syringe.
You both decided that he would inject the testosterone into your thigh. He softly asked you to take some deep breaths with him before counting down until the needle reached your skin.
Jaked talked you through the whole dose of testosterone. His opposite hand slipped under your shirt, his thumb rubbing circles on your hip.
“One, two, three… There you go. You’re doing great, cariño. It’s almost all gone. You’re so strong. You’ve got this!”
Once he was done he got himself up off the floor, kissed your forehead, and safely disposed of the syringe. He gently ran his hand over your thigh with a subtle smile on his lips. He was incredibly proud of you, and himself for helping you out.

You were sitting in a greenish armchair, standing against the wall of a room cluttered with books, starring at your bruised hands, while uncontrollable tears ran down your cheeks. The adrenaline that had driven your body to action just a moment ago was slowly making place for pure fear, and every creak of the wooden floorboards made you flinch as you glanced panickedly towards the source of the sound.
“Darlin’?” you heard your boyfriend's voice. You slowly raised your gaze to the man with the curly hair, who was now crouching in front of you, placing his hand on those of yours, “Can you tell me what happened?”
His voice was calm and his movements gentle. His face, on the other hand, portrayed both confusion and worry as his chocolate eyes wandered over your face. Seeing you take your hands from him in response to his question and lower your stare again, he looked around the room as if looking for someone to help him.
“Love, you need to tell me what happened so that I can help you” he stood up from his crouching position, helplessly placing his hands on his hips.
Meeting another lack of response from you, he sighed deeply, running his hand over his tired face. It was late and Steven had had two sleepless nights that you didn't know about. The only thing he was dreaming of at the moment was getting back into the bed you had dragged him out of with your unannounced visit and getting at least a few hours of sleep. The situation in which he sleepily stood in front of a crying you in his grey pyjamas wasn't the most comfortable situation of his life, but after all, he couldn't leave you in such a condition.
He glanced up at the ceiling and tried again.
He squatted in front of you this time without touching your hands, instead placing his own on your knees, “Would you like a warm drink? I have your favourite tea” he asked, gently stroking the fabric of your jeans with his thumbs. You nodded nervously, to which Steven asked another question, “And later, will you tell me why are you crying?”
“You- You've already met him” you said quietly, without looking at the man in front of you. The tears had stopped dripping from your eyes a while ago, but you slurped your nose every now and then, and slight hiccups made themselves known at even intervals.
“What do you mean, love?” you couldn't see his face, but you were sure he was wrinkling his thick eyebrows in confusion.
You were a student in your final year of literary studies and every day on the college campus you met hundreds, if not thousands, of different faces. The only people you recognised were professors and students who stood out in some way in your class groups over the years. For some time, however, you had the feeling that every day on your way between classes you met the same man with a rather distinctive beauty.
Between classes, because he was not a member of any of the groups you attended lectures with, and yet it seemed as if he knew your schedule perfectly.
The boy you've been seeing lately on a daily basis seemed like he could be your age. His head was crowned with a tumble of ginger curls and his face was adorned with wire-rimmed glasses. With his style of clothing, he was reminiscent of a classicist writer, and his hands were often full of books, so you assumed that he was either also studying your major or something similar.
He usually kept some distance from you, not accosting you or drawing much attention to himself, but the moment you exchanged a few words in the university library, you noticed that the redhead felt much more confident in your company. It was enough to let him sit at your table while you studied, and he started not only greeting you every day, but also initiating short conversations and even inviting you for coffee, walks in antique shops, or to his place.
Despite his friendly appearance and calm manner, something about him didn't sit well with you and you didn't feel comfortable in his company, so you declined the redhead's invitations as nicely as you could, but he didn't give up.
More and more often you saw him in other places besides on campus.
You'd see him at the café where you bought a vanilla latte every day before your morning classes. You would see him during the afternoon walks in the park across your flat, that you loved to take when the sun was shining outside your window. You even seemed to see his red curls flashing between the shelves during your weekly grocery shopping.
All this made you feel like you were slowly going crazy, but after all, he wasn't a threat, so you didn't want to tell anyone about him.
