Mentoring: there’s real value in it. Flashback to last autumn and I was speaking to Engineering students a UCLan about using and engineering mindset in careers and business. I’ll be returning again for the next cohort, and it got me thinking about those I mentor. I had a less than optimal experience and that made me feel like mentoring wasn’t valuable, but now I’m on the other side, it has real power and it’s amazing to see your mentees flourishing.
