Yes I know, the quick "Saturday Night"s are off pitch, but they didn't actually sound any better when I shifted them, and it interfered with the "Utakata"s. Also, Utakata pulls the same trick as Umaku Ienai, where there's not actually a key change for the last chorus. Instead, they drop the transition from the bridge down a key (or in this case, Fukuchan's "odoritai!"), so that the return to the chorus feels like a key change up.

You would think that to be catchy, a song must have some simple lyrics, however, this isn´t always the case. Some of the most popular pop songs hide very dark and Deep meanings on their beats, for example, “chandelier” by Sia, a song wich granted the singer many awards and stayed in the 8° place on the billboards 2014, hides in the catchy chorus an obscure state of mind, “i´m gonna swing from a chandelier” is a metaphore of someone whose life and sanity have been affected (by alcoholism) until the point they are hanging by a thread in completely instability and fragile situation.

Lyrics like this should be a more frecuent theme on pop music, due to the mass reach it has it can be helpful to make visible some tabú subjects and start to think about it.

Dermot Joseph Kennedy (born December 13, 1991 in Tallaght, Dublin) is an Irish singer-songwriter.

He grew up in the small town of Rathcoole, a Dublin suburb about 15 km from Dublin city centre.

His musical career initially began on a local basis. He won a songwriting contest in Dublin, which made him famous in the city's underground scene, and was allowed to perform for Glen Hansard.

In 2016 he began to expand his presence on Spotify, where he was not only active as a solo artist but also with his band Shadows and Dust at the time. He brought it to over 300 million streams. In 2017 he was finally signed by Interscope. In the same year his EP Doves and Ravens was self-distributed.

After starting with singer-songwriter music with acoustic guitar, his later releases are also influenced by the hip-hop scene. He uses guitar and piano patterns with trap and electronic arrangements.