You didn't want to, but the moment you met him at Steven's workplace made you change your mind.
That day Steven was working until 5pm, so you agreed to drop by the museum on your way back from the afternoon lectures and then go out to eat together. Because of your timetable, combined with the writing of your final thesis, and his schedule at work, it was difficult for you to meet every day. Unfortunately, the 24-hour day was too short and your daily chores often took up a good part of it, so even quick meals eaten together were satisfying.
After entering the museum, you greeted the security guard, who you already got to know better, and with a bright smile headed to the gift store where Steven was an employee. You knew that his boss didn't like it when you visited him because she claimed that even if there were no customers in the store you were the one big distraction, so you made sure by peeking at your watch that there wasn't much time left until Steven finished his shift.
Taking the first step beyond the threshold of the store, you wanted to wave hello right away, pretending to be a hesitant potential customer looking to buy some silly souvenir offered by the museum, but when you saw who your boyfriend was talking to, you immediately stopped, and the whole smile disappeared from your face.
Hearing some small noise that you had caused with your arrival, Steven peeked out from behind the red head belonging to a boy whose existence you would like to forget and, seeing you, smiled. Before the man, who was unfamiliar to Steven, had time to turn his head in your direction, you shook off the shock and moved slowly toward them.
“Y/N, meet Frank. He will be our new employee” your boyfriend announced with a happy smile. You, on the other hand, looked at the presented boy with subtle confusion. Frank? You'd give your hand to cut off that he introduced himself to you by another name at the university.
“I think we already know each other” you moved your gaze to the cuddly toys portraying Taweret, standing near the cash register, when the redhead didn't take his eyes off you.
“Did we?” he asked, which caused you to look at him again, gently wrinkling your eyebrows. “I'm sure I'd remember a girl like that if I'd met her before” he gave you a charming smile and you blinked blankly several times without saying anything.
He behaved very differently on campus. He wasn't so bold, and you certainly wouldn't think he could flirt with you in the presence of your boyfriend. Or maybe ‘Frank’ didn't know that the man he was talking to just a moment ago was in a relationship with you? Maybe it was just some not-so-funny coincidence? Could this man's actions be called coincidental when he has been showing up everywhere you go for over a month now?
“Darlin’?” Steven's voice reaching you snapped you out of your thoughts. You shook your head in embarrassment, shifting your gaze to the man on the other side of the counter, realising that you had been staring blankly at the redhead for a longer moment.
“Yes? Sorry I- sorry” you said quickly, not knowing how to act.
“I asked if you would stay a minute with Frank while I tell Donna I'm leaving. Are you all right though? You turned pale…”
“Yes, of course, go” you answered immediately, ignoring the man's last question, then sent him a forced smile. “Make it quick, I'm hungry already” to emphasise your words, you glanced checkly at your watch and then followed as Steven ran to find his boss.
“What are you doing here?” you asked when your boyfriend disappeared from your sight, shifting your gaze to the redheaded boy. At the same time, you took a few steps away from him, standing in a way that people who were outside the shop could see you. You didn't know what might pop into this madman's head, so you preferred to take every precaution. The boy seeing this burst into silent laughter, shaking his head in disbelief.
“Aren't you happy to see me?” he asked, tilting his head gently to the right, with an ironic smirk on his face.
The boy who stood in front of you was definitely not the boy you had the occasion to share a table with in the university library, and now you have confirmed this even more.If he took this version of behaviour at the time of meeting Steven, how would he behave if you agreed to accept one of his invitations to meet him? A shiver went down your spine at the very thought of what could happen then.
You looked quickly over your shoulder, checking to see if your boyfriend was already on his way back to you, but when you didn't see him anywhere on the horizon, you returned your gaze to Frank.
“I just wanted to see what it was about the guy who often hung around by your side” he answered the previously asked question while taking a step towards you. “One should not judge a book by its cover, but really? A shop worker in a museum gift shop, who spreads the energy of a man in his 70s and a seven-year-old at the same time? You can do better, Y/N”
You furrow your eyebrows in frustration, hearing what he says about Steven, “And who would be better in your opinion? You, Frank? If my memory serves me right, back in the library your name was Nathaniel, so perhaps you'd like to explain your point about pretending we've never met?”
