Supporting you as you stepped up the small staircase, Steve held your hips gently and smiled as he watched you stretch to place the golden tree topper. You placed the star atop the tree and return to the ground. 

Mrs. Harrington took pride in having her holiday be picture-perfect. And that required a big bright star on her tall thick white pine Christmas tree. Dressed head to toe with color coordinated lights and ornaments.

“What do you think?” he asked you with a smile.

Your expression copied his. 

“I think it looks perfect.”

A flash of light from behind caught your attention, and the two of you were quick to turn to find Mrs. Harrington. She had a smile on her face and a shine to her eyes. Along with a camera in her hands. 

“Just something for the grandkids.”

These are the aesthetics of the dreams found in Chapter 1 of my fic "A Movie I've Seen Before". All of the dreams were loosely based off of the Lizzy McAlpine song, Ceilings, and each panel has the lyrics that inspired the dream.

Summary: A few days through the aftermath of what happened in the upside down, Steve starts to have dreams. They are not normal dreams, however, since he is joined by Eddie Munson, who doesn't act like he's been dead. Steve chalks it all up to grief, but some of the feelings he has can not be explained. And when his lights start flashing and he gets strange phone calls in the middle of the night, that can only mean Eddie's alive, right?
