One thing I love to do when drawing a colon-three face is making the mouth extra long. This is exactly my kind of colon-three. 10/10

So uhm. Bet you thought we forgot about this blog!! Haha!! No!! We are reminded every day that we haven't posted anything and it is hell !!!!

BUT. Anywho. We've been practicing voicing some characters lately, and ended up taking inspiration from I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, this in particular from the audio play. I swear we'll post refs... one day...... AENTROPUS HAS MULTIPLE SETS OF ARMS. I SWEAR. BUT I DIDNT WANNA EDIT THAT IN...

Anywho. Boy I sure wonder what Aentropus, the god of chaos, is referencing when it talks about chaos as a thing! It's sure a mystery and not at all a very thin metaphor for itself being fed up with being treated like a lesser being amongst its fellows! /s

[A video featuring characters made in Gacha Life 2. In the top corner, there is a watermark crediting the author by two usernames: human-souls-buy-dopamine on tumblr and theatricallythrilling on YouTube.

A character (Aentropus) slides into view from the right of the screen, holding a hand up as if to chime in to some interaction. It doesn't have a human head, instead having a black sphere with a gradient around the edges. Its face is purely white outlines for the eyes and mouth, and it almost never seems to stop smiling a shark-tooth grin. Despite this, its frustration is evident. When it speaks, the dialog is written on screen in orange, using the stereofidelic font.

It starts off by saying "In case you've forgotten, my dearly detested," exaggerating the word 'in'. It looks strained to keep the smile up. At 'dearly detested,' it briefly moves off screen, and another character, Poine, moves in.

After Poine moves off-screen once again, and Aentropus back on-screen, it continues, saying "you cannot simply will chaos out of existence." It pauses at 'simply,' dragging on for a short moment and looking away as if considering what the right word would be. Near the end of the sentence, it crosses its arms, closing its eyes as if readying itself to continue speaking.

Aentropus continues, saying "You must either embrace it, or succumb to it." It says this as it is walking off-screen to the left, suddenly looking more serious than before. There is a brief pause between 'embrace it' and the word 'or' for dramatic effect. During this sequence, the instrumental beginning of the song Alien Blues fades in, providing music.

Two solid-color figures, Poine and Aentropus, fade in behind the subtitles around the second half of the sentence. Poine is a muted, light blue color, and Aentropus is a vivid orange. Aentropus emphasizes the previous point, saying "there is no in-between." Poine and Aentropus's sillhouettes fade out as it goes on.

It further elaborates, saying "You cannot ignore it, you cannot pretend that it does not exist, that it is not there—". The first statement is accompanied by Poine sliding into view from the bottom of the screen upwards, and the last is accompanied by Aentropus sliding in much the same, except from the top. They are glaring at eachother, Aentropus squinting heavily.

Both graphics as well as the caption fade out as there is a pause in both dialog and music. After the brief silence, Aentropus speaks once more, the captions being larger and now in the center of the screen.

It says "cogito ergo sum, Poine; I think, therefore I am." There are quotes around the latin, and the words appear as they are spoken. After the first four words, the rest appear individually (with the exception of "i am"), and the word 'therefore' is split into two syllables for dramatic effect. As it says "I think, therefore I am," Aentropus's tone becomes much more serious, and it becomes deeper and less accented. The text gradually begins to shake and become a brighter, reddish-orange.

The text fades out shortly afterward, followed by the first few lyrics of Alien Blues as the song resumes. The screen fades to black, and credits fade in before fading out again near the end. The music slowly goes to silence over time.

The credits attribute editing, voiceover, characters, and writing to The Theatrix System. The song used is credited, including the artist, Vundabar. It is noted that the video was inspired by AM's (in all caps) "cogito ergo sum" dialog in I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, clarifying in parentheses that it is specifically the audio play.

Rave Poster, Process and Final outcome

Here is the process of me making my rave poster inspired by the multiverse and using inspiration from previous analysis’s.

Firstly I used the line tool in illustrator and made two triangles with a 10px thickness line. Then I drew patterns in the triangles. This is inspired by the album ‘Chromatica’ by Lady Gaga

I chose my favourite one and dropped it into photoshop.

I went to layer styles and ticked ‘Bevel & Emboss’, I changed a couple of settings in there, example, changing the hardness from 100 to 1000 to make it less blurred and add a metalic effect to the triangle shape. I did this to make it look more realistic.

I then added a gradient to it using dark greys, making it look more like metal. I then added a gradient dark pink for the background. I made it dark pink because it is surposse to represent the sky, so I needed to make it more of a mutual pink.

I used the lasso tool to draw the shape of a light beaming from a spaceship. I did this to fit in with the theme of the multi-verse.

I got the gradient tool and make it a gradient of white and a very light yellow, I make the white part opacity 0 so it fades out and look more like a light beaming down from a spaceship.

I then made the light layer set to ‘Overlay’. I then got the rubber tool at size 300 and hardness at 0, I then started to rubout the outlines of the light to make it look faded, less sharp and more realistic. I had to go over twice to rubout all the access.

I then looked through the brush styles and found one that look like stars, I then started playing around with it, trying to create stars, I tried to do it with the normal brush but didn’t have the same effect as this brush did

I made the stars layer set to ‘Overlay’ to make it blend in more with the image and make it more realistic.

I got an image of a cloud on the internet and pet it to png. I added the layer into photoshop and duplicated it. I placed the clouds at the bottom in a way that make the rave symbol look like it is floating in the air as if the spaceship is slowly bringing the symbol into their spaceship.

I added a text with the font ‘Stereofidelic’ and made it black, i then started playing around with the text effects and set the text to arch, I then sized it down to 150 to it looked perfectly placed over my rave symbol.

I added another text that says the date of when the rave will take place. I used the font ‘Keep on trukin’ because it gave me the vibe of the 80′s and 90′s, I then made both text layers set to ‘Overlay’ to add effect to the poster and add to the tones/colour pallet I used for this poster.

I then merged all the layers together and added a noise filter at setting 15. I did this to add effect and texture to the poster, make it look less flat and give it more of the 80′s/90′s vibe.

I am happy with my final outcome. I think I nailed the theme of a 80′s/90′s multi-verse inspired rave poster. I did have a little error when saving the poster and I had to screenshot the image as it wouldn’t let me save the image and kept coming up with an error message when doing anything, that will be something i would have to save when printing out for my portfolio. If I was to do it again, I would add more colours and tones to make it more colourful and make it pop more. I have noticed the tones look similar to a poster I have made for a previous project. I would change the colours/tone or add more as I don’t like the idea of dragging the same theme etc into different topic as I think it would look better if they had a certain theme but not look similar or look the same.

We plan on giving each character a unique font and font color to represent them, and some do already!

Kard's is Merienda (both regular and bold) and the color(s) change between black text with a white outline and white text with a black outline.

We originally tried to establish Aentropus' as Stereofidelic, but we're reconsidering the font choice because there's no difference in lowercase/uppercase with that font. It hasn't had a consistent shade of orange quite yet... When it has its breakdown moments, its font changes to Chaos Times.

Luvian is Gloria Hallelujah Regular with the color #9C37FF.

Nelphite's is Noto Serif Regular at the moment, but we want to find a more unique serif font for him. The shade of green hasn't been consistent.

Poine's is ??? A serif font ????? I don't know, we keep changing it... #B3C6CE for color though.

Theron's is Night Stalker Free. #FF0000

Flaerik was intended to be Abril Fatface, but we scrapped that idea.

Beyond that, we have only some vague ideas... Staegnos' font is likely to be cursive or just flowy in general. Sirius' will probably be a sharp, serif font.