“I know the entire schedule of your week, and you're asking why, in Steven's presence, I pretended we'd never seen each other?” as the boy standing in front of you finished his question, you noticed his sight move to something behind your back. “Take care, we'll be seeing each other even more often now” he smiled in a fake way, then passed you and left the shop.
You turned around after him and, seeing his ginger head talking to Steven a few steps away, you walked up to the counter, where you leaned your hands against it and sighed shakily, closing your eyes, hanging your head down.
When, after a short while, you felt someone's hand on your back, you jumped slightly, immediately turning to face the stranger. This stranger turned out to be Steven, who was completely not expecting such a reaction from you, because he was now standing with his hands gently raised in the air.
“Did I do something wrong?” he asked confusedly, and you could hear a hint of sadness in his voice.
“No, of course not” you assured immediately, then bit your lower lip thinking what you should do next. “I think I need to tell you something… about- about your new co-worker” you said lowering your gaze to the floor.
“What is it, love?” Steven asked, bringing an even softer tone of his voice than usual and taking your hands in his. You looked at him again as he gently squeezed your hands, wanting to give you encouragement.
“Let's go to your place. Anywhere where we won't be listened to…” you looked around tentatively, making sure you were alone in the shop. Seeing your reaction, Steven also got a look around and then moved his hands to the sides of your shoulders to softly rub them.
“Of course, yes” saying that, he walked behind the counter, from where he took his jacket and put it on himself. “Donna will come to start the next shift soon” at the man's words, you nodded, looking nervously around the room again, then put your arms around yourself and sighed quietly.
When Steven's boss came to change him behind the till, you didn't even pay attention to her snideness directed towards you. At that moment, all you wanted was to sit down in a place where you felt safe and let out everything you had been hiding from everyone for the past months.
You didn't know the intentions of the red-haired boy who had recently become your second shadow, but knowing how he already wanted you, you were afraid he might hurt Steven.
After entering his flat and locking the door with all the locks, you quickly took a seat on the old couch and chaotically started to tell him about Frank, who is actually Nathaniel, but actually you are not even sure about that. You told him how you had noticed him at university, you described him your meeting in the library, as well as his nudging invitations and seeing him afterwards everywhere you went. You also didn't forget to repeat to him the words the redhead said when Steven left the gift shop.
Even if the sentences you spoke didn't always make grammatical sense, the man listened carefully while sitting next to you. When your runny eyes paused for a longer time on his face, he would nod, showing you that you had his one hundred per cent attention all the time.
That was one of the traits of Steven that you loved so much about him. No matter what was going on, he was always there for you. He listened to what you had to say. He helped as much as he could. You felt a huge amount of support in him and you knew you could always count on him. And in the same way, he could count on you, even if he didn't often take advantage of this opportunity.
“Darlin’?” you heard Steven's voice pulling you out of your head, where a moment ago the memory of his first meeting with Nathaniel was looming.
You blinked several times, shifting your gaze to the man's chocolate eyes, recalling what he was asking before you let your thoughts wander, “Could you- could you please repeat?”
“What do you mean by saying I’ve met him before?”
You were ashamed that you hadn't noticed Steven's exhaustion before, instead just barging into his flat practically in the middle of the night, but a moment ago your only focus was on being somewhere safe, next to your person.
“Nathaniel. It was Nathaniel, Steven. I-” you stopped suddenly, feeling tears starting to come to your eyes again.
“It’s okay, everything's fine, love. You're safe here” saying this, he grabbed your hands, which this time you also willingly squeezed. “What did he do?”
You could have sworn that asking the question there was some kind of change in his eyes and his British accent suddenly disappeared, but you quickly blamed it on an overstimulated and tired mind. The man crouching in front of you was watching your face carefully, with his eyebrows furrowed slightly, and his face, just a moment ago longing for sleep, was now more tensed.
