Just found out that Stephanie White was married to a man in her later years of college/early years in the WNBA, but then divorced him after 4 years and then got married to a woman a few years later

STEPHANIE WHITE IS THE NEW FEVER HEAD COACH WOOHOO!!!

A lot of us knew already thanks to that Twitter source, but it's a relief to see it confirmed finally. Such a great fit. She's comin' home to Indiana, and has been SO pro-Caitlin Clark for years. It's gonna be amazing to see what they do together. Championships incoming!!!

And just to be a little petty...

Early in the season you had the Sky, Aces and Sun fans (toxic portions anyway, not all) + misc CC haters yappin' how: "No one is going to want to play or coach in Indiana because of CC's fans!"

But now we have an elite coach and execs + top free agents comin' soon. Meanwhile nobody wants to touch the Sky, Aces are embroiled in controversy, and the Sun are imploding. Speaking of the Sun, I recall Carrington saying Indiana Fever had the worst fans in the league. But we just stole her coach who is now saying the Fever have the greatest fans bwahaha. Stephanie White also previously tried to make people understand the difference between racist trash trolls vs true fans of the game and WNBA. So, she gets it.

And just on a personal "that's cool" level, as an added bonus I love that both the new Fever GM/COO and the new Head Coach -- are openly queer women.