“I spent half a day with Evelyn working on that project I told you about recently. We were in a cafe near Bloomsbury and then- then each of us went its own way. I was going to go straight home, but-”
“All right, let's skip it. What did Nathaniel do, Y/N?” you were not given the chance to finish because Steven interrupted you in the middle of the story, in a harsher voice than always. He had never interrupted you in this way, so you were a little taken aback, but seeing the hurried movement of the man's hand, you took a deeper breath and started talking again.
“I met him passing through the park, across from my flat. He- I don’t know, he was behaving strangely. He looked like he was drugged by some sort of substance, and when I tried to-” you paused to calm your nerves a little as your voice began to shake. Steven let go of your hands and stood up, now looking down at you with his jaw clenched with anger. “When I wanted to ignore him and rush home, he grabbed my wrist and started pulling me, saying some- I don't know, I was so scared, Steven.”
The truth was that you knew perfectly well what the man you met was saying to you, but you were unable to repeat it out loud.
“You should go to bed, Y/N. Stay here tonight.”
You watched Steven walk over to the wardrobe, from which he took out the clothes you always slept in when you were in his place, and then handed them to you.
“I have to get something done, I'll be back soon.”
You furrowed your eyebrows as the man returned to the wardrobe as if nothing had happened and quickly began to throw off his pyjamas, changing into a plain black t-shirt and jeans.
“Steven?” you asked, getting up from the greenish armchair and putting the clothes you had been given aside. The mentioned Steven, however, didn't answer you, which wasn't his style, so you confusedly looked around the room, not knowing what was going on. After changing his clothes, the man walked to the door, where he began to put on his shoes. Every now and then he kept glancing in the mirror at the same time, looking as if he was thinking deeply about something.
“Where are you going, Steven?” you asked, taking a few steps toward him. The man only made eye contact with you through your reflection in the mirror, without even giving you a quick look over his shoulder.
“He is not here” you heard, and after a while the brown-eyed man left the apartment.
You stood confused in the middle of the dusty living room, staring at the door that was closed a moment ago.
What?
You felt like you had gone completely insane already. First you had to run away from a crazy man who should be isolated from other people, and now your Steven is telling you that Steven is not here? Maybe it's just a dream? An extremely crazy dream, but still a dream? You began to carry on an internal monologue, while walking nervously back and forth.
Finally, you stopped in front of one of the bookcases and quickly pulled your phone out of your pocket. Its screen was broken, which was the result of the fact that it had fallen out of your pocket during your escape from the red-haired aggressor, but it was usable, and that was the most important thing. You went into the call history and quickly found Steven's number, then put the phone to your ear, listening for some signal. Unfortunately, almost straight away you heard a mechanical voice saying that the person you were trying to call either had their phone turned off or was out of reach.
You were awake when Steven turned up at the door to his apartment again. You hadn't even changed into the clothes you had been given before he left. This whole time in his absence you sat like on pins, unable to calm your thoughts. You tried a few more times to contact him, knowing that it wouldn't help anyway since his phone was off, but you didn't know what to do with yourself.
When he came inside, you were sitting on the edge of his bed, nervously stomping your foot and scratching the cuticle near one of your left hand nails.
You didn't know how much time had passed, but as soon as you noticed a disheveled Steven with a cut lip, you immediately jumped to your feet.
“Oh God, Steven… What happened to you?” you asked, rushing over to him as he backed up against the wall, kicking off shoes from his feet.
The man didn't answer your question, making it seem as if he didn't even hear it. You stood worriedly in front of him as he was about to walk deeper into the apartment, looking closely at his face, while taking it in your hands. You softly touched the cut on his lower lip, at which he frowned slightly.
“Sorry” you whispered quickly, as if the normal tone of your voice could hurt Steven even more.
The man standing in front of you looked as if he had aged ten years, during which life had shown him no mercy. He looked like a puppy, left for dead, so now it was you who felt obliged to take care of him, just as he did when you knocked weepingly on his door.
“We'll talk tomorrow, okay? Now let's quickly clean this wound and go to sleep, yeah?” you wanted to look into Steven's chocolate eyes, trying to find the answer in them. He instead took you into his arms, hugging you tightly and petting your hair.
“I'm sorry I didn't do anything about it earlier…” you heard his hushed voice, immediately noticing his British accent. “You will already be safe, I promise you that.”
After a while, during which you allowed Steven to hold you in his embrace, you both went to the bathroom, in order to wipe his cut lip. You didn't talk, but you didn't need to do so at all. You knew that you would have a frank conversation in the morning once you both got some sleep. Now you let things happen.
You wanted to ask Steven about everything right away. Not only about what happened to Nathaniel, but especially about his sudden change in behavior. You felt as if you were in the presence of a completely different person at that moment, but you refrained from bombarding him with a thousand questions, and after a few minutes you were both lying in his bed, giving yourself over to the embrace of sleep.

You know when work is so much, but like so much, and you don’t have a moment of peace? That. The workload I had accumulated in the days before was impressive, and I was almost amazed at the work I had to do. Eating seemed like a waste of time, drinking seemed like a waste of time... And if I needed to fulfill my duties, I had to do it without unnecessary breaks or interruptions. That’s why I warned my three boyfriends, Jake, Marc and Steven, not to worry about my sudden disappearance. ''Don’t worry, I just have a lot of work to do.' Xxx :)))' Something told me they would worry. They would understand, right?
Everything seemed so.. Complicated. Maybe, I should have continued. But the concentration began to disappear and slowly my eyes closed, and the breath regularized. Leaning my head on the wooden desk I closed my eyes, succumbing to the sleep so rejected.
«Love? Are you awake?»
A voice as sweet as honey brought me back to reality. I felt a sweet shake of my body, waking up from that 'nap' I had promised myself to have. And, in an instant, I found the hazel eyes that I loved so much about Steven. He smiled at me. «Love, I see that you’ve collapsed. What... What’s going on?» he asked me in a concerned tone.
Rubbing my eyes, I checked the time. 7.39 fucking pm. The last time I checked the time was 4.11 pm. Man, that nap took longer than I expected.
«It’s okay, Steven. The job’s just a lot, but I’ll be fine.»
He sighed loudly, fidgeting with his fingers. «Lovie, I know you have a lot to do. Believe me, I appreciate how much you try, but...It's dangerous for your health.»
«Hey, it's okay. I-I think...»
«You’re trying harder than you should.»
Steven’s sweet tone changed to a harsher one, yet concerned. Even his eyes changed from sweet to almost expressionless.
Marc. It could only be him.
«Hello to you too, Marc. And no, I’m sure I’m not putting my health at risk. I’d stop in time otherwise."
He made a mocking noise. «I, no, we know your habits very well. And we all know that you would risk your health for something as trivial as...this.» He pointed rather angrily at the work table, filled with papers to fill in and the computer, which had an open document not yet complete.
«Marc...»
Marc tilted his head to the side and stared at the computer screen. I turned to look where he was looking and thought he was seeing Jake’s reflection there. Suspicions were confirmed when he rested on the mental conversation he was having with the latter. «They're are not well! I can see that well, I am not stupid yet, man.»He Inhaled and shook his head, pinching his nose. «All right. Try talking to them, since you know what to do every time."
And here his facial features harden more than before, shifting to an expression of pure anger. Now Jake crossed his arms, but there was a half-smile on his face. «Florecito, Steven, Marc and I believe you should rest properly. So whether you want it or not, we will drag you into bed and let you relax. ¿Has entendido?»
Maybe I didn’t deserve them. I didn’t deserve how they paid me so much attention so easily, like it was the most normal thing in the world. I had always put work above everything else, risking losing even important hours of sleep for the previous day. Jake took me gently by the arm, so I got up from the chair and looked him right in the eyes. I could feel Steven and Marc behind those eyes.
«You’re right. I’m not gonna finish this without resting and eating at least.» I showed him a smile, and he smiled back, tracing the index finger on my forearm. «It’s my fault, florecito. Ah, ¡callense! Steven and Marc say that it’s not that I have to take all the credit.» I laughed at seeing my three guys fighting each other.«It’s thanks to all three of you that I’ll be better by tomorrow.» I left a kiss on Jake’s lips gently, and he took me by the hips, bringing me more to himself, adjusting his hair dishevelled.
«Ah, I’d be lost without your help, guys!»
